Disclaimer: I Don't own Doctor Who that goes to the BBC

"Take everyone to the lab!" The Doctor told Rose and Rory as the humans ran through the tunnel with Rose and Eldane as the Doctor followed them as he dodged a laser beam from one of the Silurian guns, "I'll cover you! Go! Go!" The Doctor took a stand as Rose and the others ran as Restac and her warriors arrived as he took out his sonic screwdriver and used it on their guns, "Ah-ah! Stop right there! Or I'll use my very deadly weapon again. One warning, that's all you get. If there can be no deal, you go back into hibernation. All of you. Now. This ends here."

"No. It only ends with our victory," Restac told him.

"Like I said... one warning," the Doctor told her before disabling the last two Silurian guns before running down the tunnels with Rose and the others as Restac growled as he began to chase him.

"Elliot, you and your dad keep your eyes on that screen. Let me know if we get company," the Doctor told Elliot as he approached him after using his sonic screwdriver on the wall to close the door as the door to the decontamination lab slid shut, he then turned to Amy and tossed her the stopwatch that Ambrose had, "Amy, keep reminding me how much time I haven't got."

"OK, 12 minutes till drill impact," Amy told him as Mo and Elliot watched the screen showing the tunnel inside.

"Tony Mack, sweaty forehead, dilated pupils, what're you hiding?" The Doctor asked Tony as he saw that Tony was sitting down next to the console with Nasreen standing behind him before he opened his shirt to reveal that he had green green lines across his chest.

"Tony! What happened?!" Nasreen asked as the Doctor used his sonic screwdriver as a scanner as he scanned the green lines.

"Alaya's sting. She said there's no cure," Tony explained, "I'm dying, aren't I?"

The Doctor then moved to the control panel and placed his sonic screwdriver into it as he checked his readings, "You're not dying, you're mutating."

"You mean he's turning into a Silurian, Doctor?" Rose asked him.

"Possibly, Rose," he told his wife as he placed his screwdriver back in his jacket's pocket, "But, how can I stop it? Decontamination program! Might work - don't know. Eldane, can you run the program on Tony?"

"Doctor, shedload of those creatures coming our way! We're surrounded in here!" Mo told the Time Lord.

"So, question is, how we do stop the drill, given we can't get there in time? Plus also, how do we get out, given that we're surrounded?" The Doctor asked before turning to Nasreen as Eldane helped Tony to the decontamination chamber, "Nasreen, how d'you feel about an energy pulse, channelled up through the tunnels to the base of the drill?"

"To blow up my life's work?" Nasreen asked him.

"Sorry, it seems that we're gonna ave to, Nasreen," Rose told Nasreen.

" Right, well, you're going to have to do it before the drill hits the city, in…" Nasreen began.

"11 minutes, 40 seconds…" Amy told her.

"Yes! Squeaky bum time!" the Doctor told her as he stood back at the console.

"Yes, but the explosion is going to cave in all the surrounding tunnels so we have to be on the surface by then," Nasreen told them.

"But we can't get past Restac's troops," Rory told them.

"I can help with that... Toxic Fumigation - an emergency failsafe meant to protect my species from infection. A warning signal to occupy cryo-chambers. After that, citywide fumigation, by toxic gas. Then the city shuts down," Eldane told them as he walked towards them.

"You could end up killing your own people," Amy told him.

"She's right. What if you end up killing the rest of your tribe?" Rose asked the Silurian.

"Only those foolish enough to follow Restac," Eldane explained.

"Eldane, are you sure about this?" The Doctor asked him.

"My priority is my race's survival. The Earth isn't ready for us to return yet," Eldane answered.

"No," the Doctor told them.

"10 minutes, Doctor," Amy told the Doctor.

"But maybe it should be. So here's the deal. Everybody listening? Eldane, you activate shutdown... I'll amend the system, set your alarm for 1,000 years' time," the Doctor said as Eldane went to the controls, "1,000 years, to sort the planet out. To be ready. Pass it on. As legend, or prophecy, or religion, but somehow, make it known. This planet is to be shared."

"Yeah. I get you," Elliot told him as the Doctor snapped his finger at him.

"Nine minutes, seven seconds," Amy told them.

"Yes, fluid controls, my favourite! Energy pulse timed, primed and set. Before we go, energy barricade, need to cancel it out - quickly," the Doctor said as he joined Eldane at the controls before using his sonic screwdriver on the controls as the barricade went down.

"Fumigation pre-launching," Eldane announced.

