Chapter 5: Taking Down Demons
"My goodness, this planet looks boning," Frieza said with a sigh.
"A suitable planet for that Saiyan to live on," Frieza's father, King Cold said. He's currently standing next to his son and has his arms folded, "Are you sure you want to destroy this plant? We could sell it,"
"No father!" Frieza growled, "That Saiyan must pay for what he's done to me!" a cruel smile forms on his lips, "What better to repay him than killing his loved ones and turning his beloved home to space dust," he looks at his men, "Now go and kill everyone you see!"
"YES SIR!" Frieza's men shout and with an evil smile they are about to fly but two young individuals come from the sky and land right in front of them.
"If you want to wipe out humanity, you have to go through us," Ling said and folds her arms.
"Let me warn you, it won't be easy," Trunks said.
One of Frieza's men uses their Scouter to get a read of Ling's and Trunk's power level. He smiles when the display reads five, "It will be," he smiles. He points his blaster at Trunks and Ling and fires. Frieza's men were shocked when Ling and Trunks deflected the blast with ease.
Thinking it was just a fluke, all of Frieza's men rushed at the time travellers.
Trunks grips the handle of his sword and dashes at Frieza's men. Once they are close enough, Trunks draws his sword and skillfully slashes at them. Trunks stop swinging his sword and slowly sheaths it. As soon as it clicks into place, Frieza's men suddenly drop dead.
Meanwhile, Ling stayed on one spot. Kicking and punching every Frieza soldier that came in melee range. For those who were using blasters, Ling shoots fast but power green Ki blasts at them. All of her attacks took out Frieza's men with one blow.
Frieza lets out an annoyed sigh, "With my men dead, I'll have dish out the carnage myself," he glares at the time travellers murderously, "Let the thank you,"
Trunks and Ling weren't phased by Frieza's glare, "We won't let you wipe out humanity," Trunks said.
"And we will be the ones to meet Goku, not you," Ling said and folds her arms.
"Oh? So I assume you two are associated with that miserable Saiyan?" Frieza asked.
Trunks shook his head, "No, we just heard a lot about him,"
"You can say we are fans of his," Ling added.
"I see, that gives me more reason to kill you two," Frieza said and did the pose he did when he's about to fight Goku.
A smile forms on Trunks' face, "You know, Goku is not the only Super Saiyan. They are two more right here,"
"What?!" Frieza gasps.
A golden aura and bolts of lightning start to emit from Trunks and Ling. Their hair starts to stick up and shifts between their natural hair colour and gold. Their eyes turn green. The ground starts to shake and crack as they let out a roar which is accompanied by a roar of a great ape. A powerful wind kicks up and sends rocks and dead Frieza soldiers flying.
Meanwhile, Gohan and the Z-fighters are very confused. "Why am I sensing two dads?" Gohan asked.
"That's not Goku, Gohan, it's someone else," Piccolo said with a worried tone.
"Two Saiyans?! That's impossible!" Vegeta thought. With clenched fists, he flies towards where the battle is taking place. The others follow after him.
Back with Frieza, he's quivering with fear and is slowly walking back. King Cold, who was admiring Ling's beauty, looks at his son and back to Trunks and Ling, "So this is a Super Saiyan," he said as Trunks and Ling finished transforming.
"Th-They have the same eyes!" Frieza said with fear and recalled his battle with Goku.
"What's wrong?" Trunks smiles.
"You look scared," Ling said, her arms still folded, even while turning Super Saiyan.
Frieza growls, "I AM NOT SCARED OF YOU!" he shouts and shoots a power Ki blast at the two Super Saiyans. Ling finally unfolds her arms, shoots her own Ki blasts and cancels out Frieza's blast. Shocking the space emperor greatly.
"Is that all you got?" Trunks smirks.
"You better show everything you got or else you're going to die by our Saiyan hands," Ling said and folds her arms again.
Growling in frustration, Frieza flies high in the air, raises his arms and creates a huge ball of energy. "Frieza! You'll destroy the planet with that!" King Cold shouts.
"She said everything! We can find Goku in space! This is for you father!" Frieza shouts and throws the huge orb at the Super Saiyans. The orb lands on them and it slowly sinks into the ground.
"Quickly Frieza! To the ship!" King Cold shouts.
