"I'm going to be honest," Kakashi began dryly, "your team dynamics are terrible." he pointed out bluntly, "Sakura-chan you don't even sneak attack anymore, I'm assuming that's because of the whole Meiyo domain your Kami has but please remember you're supposed to be a ninja." he explained, "Also, all of you keep trying to fight your enemy one on one, your best team efforts are when you're outnumbered. Which is why we're taking a bandit flushing mission."
"That's a lot of skulls." Sakura said, tail wagging at the prospect of killing so many bandits. Her sensei was a little concerned that the happiest the girl had been since being marked months ago was at the promise of being allowed to kill.
Sasuke looked a little annoyed, oddly enough, Kakashi assumed he was working on some new jutsu again, "Can I bring Yukimaru-chan as a safety measure?" he asked, Haku appearing with a Konoha Oinin mask decorated with the icon of Slaanesh. He'd also apparently elected to dress like a geisha, Kakashi was concerned by this since he pulled it off well despite the mask.
The jonin considered it, "Alright, but Sakura-chan gets first dibs on any nukenin." he agreed to the surprise of his students, mostly because the kunoichi needed the help.
Sasuke sighed, "Oh come on, she has more boons than I do." he complained, this was a lie.
"Liar." Maemi accused bluntly, calling him out, the Uchiha didn't even react to the accusation or the glares.
Kakashi sighed, "Sasuke-kun, would you share with the class the boons you have gained?" he asked dryly.
"Larger chakra reserves, apparently my intellect improved, according to Aoki my neurons are faster as if that makes any sense, and uh," Sasuke listed confidently until he hesitated and showed that his arms and legs were far more prehensile, twisting them around to prove it, "I guess some boons are pretty similar to Orochimaru's body modifications." he mused, "Also I can do this now." he added and suddenly stepped apart, his body shifting bizzarely before their eyes as his mass shifted.
Curiously whatever magic it was duplicated his clothes and equipment too, making Kakashi think of Kage Bunshin but there was a clear difference. Namely both the Sasuke were much shorter than the original, "We're both still Sasuke Uchiha," one of them spoke, "but we can focus on different things easier, training in these bodies is useless unfortunately." the other explained, "We don't have enough control for doing it for long." the first one continued before they appropriately merged.
Sasuke winced and shook his head, "Not useful for studying either, but having two sets of hands and a pair of keirakukei to spam ninjutsu sounds good to me." he finished, knowing hiding his growing boons further was pointless.
"When did you get to kill so many worthy foes!" Naruto exclaimed, surprised by the number of hidden addition.
"Patrol missions." Sasuke answered bluntly, "They don't pay great but we are at war technically. We're mostly on the defensive because we don't really know where Orochimaru's village is." he explained.
Naruto pouted, he'd gone on patrols and gotten nothing, so he wondered how many patrols Sasuke had gone on, "Naru-chan don't pout," Kakashi scolded, "you have two pairs of horns, and I don't need an Imp of my own to know that's significant." he pointed out.
"Very significant." Maemi agreed, "Generally even without horns, if a Daemon likes what you're doing they should be happy to help a marked champion." she explained, "Even the right Greater Daemon might help these kids if the circumstances are right, but more powerful Daemons are more individualistic. The horns are a symbol though, not a guarantee, even a particularly willful Daemonette who has particular power for being a favored handmaiden herself might decide to test if she's favored enough to get away with disobeying Naruto-sama even now."
Kakashi found that concerning, a disobedient Daemon sounded particularly dangerous. Naruto had gone from pouting to smug and ending in confusion, the fact a Daemon might disobey him had never occurred to him, "Well, given the nature of the mission and the new boons of Sasuke-kun's I'd like to teach him and Naru-chan a new ninjutsu before we leave tomorrow." he said instead, "Sorry, Sakura-chan, but your chakra reserves are probably still too low for this." he explained.
The jutsu had a unique hand sign, and cut heavily into chakra, but it should be fine for Naruto and Sasuke. Predictably Sasuke learned it first that afternoon, surprisingly to Kakashi Naruto learned it soon after. The jonin was proud of them both, and himself, he did warn Sasuke not to overuse it too much and explained how it functioned as a scouting jutsu.
Naruto had some trouble understanding and Kakashi was about to try a more physical lesson of just showing him when Sasuke spoke up, "I could have my bunshin read while I physically train." he mused, having it put like that Naruto understood the benefits immediately.
"I'm gonna go train some more!" Naruto exclaimed, baffling his team with his seemingly limitless stamina before he made fifty nine kage bunshin. Kakashi wondered at the specific number, then he realized that with Naruto in the mix that was sixty blonde horned heads. The jonin didn't get the big deal Naruto had with numerology lately, apparently Shino had recently become obsessive about the number seven in a similar manner.
Kakashi had actually assumed three was Nurgle's number, given the symbol, but he supposed he didn't have an Imp in his head or bound to him to explain things.
