When Elora gets notified her weapon's done, she drags everyone with her.

Krista carried Spyro due to cramps kicking his ass. Hunter isn't as excited as Elora or Krista, but he's happy for her. When they arrive, the Artisans greet them with smiles and open arms. Krista runs around saying 'hi' to everyone as Spyro introduces her to them. Elora and Hunter go look for Nestor—Spyro told them to go ahead, they'd catch up—which ends up being easier than expected.

When Nestor sees them, he gets on one knee and has his arms out. Elora hugs him. Nestor sees Hunter, who stands there with a smile. Hunter waves.

"Ah, you must be Hunter!" He greets, walking over to him. "I've heard a lot about you."

"I hope they were all good things, sir." Hunter laughs.

Nestor lays his hand around Hunter's shoulders. "They were, and you don't need to be formal here. We're not really up-tight."

"That's, uh, that's good to know." His smile awkwardly widens.

Nestor looks at Elora. "Are you excited?"

"Yep! I came as fast as I could!"

Nestor chuckles. His eyes wander around, trying to find Spyro with them.

"So where are they anyways? He had to have come with you."

Elora points behind her. "He's with Krista, introducing her to everyone."

As if on cue, Spyro loudly groans. "Lindar, must you really do this right now? This ain't a good week for it!"

"Aww, aren't you a grumpy lil' guy today. Menstruating?" Lindar teases.

Spyro hisses and tries to smack Lindar's hands away. Krista holds him at bay, trying to keep them away from the older blue dragon. Nestor can only laugh at the sight.

"I see! Well, I'll give you your staff then." Nestor says.

They follow him inside. He takes the staff and hands it to Elora. With a huge smile on her face, she takes it from him.

The staff is made out of wood. It twists near the top before it branches off into two curved pieces of wood. There's a green gem in the middle of it accompanied by smaller gems. Each gem is a different color with one being yellow, one being purple, one being blue, and one being orange. The smaller gems orbit around the bigger center gem. All of them glow, presumably enough to light up a dark room.

Even Hunter looks at it with wide eyes.

"I needed some help from the Magic Crafters for this, however I hope you're happy with it!"

Elora looks at him. "I am! Thank you so much, Nestor!"

Suddenly, Krista kicks the door wide open.

"I heard something about Magic Crafters!" She exclaims.

"Krista, can you not kick my damn door open?"

Hunter laughs while Elora shakes her head. Nestor merely sighs in disappointment.

"You have," he responds to Krista.

"I've heard so much about them! Is it true they're willing to assist and train magic users? I'm not exactly an expert in that area but I would love to learn so much more!"

The end of Nestor's mouth curls up. "They do, however may that wait a moment? Elora needs to test out her staff."

Hunter raises his hands. "If sparring is involved, I'll just watch."

"Oh, I can help out with that!" Everyone looks at Krista. "I've been needing to brush up for a while so this is perfect!"

"You? Fighting? Ha!" Spyro laughs before he coughs. "I'm sorry, but I can't see you being much of a fighter."

Krista shrugs. "Eh, fair enough. Never really fought, just sparring and learning how to do that stuff so I can protect myself, besides I'm more for fortune telling. It's not like you're in much of a position to spar yourself."

"Touché," they cross their arms.

"We have a training field for you two to practice at." Nestor informs.

"Great!"

Nestor motions the way there and Krista is the first to run in that direction. Hunter and Elora follow right behind her.

When they're all outside, Krista lays Spyro down. Hunter sits next to them. Krista takes a yoyo out and readies herself. Elora bends down so she's at eye level with Spyro.

"Mind keeping an eye on Hunter during this?" She asks.

They raise an eyebrow. "Sure."

Elora kisses his forehead, causing his face to turn slightly pink.

"Thanks!"

She runs off and gets ready as well. Spyro looks at Hunter.

"Why is Elora making me watch you? Do you know?"

Hunter leans back. "Oh, it's because I'm put on suicide watch."

"Oh, okay."

It takes a few seconds for Spyro to truly register that.

"Wait, WHAT?!"

Their yelling nearly makes Hunter jump off his seat. It doesn't help that his wings popped wide open as he yelled that.

In the meantime, Elora takes deep breaths. Krista whispers something onto her yoyo. Blue magic surrounds it from where her lips laid down to the yoyo base itself. Whatever it is, she prepares herself; Elora readies her stance. Krista looks at her from top to bottom before she snorts. Elora doesn't know why, but she doesn't let her guard down. She holds her staff out, gems swirling around the main one.

