Thank you for your favs and follows! And thank you especially to OriginalDrumy and EmikoBankotsu for your reviews xo

I've been messing with the format/chapter titles of this series so they are all flower-based. There have been no changes to the snippets themselves.

Ranunculus

Charm and attractiveness; "I am dazzled by your charms".

"Chore boy~!"

From his place descending the spiral staircase, Luffy paused and leaned himself over the railing at the sound of Nami's calling. Loudly, he shouted, "What are you doing?!"

It was Usopp who responded, a snigger in his voice. "We heard you're going to be working here for a whole year!"

"Mind if we redraw the flag for our ship?" teased Zoro, a casual arm slung over the back of his chair.

"I'm thinking pink," Terra added with a snicker.

With a hop, Luffy flung himself over the railing to join the crew at their table as fast as possible. He immediately took notice— and great offense— to the array of food set before them. "You're eating all this food without me!?" he roared. "What kind of crew are you?!"

Terra tossed a grape into her mouth. "A hungry one."

"How could you do this to me?!"

Zoro turned his gaze away from Luffy, a grin on his face and a laugh in his voice. "Hold on, I think that's our business, right?"

Silently, Luffy dropped a booger into Zoro's water.

"Oh my god," Usopp quietly sputtered, earning him an elbow in the side from Terra as he and the two girls struggled to conceal their amusement.

"But I have to say," Zoro continued, seemingly oblivious. "The food here is really delicious." He reached out to his glass, and slowly raised it to his mouth. "I'd feel bad for you, but—"

Suddenly, he was forcing the spoiled water into Luffy's mouth. "Why don't you try some yourself!"

The three remaining at the table burst into laughter as their captain struggled to pull away from the green-haired swordsman, sputtering his way through the entire glass of water. Zoro released him when the glass was empty, letting Luffy fall to the ground where he rolled around clutching his throat.

"I can't believe you did that!" he was shouting through his gagging.

"Yeah, well, I can't believe that you did that," promptly responded Zoro, who stood above Luffy with his shoulders squared.

Suddenly, there was a red flower beneath her nose. Terra was already gasping in delight before she registered the hand it belonged to, a hand which was attached to a handsome blond wearing a black suit. He was kneeling between herself and Nami, and he held his other hand against his chest.

"Sweet ocean, thank you for your bounty!" he said as his hand moved to cover his face, his head turned away. "I can no longer bear the hardship of loving you from afar! I'm prepared to sail to the end of the earth as a pirate if it means someone of your rare beauty will be by my side!"

"How generous," Terra responded in monotone as she plucked the flower from his grasp. At first glance, she had thought it to be a rose, but the petals weren't quite right. She smiled as she realized she had been gifted a new flower.

"To be together, sailing the sea! But alas," he cried, standing abruptly with a dramatic hand swept over his forehead. "Such a great obstacle blocks our path—"

"And that great obstacle would be me, right?" A chef stood behind the blond with a towering white hat atop his head. "Sanji."

The blond's demeanour drained in an instant, his shoulders slumping and eyes rolling. "Ugh, old geezer," he grumbled.

"This is an opportunity that's too good to pass up," the chef continued, the blond— Sanji— seething at his words. "You should join them. Become a pirate. I have no need for you here in my restaurant."

"Harsh," Terra muttered as she twirled her flower, earning her a retribution elbow from Usopp.

"Listen, pal," said Sanji to the chef, his hands shoved nonchalantly into his pockets despite his aggressive tone. "I'm the sous chef, what do you mean you don't need me anymore?"

"You're always picking fights with customers. You flirt with every woman under eighty who walks in here—"

Terra touched her white hair, wondering just how old the chef thought she was.

"—and you can't even cook a decent meal. You're worth less to me than the chum after brunch. That's what I mean. And let's not forget how the other chefs avoid you like poison. So run off and be a pirate, or whatever— just get out of this restaurant."

With his back to them, they couldn't see Sanji's expression as he replied, "That's how it is? You run your mouth and think that I'll just take it, old man? I can blow off everything you said, but I won't let anyone trash my cooking! I'm staying here as a sous chef, and that's final!"

He strode forward, capturing the chef's jacket in his fist. "You hear me!?"

"What do you think you're doing, maggot?! Taking your boss by the collar!" the chef yelled in response, before swiftly grabbing Sanji and tossing him towards their table. "You idiot!"

The crew grabbed up their plates a moment before Sanji crashed over their table, one of the wooden legs snapping below them. Sanji slid to the ground with a grumble of "dumb geezer".

"Enough with the games," said Sanji as he pushed himself up to a sitting position. "I'm here to stay, I'm not going anywhere, old man. Not until you're dead and gone!"

Finished with his taunts, the chef began to stride away. "Ha! I've got another hundred years of kicking your ass."

Luffy wasted no time in bending down to Sanji, with a hand on the blond's shoulder and a wide grin on his face. "See! He said it's okay! Now you can become a pirate!"

"Shut up!"

Twirling the flower between her fingers, Terra smirked towards the pair and muttered to Usopp, "I guess my bountiful beauty wasn't enough to seal the deal?"

Sanji was suddenly standing once more, righting their table and smoothing out the table cloth. Outstandingly quick, he set the table before the two female members of the crew.

"My apologies," he said, already pouring a glass of white wine for Terra. "Allow me to make it up to you with a fruit macedonia, princesses." He placed two sugar-rimmed glasses before them, filled with freshly cut up fruits.

"Wow!" Nami exclaimed, clasping her hands in front of her chest with an uncharacteristically sweet tone. "Thank you so much! You're too kind. It looks great!"

"Good—"

"Hey!" Usopp yelled, getting up in Sanji's face. "Don't forget to apologize to us too, Casanova!"

Unbothered, Sanji held up a steaming cup of tea. "This tea should do fine for you. In fact, you should be thanking me"

"WHAT?! You wanna fight? You're gonna regret this!" Usopp turned away, jutting a finger towards Sanji. "Get him, Zoro!"

Terra snickered as Zoro blandly replied, "You get him."

"Stop it," Nami whined, batting innocent eyelashes up to the blond man. "Please don't fight because of me!"

Sanji's eyes turned to hearts once more. "Of course, my dear," he swooned.

Usopp was still seething. "Who said it was about you!?"

Nami continued undeterred. "I wanted to tell you…"

"Yeah?"

"...that all of the food here is just delicious!" Nami's voice was sickeningly sweet as she reached up to brush her fingertips along Sanji's jaw. The man was all but drooling in her grasp. "But it's a little expensive for me…"

"Now it makes sense," Terra mumbled as she forked a single piece of fruit to shove in her mouth.

"Relax," Sanji said to Nami. "It's all free!"

Nami's arms were suddenly around his neck in a hug, making Sanji erupt into gleeful giggling. "Oh, thank you!"

"You're welcome!" he swooned, before his expression dropped as he remarked to Zoro, "You guys still gotta pay, though."

"How very generous of you," grumbled the swordsman in response. Usopp screeched unintelligibly.

Luffy laughed, the sound boisterous as usual. He stopped abruptly as Sanji swung at him, giving the back of his head a solid smack.

"What are you sitting around for?" he grumbled as he grabbed their captain beneath his arm. "You're not here to joke around."

As the remainder of the crew watched Luffy be dragged away by Sanji, Terra ripped a petal from her flower and placed it onto her tongue with a pleased hum. "Delicious."
