Guest 2 (Reply by Slim) They might if they knew just what was on the way but as it stands they feel that they can still beat the guardians. Besides you all want to see them fight

Ghostly (Reply by Slim): They have Cayde they should be fine. WOOLVES!

Guest 3 (Reply by Slim): Wow Czechus' story shook up a lot of peoples' thoughts on Circe. Then again the same can be said for most of Greek mythology.

The time had arrived for us to meet this Prometheus fellow. Saint and I were standing off to the side in the park under the cover of a tree. We had arrived two days early, so we preoccupied ourselves while we waited. Most of that time was spent at the local arcade, which led us to encounter a game called Air Hockey. Once we learned how the game was played, and acquired some funds to play it, both of us took a great liking to the game. We started off slow, still learning how the game was played but we got the gist of the game down quickly.

Then we started to speed up.

As the game went on we found our more competitive sides began to take over. It started with me and my attempts to bounce the puck off the side and into his goal. I put some speed behind the striker, as it was called, meaning the puck went zooming over to Saint's side of the table. He reacted just as quickly and knocked the puck back. Seeing as the puck was coming back at me rather quickly I once mover knocked it back to Saint's side putting more force behind the strike. Saint began to notice and followed suit, knocking the puck back harder. Soon enough the puck was moving so fast between us it was nigh impossible to track.

For a normal human anyway.

Saint and I's strikers flew across our own sides of the table, our hands' appearing as a blur of motion. We started to trade-friendly jeers at each other, in an attempt to try and mess each other up. When that did not work, we started to get the other to laugh. Of course, all of our commotions drew quite a crowd of people. Though that was bound to happen since we were still in our armor. Saint had yet to properly install the holographic projector in his systems allowing him to appear human. So He was forced to remain in his armor and not wanting to leave him alone in this regard I too remained in my armor.

Having two fully armored titans around in a time where such a thing was not common had the effect of drawing people in. Most of them however wanted a picture with us to which we were more than happy to oblige anyone who asked. It was quite enjoyable to have little children run up to us and say hello and that we looked cool. A reminder to both of us of the last city and the reason we fought.

Back at the hockey table things ended in a draw as the table must have had a time limit, as the air keeping the puck mobile turned off. The puck came to a dead stop in the center of the table. With the puck now sitting in the middle of the table, Saint and I stopped our fast moments. Both the puck and the strikers were showing signs of breaking with all the cracks on them. The gathered crowd let out a collective disappointing sigh as the game was forced into a draw.

Given the condition of the strikers and pucks, we concluded that it would be to leave the game in a draw. However, with time to spare, we decided to find another game to occupy us. Which led us to a game called Aliens, a game where the players would use provided prop weapons to shoot at a screen where these black-skinned creatures would attack. Needless to say when faced with the marksmanship of two elite guardians they did not last very long. By the time we finished the game, Saint and I had reached the highest score possible.

We ended up doing the same for the similar typed games around the arcade. Though most were surprised how far we made it in one game called Duck Hunt. I would admit that the game's circuitry was rather faulty as the time it took the signal to reach the screen was somewhat low. Nevertheless Saint and I still reached the top score by the time we were done.

Come to think of it, we had only left because the Arcade was closing for the night. The following day we spent our time wandering the city and take in all the sights. It was a slower day but we still had some fun here and there. There was that incident during what this era called "rush hour" involving a little boy and a speeding car. As it turns out during this rush hour a lot of people were trying to get to places fast and were more than willing to ignore the rules of the road.

During this time Saint and I were waiting at a crosswalk with a mother and her child. They were holding hands and the mother kept sending glances our way clearly distrusting the two of us. The kid on the other hand was looking up at us with amazement and wonder in his eyes. When the stop sign turned to a walk sign the kid quickly looked both ways before he took off across the crosswalk. It was then another car came screeching across the intersection. Seeing the threat to the kid's life Saint dashed after him. With the light-enhancing his speed Saint reached the kid before the car did. He dove forward grabbing the kid and turning his back towards the oncoming car.

The car missed the two by an inch. The car kept going, the driver not caring about the child she had almost murdered. Saint and the kid on the other hand were fine, Saint's armor had protected the kid from any scrapes from hitting the pavement. A crowd started to gather to see what had happened. The mother called out her son's name and ran to him. Saint was getting back to his feet and by extension, the kid was too. The mother hugged her child while crying. She thanked Saint for saving her child and offered to get him anything. Saint thanked the woman but said it was unnecessary. We made our way out of the area before any more attention was drawn to us.