The next morning genin cell seven were waiting for Kakashi, wondering how late he would be, when Shizune showed up to their surprise. Naruto was happy to see the woman anyway, "Shizune-chan! Can I learn iryo ninjutsu?" he asked, surprising the woman. Sasuke and Sakura were surprised as well, his chakra control was notoriously bad.
The dark haired woman frowned, "Uh, that might not be a good idea." she warned, "Your chakra control is pretty bad, even messing up a chakra scalpel you could accidentally cut your own tendons or blood vessels. Shosen Jutsu is Inton chakra too, which you might have trouble with." she added.
Naruto pouted, "Please? I want to be Shinobi no Kanpeki so I should know how to heal too, right?" he asked, mostly he just wanted to know every discipline of being a shinobi and master them all. He had learned a normal genjutsu from Hinata, but he still had difficulty with that despite practicing with kage bunshin.
Shizune sighed, "Call me sensei and I'll consider teaching you some iryojutsu." she agreed, figuring she'd force him to study the basics while working on his chakra control to see how much he really wanted it.
"Sensei-chan!" Naruto decided on with a grin, he barely considered it at all and even he knew it was not the correct way to address a sensei.
The iryo kunoichi snorted at the overly affectionate blonde, "Alright, I'll consider it while we're out on this mission." she decided with an amused smirk.
Sakura looked confused, "We?" she asked, confused.
Shizune realized immediately, "Kakashi-san didn't tell you that he was going on an S rank mission late last night so I was in charge of you for this mission?" she asked and all three genin shook their heads, "That man is a menace." she grumbled with a shake of her head, "Well this is my first B rank mission since my injury, but I've been told Sakura-chan will handle any enemy nukenin and that you two would probably deal with everything else yourselves." she explained.
Naruto grinned proudly, "Yeah my magnificent self is pretty awesome y'know." he bragged happily with a smug and pleased expression. Sakura rolled her eyes at the preening blonde hermaphrodite.
Naruto vaguely recalled traveling the same road he was on during his Uzushio treasure hunt mission, he was pretty sure he knew what bandits they were going after. As soon as he realized this he lost interest in the mission immediately and zoned out, because from his memory those bandits were cowards.
"Naruto-kun are you listening?" Shizune asked, snapping it out of his fugue by directly addressing him.
"Huh? No, not really, I was thinking about how nice Haku-chan smells." Naruto answered, confusing Shizune and his team until Haku hopped down to stand by the blonde. This reminded Sasuke and Sakura that the pretty boy was on the mission too, startling the Uchiha in particular with his stealth and the fact Naruto had been aware of him the whole time.
"Naruto-san, please refer to me as Yukimaru-san for the mission and while I am in the mask." Haku reminded professionally and gently.
Naruto laughed, "Oh yeah, sorry, Yukimaru-chan!" he replied carelessly. The masked pretty boy didn't show it, but he was amused by the blonde's antics.
Shizune understood now but was still annoyed with the genin for not paying attention, "I said, we need to find the bandit camp, so you and Sasuke-kun should send some Kage Bunshin scouting, I can't do it one handed yet." she reiterated, her confident usage of the word yet indicating she was likely working on it.
Naruto nodded and made five kage bunshin, Sasuke attempted to make as many as he could to compare and was surprised to only make two. Aoki pointed out he should have used Juin and the Uchiha mentally retorted that it would defeat the purpose, which just confused the Imp until he realized Sasuke was trying to compare to Naruto's obscene chakra reserves.
The fact that the Uchiha could not compare even with his reserves being enhanced by Tzeentch was irritating for Sasuke, who was realizing just how big of a deal having a Chakra no Bakemono was. This also made him think Itachi was after Naruto for exactly that kind of power, something Sasuke did not intend to let happen.
Sakura could use reptilian hound Daemons for tracking, but with Naruto around there wasn't much point. The blonde seemed quite proud of his abilities as usual, but in particular he was starting to like how well he could hunt people. Soon enough Naruto looked towards the bandit camp, "One of my bunshin found it." he informed, "Follow me!" he insisted, taking charge despite a jonin being present.
Shizune was tempted to scold him but had been about to have him lead the way anyway, she did have questions before they arrived though, "How many? Is there anyone strong?" she asked curiously as she followed with Sasuke and Sakura.
"Like a hundred I guess, I can't really sense chakra or gauge power y'know." Naruto answered with a shrug, "I can get a sense for how dangerous someone is when they level killing intent on me, but I can't figure it out before that." he explained.
"One of my bunshin found it too," Sasuke spoke up, "four of them have actually developed keirakukei which hints at shinobi training." he informed, "Strongest one physically is this old dude with a nodachi of all things, the other three are closer to Shizune in age and all have varying amounts of ninjato, weird thing is the old guy has a Kumo hitai-ate while the other three are Kiri." he explained.
