Prologue
"FREAK!" Petunia Dursley screeched as she found her 10 year old nephew, Hadrian Potter who had a ball of light floating above his hand.
Before the boy could react Vernon Dursley practically jumped in front of Petunia and punched the boy in the face knocking him out in the process.
"Good riddance" Vernon growled as the boy faded into unconsciousness.
General Eneal sighed as he and his men walked through a thick forest on the outskirts of Haven City.
"What the hell are we doing here? There is nothing here" One of his men asks annoyed
Eneal sighed, understanding his men's frustration.
"Baron Praxis claims that we might find something that could lead to our win against the Metal Head armies" Eneal answers as he snaps a hanging branch that was in his path
"What could we find out here that could help us? Precursors this sucks" His men curses
"Uhm, sir" Eneal hears one of his men call out, shock in his voice
"What's wrong?" Eneal asks his squad mate
"Look, there's a boy," the man says, pointing towards a body lying on the ground with bushes surrounding him.
"Why is a kid here?" Eneal asks himself
Walking forward Eneal notices that the young boy was small and more then likely malnourished if the skin and bones meant anything
"What happened to his ears?" One of Eneals men ask in shock
Eneal looked at his squad mate and down at the boy.
Eneal's eyes widened upon seeing short ears that were in no way an elf's. The only race that had ears that short were.
"Human" Eneal breaths in shock
"Wait a Human? You mean the Human that is believed to be extinct as well as the few that have that ability. What was it called? Oh that's right. Magic. You mean those Humans?" One of his men asks shocked
"I don't know but he might be why we came out here" Eneal says as he puts his arm underneath the boy before picking him up
"Do you think it's true? You know. About Magic?" One of his men ask curious
"It's a possibility. After all we have a Human right here so what's to say that Magic doesn't exist" Eneal answers.
As the young Human was being taken away little did he know that his future took a darker turn, and all because of one person. Baron Praxis.
Baron Praxis walked through the corridor of the prison sector of the Fortress where General Ineal is to meet him.
As he reached the end of the corridor a metal door stood in front of him with a keycard slot with a keypad.
Putting the keycard to the slt and pushing in the password the door hisses as it opens revealing a dark room with multiple cells on the side of the room and a metal chair in the centre of the room surrounded by a steep pit with prison cells below and a single exit via a walkway.
But his goal wasn't the prison cells but the information he had received.
A Human was found.
"Report" Praxis demanded as he saw a pair of elves standing next to the metal chair where the Human was strapped to.
"It's amazing! Magic is real!" A scientist exclaims in shock and awe
"What do you mean?" Praxis asks surprised and curious
"When I did a scan on this young boy it began out as fine but when I got closer to the centre of his body it began to go haywire but I saw a ball of energy within him" The scientist explained
Praxis stares at the scientist in shock before turning to the young Human strapped to the chair.
Despite his appearance Praxis knew that the young boy was not 6 years old but older due to his malnourished body.
"What should we do?" General Ineal asks standing next to the scientist
"I want him fed and we will see if he could be our weapon against the Metal Heads" Praxis orders with an excited gleam in his eyes.
"As you wish" The scientist nods.
Hadrian sighed as he sat on his bed.
The once malnourished body that Hadrian had was now gone. Replaced with a healthy body with muscles growing nicely on his body.
With his eyes closed Hadrian found himself in a dark area with a glowing ball of green light in front of him.
His magical core. When he was 10 it was the size of his hand but now it was as large as his body with magic continuously flowing from it.
Just then the core and area disappeared and he found himself in his cell again as the metal door opened.
"You got a new cell mate. Enjoy" A guard in red armour stated as he threw a young boy into the cell.
Getting up Hadrian helps the elf up. He has greenish blonde hair and he was wearing the prison outfit that Hadrian had received.
"You ok?" Hadrian asks worried
The young elf nods and looks up at Hadrian. Hadrian could se the young boy's eyes widen upon seeing his ears
"I know. I have short ears" Hadrian answers
The young boy tilted his head confused before pointing to himself before pointing to the cell walls. Hadrian raises an eyebrow at the boy silence
"Why are you here?" Hadrian asks, trying to understand the young boy.
The young boy nods his head
"I don't know. I have been here for a long time and that is because of who I am" Hadrian answers.
The young boy tilts his head while his eyes shone with curiosity
"I'm Human" Hadrian answers and he could see the young boy's eyes widen dramatically.
The boy points at Hadrian
"Yes I am telling the truth" Hadrian answers knowing what the boy was asking.
The young boy sat on his bed in shock
"I believe I should warn you that the guards aren't going to like the fact that you don't talk to them" Hadrian states causing the young boy to look at him confused
"You're a mute aren't you?" Hadrian asks knowingly
The young boy nods his head confirming Hadrian's question
"They are going to get you to talk. One way or another. I believe that you should start getting used to the idea of talking because the guards will make you even if you don't want to" Hadrian warns the elf.
Hadrian sees the elf's shoulders sag and worry grew on his face
"Hey how about I help you" Hadrian offered causing the elf to look at him in surprise
"We will do something simple. My name is Hadrian but you can call me Harry for short" Hadrian introduces himself
The elf looks at him before opening his mouth only to pause.
"It's ok. Take your time" Hadrian encourages
The elf looks at Hadrian with a grateful smile
"J.J-Jak" Jak stutters before coughing
"Hey it's ok" Hadrian says, patting Jak on the back. Hadrian smiles at Jak and pats him on the shoulder "It's nice to meet you Jak" Hadrian greets with a smile.
Not too far away from the duo Baron Praxis grunts as he looks at the reports of his 5 test subjects
"Do you think it will work?" Erol, commander of the Krimzon Guard asks curious
"We must have hope commander. These 5 could be our weapon against the Metal Head armies. Now what of the Human?" Praxis asks the scientist who studied Hadrian
"He has been growing at a significant rate. I would say he could do some serious damage if it weren't for Eco" The scientist answers
"Doesn't his magic disrupt Eco?" Erol asks curious
"On some instances it does" The Scientist answers
Erol looks at Praxis with a knowing smile
"You think he could?" Praxis asks curious
"He may. Or he may not" Erol shrugs
"No you can't be thinking of involving him in the program!" The scientist protests
"If the Human could survive then he may be an even more powerful weapon" Praxis states
"Or we could lose the Human and we would have already lost a powerful weapon" The Scientist protests
"Silence! The Human is going to be a part of the Dark Warrior Program! I want results!" Praxis orders as he stomps off.
The scientist sighs and nods his head dejectedly
"See that you make progress" Erol sneers as he walks away
"Have a good day" The Scientist wave with mock enthusiasm
"I never do" Erol replies as he leaves the room with the metal doors closing behind.