"There's not much time for us to get from here to the surface, Doctor!" Rory told the Time Lord as he approached him at the controls.

"Don't worry, Rory, there will be," Rose told him as she approached him.

"Ah-ha, super-squeaky bum time! Get ready to run for your lives. Now…" the DOctor told everyone.

"But the decontamination program on your friend hasn't started yet," Eldane told the Doctor, causing everyone to look at Tony in the decontamination chamber.

"Well, go. All of you! Go," Tony told everyone.

"No, we're not leaving you here!" Ambrose protested.

"Granddad!" Elliot said as he ran towards Tony and hugged him.

"Eight minutes, 10 seconds," Amy told them.

"Now you look after your mum. You mustn't blame her. She only did what she thought was right Tony told his grandson.

"I'm not going to see you again, am I?" Elliot asked him.

"I'll be here," Tony said as he touched Elliot's heart, "Always. I love you, boy," he then hugged him, tightly before turning to his daughter, "You be sure he gets home safe!"

"This is my fault," Ambrose said as Elliot went to Mo who pulled him close.

"No, I can't go back up there. I'd be a freak show. The technology down here's my only hope," Tony told her as he hugged his daughter.

"I love you, Dad," Ambrose told Tony as he hugged her.

"Go. Go. Come on.. Go on," Tony told everyone as he let go of her as Eldane activated the fumigation.

"Toxic fumigation initiated," the female voice on the speaker system said and began to repeat itself multiple times.

"They're going! We're clear!" Amy said as she saw every Silurian except for Restac leave the door to the Lab.

"OK. Everyone follow Nasreen. Look for a blue box. Get ready to run," the Doctor said as he used his sonic screwdriver on the door as it slid open before he turned to Eldane, "I'm sorry."

"I thought for a moment, our race, and the humans…" Eldane began to say.

"Yeah. Me too," the Doctor told him, agreeing with him.

"I thought so as well," Rose said, agreeing with them.

"Doctor! Rose! We've got less than six minutes," Amy told both Gallifreyans.

"Go! Go! I'm right behind you!" The Doctor told them as Rose and the others rushed out of the room as he turned to Nasreen, "Let's go."

"I'm not coming either." Nasreen told the Time Lord.

"What?" The Doctor said with shock.

Ambrose, Elliot, Mo, Rory, Amy and Rose ran through the tunnels before Amy and Rose saw that the Doctor wasn't following them.

"For Rassilon's sake! Don't worry, Amy, keep leading them to the Tardis, I'll get my husband," Rose told Amy as she ran back to get the Doctor as Amy continued to lead the others to the Tardis.

"We're going to hibernate with them, me and Tony," Nasreen explained as she stood next to Tony as she placed her hand on his arm.

"Doctor, you must go!" Eldane told the Time Lord.

"I can be decontaminated when we're woken. All the time in the world," Tony said as he looked at Nasreen.

"But... Nasreen... you…" The Doctor said as he began to stutter.

"No. This is perfect. I don't want to go. I've got what I was digging for. I can't leave when I've only just found it," Nasreen said as she walked up to the Doctor.

"Theta!" Rose yelled as she entered the lab behind him.

"Thank you, Doctor," Nasreen told the Doctor.

"The pleasure was all mine," he said as he hugged her before grabbing Rose's hand and headed for the door.

"Come and look for us," Nasreen told them.

"We will, Nasreen!" Rose told her as the doors to the lab closed as they slid shut.

As the alarm blares, the Silurian soldiers walked back into the cryo-chambers as the fumes began pumping through the tunnel and the larger chamber.

"Immediate evacuation…" the female voice on the speaker system said as the Doctor and Rose met up with Amy and Rory and ran up to them.

"The Tardis is the other way!" Rose told Amy and Rory.

"Toxic fumigation is about to commence," the female voice on the speaker system announced.

Mo, Elliot and Ambrose stopped and paused as they saw the outside of the Silurian civilization below them as the Doctor, Rose, Amy and Rory joined them and kept running as the female voice on the speaker system repeated it's announcement.

"Come on!" The Doctor told Mo, Elliot and Ambrose as they ran through the cavern as they soon arrived in the tunnel where the Tardis was, "No questions, just get in! And yes, I know it's big!" The Doctor then used his key to unlock the Tardis and ushers the family inside, "Ambrose, sickbay up the stairs, left, then left again... get yourself fixed up. Come on! Five minutes and counting…"

"Doctor, look," Rose said as she saw a crack on the tunnel wall as she noticed that it was the same one from Amy's bedroom when she was a kid and when they were on the Byzantium with River, causing the Doctor to turn around and see the crack as well.

