At the Dino Institute's dig site were two bored students. One of them had the bright idea to escape. The other followed gleefully.
Up a flight of stairs they went, up a scaffold. When the radio operator left his room, they sneaked inside, locking the door.
When the song stopped, one of them spoke into the mic. 'Welcome to Radio Free DinoLand! I'm The Digger!'
'And I'm The Bonehead!' said the second one.
'We have stolen the airwaves, just for you,' said The Digger. 'On W-DINO - can you dig it? The best rock since the dawn of time!'
'Why study when you can just take over the airwaves?' The Bonehead said with a chuckle.
'You know what, Bonehead, that is a great point!' said The Digger. 'Tell the listeners the new name of the show.'
'The show?'
The Digger put his head in his hand. 'The one we commandeered. This one.'
'Oh!' The Bonehead shook his head. 'Oh yeah! We're The Digger and The Bonehead and you're listening to All Day Zoo on W-DINO -'
'Can you dig it?!' The Digger and The Bonehead said together.
The Digger pushed a button and I'm Still Standing by Elton John started to play.
A/N:
The Digger and The Bonehead are two characters, the radio deejays on the pirate radio station in DinoLand USA in Animal Kingdom, and troublemaking, prank playing students at the Dino Institute.
They don't play Elton John's I'm Still Standing in their the loop, but this is pre-canon, it's the story of how they took over, so it doesn't matter.
The loop only plays in the kids playground (adults can visit) in The Boneyard. The music is really good. They play music contemporary to the 1990s like REM and Blue Öyster Cult, Carole King, Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers, and Was (Not Was), so if you ever wondered whether you can hear any of them in Disney World, the answer is yes! You can!
