Three Months Later…July, 1969 in the Valley of the Gods in Utah, it was daytime as Amy was running through the desert with two government SUV cars chasing her as she had a pen on a lanyard around her neck.
"Suspect directly ahead," one of the government agents said.
"Coming to you now," Canton told the government agent, "Over."
Amy stopped as she reached the edge of a small ledge where the two SUVs cars converged behind her as a number of agents stepped out with Canton leading them in front.
"Canton," Amy greeted him.
"Miss Pond," Canton greeted her as he motioned to one of the other agents who spreads something out on the ground.
"Is that a body bag?" She asked him.
"Yes, it is," he answered.
"It's empty," she noted.
"How about that," he told her.
"Do you even know why you're doing this, eh? Can you even remember? The warehouse?" She asked him.
Three months earlier, back in the warehouse, Amy helped Canton while Amy stared at the girl in the spacesuit as Jenny regained consciousness while Jack took a huge gasp of air as he came back to life.
"Amy! Amy!" Both the Doctor and Rose yelled as Rory and River climbed up from the tunnels as they all rushed back towards the TARDIS.
"What the hell's going on?" Canton asked.
"Look behind you," Jack told him.
"There's nothing behind me!" Canton told him.
"Yes, there is Canton, look!" Rose told him, agreeing with Jack.
Canton then turned and saw one of the aliens walking towards him.
"Canton," the alien hissed at him.
Canton fired his pistol at Amy and she fell to the ground and saw that there were tally marks in pen on her arm.
Inside a large hangar within Area 51 in the state of Nevada, there were armed guards stationed around an open area in the middle. Canton walked up to it, past signs that read, 'Do Not Approach The Prisoners'. The prisoners in question were the Doctor and Captain Jack Harkness. Their hair was longer and now had beards. Both of them were now in straightjackets and were chained to two chairs. There is a yellow circle painted around them.
"All visitors to remain behind the yellow line," the PA system said, "All visitors to remain behind the yellow line."
"We found Amy Pond. She had strange markings on her arm," Canton said as he held up photos of Amy's arms with the markings on them, "Do either of you know what they are?" He then threw the folder closer so the Doctor and Jack could both see it.
"Why don't you ask her?" The Doctor asked him.
Canton doesn't answer and both the Doctor and Jack looked at each other as they realized what happened.
Meanwhile between the states of Idaho, Wyoming and Montana, Rose and Jenny were running from the government agents at Yellowstone National Park. The two Gallifreyan women, who both had the same markings that Amy had on their arms, were running past old faithful when Canton and a bunch of other government agents surrounded them on all sides.
"Canton, please don't shoot us," Rose pleaded.
"Listen to Mum, Canton, don't shoot either of us," Jenny said, pleading with Canton as well.
"Sorry, Ladies. But I have my orders," Canton said before firing his pistol at both Time Ladies.
In New York City, it was dark out at night as River was in an office that was under construction. She also has tally marks on her arms like Amy and both Time Ladies. She walked through nervously and gasped when she heard a pipe fall. There were more aliens.
"I see you!" River said as she took out a pen and marked her arm, "I see you!"
"Doctor Song," Canton called out to River as he and his fellow government agents arrived, causing her to turn around, "Doctor Song?" River looked back to where the aliens were and saw that they were gone before she began to run, "Go, go, go!" She then stopped when she reached the open side of the building, "Don't move! It's over!"
"They're here, Canton. They're everywhere," River told him.
"I know. America's being invaded," Canton told him.
"You were invaded a long time ago," she told him, "America is occupied."
"You're coming with us, Dr Song. There's no way out, this time," he told her.
"There's always a way out," she said as she stretched her arms out and fell backwards out of the building.
"We found Dr Song," Canton told both the Doctor and Jack as two scientists were building a wall of black stone around them as they watched with great interest
"These bricks, what are they made of?" The Doctor asked.
"Where is she?" Jack asked him.
"She ran. Off the 50th floor," Canton answered.
"I'd say zero balanced dwarf star alloy. The densest material in the universe. Nothing gets through that. You're building us the perfect prison," the Doctor said as two of the bricks were joined together before he faced Canton, "And it still won't be enough."
At Glen Canyon Dam in Arizona, Rory burst out of a door onto the road across the dam to find both sides blocked by government agents. His face, arms and neck were all covered with tally marks. He looked over the side, contemplating a jump. He puts up his hands and turns to face Canton.
"What are you waiting for?" Rory asked him.
"I'm waiting for you to run," Canton answered as Rory lowered his arms, "It'll look better if I shot you while you were running. Then again, looks aren't everything." Canton raised his gun as Rory closed his eyes before shooting him as a gunshot was heard as Rory fell to the ground.
Back at Area 51, Canton walked into the hangar, four soldiers dragging body four bags. The Doctor and Jack's cell was complete as the soldiers dragged the bags inside.
"Is there a reason you're doing this?" Jack asked him.
"I want you and the Doctor to know where you both stand," Canton explained.
"In a cell," the Doctor added.
