Fairy Tail Origins Parva Alliance AU

Chapter Sixteen: The Royal Meeting of the Incident.

It had been three days since the incident that had taken down the two guild leaders of Divinus Magia. Since then Wolf's Claw had concluded its investigation and was searching for the masterminds. Meanwhile the royals that had been in attendance had decided to stay at the palace for a while longer before returning home.

They had also invited their old friends from their little club to stay at the palace as well. Having known that they would hear of the incident they decided to invite them to the palace to reassure them that they were safe and sound.

It was 7:00am that morning, and the club had already long since arrived having spent the previous night at the palace. Their plan was to talk about the events of the incident over breakfast. Following that Steve would be addressing the media of the kingdom and explaining what happened and what was being done to address the matter.

Steve and Carly sat in their palace family dining room with their two families. The children sat at the other end of the table talking about their final years at school. While the year was mostly peaceful aside from the investigations into their family lives and the possible location of the illegitimate former rulers and the negotiations into the state of the alliance the line of succession to the now empty thrones. They also had many good times to help relax before heading into their adult lives.

However now came the time for them to talk about what happened and what to do about it. Afterall if Jonathan was finally showing signs of activity then the others were surely not to far behind. Not to mention that this was the second time in the last six months that activity had been seen from him. The fact that there was so much time between the two definitely meant that there was a plan in the works and being rulers this time around meant that they had to be the ones to prepare for and take care of it if he and his colleagues came after them.

"I think we all know the reason why we're here right now." Steve started after he got everyone's attention. "The former illegitimate king, Jonathan Lockhart of Druivell, has been sighted two times recently. Based on his activity it seems like he's planning something involving the royal families of Minecraftia and Atlantide. It's possible the rest of the illegitimate rulers might appear soon as well. We need to start planning now to make sure that they won't be able to do much harm to our families."

Ropo nodded in agreement with Steve's statement. "He's right last time they nearly destroyed the Magiclica royal family. Has most of you know Ally worked in their palace for a time before she uncovered Romona and Thomas's operations there." Ally frowned and nodded in agreement as well. She remembered the days she worked there. Seeing bruises on her friends sneaking them their schoolwork, food, and water when they were grounded and more. She would sometimes return home to her mother crying at the state of her friends. She was thankful that her mother understood that she couldn't talk about it until the investigation began.

It was Kelly that spoke next. "We should start by ensuring that we all have our family safety secured. That's what they went after last time so it's possible they might try that again." She remained in a soft but firm tone.

"I agree with Kelly on this one guys. They might even try and make us think they aren't going after them but they in reality they are. Reverse psychology you know?" Ally pointed out with a frown. In the years since they went there sperate ways Ally spent her time going to college and therapy. She was studying psychology hoping to get a PHD from Minecraftia university and was so far projected to graduate at the top of her class.

"Ally's right guys, you remember how Remona and Thomas took over our childhood kingdom right? We can't have that happen again." Carly nodded in agreement with her old friend. Voices of agreement comes from the rest of her friends.

"I've saved a portion of the schools budget since I became headmaster just in case of a scenario just like this one. I'll hire more security at my school to make sure that no one gets in without someone noticing. The school board still doesn't know how Ramona and Jonathan snuck in those last few times but now that they're active again the school board wants both schools and the school's daycare to up security at all three locations. Since none of the other schools have any royalty connected to the illegitimate rulers my school will upping security higher than the rest. I will be talking to Angelo Walker, the new head of security at the school about hiring more guards and implementing more security systems." Scott supplied with a smile, hoping to reassure his students that all would be well.

Scott was a man in his late twenties. He had earned his teaching degree at the age of 14 years old like Steve had and had then apprenticed and became these children's homeroom teacher. He had green eyes with brown hair.

Throughout their time under his care, his students had many troubled days in what should have been the final years of their childhoods when they should have been chasing their dreams and finding themselves. Instead they were plagued with family drama that at times nearly put them in the hospital. In fact he currently held the world record for the most calls having to be made to CPS, a dubious honor that he hoped would never be broken. Thankfully in resent years that was not the case, but he still kept an eye on his currant students and his former students from that fateful year.

This year though, he would be supervising the education of his former student's younger siblings and adopted children. He hoped that they would find a safe place to turn to in case something happened at his school, which is why he had decided that when this year came around he was going to only have the most trusted members of his staff in charge of them.

