Aria stood in front of the courthouse. She was nervous about going in there. Nervous about seeing her parents again after the attack on her a year ago.

Sebastian stood beside her "are you ready?" He asked her. Aria sighed and nodded as they began to walk up the steps to meet with her lawyer.

Her lawyer told her she had enough proof to put them away for a while. He told her that would be charged for attempt of murder since she could have died if they did anymore damage to her.

When she and Sebastian walked inside they saw the whole town there to support her. She was glad they were all here. "Are you ready?" Her lawyer asked her. Aria nodded as she followed him to their table.

Minutes passed by but there was still no sign of her parents. Where were they? Aria began to wonder when her phone vibrated. When she looked at it there was a video message by an unknown number. Her stomach immediately dropped.

Aria handed the phone to her lawyer "will you please open the video? I cant do it ,something doesn't feel right about it." She begged him.

Her laywer nodded before opening the video message. It was from Ren. He had her parents tied up with a gun pointed at her father's head. "Aria if you are watching this ,know that I'm doing this to win your love back." He said in the video before he fired the gun.

The bullet went through both her parent's skulls killing them both instantly. While Ren stood there covered in their blood laughed crazily. Her lawyer took her phone and walked to the judges office and showed him.

The judge made the phone call to the police to apprehend Ren and arrest him for voluntary manslaughter. Aria was brought back to the judges office to tell him everything she knew about Ren.

"So what you are telling me is that he had tried to win you back a almost a year ago but turned him down and haven't had any communication since then?" The judge asked.

Aria nodded "yes your honor that is correct. From the moment I left the city I blocked my parents numbers and his number. I didmt want anyone to find me on account of what they put me through." She told him.

She was trying to hold back tears. Yeah she didn't have to worry about her parents coming after her anymore. But they were still her parents. They were the ones that gave her life. And before they turned to drinking they were actually a happy family.

The judge sighed "ok the case between you and your parents will be closed. But I'm afraid this one you will have to testify against Ren when the time comes for his court hearings." He told her. Aria nodded before the judges phone rang and when he answered it Aria knew it wasn't good news.

She watched him hang the phone up "scratch that there will be no need for you to testify. Ren was killed while he tried to fire his gun at one of the officers. I'm sorry that you wont get any justice for your parents." The judge told her.

Aria nodded "I understand." She told him. The judge looked at her and sighed "I will have someone call to let you know when you can make funeral arrangements for your parents. Their house is a crime scene right now but when they deem it no longer one it will be yours." He told her.

Aria nodded "I understand. I will make a phone call to Ren's mother to let her know about her son." She told him. The judge nodded at her before dismissing Aria from his office. When she walked out Sebastian ran to her "let's get you to the hotel." He told her. Aria looked around and notice the courtroom was empty.

She figured everyone went home since they were no longer needed now. "Lewis had everyone go home but I'm not leaving you not until we get everything done here." He told her. Aria nodded as she took his hand and walked out of the courthouse.

Aria's mind was racing as they reached their room. But once they stepped inside Aria broke down into tears. Sebastian led her to they bed and sat her down and held her. "Its ok I'm here." He told her. Aria sobbed uncontrollably before trying to talk "does it make me a bad person for being glad they are gone? Like I'm sad too really I am but I'm so happy that they will never hurt me again or our children." She said.

Sebastian held her close to him "I will never know the horrors you went through on a daily basis but know this. You are the most strong, brave, and caring person that i have ever met. I am proud to have you as my wife" he whispered softly.

Aria smiled slightly "really?" She asked. Sebastian nodded "of course! I would never lie to you." He told her.

Aria smiled before taking her phone out. "I guess I better call Ren's mom and let her know what happened." She said. Sebastian nodded knowing this wasn't going to be easy for her. He was worried about her and their children. He should have had Harvey stay and make sure the twins were ok.

When Aria hung up the phone she sighed. "Well she knows. She's not mad at me and doesn't blame me or so she says. She said he hadn't been acting right since he came home." She said. Sebastian nodded there was no way that this was her fault. "Why don't we get some food and do some shopping for the babies rooms." He suggested.

Aria smiled and nodded they haven't gotten much of anything yet so the thought cheered her up. She grabbed her purse and followed Sebastian out door shutting it behind her
