Days later...

Kagami's mother, Tomoe Tsurugi was getting out of her private car, and a teenage girl with decisive footsteps bumped right into her shoulder. The impact made her take a step back, but he planted herself firmly, facing the unseen invader of her space. Kagami's mother didn't know but this was no accident. Rather, someone who always had an angle. This girl was none other than Lila Rossi.

"Excuse me! Here let me help you to your door mame. Someone like you shouldn't be out on your own. You must have such a hard time getting around!" the girl's sugary voice sang condescendingly as if addressing a toddler.

"Excuse me!" Kagami's mother shot back fiercely. "What kind of 'someone' do you take me for?! Do you even know who I am! Get your hands off me!" her voice shook with indignant rage. "I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself, especially when clueless children such as yourself don't know enough to watch watch were their going and mind their own business!"

"I didn't mean to offend someone in your condition. Of course you are doing an inspirational job not giving up when things must be so hard on your own," Lila continued with a light pat on the blind woman's shoulder.

Lila was just barely fast enough to dodge the cane that flew up to clip her fingers from her person. Lila just leapt back, and skipped off down the street, calling, "Stay strong!"

"Handle on my own!" huffed Kagami's mother. "I certainly can handle an impertinent little..." she muttered threats, stomping to her front door.

That was when Fei opened the door. "Oh Ms. T, Let me help you with your bags!"

"I don't need help! I've had to handle everything on my own!" Tomoe fumed and her rage at the unknown stranger (Lila) bubbled over, feeding off memories of people discounting her and underestimating her just because she was blind.

"I'm sorry, I just appreciate you letting me stay here, and I was just trying to..." Fei raised her hands up in defense.

Kagami poked her head around the corner, and asked, "Mother, is everything okay?"

Just then it was Kagami who spotted the dark purple butterfly land on her mother's cane.

"Mother! Watch out! Let us help you!" Kagami jumped forward, trying to get across the room to her mother's side.

"Help me?!" The foaming purple outline of her mother stormed. "I've always had to protect you! Help YOU! I'm no burden to anyone! I can handle myself!" Then she swung the door shut in Fei and Kagami's faces and headed straight back to her car. The butterflies of Falfalla fully morphed Mrs. Tsurugi into her akuma form as soon as she made contact with the car. The red and black metallic-like centaur warrior reared back on it's hind hooves. She had returned to the form of Ikari Gozen!

"Once again it is I who must protect this family. This Fei girl has brought danger to our door! If I give this Falfalla this Fei's girl's pennant, all of us will be saved!" she declared as Fei and Kagami stepped out after her.

"This new Hawkmoth is fooling you! You must stand against her mother, and defend Fei. I promised Ladybug Fei would be under our protection!" Kagami called up to her mother.

"You think me a fool now! I know perfectly well how to protect my daughter. Your experiences in Paris, those bad influences you called 'friends,' your naïve trust in that Ladybug...what good did it ever do you?! I've been far to lenient with you. Allowing you to have outside influences who would corrupt you again me," Kagami's mother shouted. Ikari Gozen jumped and snatched up Kagami tightly in her hand, before the fencer could avoid the attack. "I will keep you safe till all of this is over. You'll come to see I am capable of handling things myself as always!"

Kagami squirmed, but her mother had a tight hold on her, and drew her towards her monstrous mouth, intending to swallow her whole and entrap her in the belly of this akumitized beast.

Fei was not about to let her new friend suffer such a fate. She transformed into Lady Dragon, and took the form of a massive eagle. Snatching Kagami out of her hand just in time, she swooped down with her to the front door, and dropped her animal transformation, becoming the red-haired Lady Dragon, and ducking inside. Kagami grabbed her phone from her pocket and hit dial for Ladybug, but only got an answering machine.

"She's not transformed!' she glanced back at Fei's wide eyes as the monster hit against the door like a wreaking ball.

"Isn't there anyone else you could call who might be able to get ahold of her?" Fei asked.

"Kagami, flipped through her contacts. "Maybe someone in Paris who could get the message to her...someone we can trust..." Kagami's finger scrolled to Marinette's contact picture and in unison both Kagami and Fei yelled out "Marinette!"

"Wait! You know Marinettte from Paris? Like Marinette Dupain-Cheng Marinette?!"

"Are you serious?!" You know Marinette?! We're practically like sisters! I would trust her with anything!" Fei said in astonishment.

"Huh!" Kagami looked back thoughtfully, "that's how I feel about her too!" That is when the door was blown off it's hinges followed by a portion of the wall. Both girls were struck in the back, and knocked forward under the rubble.

This time the akuma grabbed the limp body of Lady Dragon, and pulled her up towards her face. With a remorseless yank, she snapped the prodigious from Lady Dragon's neck, leaving the unconscious Fei in her grasp. A vicious welt was left where the prodigious had broke away from it's RenRen's neck. A purple butterfly mask glazed over Ikari Gozen's featured, and she laughed. "I am Falfalla, and the Lord of Chaos is back! Now that the prodigious is ours you will all fall!"

"Mother! No! You don't know what you're doing!" Kagami screamed. Just then Kagami heard Marinette pick up. Frantically she urgently spoke into the receiver, "He has come for Fei! He's back! You've got to get a message to Ladybug! He's going to use the prodigious to..."

Ikari Gozen swiped at Kagami, making Kagami stumble back mid-sentence and drop her phone.

"I know exactly what I'm doing. I will not make apologies for protecting what is dear to me!" akuma replied emotionlessly, and swallowed up the prodigious . Then she unceremoniously tossed Fei to one side, now in pursuit of Kagami.

Fei skidded to a stop under a parked car at the side of the road, which left a nasty scrap down the side of her cheek, and a bloody case of road rash up her shoulder. It was then that she blinked, opening up her eyes that she saw a circular opening appear, like a window into another world. From this bizarre portal Ladybug herself stepped through.