"In the perfect cell," Canton said, agreeing with the Doctor as the soldiers left the cell, "Nothing can penetrate these walls. Not a sound, not a radio wave." He then inserted his fingers into holes in the wall as the door slid shut, "Not the tiniest particle of anything. In here, you both are literally cut off from the rest of the universe. So I guess they can't hear us, right?"
"Good work, Canton. Door sealed?" The Doctor asked him.
"You bet," Canton answered as the Doctor and Jack both stood up and shook off the chains they had on and removed their straightjackets just as the body bags sit up as the Doctor unzipped Rose's bag.
"You OK, Arkytior?" He asked her.
"I am, Doctor," she answered as she pulled him into a long kiss for a minute before she unzipped Jenny's bag.
"Thanks, Mum," Jenny told her mother.
"No problem, sweetheart," Rose told her daughter as Canton helped Amy as he unzipped her bag.
"Finally," Amy told him as the Doctor unzipped Rory's bag.
"These things could really do with air holes," Rory complained.
"It's not that bad for me and Jenny, Rory," Rose told him, "We have Respiratory Bypass Systems that can allow us to go without breathing for longer periods of time than you."
"Never had a complaint before," Canton said as the Doctor stretched his arms as Amy climbed out of her bag.
"Isn't it going to look odd that you're staying in here with us?" Amy asked Canton.
"Odd, but not alarming," Canton answered, "They know there's no way out of this place."
"Exactly. Whatever they might think we're doing in here, they know we're not going anywhere," the Doctor said as with a snap of his braces, the Doctor leaned to the side and on the TARDIS. He snaps his fingers and the doors open.
"Whoa! You can open the TARDIS with a snap of your fingers?" Jack asked with surprise.
"It's something that we learned from River when we met her in the Library with Donna," Rose explained, "It only works for me and the Doctor."
"Shall we?" The Doctor asked, smiling as he, Rose, Jack, Jenny, Amy and Rory ran into the TARDIS.
"What about Dr Song?" Canton asked as he followed them into the TARDIS, "She dove off a rooftop!"
"Don't worry. She does that," the Doctor reassured him as he closed TARDIS's doors as he ran to the console, where Rose was already working with the controls, "Jack, Jenny, Amy, Rory, open all the doors to the swimming pool." They then went to do what they were told.
River turned her fall into a dive as she went through the open TARDIS doors as water splashed up.
"So, we know they're everywhere. Not just a landing party, an occupying force. And they've been here a very, very long time. But nobody knows that, 'cause no one can remember them," the Doctor explained as he now had his tweed jacket back on as he walked around the console, using the controls as River entered the console room, drying her hair with a towel.
"So what are they up to?" Canton asked.
"No idea. But the good news is...we've got a secret weapon," the Doctor told him as he ran to the door and exited the TARDIS as it materialized somewhere else in America and as they stepped out, they saw a space shuttle standing next to a launch pad as they saw Cape Kennedy in the distance.
"Apollo 11's your secret weapon?" Jack, who now had his World War II coat back on, asked.
"If it is, then that'd be a stupid plan," Rose said.
"It would definitely be a dumb plan, Mum," Jenny said, agreeing with her mother.
"No, no, it's not Apollo 11, that would be silly," the Doctor told them, "It's Neil Armstrong's foot."
In a thunderstorm, a black sedan entered the grounds of an orphanage at night and pulled up in front of the large building that had seen better days.
"In just a few days mankind will set foot on the moon for the first time. Today the President reaffirmed America's commitment…" The radio said as it was on
Canton turned off the radio and looked at Amy in the passenger seat with Rose in the back seat. They were dressed like agents in black suits.
"Ready. Check?" Canton asked her.
Amy looked at the palm of her left hand, "Clear."
"Clear," Rose said as she looked at the palm of her hand.
"Clear," Canton said as he looked at the palm of his hand as well before the three of them exited the car as Canton rubbed his left palm with his right index finger.
Earlier inside the Tardis, the Doctor, who had cut his hair a bit and shaved his beard, held a gun-like object as he used it to inject something into Canton's hand.
"Ow!" Canton cried.
"So, three months, what have we found out?" The Doctor asked as he injected something into Rose's hand as well.
"Theta, that hurt!" Rose cried.
"Well, they are everywhere. Every state in America," Rory answered as the Doctor injected into his hand as well, "Ow!"
"Not just America, the entire world," Rose added.
"Exactly, Rose," the Doctor said, agreeing with her as he walked over to Jenny and injected something into her hand as well.
"Dad!" Jenny cried.
"There's a greater concentration here though," River added as the Doctor injected something into Jack's hand as well.
"That hurt, Doc," Jack told him as he had cut his hair a bit and shaved his beard as the Doctor injected something into Amy's hand as well.
"Ow!" Amy cried.
"You OK?" The Doctor asked her.
"All better," she answered.
"Better?" Rose asked as she walked over to her.
"Turns out I was wrong. I'm not pregnant," she told them.
"What's up?" Rory asked as he walked over to her.
"Nothing," she answered, "Really, nothing, seriously."