"Good, we need to make sure that they can't go after the children easily. The sooner we have a plan the better off they will be. We should also be ready to put the royal reserves on alert then. All of our reserves actually would be a better idea. We should all raise security at our own palaces and homes has well." Donny smiled at the words of his former teacher.

"Donny's right, we should definitely prepare in case they try anything. I don't know if they'll try anything from last time, but they definitely will try new tactics. We need to get ready for whatever there planning now rather than when there in the middle of it." Ropo pointed out with a frown.

"What about Ritchie and Brandon, Steven, have you heard anything about them?" Ryan or Little Lizard inquired about the state of the two new royal guild leaders. The fact that they were poisoned at there inauguration party was concerning in of itself, but the facts that it had been planed for a while before hand, the event was held in one of the most secure places in Atlantide and that none of the people in charge of hiring staff members realized that the imposters were using fake ids was something that concerned everyone in the club greatly.

"So far they've been recovering well enough to maintain a low level of consciousness. Ritchie, Despite the fact that he had the higher dosage of poison between him, and his brother and family is still recovering faster. They have their whole guild on the island and have delayed all quests until they have recovered well enough to defend themselves. This should take no more then four months or so at best." Carly relayed what she heard from the messages that the guild sent them.

"We have also stationed guards on the island incase the masterminds behind the attack decide to try and send some people to the island and finish the job." Sharky informed his friends with a reassuring smile. On the day of the party Steve had ordered him to send people to the island to make sure that no dark guild tried to attack it before the guild returned home. Now those guards were stationed there for a different reason.

"That's good. But I think we should keep them there for a while longer. I heard some rumors that their parents were involved with this weren't they? They might try and take them and there sister back home and I heard that they have a restraining order on them that says they can't see them or speak to them." Donut, a brown skinned, black hair and brown eyed man mentioned with a frown.

"That's true Donut. They told me about that the day before my coronation. I don't know the full details, but I know that it was enough that they filed a record of order of protections once their aunt, uncle, cousin, and your younger sister came to live with them." Steve informed his fellow little club members. Today he wore his royal clothes which consisted of a light and dark blue suit with a matching dark blue cape and black trim throughout the outfit.

"In that case we should also make sure that they can't get into Atlantide without our knowledge. If they're working with the former rulers they might be able to use false ids to get in. Though they probably won't do that. From my conversation with Ambassador Elizabeth Baker they prefer to make their status known." Carly pointed out with a frown.

"Both are good points. We should wait and see what happens on that front. We don't know King Soren and his wife like we do Jonathan and them. So we should learn more about them first, then form a plan to deal with them later. Besides that team up they did could be a onetime thing anyways." Max Monkeyson pointed out with a frown.

"My thoughts exactly Max M. I wonder though, how long we're they are planning this? We know that it's been at least a few months but how many?" Bruno Bearson asked with a curious tone. The rest of the club including the younger ones had to admit that the bear loving man had a point. The identity of the royal guild leaders hadn't been revealed until the day of the interview and ceremony and it was clear that the people in charge of this operation knew before that time. So how did they find out? Was it one of the imposter staff members or guards. The ones that had been here for months had their rooms in the servant quarters searched top to bottom and no evidence that they had searched the area that the document for the orientation ceremony plans.

Carly's eyes widened in realization at that meant. While the area in front of the Grandmaster's office wasn't secured the office itself was. That could have only meant one thing alone. "Some in the Grandmaster's office is a treader." Head snapped her way to prompt for an explanation. "Think about it, there was no sign of forced entry at the Grandmaster's Office and the place was secured to the maximum until the end of the night. If someone were to break in between the day that the announcement of a new royal guild was made and the inauguration day, the security would have noticed."

"Oh my gosh guys, she right. The guards would have noticed someone breaking in. So it would have to be someone that they wouldn't think too much about entering the office and leaving with some document. They would have assumed the papers were quest that they had been asked to deliver to a guild." Ropo realized what Carly's reasoning was.

"And if they took the papers from there rightful place they would have just have to copy them saying that one of the guest lost their papers and that he had to make a copy of them to give to a random royal guild member." Jack caught on to his best friend thinking shortly thereafter.

"We're going to have to open an investigation into the Grandmaster's office then. But who would betray the grandmaster?" Steve frowned in though. All of the Rune knights were extremely loyal to the man so there was no reason that one of them betray them. Maybe one of the guards? Carly and Steve we're sure but what they did know was that they had to investigate further into the incident. For now though they wanted to spend more time with their friends.