Shizune was confused by that, until he mentioned the symbols they wore she'd begun to assume it was an old jonin and his genin cell gone rogue together for some reason. The woman thought about it as they landed on branches close enough to see that it was a basic bandit camp with well over a hundred thugs.
It took the jonin a moment to pick out who Sasuke had been talking about, "So Sakura-chan gets the big guy?" Naruto asked with a pout, he wanted to test his new katana against the nodachi of the tall dark skinned man with white hair. The aged shinobi was wrinkled and balding, but his tall and lean build still had muscle to it, but he looked like he was blind. Oddly he was shirtless besides a white haori and barefoot with black pants that were tattered towards the feet.
The old Kumo nukenin was sitting at a campfire, listening to two young men talk at him while a kunoichi watched. The two young men both had filed teeth, and one of them looked related to Kisame. The more normal looking one had auburn hair and green eyes, with three ninjato strapped to his left hip and a rather standard uniform minus a flak jacket with the sleeves of his shirt ripped off, his hitai-ate was stitched to an arm warmer on his left arm as a makeshift shield.
The likely Hoshigaki carried two ninjato across his back, he had black hair in a top knot and was much smaller than Kisame, and while he was dressed similarly his uniform was undamaged with his flak jacket actually on instead of missing although it was open, his hitai-ate was just resting in his lap and not tied to his person. The kunoichi had white hair and green eyes, with a single ninjato, she was dressed in a grey pinstripe kimono with navy blue trim and looked bored with whatever her two fellow Kiri nukenin were discussing, her hitai-ate was on her forehead.
"I can have the girl right?" Naruto asked eagerly, he clearly thought she was pretty.
"Naruto-kun please stop taking kunoichi as spoils of war, it'll turn into a bad reputation." Shizune scolded, not wanting the blonde to end up similar to Jiraiya. Although it was a bit late for that in some ways, they both clearly enjoyed kabuki and women.
Haku landed on the tree branch behind them, "The fishman is a Hoshigaki, but we're far enough in land that it shouldn't matter too much. The two males have filed their teeth, according to, uh, my sources, that's a ritual to join the Kiri no Shinobigatana Shichinin Shu, but I doubt either of them are actually apprenticed to an existing member, and they're not aligned with the Mizukage for certain so it's likely an attempt at claiming the titles for themselves." he explained at length, "I have no idea about the other two." he added.
Shizune pulled out a bingo book, checking to see if any of them were in there but just not very famous. The jonin made a note that she should probably just study the faces, but couldn't find any of them except for what looked like a younger version of the Kumo jonin. She frowned as she read it over, "Sakura-chan, that man is Kay, known as Ken no Kireme for his ability to cut through other peoples swords." she explained in warning, "He was A rank in his prime." she added.
Sakura considered it, she'd actually been thinking of picking the white haired girl just because Naruto wanted her but hearing how dangerous the old man was had her blood pumping, "A worthy foe then." she decided, pulling out her Daemon shield. The kunoichi was confident he wouldn't be able to cut the Daemon infused round metal shield.
"I'm capturing the girl!" Naruto insisted a little too eagerly, Sasuke shook his head at the blonde who seemed to have a one track mind. Shizune was equally exasperated, as she looked over the other two young men.
The Uchiha had already decided though, "I'll grill the fish." he announced, Sakura thought that was a cool line but was clearly the only one who thought so. Sasuke was more concerned that the girl wasn't hiding how cool she thought it was, even he didn't think it was that cool. Genkei looked exasperated with his masters infatuation with who he viewed as a rival champion.
Shizune frowned, looking at the young man with three swords, "Yukimaru-san, could you take out the bandits while we deal with the shinobi?" she requested, mostly because with only one arm she was best focusing on one enemy so none of the genin got outnumbered. Kakashi had informed her of how the Konton no Ninso were basically religiously required to fight challenges, an odd stipulation for a shinobi but the iryonin had seen the benefits first hand.
Haku nodded, "Give me a moment to set up then," he requested, "once you see my mirrors surround the camp take that as your signal to attack your chosen targets." he informed, disappearing with a shunshin as soon as Shizune nodded confirmation.
Naruto unsheathed his new ninjato from his back, eager to test it against the older kunoichi although he didn't really want to cut her up too much. Sasuke shifted his bo staff to his left hand and pulled out a kunai with runes etched along the blade, making his team curious about what had been done to it.
Sakura readied her axe, attaching chakra threads along it so she could manipulate it's trajectory when she threw it. Shizune pulled out a tanto of her own, double checking the blade and lamenting she'd have a lack of reach as well as only having one arm against her opponent. She wished Naruto would be a bit more considerate, but she didn't want to seem weak by pointing it out. In a way it felt like the blonde had confidence she would be fine, so she wasn't too upset.
Soon enough mirrors of ice surrounded the camp and Shizune leaped in alongside Kakashi's genin cell, Haku already had started disabling basic bandits. The nukenin group were all on guard in the instant, except the old man who stood more slowly and leisurely drew his blade with an odd calm.
