A/N: I love the story of Din Djarin and Grogu. Also I am writing this because of the force of my inspiration Pedro Pascal and not for monetary gain. I have spoken. This is the way!
1 : Yuno, Din's attendant would look like kid on the side of the road from Season 2 Episode 15-The Believer.
2: On Pinterest see Din Djarin's cute cottage in Calodan under the name Acer Wolfe under Silver Moon Inuyoukai board.
Kindly leave a review for it bolsters my confidence and muse and tell me what you think. Thank you!
CHAPTER 22
HOW TO TRAIN A MAND'ALOR
The Son of the Jedi
"Mandalorian!" someone shouted from within the thick smoke then a pair of hands thrust a small bundle out the window. The Jedi emerged halfway as soon as Din took the wrapped item from the man.
"Help him out!" he commanded the security people. Cradling the bundle, Din dashed away from the acrid smoke. The security people took over to help the Jedi out of the smoking cockpit.
"Grogu…" Din shakes the blanket. He panics when there were no movements from it. "Grogu…!"

"His son!" Ahsoka pointed at Din. "That's his son in there!"
"What?!" Aylith Hyru couldn't believe the words from the Togruta. "His…son?!" Did they just shoot the ship of their ruler's foundling?! The very foundling that they were supposed to lend assistance to? The councilwoman was shaken. "Who the hell shot it!" In anger she swung around to the frozen people standing behind her. "Find out who took that shot or I will kill you all myself! NOW!" Still not believing what happened, Aylith focused on what she could do. "Manda'lor…" Concerned, Aylith of clan Hyru came forward to lend assistance.
Ahsoka frowns at the events happening before her. Everything in chaos: the smoking X-Wing, the people running with equipment and fire-suppressant tanks, the Mandalorians who were shocked that they fired upon an unsuspecting aircraft. A few of them flew back to the very ship that fired at it. Governor Wing orders people to bring medical supplies. She noted the dark clothed man who jumped from the damaged spacecraft.
"Vod?" The armorer ran over to Aylith. "What is wrong?"
Ahsoka looks on at the two Mandalorian women. Wondering what ails the official. Then she felt it.
"No, Mandalorian!" The hooded man also rushes towards Din. He knows? He knows what a force choke is? Stunned, Ahsoka's montrals rippled in the realization. A Jedi?
"Don't come near my son!" Din snarled and slowly closes his fist.
Aylith could only gasp. "Manda…."
"Din! No! Stop!"
"What is happening?" The armorer got goosebumps.
"Mandalorian!"
Din turned to the voice as the bundle in his arms floats away back to the other man. "Give him back!" Din held out the darksaber at the male Jedi.
The man in the cowl was surprised. He thought the distraction would successfully break the choke. But the female is still in distress. How is this possible?
"Din stop!" Ahsoka force repelled him to break his hold on the Mandalorian woman. Suddenly, someone came up behind her and wrapped an arm around her neck.
"A Jedi!" said a woman's voice.
"I'm Din's friend!" She was immediately let go. "He's doing it! Help me stop him!"
The armorer was surprised at the request but complied. She strode to Din Djarin. "Mand'alor, please! Cease!"
"They're here to hurt my son…" The armorer was relieved when the councilwoman was released. Aylith collapsed to the ground gasping for air.
"There's a misunderstanding…" The man in black approached the hunter cautiously.
"They shot at my son! Is that a misunderstanding?!"
"Mand'alor!" A group of Mandalorians almost drag someone in their midst. "We have apprehended the culprit!" The perpetrator had been stripped of all weapons and armor including the headgear. The hands were bound behind her.
Din gritted. How come he wasn't surprised? "Bo Katan! I will deal with you later." Din secured the saber on his belt and walks to the man in the dark cowl. "Hand him to me."
"Mandalorian, he wasn't harmed. He was exhausted. He helped me bring the craft down." The man gently opened the bundle and held it out to the bounty hunter. "But without your help we would have been dead."
Din took a deep shaky breath as he cradles Grogu in his arms, trembling hand pats the sleeping boy's face. "I thought…I thought…" A hand grips his shoulder. Din looks up to the Jedi's kind face.
"I am Luke Skywalker."
"I'm Din Djarin."
The Jedi stepped back and formally bowed in Mando'a custom. "I am honored to meet you, Al'Ori'Ramikade."
"Skywalker….you are a Skywalker!" Ahsoka Tano holds out her long saber at the stranger.
"Ahsoka, what's wrong?" When Luke pushed back his cowl Din frowned. Again, where had he seen that face before...?
"Who are you?"
Luke gapes at her at the quick image he glimpsed from her memory. "You knew my father…" He whispered.
"What? Really?" Din was shocked; he looks at Ahsoka's tormented eyes. And they're on him. "Ahsoka…?"
"Din…he's…" Ahsoka's chest heaves.
Quickly understanding, Luke held up a hand towards the Togruta. "Allow me."
"What the Dank Farrik is going on?"
"Mand'alor," Luke grasps his hands formally in front of him, "I am the son of Padme Amidala, former queen of Naboo. My father was Anakin Skywalker a former Jedi General in the Grand Army of the Republic…"
"Who became Darth Vader…" Ahsoka interjected.
Luke faced Ahsoka, face stoic. "Yes.'
"What?" Din stood frozen as a statue. "The Darth Vader who slaughtered millions. Destroyed planets. Subjugated worlds? That Darth Vader?" Behind him the Mandalorians aimed their various weapons at the male Jedi. The sound was ominous.