"Not here. Not now. It's getting wider," the Doctor told them.

"The crack on my bedroom wall," Amy muttered as she remembered when the Doctor fixed her bedroom wall when she was a little girl after the Doctor and Rose regenerated into their current bodies.

"And the Byzantium. All through the universe - rips in the continuum," the Doctor said as he walked up to the wall and squatted down as he remembered when he learned that the crack was from a Total Event Collapse when they were on the Byzantium and began to study the crack as he was fascinated by it, "Some sort of space-time cataclysm. An explosion, maybe. Big enough to put cracks in the universe. But what?"

"Four minutes 50... We have to go!" Amy said as she checked the stopwatch.

"The Angels laughed, when me and Rose didn't know. Prisoner Zero knew, everybody knows, except us!" The Doctor told her.

"Doctor, just leave it," Amy told the Time Lord.

"Listen to her, Theta, we can find out later," Rose told her husband.

"But where there's an explosion, there's shrapnel," the Doctor said as he pulled out a red hankie from a pocket inside his jacket and walked towards the crack.

"Doctor, you can't put your hand in there!" Rory told him.

"Why not?" The Doctor asked him as he placed his hand inside the crack, holding the hankie and cried in pain as the light got brighter as Rose, Amy and Rory watched nervously, not knowing what to do, "I've got something!"

"What is it?" Amy and Rose both asked at the same time.

"I don't know," the Doctor answered as he fell to the ground, clutching the item wrapped in the hankie as it sizzled with heat and energy.

"Doctor!" Rory yelled as he saw Restac crawling into the tunnel as the Doctor jumped off of the ground.

"She was there, when the gas started... She must've been poisoned," Amy told them.

"You!" Restac yelled at the Doctor with anger.

"OK, get in the Tardis, all three of you," the Doctor told Rose, Amy and Rory as he reached into his jacket's pocket.

"You did this," Restac told him with anger as she aimed her gun at him.

"Doctor!" Rory yelled as he pushed the Doctor out of the way and was shot as he pushed the Time Lord out of the way.

"Rory!" Amy yelled as she went to his side as he groaned in pain on the ground as Restac died.

"Rory, can you hear me?" The Doctor asked as he used his sonic screwdriver on him.

"I don't understand," Rory said with confusion.

"Shh-shh. Don't talk," Amy said as she stroked his face, "Doctor, is he OK? We have to get him into the Tardis!"

"We were on the hill. I can't die here," Rory told them.

"This is a flux point in time, Rory, time can change here," Rose told Rory as she was sad as well, but not as sad as Amy was.

"Don't say that," Amy said as she was tearful.

"You're so beautiful... I'm sorry," Rory told Amy as he passed away.

"Doctor, Rose, help him," Amy pleaded with both Gallifreyans.

Both the Doctor and Rose looked at the crack and saw tendrils of light reaching out, touching Rory's feet as they remembered the crack from the Byzantium and when each of the clerics headed towards the crack on that ship.

"Amy, move away from the light, if it touches you you'll be wiped from history. Amy, move away now," the Doctor told her.

"Do as he says, Amy, we're not losing another companion," Rose told her.

"No! I am not leaving him! We have to help him!" Amy told them.

"The light's already around him, we can't help him," the Doctor told her as he grips her gently by the shoulders.

"I am not leaving him!" Amy told him.

"We have to," the Doctor told her.

"Amy, he's right, if we stay here, then all of us will be erased from existence as well and every one of our species would be extinct," Rose told him.

"No!" Amy yelled.

"Sorry!" The Doctor said as he began to grab Amy. and lifts her up.

"Get off me!" Amy yelled as he dragged her towards the Tardis.

"Sorry!" He said as he lifted her up and dragged her to the Tardis.

"Get off me!" Amy orders as he pushes her inside the Tardis as he and Rose entered the Tardis as well.

"Rose, lock the doors," the Doctor told his wife as she took out her Sonic Screwdriver and locked the doors with it.

"No! No! No!" Amy yelled as she rushed back towards the Tardis doors, "Rose, open the door!"

"I can't," Rose answered as Amy shouted as she pounded on the Tardis' doors.