"Ken no Kireme, fight me!" Sakura insisted, lifting her shield as she pointed her axe at him.
The Kiri nukenin all looked confused, then Naruto was on the kunoichi, "Hi! You're pretty so please be strong enough to dodge this!" he greeted, startling the young woman as he swung his ninjato. The white haired kunoichi dodged and lashed out with her own blade, "What's your name?" the blonde asked casually as he evaded.
The other two Kiri nukenin were startled, but moved to interfere. Sasuke intercepted the Hoshigaki with his staff and Sharingan, but was quickly on the defense with his bo in his left hand. The fact he wasn't using his kunai yet was odd enough for everyone to notice. Shizune had intercepted the other one, and was baffled that he was holding one weapon in his teeth. Doing so was not uncommon when a swordsman needed both hands for a long range attack of some kind, but the auburn haired young man was actively trying to use the sword in his mouth with his neck muscles.
Shizune was annoyed to note it was barely effective, clearly the intent of his style was to cut aside guards and deliver the finishing blow with the ninjato in his mouth. However his neck muscles were not nearly developed enough so Shizune was thankfully able to dodge each attempt.
Sakura stared down her opponent, "Someone challenged me by that old name?" Kay asked with a raised eyebrow, "Sounded like a little kid too, you hoping for an easy bounty from a tired old man?" he asked and the kunoichi felt a little bad for picking the man, "Well you'll have to come at me then, I can't rightly see y'see." he explained with an odd smirk, clearly amused despite the situation.
The pink haired kunoichi frowned but charged in, she'd issued her challenge and he'd technically accepted. She had her shield raised as she leaped, her axe swung at the neck of the old shinobi but to her alarm her attack was parried aside by the edge of the nodachi against her arm. Her mesh han kote protected her brass skin but the blind old man adapted his parry and the girl found herself pinned by her right arm to the ground, then Kay flowed Raiton chakra down his weapon and really pinned her arm there.
Naruto danced with his opponent, clearly enjoying himself much to the white haired kunoichi's annoyance, "You have the Kiba, and you're using a ninjato against me?" she asked with narrowed eyes, "You're matching the weapon I have despite having multiple blades that would potentially give you an edge, are you mocking me?" she queried in an offended tone as she grew frustrated with being unable to hit the young blonde, who was just grinning despite the situation.
Shizune frowned in concern for Sakura but needed to focus on her own fight, her opponent was alarmingly good with using three swords despite his handicap of only having two arms. Then he grew two more arms and the jonin was startled as they started doing hand signs, wondering why he didn't just wield his third ninjato with one of them, or even get a fourth. Finally she realized that the new arms had sleeves as an entire other head and torso emerged and launched a blast of water from his mouth at Shizune, who was so startled by the sudden reminder of the battle where she lost her left arm that she was hit dead center and knocked away to land on her back.
Sasuke noticed his bo was starting to take damage and figured it was time to step his game up, "Orenji-en." he said and orange flames ignited his staff, curiously not burning his hand. The Hoshigake assumed it was an offensive jutsu and pulled back to better evade if necessary, but instead the wood turned to black iron as it burned. The new weapon was heavier, but the Uchiha also pulled back and flowed chakra into his kunai, the runes glowed red as he tossed it towards his opponents leg.
Genkei charged at Kay as the man crouched down and tugged at the axe in Sakura's hand, "Good grip." he praised the girl before slamming his right knee to her fingers, tugging it free and using the flame shaped peen to parry the charging Imp's attack and ramming the axe into his torso, following through on the swing and launching Genkei flying back, "Sturdy little pet you got there." he praised when the Imp didn't die or disappear.
"Not mocking you." Naruto tried to assure with a frown, "My magnificent self just wanted to see how compatible we are!" he added cheerfully, prompting an eye twitch from the older kunoichi. Naruto found it fascinating that she had white hair despite looking only Shizune or Anko's age, and decided it was beautiful. His lack of lethal intent and ability to match her was starting to annoy the young woman further, "So you have a name, or should I just call you beautiful?" the blonde asked casually, throwing the kunoichi off her rhythm and angering her further when he didn't take the opening.
Shizune rolled to her feet in time to dodge a swing from her opponents, "How are you doing that!?" she cried out in alarm, frantically dodging swinging ninjato. Now that one of them was halfway out she could see subtle differences between them, the sleeveless one had bigger arms and the other one had not filed his teeth, but both were the same confident smirk.
The Hoshigaki had dodged the kunai, but when it impacted the ground it exploded suddenly and violently, burning his left pants leg, damaging his left sandal, and burning his lower left leg and foot harshly despite the dodge. Sasuke spun his bo above his head with a confident smirk as his four tomoe spun in his eye, his Sharingan still in it's base, red state. The Uchiha entered a flamingo stance by lifting his left leg, using the bird claw to gesture for his opponent to come at him.
