Chapter 14

Chloe's POV

I wake up and know that it is still early. I slowly open my eyes to see Beca still asleep. She has her head resting on my chest and her arm thrown around my waist. She looks so cute. I have to fight every urge in my body to not lean down and kiss her. I look over at her clock on her dresser. It's a little after 7 and we have practice at 9. I slowly try to move out from under Beca so I can head back to my apartment to get ready for practice. I hear Beca groan. She moves to bury her head into my chest and tightens her grip around my waist.

"For someone who hates cuddling you're really good at it" I say, still trying to leave. At hearing my comment Beca all of a sudden lets go of me and sits up on the bed wide awake.

"I'm sorry Chlo, I didn't mean to… you know… I was asleep…I.. I didn't mean to put my head… there." Beca's face is bright red.

"Becs, I don't care that you had your head on my boobs" I chuckle. "Stop freaking out. You looked really cute."

"I'm not cute!" Her face is still bright red and I can tell she's still nervous.

"I hate to break it to you but you are and arguing with me won't change my mind. I'm gonna head out now" I say as I climb over her to change back into my clothes from yesterday.

"Do you have to go?" I look up to see her pouting like a 3 year old.

"Beca Mitchell I didn't think you were the clingy type" I say with a smirk wearing only my pants and a bra. "I need to go back and get changed for practice." I bend down to grab my shirt. "Don't think I don't see you staring at me" I say as I stand back up and see her trying to pretend like she was looking somewhere else. Her red face somehow managed to get even brighter.

I slide on my shoes and head to her door. I grab the handle and open it. "Don't worry Becs you're still cute! See you at practice!" I quickly close the door before she can protest and start the short walk back to my apartment.

I manage to make it back in 10 minutes. I open the door to the apartment and throw my keys on the table in the entryway and slide my shoes off. I start to walk towards my room and hear the shower going. As I walk past the bathroom door I start to hear moaning. I stand there confused for a minute. Then it hits me Aubrey must have invited Stacie over after I left last night. I've never seen Aubrey so into someone before, so I decide I need to have a little fun with this. I hurry up and go to my room and change for Bella's practice, then I head into the kitchen to make some coffee and breakfast.

After about 15 minutes I have a huge stack of pancakes on the table and 3 places set. I hear the bathroom door open. Then 10 minutes later I hear voices and giggling headed towards the kitchen. As Aubrey and Stacie round the corner I put a smirk on my face. They don't seem to notice right away that I was there.

"I thought you guys might be hungry after what I heard this morning" I watch them both jump and Aubrey's face instantly turn red.

"Oh hi Chlo. I didn't know you were here. I thought you were staying the night with Beca?" She nervously asks

"I did, but then I decided to come home this morning to get changed and ready for practice. It's nice to see that you guys already did a nice warm up exercise this morning." I wait for a response but judging by the look on her face she isn't going to say anything. "You know I'm honestly surprised. You don't seem like the shower sex type." I watch Stacie choke on the sip of coffee she just took "I honestly don't think you've ever even had this much sex with any of your past boyfriends." Aubrey looks like she wants to crawl into a hole and die. Stacie has a huge shit eating grin on her face.

"Oh Chloe, you think the shower is the craziest place we've had sex?" Stacie teases.

"Oh wow there's pancakes! I love pancakes." Aubrey says trying to change the subject. She fills her plate and takes a huge bite. Stacie also grabs some pancakes.

"Now Stacie please tell me more" I ask curiously.

"Well you see the first time we had sex was on hood night as you know and before we went back to my place, we did it right there in the woods. Then there was that time at the bar in the bathroom. Oh and that time at the movies!"

"Wait in the actual theater?" I am surprised by what I am hearing. We can't be talking about the same Aubrey. The same girl who barely let any of her past boyfriends show any PDA.

"Yeah. I mean it was basically empty and we were in the back row. Why do you seem so shocked?" Stacie looks genuinely confused as to why I'm surprised.

"The Aubrey I know barely shows PDA. She doesn't even like it when I hug her in public. Never in a million years would I have thought she would 1 be dating a woman. I know that's old news but I'm still shocked by it. And 2 I never would've thought she would agree to have sex in public places!" Stacie looks like she's thoroughly enjoying this conversation. Aubrey looks like she wants to die as she keeps shoving food in her mouth and avoids eye contact.

"Oh Aubrey does more than agree to have sex in public places. If my memory is right I believe the bar bathroom and the movie theater was her idea." I feel my mouth drop open and hear Aubrey choke on her food.

"Alright. I think this conversation is over. Let's hurry up and eat so we can head to practice shall we." Aubrey quickly says after recovering from her choking fit.

"I find it funny that you can have sex in a movie theater, but you can't talk about having sex Bree."

"Well I'm fine talking about sex with the person I'm having sex with Chlo, but it's hard talking about it with other people. You know the type of house me and Beca grew up in."

"I know I'm sorry. Alright I'm going to freshen up a bit in the bathroom then we can leave". I get up and head to the bathroom.

When I'm done I see Aubrey and Stacie waiting at the front door. I quickly put on my shoes so we can leave. After a quick 10 minute walk we make it to the auditorium. I'm surprised when I Beca waiting outside for us.

"Hey Becs!" I run up to her and give her a huge hug, almost knocking her feet. I'm surprised when she willingly returns it. After about a minute I let go of her.

"What are you doing here so early? Not that I'm not happy to see you."

"Well after I was rudely woken up this morning" she says with a laugh "I couldn't fall back to sleep so I got ready then got some coffee and then I was bored. I figured I would just come here early and help you set up. Also I needed to talk to Bree. And who could turn down the opportunity to see your cute face again." Beca emphasizes the word cute.

"Well I'm flattered you think my face is cute. I think your face is cute too. I thought we went over that this morning." I see her face change to look slightly annoyed. "Also calling me cute doesn't bother me" I add with a wink.

"We did discuss it earlier and I'm sure you also remember the part where I explicitly stated I am not cute!" I chuckle then walk past her through the door of the auditorium where Aubrey and Stacie had already disappeared into a few seconds before. Beca is quick to follow me in.

We make our way to the stage and we start setting up chairs as Aburey starts writing stuff on the white board. I watch as Beca walks up to Bree. I pretend to busy myself, so I can listen in on their conversation. Beca looks nervous.

"Hey Bree. So I called dad this morning and umm he said Tuesday works." She is staring at the ground and playing with the hem of her shirt.

"Alright I'll write it down in my calendar. Are you sure you still want to do this? You can always do it a different time if you're not ready." I hear Bree say as she puts her hand on Becas shoulder causing her to look up at Bree.

"Umm yeah no I'm good. I think it's time. I'm just kinda nervous. I have absolutely no idea how he's going to react. Also he said on the phone that he and Sheila had something they needed to tell us which is stressing me out a little."

"Well even if he reacts badly you still have me Becs. I'm sure he will be fine with it." I watch Aubrey pull Beca into a quick hug that Beca awkwardly returns. "I'm nervous now that I know they have an announcement. Last time they had a big announcement was when dad introduced us to her and said they were getting married."

I see Beca walk away from Bree and head over to her bag so I follow her.

"Hey wanna hang out later?" I ask

"Umm yeah I'd like that. Help me get my mind off of dinner with my dad next week."

"Great I'll talk to you more about it after practice." I notice a few of the girls starting to come in and see that it's already 8:55 so practice is going to start in a couple minutes.