The rest of the day went by somewhat quickly before the sun had fallen and we found ourselves a place to wait for the next day. As soon as the sun came up, we made our way to the park where we stood now. I had an active sensor running so that we could pick up anything with an energy similar to what Metis gave off. Sure enough, Sid detected energy similar to Metis' entering the area.

We spotted this Prometheus titan guy entering the park looking around. I raised my light level to get his attention, it seemed to work as the guy's head shot over to us. I waved him over and he started making his way over to us. Prometheus seemed to like to wear formal clothing as he was in a tuxedo with his black hair neatly wrapped around in a ponytail. Though his face was marred with many deep scars like an animal had clawed his face. I noted his gray eyes were similar to that of a warlocks'', intelligent, scheming with a hint of plotting, and wondering what they were going to eat for dinner.

"I assume that you two are the ones Metis sent." Prometheus greeted us politely. "I must say I was not expecting…" He paused looking us over clearly being new to seeing titans in their full gear. "Warriors to meet me."

"Warriors we may be but even we are capable of using more than our fists." Saint commented. "You are the one Metis called Prometheus, she believes you can be a help to our cause."

"Depending on the cause, I just might be." Prometheus answered, crossing his arms. "Metis was rather vague about your cause. She said you wanted to protect humanity."

"She is not wrong." I cut in. "Our main goal is to see to it that humanity survives, every man, woman, and child if we can help it."

"But do you have the power to do so." Prometheus asked, holding his chin in thought. He was silent for a fat minute. "Hmm, I can't see your future nor can I truly judge your power." He must have sensed our unsteadiness at the mention of him being able to see our futures because he quickly followed up. "Ah, Metis must not have told you. I am the titan of crafty counsel, foresight, and forethought. As a titan of foresight, I can see glimpses into the future, though I must admit that my ability has become oddly less frequent. If I can't see yours it could mean that you are protecting yourself from my sight or something else is protecting you from my sight."

"Explanations of what we are can come once we know you are with us. Until then you'll have to guess at it." I commented, crossing my arms.

"I understand, I would have done the same." Prometheus replied, smiling ever so slightly. "To that end, I suppose I should give my current position in the world as well as my own goals. I too wish to keep humanity safe yet I do not have many resources to do it myself. As of now, I am working for another titan that wishes to overthrow the current mythical ruling power in this part of the world. Normally I would stay out of it but my foresight has shown me their victory. To that end, I aligned myself with them so that I could advocate for humanity easier than if I did nothing. In the unlikely event that my vision proves to be wrong then I have already written a letter to the current rules of the mythical land that should stop them from actively coming after me."

"He sounds more like a warlock than a titan." Saint commented, I grunted an agreement.

The so-called titan rose an eyebrow at his remark but chose to remain silent.

"I suppose you can say we are new to the dealings going on in this part of the world." I began putting forward our own goals without giving away too much. "I can tell you that a lot of big things are coming towards Earth and that we are preparing humanity for them when they get here."

"Big things you say, that reminds me of a short vision I saw. A moon-sized white object descending upon a city. The moon started to glow then I was blinded by the following flash of light." Prometheus recalled closing his eyes to get a better mental picture. He opened them to see Saint and myself giving each other a knowing stare. "You know what this moon is, don't you."

I looked back over to the titan. "We do, but that information is classified until we know if you're with us."

Prometheus looked away for a moment, taking a few steps away and clasping his hands behind his back. "During my vision, I felt a power the likes I had never felt before. The odd thing is when you flared your powers I felt the same power coming from you." He then looked back at us. "This… being… I saw you two are connected to it. If what I felt in that vision is anything to go by then my current loyalties won't matter. But if I stand with you then I have a feeling I may just live to see humanity truly thrive."

"So, you in?" I asked.

"Yes, but before I leave with you I have but one request." Prometheus added sounding… desperate.

"And that is?" Saint asked.

"Nearby there is a company that is run by a group of warrior women called Amazons." Prometheus explained. "They have something that belongs to me and I would like… it returned to me in one piece."

Saint gave me a questioning look, I shrugged a "why not" reply.

"Alright, we will get this thing of yours." I agreed. "What's it look like?"

The titan produced a small smooth rock from his pocket and handed it to me. "That rock will heat up as you get closer to it."

I took the rock and gave it a quick once over. It looked like any common rock that one would find on a rock bed but I did sense a type of power coming from it. I looked back up at the titan.

"Any reason why you're not telling us what we are looking for?" I asked, giving him a sideways look of mistrust.

"It's personal." He answered hesitantly. "Just please bring… it back to me."

There was a desperation in his voice that I really only heard in parents when it pertained to their children. More times than not that tone only came out when their child was in danger. Given the request, I wasn't about to say no if our new ally's kid was in danger.