Genkei growled as he picked himself up, tearing his master's axe from his torso and leaving behind a rent in his armor that oozed molten brass, "I am her Akui!" he declared, charging at the blind old man. To Sakura's shock the aged shinobi performed one handed hand signs, revealing a depth of ninjutsu mastery not expected from the apparent kenjutsu specialist. The man thrust his hand towards the charging Malice and Raiton chakra burst out, cracking through the ground hard enough to tear it up as it arced towards and into Genkei, dispelling the Imp after a few moments.
"I'll show you compatible you annoying blonde little bimbo!" The white haired kunoichi snapped, palming a hidden tanto and trying to catch Naruto in between swings, "Cow tits!" she added and the horned blonde realized belatedly that his chest was actually even bigger than the girls. Even Sakura was bigger than this woman, the genin felt a twinge of sympathy for the woman, thinking he understood her a little more. In reality she was just throwing out random insults, "Horned witch! Hengeyokai bitch! Usurper of swords! Wishy washy peace addict! You stink like crotch sweat! I will let this camp run a train on you when I catch you!" Naruto felt like he understood the woman a little better with each insult.
"We're from the Uoza clan, heard that I might be the last one." The young man with the sharpened teeth said as his twin slipped back into his body, "But you know how it is with twins, you think one gets away and there's actually two." he added with an amused chuckle, "You seem alarmed? Met a relative of mine? We were kind of dwindling before the purges, so that's surprising. Not every Uoza was born twins either, which was a damn shame." he explained with a sigh and a shake of his head, "Because he can hide in my well built body," he continued with a flex, "Aniki can focus purely on ninjutsu, and I can focus on kenjutsu! Perfect team up!" the twin shinobi bragged confidently, Shizune was just wondering how much he had to practice talking with a sword in his mouth to explain that so well.
The Hoshigaki sighed and charged at Sasuke, flowing chakra over his body. The Uchiha hadn't expected chakra nagashi, but swung his now iron staff with surprising ease for how much it should weigh. He was surprised when his opponent caught the weapon on his right wrist, the chakra flow acting as some kind of defensive armor so the older shinobi who was not that much taller than Sasuke could swing his ninjato in his left hand at the Uchiha.
"Very sturdy friend you had there, but now what?" Kay asked Sakura afting giving Genkei some more praise upon finding out it was a summon, "Why challenge me? You're lucky I haven't cut your neck." he asked before pointing out why she should answer. Sakura just growled and lifted herself up to her knees, lifting her pinned right arm by sliding it up the blade and with a twist she broke his sword against her own arm with her shield. The blind old man was visibly surprised by this development and swung at her neck with Raiton chakra flowing through was was left of his blade, a tanto sized portion of the sword slipped from Sakura's arm as she blocked the strike with her shield and grabbed the falling blade in her right hand.
"You're beautiful." Naruto insisted in a flirty tone, enjoying playing with the kunoichi. The woman just looked more offended as she kept trying to do everything she could to hit her horned young opponent, but the genin was simply too fast and could hear the Tatakainouta clearly. To Naruto he really was just dancing with a beautiful woman at this point, already planning on taking her home.
Shizune attempted Dokugiri, but to her surprise the ninjutsu specialist Uoza knew Toppa and sent it right back at her, forcing her to hold her breath and leap away as she exhaled sharply through her nose. She made a mental note to tell Shino about this fight so she could tell him not to use flesh melting Dokugiri until he had Kage Bunshin, but she was on the defensive again. Worse the ninjutsu specialist displayed aptitude for Doton no Jutsu, trapping her movements with raised stone walls so the kenjutsu specialist could attack better.
Sasuke tried to analyze his opponent with Sharingan, but even with four tomoe it couldn't tell what was happening. So he poured more chakra into it as his coruscating Juin marks slid up the right side of his face, the Sharingan turning gold and his tomoe glowing blue, "Suiton chakra nagashi," the Uchiha intoned, surprising his opponent with the accuracy, "so that's how it works. Flowing Suiton chakra over the body gives you some shock absorption." he mused curiously.
Sakura overheard that and was curious as she backed off and tossed the broken piece of blade she'd caught, the blind man knocked it aside and had a curious expression. He was wondering about her shield now, when she decided to answer his question, "I am Sakura Haruno, Budo no Ninso!" the pink haired girl announced as she picked up her axe and raised her right hand quickly after she did, the thrown and deflected blade shifting momentum as she twitched her index finger up, "That's all the reason I need!" she declared as she swung her right arm, still holding holding the axe, down and clenched her index finger while extending her middle finger to tug the chakra threads to send the flying broken blade to the old man.
Naruto continued to dance with his opponent until he suddenly sliced through her guard, tapping the flat of his blade against her neck to prove a point with a grin, "One point to me!" he announced and the woman looked furious, swinging her ninjato again at him. However she was not blindly furious and started taking more risks, taking advantage of Naruto's lack of desire to harm her in order to press an assault and abandoned bothering to defend.
