Shy Albert kept to himself a lot.
Sure, he'd drink rum with his friends - Pig Pen Pirate, The Auctioneer, Dirty Foot Pirate, and Redd.
But he mostly kept to himself. That was why they called him Shy Albert, after all. And he lived up to his name.
But there were times he didn't.
Sometimes he found it fun to leave the attraction. And those times usually fell on Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party nights.
He just looked like an adult in a Halloween costume. And adults were allowed to dress up at the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Parties at Disney World.
So, who'd even notice he was missing?
And who'd believe he was even alive?
The Cast Members monitoring the CCTV cameras never seemed to believe it, and they had irrefutable video evidence.
Shy Albert would just… slip out.
And then slip back in with his bounty - bags full of candy. The candy that was handed out to trick or treaters at the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.
And now Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party was back two years after the pandemic.
Surely nobody would notice if Shy Albert just… disappeared for a few hours.
Right?
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party has finally made its triumphant return to the parks on the 12th August after a two year absence due to COVID.
I can't wait to go!
