The Ghost Host spent his days narrating the goings on in the Haunted Mansion to Disney World guests. He enjoyed it, but he'd also seen a lot over the last fifty years
He'd seen rides come and go, park installations come and go. Regular guests that one day didn't return, and guests that had… tried to add themselves to the Haunted Mansion by way of cremains.
It was a lot.
So at the end of every working day, he would join the rest of the ghosts, creatures, and the caretaker with his dog, for an after party to celebrate another job well done.
Then he would retire to his corpse hanging from the rafters in the attic while everyone else came out to socialise.
He didn't want to.
He wanted to preserve his voice for the next long day at the attraction - after all, his voice was all he had.
A/N:
Yes, people do try to spread their loved ones' ashes on the Haunted Mansion. That's a sure fire way to get trespassed (banned) from the Disney Parks, so just don't do that.