Shizune dived away from her opponent, rolling off her left shoulder but thrown off balance by the earth shifting beneath her from whatever Doton no Jutsu her opponent within her opponent used. The kunoichi was getting a few cuts from her disadvantage against her opponent, thankfully shallow and her flak jacket was helping to protect her. She put her tanto in her own mouth, making her opponent smirk even as she did one handed signs, "Not bad, girly." he praised, more amused than anything as he was still confident of his advantage as the woman readied a chakra scalpel.
The Hoshigaki was impressed by Sasuke's dojutsu, but kept on the offense, "That eye of yours, how about I have it if I kill you, yeah?" he asked with a grin. Sasuke took offense to that and his bo suddenly burst into flames, the iron transmuting into a steel naginata that he swung violently as his golden eye ignited with yellow flames. The Hoshigaki regret voicing his desire almost immediately, forced on the defense by Sasuke's suddenly enhanced predictive abilities, "Seems you got some weird chakra nagashi yerself." the fishy man mused, having fun despite the danger.
Kay looked a little annoyed, "Ninso? You? Now that's a damned insult, sacrilegious, Ojochan." he scolded with a shake of his head as he parried the spinning blade coming at him easily despite his ocular handicap, "Damn fool." he added as the girl charged again, and as he parried her axe down she swung her shield at his wrists to disarm him. Instead he disarmed her, an arcing swing of his blade with Raiton chakra nagashi severed her arm at the elbow. Much to his surprise this did not halt her and her axe swung at his wrists, only to clang against his hardened skin, flowing with Doton chakra.
Shizune was concerned and alarmed to notice Sakura suffer the same crippling injury she had, but was stunned that the girl kept going despite it, the pink haired girl looking more enraged than scared or in pain. So taken aback Shizune was struck deeper, she started to feel a creeping despair and tried to squash it, she clung to hope until she remembered what Naruto said about that. The woman realized she admired Naruto despite his paradoxical mentality, and tried to resolve this paradox for herself, trying to analyze it but detaching herself from the fight mentally to do so was not an option and her conflicting feelings were causing her to lose more ground against her well coordinated opponents.
Naruto frowned at Sakura's injury, deciding he should try to hurry up. He wouldn't interfere, but when Sakura had clearly lost he'd issue his own challenge. She'd probably take a blow to her pride but Naruto would prefer she be angry than dead, "Shibari no Ashikase." he intoned, flaring his chakra pink to capture his opponent, "Sorry, you're fun to dance with we should do it more at home, but I need to be ready so uh, sorry." he said, sheathing his sword and performing hand seals as he approached the woman and hit her with the genjutsu Hinata learned from Kurenai and taught to him.
Sasuke tuned out what was happening around him, focusing himself for a minor Mahojutsu and thanking his Kami for the powers he was learning. The Uchiha teleported behind his opponent, jikukan ninjutsu, not speed. The Hoshigaki was surprised to lose sight of his opponent and narrowly evaded being stabbed, getting a shallow cut instead of a deep wound thanks to his Suiton chakra nagashi. The dual wielding swordsman expected his opponent to teleport again but instead his naginata ignited with orange flames, the blade shifting into a very strangely shaped halberd, the same symbol as Sasuke's Juin, the icon of Tzeentch.
Kay knocked Sakura off balance by lifting his arms and kicked her away, swinging his arms back down. Thanks to losing some of the length of his blade she kept her left leg, but his Raiton chakra infused blade cut through her leg guard and left a deep cut on the inner of her left shin. The Kumo nukenin noticed something impressive though, "You know chakra nagashi at your age?" he asked, surprised by Sakura's chakra control. The kunoichi didn't answer and instead spun to her right as she landed to roll off her good shoulder, she threw her axe as she came up in a crouch, the spinning blade going for his legs and a hail of brass thorns from her right elbow going for the old man's eyes.
Shizune had been stunned further by Naruto's genjutsu, realizing it probably was possible for him to learn iryo ninjutsu. She wasn't faring well with so many shocking distractions, and her opponents similarity to an underling of the young man who took her left arm had her slightly hyperventilating. Finally she landed a blow, tapping the back of the kenjutsu specialist's left wrist with her right hand, the chakra scalpel severing his tendons there and forcing him to drop the sword held in that hand. Shizune grabbed it and swung at her opponent's neck, only to be stunned as he somehow blocked it with his mouth held sword, grabbed her only arm with his left hand by the elbow and thrust the ninjato in his right hand at her.
Naruto's sword intercepted, his last opponent having a siezure from his genjutsu that he may have put a bit too much chakra into. The blonde grinned as he forced the opponent Shizune was having trouble with back with one ninjato. The jonin watched in stunned disbelief, the one who had been her opponent taking his sword out of his mouth and into his left hand before his brother placed a kunai between his teeth. The young green eyed man looked enraged, "You! You're that brat with the Raito!" he declared angrily, "That's mine by right damn it!" he lied.