"Let me out, please let me out... I need to get Rory," Amy yelled as both the Doctor and Rose walked determinedly to the console as Amy turned around with tears streaming down her cheeks from her eyes before walking towards the monitor as she saw the tendrils from the crack touching Rory's dead body, "That light, if his body's absorbed I'll forget him. He'll never have existed. You can't let that happen," the Doctor then pulled a lever on the console down while Rose was setting the coordinates to the Earth's surface, "What are you two doing?" She then ran towards the console, "Doctor! Rose! No!"

The Tardis then began to dematerialize from below the Earth's surface and as it dematerializes, Rory's body gets wrapped around by the light from the crack.

"No! No! Doctor, we can't just leave him there!" Amy said as she began to beat her hands against the Doctor's chest as he hugged her as Rose approached her and hugged her too.

"Keep him in your mind. Don't forget him. If you forget him, you'll lose him forever," the Doctor told her.

"On the Byzantium, I still remembered the Clerics because I am a time traveller, now you said," Amy reminded him.

"Amy, those people weren't part of your world," Rose told him, "This is your personal history."

"Rose is right, they weren't part of your world," the Doctor said as he gripped her head in his hands.

"Don't either of you tell me it's going to be OK. You both have to make it OK," Amy told both Gallifreyans.

"It's going to be hard, but you can do it, Amy," the Doctor said as he took her to the jump seat and kneeled in front of her while Rose stood next to them, "Tell me and Rose about Rory. Fantastic Rory, funny Rory, gorgeous Rory. Amy, listen to me. Do exactly as I say. Amy, please. Keep concentrating. You can do this."

"I can't," Amy told them.

"Yes you can, Amy," Rose told her, "Me and the Doctor can't do anything, only you can do it."

"Rose is right, Amy, only you can do it. we can't help you unless you do. Come on. We can still save his memory. Come on, Amy. Please…" the Doctor told her as Amy began to forget Rory, "Come on, Amy, come on. Amy, please. Don't let anything distract you," Amy continued to forget Rory as she remembered her adventure with the Doctor and Rose in Venice, "Remember Rory. Keep remembering, Rory is only alive in your memory. You must keep hold of him. Don't let anything distract you. Rory still lives in your mind."

The Tardis jars as it finished materializing as it reached the Earth's surface, knocking all three of them to the floor as the box containing the engagement ring falls in front of the Doctor as he stares at it.

"What were you saying?" Amy asked, brightly as she now has forgotten who Rory even was as both Gallifreyans could only stare at her as they realized that she has forgotten who Rory was.

"I have seen some things today, but this is beyond mad," Mo said as he and Elliot walked down the stairs as they entered the console room.

"Doctor! Rose! Five seconds till it all goes up!" Amy said as she looked at the stop watch.

The Tardis had materialized in the graveyard overlooking the drill site. They all watched as it exploded.

A while later, Elliot, Amy and Mo walked through the graveyard as the Doctor and Ambrose stood at the entry to the church.

"All Nasreen's work just erased," Amy told them.

"Good job she's not here to see it. She's going to give Tony hell when they wake up," Mo told her.

"Doctor, you could've let those things shoot me. You saved me," Ambrose told the Doctor.

"He saved you, because everyone deserves a second chance," Rose explained.

"Rose is right and an eye for an eye. It's never the way. Now you show your son how wrong you were. How there's another way. You make him the best of humanity... in the way you couldn't be," the Doctor said, agreeing with Rose as he looked at Ambrose with a gentle smile before both Gallifreyans left the area.

"You're both very quiet," Amy told the Doctor and Rose as they walked towards the Tardis before she saw herself in the distance, this time without Rory as she waved to herself, "Oh! Hey! Look! There I am again! Hello, me!"

"Are you OK?" the Doctor asked her.

"I thought I saw someone else there for a second," Amy told him, "I need a holiday. Didn't we talk about Rio?"

'Theta, I think Rory's probably still in Amy's subconscious because she just said that she thought she saw someone else with her future self for a second,' Rose told her husband with their bond.

'I think so as well, Arkytior,' the Doctor said, agreeing with her with their bond as he unlocked the Tardis' door for Amy as he turned to her, "You go in. Just fix this lock, keeps jamming."

"You boys and your locksmithery, come on, Rose," Amy said as she entered the Tardis as Rose followed her inside the Tardis as she closed the door behind them as the Doctor unwrapped the item he took from within the crack and saw that It was a piece of something with words written on it, very familiar words to him and held it up to the Tardis sign and saw that it matches as he realized that the Tardis is probably what's causing the Total Event Collapse to happen with the cracks.

And should I have Jenny, the Doctor and Rose's daughter to appear in the Pandorica Opens?