I tossed the rock in the air and coughed it with the same hand. "Well we will know what it is soon enough, won't we. So where is this company at?"

"In the industrial district, the company name is Amazon." Prometheus answered, sounding relieved. "I will wait here for your return."

"Uh, Amazon run by Amazonians." I started trying not to laugh. "Who would have thought. Well, we'll be back with your thing before you know it, let's move Saint."

Saint and I began to walk off towards the industrial district that our ghosts marked. After about thirty-five minutes we arrived at the warehouse-sized building with the world's Amazon on the side in yellow. As we approached the front entrances I pulled out the rock in my belt pocket and felt the stone begin to heat up ever so slightly. Placing the rock back in my pocket I asked Sid to ready my weapons just in case things went south. There was no reason sneaking in as we were Titans after all.

We opened the front glass doors to the building and stepped inside. The main lobby was decently sized with chars set off to the side for a waiting room. A few potted plants here and there and a few exotic rugs on the floor. There were also a few solid doors leading to other parts of the building. There was a reception desk manned by a woman who seemed to be busy with something on her computer. Other than her though the lobby was empty.

I walked over to the receptionist who did not seem to notice me. I opted to test something about these people, if they were active in the mythical world then there was a chance that this supposed Amazon could detect me if I flared my light a little. So I did just that, I raised my light level and almost instantly the woman's head shot up to me.

"Greetings, take us to your leader." I smiled behind my helmet; I had always wanted to say that.

"What are you?" She demanded quietly while pressing a button under her desk.

"We are associates of Prometheus, you have something that belongs to him, and he would like it back." As soon as I said that the doors leading to the other parts of the building burst opened and all of sudden, we found ourselves surrounded by women all armed with swords, spears, and other melee weapons.

"We do not have anything that belongs to Prometheus." The receptionist replied, crossing her arms with a slight support smirk. "You also did not answer my question, I ask what you are, not who."

"Think of us as private entities that wish to help humanity-"

"Stop avoiding the question." The woman cut me off. "You and your buddy are not human but you're also not monsters I have encountered before. So, answer the question or we will beat it out of you."

"It would seem that negotiations are not going anywhere brother." Saint voiced his signature shotgun, Perfect Paradox, appearing in his hands.

"It would seem so." I agreed, taking a step back and asking Sid for Invective, the black shotgun appearing in my hands moments later. "But I think it is only fair that we show these women just how outclassed they are."

Saint chuckled. "It's only fair."

Saint and I began to raise our light levels to a point where he might begin to fight a horde of enemies from our time. We both made an effort to hide it given our situation but from the looks on the Amazons' faces, they were getting an idea. Some of them backed away slowly looking nervous, others held their weapons tighter and closer to their bodies, a few even began to shake.

"You will find we are not unreasonable people." Saint began looking around the room. "But to fight us would be suicide. Please, all we want is what belongs to Prometheus. There is no need for senseless bloodshed. Let us retrieve what is his and we will be on our way."

"If Prometheus told you anything about us then you should know what we do not back down from a fight." A new older voice stated.

I turned my head to see an older-looking woman coming out of one of the side doors. Her hair was white and wrinkles lined her face. Though there was still muscle on her bones she was but a shadow of her former self. Green eyes traced my figure taking in every detail before those same eyes shot over to Saint to do the same.

The older woman walked over to the receptionist and lightly touched her shoulder. The woman backed off letting this older woman take the lead with the talks.

"I am Clonia, Queen of the Amazonians." The woman said, straightening herself.

"Well, I suppose it should give you my name." I replied in kind. "I am Onyx, of the Old Guard. My friend over there is Called Saint, Hero of Six Fronts." Saint nodded a greeting.

"Then we meet now, I heard that you are here in the stead of Prometheus." Queen Clonia went on. "I am unaware that we had anything that belonged to him, he wouldn't have happened to tell you what that something was?"

"No, but he gave us the means to find it." I answered, I noticed some more Amazons entering the room, these ones armed with firearms.

The Queen hummed. "It seems to me that he wanted you to fight us. Are you sure that he is not using you to further his own goals? Your power alone would make you difficult to defeat but my Amazonians are among the best fighters in the world, and you are heavily outnumbered. You may kill a few of my warriors but you will never win."

"All the more reason to give us what he wants, if his goal is to have us fight each other. You get to keep going about your day like nothing happened and we deal with Prometheus if our business with him was less than truthful."

The queen leaned back on the reception desk and crossed her arms, clearly unimpressed by my offer. Though it was a wonder that we had not started killing each other given how long negotiations went when a Titan was the one doing the negotiations.

