Jose seethed towards Iago. He absolutely hated that parrot. And he did everything to make his life harder.
It wasn't that he hated the parrot. Well, yeah, he hated the parrot. But he also hated what Iago represented.
An attempt by Disney to be "hip" and "down" with the "youngsters".
That the Tiki Room birds just weren't enough anymore.
Jose knew the update failed. The Imagineers. The Guests. Everyone.
But Jose did his best with what he'd been given. There was nothing else he could do.
Except hope Imagineers would revert it back to the Enchanted Tiki Room one day.
The Enchanted Tiki Room Under New Management was a much hated "update" to the Tiki Room. I didn't think it was that bad personally. But a lot of people did. And I can't imagine the Tiki Room Birds would appreciate their thunder being stolen either.
