I awoke extremely early the next morning. At first I was still very tired

I jumped from my bed and started to search what to wear. I took my favorite clothes and went to the bathroom. I looked at my mirror and gasped. My beautiful wavy hair now looked like bush. I quickly showered and did my hair (like this just black).

I was done in fifteen minutes and was now running through the corridors. I didn't see professor McGonagall and bumped into her.

"Miss Snape, how are you?" A small smile appeared on her face. "Oh! Professor McGonagall good morning." I smiled widely.

"Very Good Indeed, I have heard that's you are going with your father to Diagon Alley today."

"Yes, I can't wait!" I said and clapped with my hands, stopping my feet the sound echoing through the halls.

"I don't want to waste any more of your time so go get some breakfast. And have nice day with your dad." She said that and left in opposite way. I smiled at her and then keep going to the Great Hall.

The Great Hall looked bigger then ever, it looked kind of empty. I missed all the cheering and laughing that the school year always brought. I have always watched the students during lunch from the table where professors sit. I've always wondered what it feels like to sit with friends and laugh with them. And now I'm finally going to do that. I just can't wait!

It was half past eight and I went out to find my dad. After few minutes I found him sitting outside on one of the stone benchs. He was probably waiting for me because when he saw me his face softened a little from it's stern expression to a more happy one.

"Are you ready?" He asked me in monotone voice. "Yes, I am!" I smiled widely a sequel escaping from my mouth. He just noded and start walking to the front gates.

I started running to be beside him, he was way faster than I am. For every step he took I had to take two.

I don't know why but Diagon Alley looked better than ever. Everything looked so amazing. A Pure sense of amazing filled me to the very brim. I didn't know where to go first. Snape and I went separate ways so that people wouldn't found out who I really was.

I decided to go to Madam Malkin's shop to buy my uniform first. I found the shop very quickly. I stepped inside and one lady came to meet me.

"Hogwarts, dear?" She greeted her mass of hair flowing behind her.

"Yes." I smiled looking around the small but packed store. "Follow me!" She turned around and went to the center of the room.

I saw some other children of my age standing on raised platforms. I did the same, and then I heard the bell signaling someone else had entered the shop.

Out of the corner of my eye came a blonde boy. He looked kind of cute but with too much gel in his hair, though I have to admit it looked good on him.

He stepped onto the platform beside me. "Hogwarts, dear?" Madam Malkin asked him. He just nodded staring at himself in the mirror in front of him.

She came back with meter, and started taking our sizes. The boy and I started looking at each other when the meter started doing everything alone.

"So. You are going to Hogwarts to?" He looked over at me. "Er... yes!" He kind of surprised me when he spoke.

"Malfoy. Draco Malfoy." He smirked at me with a chuckle. He put his hand out for me to shake it, I did.

He looked kind of arrogant so I decided mock him. "Moore. Esther Moore." I raised an eyebrow, and smirked to.

"Which house do you think you'll get? I am going to be in Slytherin. I mean, whole my family was in Slytherin." He smirked again. Seriously why does he do that? It is a little bit annoying.

"Me too. I mean who would want to be in a house like Hufflepuff," I joked a little. In reality I don't have anything against Hufflepuff but I do want to get in Slytherin because of my father, and it's kind of amazing house.

"Yeah I totally agree."

I looked at his face and his cold blue eyes started to shine. He looked kind of happy even if he didn't want to show it.

"Dear you robes are ready!" Madam Malkin looked at me holding out my robes in her hands.

"Thank you." I said taking them. "How much?"

"That would be 5 galleons."

I gave her the money. "See you at Hogwarts!" I waved to Draco and he snapes out from his thoughts and smiled back at me. "Yeah!"

I smiled and then turned, to go out of the shop, but I bumped into someone.

It was a boy with brown hair and he was wearing glasses that almost fell off when I bumped him.

He kind of looked lost. "Sorry! My fault." He apologized quickly readjusting his glasses, shielding his bright green eyes behind a layer of glass.

"Oh, no problem! I wasn't looking where I was going!" I started shaking my hands in front of me.

After that I smiled and l let him get inside the shop and then I went out.

The next thing I had to do was to go to Ollivander's shop to buy my wand.

I was arguing with my dad about wands. He wanted to give me his old one, but I wanted to have my own wand, so he let me to do what I wanted. Or I was very good at arguing.

I entered Ollivander's shop, and it was amazing how many wands was on shelves. I was immediately filled with pure wonder, the shop was so cool. While I was scanning the shop over Ollivander jumped out from one of the corridors made by the high shelves.

"Oh, Mrs. Snape you finally came. I was expecting you!" His smile was a little bit creepy. "How do you know my name?" He actually knew my real name ! HOW? The sense of wonder I had just a moment ago was replaced by fear and curiosity.

"I remember every wand I have ever sold as well as as it's owner. Severus Snape is a very powerful wizard."

"I know."

He went to one of the shelves and brought back several wands with him. He handed me a dark slender box with a rather short wand inside it.

" 9 1/2 inches cypress wood with unicorn hair," He said. "Come on try it out."

I took the wand and swing it. One vase shattered, sending shards of glass everywhere. I quickly put wand back in it's box. "No, ugh. Let's try a different on."

"How about this one?" He handed me another wand. This time a chair flew up just above our heads and crashed into the wall.

After that I have tried out a few more wands but to no avail. Then Ollivander took out a box from the shelve that he had been avoiding till now. He mumbled something under his breath and give me the wand. It was rather light in my hand.

I waved it and prepared myself for the crashing sounds but to Ollivander's and my surprise the wand shot some blue sparkles out of its top and I could feel warm sensation travel up my arm.

Is this what magic is like all the time?

"Extraordinary, indeed!" He still looked kind of surprised. "What kind of wand is this?" I asked him while putting my new wand back in it's box.

"That wand is made from beech wood and has dragon heartstring core. It is 12 1/2 inches in length and has a reasonably supple flexibility. Great wand indeed." He stopped for a second like he was thinking.

"It is a very powerful wand. When it is properly matched a beech wand is capable of a subtlety and artistry rarely seen in any other wood. It's also said that beech wand owners are wise beyond their years. Dragon heartstrings produce wands with the most power, and which are capable of the most flamboyant spells. So use it well!" That was the last thing he said before I payed him for my wand.

After that I went to the place where father said we would will meet. Snape went to buy me my books and other supplies for school, so I had nothing to do. I started looking at one animal shop that sat across the cobble stone walk from which I stood. A little black cat caught my eye. It had beautiful blue eyes. They kind of looked like Draco's eyes.

Hold on! Wait! Why was I thinking about Draco's eyes? Then in the reflection of glass I saw Snape standing beside me. He was holding a cage with what looked like a huge black owl in it. I quickly turned around.

"This is for you. For finally becoming a student." He looked away.

"Really? Thank you! It is so beautiful!" I smiled and took cage away from him. "I will name it ..." I tough for a second. "Black!" I tried petting him through the cage.

"Oh, really creative." He just smirked but I could tell he was laughing on the inside. After that we went back at Hogwarts ,and I couldn't wait for school to start!