"Unfortunately that is not how we Amazonians do things, we do not simply give things to unknowns without due cause. Especially when they are at a disadvantage."

'Oh, I will show you a disadvantage.' I growled in my head.

"However, I can sense the power you give off." The queen went on. "I imagine you would sire strong children. So I will offer you a chance to surrender. You will find working for us comes with many benefits besides having more than a few women to fornicate with. Though there will be some work you need to do as well."

I let out a slight chuckle. "Counteroffer, we have a little tour of your facility, we find what belongs to Prometheus, we can pay you for it if you are willing and we all leave happy. Because I assure you Queen Clonia, you will not come out on top any other way."

"Then it would seem that we will both lose something today." The queen sighed before standing up. "Take them alive if able, kill them if necessary."

I prepared myself for battle, as did Saint. The woman around us tensed. Both parties waited for the other to make the first move. I readied a soler grenade and prepared to throw it.

"Wait!" A voice called after the entrance doors were flung open.

Everyone turned to see Prometheus running out of breath.

"Wait, allow me to explain why I asked these two here." Prometheus requested after catching his breath.

"Titan Prometheus, you have some nerve showing yourself here, sending people to steal from me." The queen declared glaring at the titan. "I know you are not vile like your fellows but that does not allow you free access to my facilities.

"To my observation, my two associates here came in through your front door and if I am assuming right, they simply asked for him." Prometheus countered. "He is only fifteen years old, all I ask is that you allow me to take him with me."

"Him?" I asked out loud, and it turns out my gut was right. Prometheus was not after an object but a person.

He looked over at me. "Yes, him… more specifically my son. I apologize for not telling you but I feared for my son."

"It would not have changed anything." Saint commented. "In fact, we would have been more willing to go."

"So you had a son," The queen added, taking a more serious position, her eyes flickered over to one of the older-looking Amazon. "I was not told we had a Demi-titan within our workforce. No matter if he is here, it is because he belongs to one of my amazons or will in due time." She whispered the last part.

"Belong!" Saint declared, raising his voice. "This child does not belong to anyone. He should be playing with his peers and other children! Not working in some factory!"

"Agreed," I sounded, tossing my grenade. "Let's show them how Guardians sweep and clear!"

The solar grenade donated next to three Amazons incinerating them in a moment, nothing was left behind. Continuing my attack, I leveled my shotgun with the nearest Amazon and pulled the trigger. The solar-charged pellets tore into the woman, tearing open her torso and sending chunks of bone and internal organs flying. The force of the pellets knocked her down flat on her back in a moment, she was dead before she hit the floor.

Another amazon charged me with a spear. Though a simple side step and a kick to her leg forced her to one knee, her head levelled my waiting shotgun. Much like the first woman, her head was torn open sending blood and gore flying. Another grabbed me from behind her arms wrapping around my arms. Though she held on with all her might she was nowhere near a titan's strength. I easily broke out of her grasp and sent my armored elbow into her face. Her face caved in from the impact.

My radar alerted me to the approach of other Amazons, now haven dealt with my immediate attackers. I unload my last four rounds into them one for each of them. With my shotgun's magazine empty, I holstered the weapon and drew my new auto rifle, and began to put bullets in Amazonian heads, given how they lacked any guardian level armor or hardened hide they each died with one bullet.

My shields flaired to life as the firearm-armed Amazons began to fire at me. Their bullets were easily absorbed by my shields, the primitive firearms doing little to drain my shield bar. I turned my weapon on them, dispatching them with a single bullet for each of them. With my attackers dealt with I turned to Saint who had just headbutted his last Amazon attacker, her head caved in from the impact.

The room was now covered in blood and with bullet holes in the walls. The floor littered with the bodies of Amazons who attacked us. The Queen had fled soon after the fight had broken out, though it did not matter she would have died just the same.

I turned to Prometheus. "What's your son's name?"

"Axiais."

I nodded.

'Sid, any idea where this kid might be?' I asked my ghost.

'Yup, I broke into their network while you were sorting them out. Marking your HUD.'

A waypoint showed up on my HUD. The waypoints were set up to take through the door, but I had a better plan. Heading towards the final waypoint I approached a wall and did as titans do and kicked down the wall. I repeated the process until I knocked down a wall that opened into a large factory floor. There were a bunch of people, human males to be specific, all in an orange jumpsuit and a collar around their necks. Among them were some children just into their teens while others were adults. They all turned to look at us as Saint, Prometheus, and I entered.

I set the speakers on my helmet to maximum. "Greetings, this is a prison break! If you want to leave now is your chance! Now, will the kid named Axiais please make yourself known!"