The symbol Sasuke held suddenly ignited with pink flames, "Tankoshoku-en." he intoned, surprising Naruto who knew the name of Anko's Muse. The flames shot out with a swing of his halberd-like stave, roiling along the ground like a flaming gas as they exanded outwards in an acute cone towards his target. The Hoshigaki did not fancy the thought of being flame grilled by such an attack, but was baffled by Sasuke using all this esoteric ninjutsu without hand seal kata. The fishy man with two swords dodged, the pink flames catching his legs as he rolled away but oddly enough the flames didn't hurt.
The Kumo nukenin hopped up to avoid the thorns hitting his eyes and when Sakura used her chakra threads to send her spinning axe up after him he parried that aside as he landed, "You ain't too bright y'see." he scolded, "Smart thing to do here is to run away and hope I don't catch you, had to do it myself once when I pissed off Sandaime Raikage-sama." he reminisced, although not fondly at all, "Difference between me and him in my prime is about the difference between you and me know y'see." he lectured calmly.
Naruto didn't care to keep alive the twins like he did his unconscious former opponent, and flowed Futon chakra into his ninjato as he swung. The blade reacted powerfully and released a gust of compressed air that sent his new opponent back and off guard. The ninjutsu specialist emergerged from his twin's shoulders as they had some distance, and shot a Suidan at Naruto who formed a Rasengan in his left hand to destroy it. The Uoza twins were stunned to have both of their specialties matched by one ninja, especially as young as Naruto.
The Hoshigaki wondered what the point of flames that didn't burn was, when Sasuke's flaming icon turned red, "Taiju Aka-en!" the Uchiha declared as his Juin flared across his visible skin glowing every color in an odd dancing tattoo light show. This time Sasuke shot many bolts of red flame into the air above his opponent, who wondered how the Uchiha had missed so badly until they all altered direction and sped up, homing in on his legs.
Shizune moved to help Sakura, sheathing her tanto and taking the ninjato with her to team up with her fellow Konoha kunoichi, but was surprised when the Budo no Ninso glared, "Butt out! This is my challenge!" she insisted angrily, molten blood dripping from her arm as she struggled to focus her anger into her chakra. Her Suiton chakra nagashi was imperfect, it didn't work yet, but she had her axe and the boons Khorne had given her. The fire in her pupils was glowing brightly, and her killing intent towards the Kumo nin was surprising to the man.
Naruto grabbed the Kiba blade from his left shoulder with his left hand as he leaped towards his sword focused opponent, Maemi tying up his latest spoil of war now that the poor woman had stopped siezing up. Against Naruto's speed and chakra to the twins didn't stand much chance, and were soon stabbed through both hearts as Naruto could hear their heartbeats. Kakashi was right, he would have been the perfect match for Sakon and Ukon.
The Hoshigaki tried to dodge but the flames followed, burning and striking his legs with alarming kinetic force for a thermal attack. Sasuke threw another volley and the Kiri nukenin still standing sheathed his swords and weaved hand signs, unleashing a Suijinheki from mouth to display impressive chakra reserves. This was the correct defence as the red bolts sizzled in the water, much to Sasuke's annoyance.
"Ya ain't normal, Ojochan." Kay said as the girl caught her axe, having flicked her arm with the chakra threads to make the weapon jump into her hand, "I'm impressed, but what is up?" he asked as Sakura tried to focus on her chakra nagashi, the Suiton chakra coating her body had steam rising from it, and it bubbled at her injuries, "Kids these days ain't right y'see." the old man muttered to himself as he lowered his stance.
Naruto cleaned off his blades and turned to watch his teammates fight as he sheathed the Kiba blade, keeping his ninjato out just in case. Shizune was stunned at how the genin of cell seven acted under such conditions, she'd have died without Naruto. The woman frowned at her weakness, feeling strange to outrank someone who was straight better at combat than her even if he wasn't crippled like she was.
Sasuke teleported across the distance and thrust the pointed icon of his weapon to stab the older ninja in the stomach, his left hand snaking out to coil and grapple his opponents arms to stop him from getting his weapons out, "Aka-daikadan!" he announced and a blast of red flames ripped through the Hoshigaki ninja. The Uchiha smirked at his victory only to be started by a pair of large wings burst from his back and ruined his shirt, they had blue-black feathers and felt strong.
All eyes were now on Sakura's fight and the girl charged only to halt, swinging her left stump and pushing a blast of her chakra desperately. Thanks to her chakra control she was able to send a shot of her blood at the man, her molten life fluid unfortunately hardened and cooled by going through her Suiton chakra, but suprisingly her chakra turned to steam and propelled her hardened iron blood like a flak shot. The Kumo nukenin stumbled back in surprise, his Doton chakra nagashi stopping the makeshift projectiles from piercing his skin.