Before King Cold and Frieza could go into the ship, the orb suddenly starts to rise. King Cold and Frieza land back on the ground. They see Trunks holding up the orb with ease. "Excuse me, is this yours?" Trunks asked with a smile on his face. Ling meanwhile looks bored and is fanning herself.
Frieza angrily shoots a death beam at the orb Trunks is holding and makes it blow up. The dust cleared and the two Super Saiyans were nowhere in sight. "Such a shame, that Saiyan female was so beautiful," King Cold sighs.
"I can never understand your taste in women," Frieza sighs.
Not too far, Trunks and Ling were standing on a tall rock pillar. Trunks move his arms in a certain pattern and shouts, "Hey, Frieza!"
Hearing his voice, Frieza and King Cold turn to see Trunks and Ling who has a hand on her hip and waves at them. Trunks shoot a fast Ki sphere at Frieza and King Cold, making them jump high into the air.
"You missed!" Frieza smiles then he looks up when he hears Trunks' battle cry and is holding his sword over his head. A look of fear forms on Frieza's face. He had no time to evade Trunks' swing and was cut in half.
"Frieza!" King Cold shouts. He looks in horror as Frieza slowly spits into. Trunks swing his sword again and cuts Frieza into small bits then shoots a powerful ki blast. Nothing of Frieza was left.
Ling suddenly appears in front of King Cold and punches him in the gut. King Cold coughed up blood due to how hard she punched him. She puts a hand on her forearm and shouts, "Buster shot!" King Cold was evaporated by a large green energy blast.
The Saiyan hybrid was about to blow up the ship but Ling stops him, "Wait, let me check it out and find anything we can use back home,"
"Sure, you have a good eye for scavenging," Trunks said and turned back to his base form.
"And you are better at talking to people than I am," Ling said and she too turns back to her base form.
"Yeah, you can be very awkward," Trunks chuckles.
"Thanks," Ling frowns.
"Good luck finding something," Trunks said.
"Thanks and good luck getting those guys to trust us," Ling said and pointed at the shocked Z-fighters with her thumb.
Ling and Trunks fist bump then flies to their destination.
Entering the ship, Ling looks for a small bag to put the things she believes will be useful. She found one which was full of dirty magazines. "Even in space, they have them," Ling shrugs and begins her search. She finds some spare Scouters, she puts some in the bag. Thinking her mom can make good use of them.
She explorers the ship more until she finds staring-looking pods. Then she recalls a story Gohan once told her and Trunks. It was when he was on Namek, Goku was badly wounded and was put in one of these pods to heal. Gohan guessed it was the liquid that healed his father's injuries.
"Now, how can I get a sample of that liquid," Ling wonders out loud. She walks around the healing pod and tries to find where the liquid is kept.
It took some time but Ling found where the liquid was. She had to rip some stuff off though but that didn't matter. During her search, found a container to put the liquid in. With a full bag, Ling blows a hole in the ship so she can leave. She hovers over the ship, Ling shoots a green Ki blast at the ship and destroys it completely.
She finds Trunks and holds up the bag, "I found some pretty good stuff!" Ling said.
"What did you find?" Trunks asked.
Ling opens the bag, "I took Scouters because they could be useful back home and healing liquid. I'm sure mom can make more of this," the female Saiyan said.
Trunks nods, "I think so too. She is really smart,"
As Trunks and Ling talk about how useful the things she found are, Bulma asked Vegeta, "Hey Vegeta, are all girl Saiyans that tall. That kid said she's the same age as he is but she's tall as Goku,"
"Not all but the chances of a Saiyan female to grow tall is above average," Vegeta explains.
"So female Saiyans are like space Amazons," Krillin said.
"The hell is that?" Vegeta asked with a glare.
"They're a fictional tribe of warriors that consists of only women," Krillin explains. Normally, he would flinch at Vegeta's glares but has gotten used to it.
"And let me guess, these Amazons are scantily clad," Vegeta said. He didn't need to hear Krillin's answer; the look on his face tells it all. Vegeta then turns his gaze at Ling, "An albino Saiyan, if Planet Vegeta was still around she would be classed as a high classed Saiyan. But father did his damnedest to make sure an albino Saiyan was born because of the potential they have. He was always afraid of someone taking his crown, I don't have such weakness,"
Krillin looks at Ling as well, "You know, for someone who has amnesia, she looks she's doing all right for herself,"
Piccolo chimes in, "The past has a habit showing up when you least expected,"