Krista moves first. She spins around. Her yoyo reaches out. Elora leaps before the base and string touch her legs. She rolls on the ground. She lays her hand on the dirt. Krista retracts the yoyo. Her hooves leave the ground. She shoots it forward with full force. Elora pushes herself back up. She raises her staff. It shields her. However, the yoyo wraps around the staff.

It turns into a tug of war. Krista lands and pulls on the string. Elora pulls back. Her arms tremble. Her hooves get slightly dug into the dirt. She feels her heart pounding. She knows she's not strong enough to pull Krista in. Elora feels uncertain about how much longer she can keep this up. Even the string isn't breaking apart. That's until she gets an idea and smirks.

"...So I thought maybe if I was gone, it'd be better for everyone." Hunter looks away.

Spyro stares at him with wide eyes. "Wow, I… And I thought Elora had it rough. Do you want me to ask Nestor for a therapist? I think he knows one."

Hunter scoots away from them.

Elora pulls as hard as she can. Once Krista puts all her strength into it, Elora stops. She flies forward. She positions her body towards her, putting her legs together. Krista's eyes widen as she stares. She tries to get her yoyo off, but no matter what she does, Elora is still flying towards her.

"Oh, Scheiße." She quietly says to herself.

Elora then collides with Krista. She harshly gasps from the hit slightly above her belly. The two hit the ground, with Krista going down first. Elora goes beyond Krista and hits the ground face first. Nestor runs over to them and lifts them up.

"Are you two okay?" He asks.

Elora shakes her head, getting the dirt off her face. She looks at Nestor, feeling a tad dizzy from how fast she shook her head.

"Ye-Yeah, I'm alright." She answers.

Krista has her arms on her body. "Got the wind knocked out of me, but I'm good."

He sighs in relief. He puts the two fauns down on the ground. Krista stumbles before she finds her solid footing. Nestor looks at Elora.

"You have done well thinking quickly on your feet, and that wasn't a bad idea to fly forward to kick, however you need to work on your footing and form." He criticizes. "You may wish to visit the Peace Makers to work more on that. I'm no expert so I cannot help you here."

"I agree with the stance and form." Krista weakly smiles. "And you have excellent leg strength, but I'm not sure if it's that or the speed at which you came at me. I'm still catching my breath."

She laughs, making no huge deal out of it. The end of Elora's eyebrows slant downwards. She puts her hand on Krista's shoulder.

"Are you sure you're okay?" She asks in worry. "I hope I didn't hurt you too badly."

"Yeah, I'm fine," Krista reassures, "at least we know how good your legs are now!"

Elora nervously laughs. "Not that I'll be using them that much in combat anyways."

"You may never know, Elora. Everything can be of use, whether it's now or later on." Nestor responds.

"Yeah, that's true."

Nestor pats Elora's head. "I'll see who can train you. Just be sure to come by a few times a week, you got a lot of training to do."

She nods. "Will do!"

Within weeks, she gets better with her stance and form. The Peacemakers teach her what they're able to. Some of their techniques and methods fall through for Elora due to not having a tail nor wings, but plenty of them were helpful. During one training session, she found out that her staff can project out a magic shield in front of it. Everyone watching became surprised with her. It's not a detail she added, but she's certainly not complaining about it.

Whenever Krista comes along, she cheers for Elora to do well. She has to admit, it's really sweet of her, even if it's only Elora doing some training. On the other hand, Spyro and Hunter simply watch her. She doesn't let it distract her though as she keeps her focus on her mentor. It makes her become out of breath quite a bit of the time. Whenever she gets too physically exhausted that she shakes, they make her take a break.

It's not like she's in a real fight so she doesn't have to exert herself too much. She takes the breaks as an opportunity to take deep breaths. Elora jumps when she feels Spyro pat her on the back and she looks at them.

"You're doing great!" Spyro compliments. "Pretty soon, you might even be able to kick my ass!"

They laugh before Elora playfully elbows him with a smile on her face.

"Keep that up and I might do that, ya dork." She light-heartedly retorts.

Hunter snorts. "If she does, don't expect me to save you. I know better than to get in between a family member and a target."

"Yeah, because I'm not afraid of getting you too."

Elora lightly bonks Hunter on the head with one end of the staff. When it makes contact, Hunter sticks his tongue out and smiles. She laughs at the look on his face. Spyro playfully rolls their eyes. Elora stands up and stretches. She gets back out on the training field.

The training continues for a while longer.