Then Sakura did it again and lanched some thorns with a similar burst of steaming Suiton chakra, Kay dodged to the side and Sakura threw her axe at his legs. Her chakra became a burst of steam again, throwing off her aim but allowing the weapon the strength and speed to cut the outer of old man's right leg. It did however also break her chakra threads, but it gave her an idea and she palmed a kunai as she permored a chakra enhanced leap.
With two bursts of steam, one to launch the kunoichi and one to propel her kunai into the man's neck. It worked to a degree, but Sakura's grip slipped as did her focus. It didn't matter though, the kunoichi was on top of her opponent, molten blood dripping from her wounds, including a cut on her right palm. The kunai in Kay's neck had not sunk deep enough to be an instant kill, but the molten liquid being smeared into his face was too much for his chakra nagashi and he cried out in pain.
His cries were cut short, Sakura pressed her bleeding right hand to his lips and pinched his nose with fingers from the same hand as she slammed her hitai-ate against the kunai she had protruding from her opponents neck. The blade sunk deeper and his struggles ceased, the pink haired girl had won.
Shizune was only vaguely surprised when Sakura got a new left arm, with black talons and red leathery skin with patches of brass scales. The jonin wondered if the Kami were taunting her to try and get her to join them.

Naruto's mark of Slaanesh is a modified Fuin that holds the Kyubi, his first mutations were minor and cosmetic with his eyes and chakra changing color. The chakra has been explained as being influenced by Slaanesh's will overriding the fox. Naruto has animalistic legs of a deer's hind legs, but no fur and he can pur like an oversized cat, he has slit pupils, a mane, four horns in two pairs, fangs, bone spurs that haven't seen much use lately, venom glands, enhanced agility, enhanced senses, enhanced speed, and he has absorbed Hoshi chakra into his modified Fuin for his personal use. Most importantly he can hear the Tatakainouta, the song of battle that lets him predict enemy attacks and dance to them.
As far as clothing goes Maemi has encouraged Naruto to dress rather traditionally, wearing minimum armor. He has a mesh undershirt and leather arm guards that protect his wrist for armor, besides that wearing an orange kimono with his clan symbol inside the mark of Slaanesh, a white haori with the kanji for 'Excess' on the back, blue umanori hakama, and his usual blue sandals. He's carrying the Raito on his back in a harness, an Uzumaki katana with oxidised copper decorations on his left hip with a silver wakizashi of different origin, a similar Uzumaki ninjato on his back with a tachi more like the wakizashi.
Sasuke's mark of Tzeentch is his Juin, which is also where his Conjoined Familiar, Aoki hangs out. He has fused his Sharingan into a singular new dojutsu, which he has just been referring to as Sharingan as he doesn't have a better name. In his left socket rests another mark of Tzeentch on a golden prosthetic eyeball, he has taken to wearing a black version of his usual outfit but with pants and a half-cloak, although the left legs are tattered from him putting a bird claw as is his left foot through them. He has a feathered creast covering his forehead, the dark blue-black feathers emerging from his eyebrows to keep his bangs out of his eyes, and recently a pair of wings have grown.
The Uchiha has been secretive, but has displayed an array of Mahojutsu, including a short range space-time technique. Tzeentch is the god of magic after all, besides that his limbs are elastic, his chakra reserves boosted, his intelligence enhanced, and his brain is faster to help keep up with his new Sharingan. He can also multiply himself, but not much has been seen of this ability yet.
Shizune is missing her arm thanks to a fight with Kimimaro, and Kakashi hasn't had many visual boons. He has regeneration, fangs, and he's faster. Shizune still is not yet marked, but is growing motivated.
Hinata has electrical touch and a third arm coming out of her left shoulder, and dresses in a lavender jacket far more form fitting due to her boosted confidence compared to canon. The jacket bears the same symbol as Naruto's kimono on its single right sleeve, and she also wears long black rubber gloves.
Shino hides a lot but he can't hide the rhinoceros beetle horn, his insects are mutating and he's developing some powerful poisons and toxins. Mostly he looks the same, and it hasn't yet been seen much how differently he fights, but he knows how to turn his chakra into poison and exhale it.
Kiba got a metallic left arm that goes well with his clan's beast ninjutsu and Akamaru has grown a bit, but otherwise they're not too different.
Sakura's first 'boon' came with her mark, Blood Lust, a frenzied rage she's still learning to control. Visually subtle but everyone noticed something, it grants no strength boosts however, but does allow Sakura to fight in a frenzied state which suits her growing defensive abilities. Her blood is molten, she's been marked to her very soul with a contract with Khorne, a brass choker protects her from most ninjutsu, but apparently not chakra nagashi. She has a dog tail, brass skin, and thorns that can be thrown as makeshift weapons.
Sakura has focused mostly on physical feats, but her chakra control has allowed her use of chakra threads. She can perform a few Suiton no Jutsu and has been working on Karyudan she didn't get to show this fight. Generally she is the most heavily armored, wearing pauldrons, breastplate, mesh gauntlets, and even leg guards. Her newest mutation is something we'll cover next time.