From the back areas of the factory floor a kid looking similar to Prometheus, but younger, stood up on the machinery he was near. He stood up and raised his hand nervously. I looked over to Prometheus for confirmation, without looking at me he nodded. We made our way over to him, the workers parted at our approach. As he got close the kid hopped down from the machinery he was standing on.

"uh, are you looking for me?" Axiais asked nervously.

"Your father asked us to rescue you." Saint said, kneeling down to the kids' level and gesturing to Prometheus.

The kid adopted a shocked expression as he stared at Prometheus. "Mama said you left to protect me, but you weren't there when the monsters came."

Saint and I turned the titan to see him looking down in shame. He kneeled down like Saint had tears welling up in his eyes.

"I'm sorry my child." Prometheus sorrowfully his voice cracking. "I could not save your mother, I was too weak and too slow. I failed you and your mother. But I swear to you I will be there for you from now on, nothing shall harm you again if I can help it."

Axiais was quiet for a moment before he walked into his father and hugged him. Prometheus returned the hug, the waterworks turning to full as he held his son.

"I hate to interrupt the touching moment but it seems to me that these Amazons may not feel the same way. We need to leave now." I suggested urgently seeing my radar is picking up more hostile contacts.

"Wait, we need to save Ragnar." Axiais spoke up.

"Where is he?" I asked urgently not having time to get an explanation of the kid.

He pointed to the back of the factory floor where a huge and reinforced steel door stood. Wordlessly I jogged over to the door and grabbed onto it. The metal creaked and groaned as my fingers sunk into it. I began to pull causing the door to let out an even louder creaking sound. Soon the door gave away allowing me to toss the two halves to the side.

My eyes went wide at what I saw. Before me was an absolute giant of a man. If I had to guess he was a little over nine feet tall, muscle-bound behemoth. His white hair was shaved close to his skin cept for his scalp that was branded back into a wolf tail. His eyes were a ghostly black that locked onto me as soon as I pulled apart the door. He was shirtless with chains bound to every limb with a large steel collar around his neck with four hefty chains connected to it. A poor stitched orange suit similar to the ones the others had was the only form of clothing he wore.

But his size was not what surprised me. I do not know how, but for some reason, I could feel it.

This Ragnar was to become a titan.

"I don't know about this one Cayde?" Orion said, standing over the Vex teleporter that Cayde kept.

Cayde had the idea that he could program the Vex teleporter to teleport Orion to the nearest light energy. He figured it would shorten the search time, of course, Cayde would not be the one to test it after Cayde had finished calibrating it.

"Don't worry about it, I have all the kinks figured out." Cayde countered before whispering. "Except for the ones I don't know about."

"What was that?"

"Ahah, nothing… uh, Dew, stand by for revival." Cayde added before hitting the activation button.

"Sundance, stand by for revival." Orion started drawing his pistol.

However, before he could take aim the Vex teleporter activated. In the next moment, Orion found himself landing face-first into the water. The hunter pushed himself, his hand finding something surprisingly soft to hold onto to help him up. Though, as he pushed himself up out of the water he could have sworn he heard the sound of a woman letting out a soft moan. Knowing the sound well Orion froze.

'Water... something soft… a woman's moan… crap.' Orion though looking down.

There before him with one of his hands groping her breast was an auburn-haired woman. She was naked clearly in the middle of bathing when Orion dropped in.

'Back at it again I see.' Dewi stated, amused as Orion was a well-known ladies' man.

The woman's eyes began to open and locked with his visor. It only took a moment for the woman to go from dazed to pissed. Before the woman could start throwing insults Orion was up and running in any direction that would take him out of there as soon as possible. He did not make it far until his instinct told him to duck.

Just then a silvery beam of light flew by his head, it would seem that Cayde had not worked out all the kinks. Orion swore to the Traveler that Cayde would be dead by the day's end. But for now, the hunter focused on dodging the incoming bolts while trying to get away from the rightfully pissed-off woman with magic beam powers. Though for some reason this whole situation did feel somewhat familiar to the hunter, as of now he did not have the time to think of the matter as it sounded like more people were joining in the chase.

'Wait are those women the same ones we escaped from that one time?' Dewi asked while the guardian ran.

'Who? Oh, then let's hope not but that is not the problem right now. First we lose them then we find Cayde and murder him dead.' Orion replied, running for his current life.

Anime moment anyone, hehe. Some of you might remember where the above originally came come. I thought it was funny so I reused it in this story. Anyways next is Lords of War!

God bless and if you find a small three-headed blue lizard let someone on the crew know and do NOT pet it!