"So you've seen them, but you don't remember them," Canton said.
"You've seen them too. That night at the warehouse, remember?" Jenny told him, "While you were pretending to hunt us down we saw hundreds of those things. We still don't know what they look like."
"It's like they edit themselves out of your memory as soon as you look away," Rory added, "The exact second you're not looking at them, you can't remember anything."
"Sometimes you feel a bit sick though, but not always," Amy said, remembering that she felt sick after seeing one of the aliens when she was in the Oval Office.
"So that's why you marked your skin?" Canton surmised.
"It was the only way we'd know if we'd had an encounter," Rose explained.
"How long have they been here?" Canton asked.
"That's what we've spent three months trying to find out," Amy told him.
"Not easy, if you can't remember anything you discover," Rory added.
"But how long do you think?" Canton asked.
"As long as there's been something in the corner of your eye, or creaking in your house, or breathing under your bed, or voices through a wall. They've been running your lives for a very long time now, so keep this straight in your head. We are not fighting an alien invasion, we're leading a revolution. And today the battle begins," the Doctor answered.
"How?" Canton asked.
"Like this," the Doctor said as he reaches back and injected something into River's hand.
"Ow!" River cried.
"Ha-ha! Nano recorder. Fuses with the cartilage in your hand," he explained before injecting one into his hand, "Ow! Then it tunes itself directly to the speech centres in your brain. It'll pick up your voice, no matter what. Telepathic connection. So the moment you see one of the creatures, you activate it. And describe aloud exactly what you're seeing."
He then pressed his palm again and playback of his voice began playing, "And describe aloud exactly what you're seeing."
"Because the moment you break contact, you're going to forget it happened. The light will flash if you've left yourself a message. You keep checking your hand. If you've had an encounter that's the first you'll know about it," the Doctor explained.
"Why didn't you tell me this before we started?" Canton asked.
"I did. But even information about these creatures erases itself over time," the Doctor told him before he pressed a few buttons on the console, "I couldn't refresh it, 'cause I couldn't talk to you."
Canton glanced over his shoulder and then straightened the Doctor's Bow tie as the others watched him, "What? What are you staring at?"
"Look at your hand," Jack answered.
"Why's it doing that?" Canton asked as he looked at the palm of his hand, which was flashing red.
"What does it mean if the light's flashing? What did I just tell you?" The Doctor asked him.
"I haven't…" Canton began to say.
"Play it," the Doctor said as Canton pressed his palm.
"My God, how did it get in here?" A recording of Canton's voice asked.
"Keep eye contact with the creature and when I say, turn back, and when you do, straighten my bow tie," the recording of the Doctor's voice said.
"What? What are you staring at?" The recording of Canton's voice asked as he slowly turned around.
"Look at your hand," the recording of Jack's voice said.
Standing in the TARDIS was one of the aliens.
"It's a hologram, extrapolated from a photo on Amy's phone. Take a good long look," the Doctor explained before it dissipated, "You just saw an image of one of the creatures we're fighting. Describe it to me." He then snapped his fingers.
"I can't," Canton answered.
"No. Neither can I," the Doctor told him, "You straightened my bow tie because I planted the idea in your head while you were looking at the creature."
"So they could do that to people. You could be doing stuff and not really knowing why you're doing it," Rose told them.
"Like post hypnotic suggestion," Rory added.
"Ruling the world with post hypnotic suggestion," Jenny remarked.
"Now then, a little girl in a space suit. They got the suit from NASA, but where did they get the girl?" The Doctor asked.
"Could be anywhere," Canton told him.
"Except they probably stayed close to that warehouse, 'cause why bother doing anything else? And they take her from somewhere to cause the least amount of attention. But you'll have to find her. I'm off to NASA," the Doctor told them as he used the scanner to zoom in on possible coordinates in Florida.
"Find her? Where do we look?" Canton asked him.
"Children's homes," the Doctor answered.
Canton knocked on the door of the orphanage as a man opened it as he, Amy and Rose stood at the doorstep.
"Hello," the man greeted them.
"FBI. You must be Dr Renfrew," Canton said as he showed him his FBI credentials, "Can we come in?"
"The children are asleep," Renfrew told them.
"We'll be very quiet," Rose reassured him.
"Is there a problem?" Renfrew asked them.
"It's about a missing child," Rose explained.
"What are you...?" Renfrew asked with confusion, "Yes, yes, come in, please."
Amy pushed the door open as they followed Renfrew inside. The architectures inside the house showed that it was once beautiful but it is now very dilapidated with paint chipping from the walls as well as signs of damp. Painted on the walls in large red letters are demands such as 'GET OUT' and 'LEAVE NOW'.
"This way. Please excuse the writing. It keeps happening. I try to clean it up," Renfrew said as he led the trio upstairs.
"It's the kids, yeah? They do that?" Amy asked.
"Yes. The children. It must be, yes," Renfrew said as he reached out to wipe the wall with a cloth as Amy, Rose and Canton saw the words 'GET OUT' written on his wrist, "Anyway, my office is this way."
"We nearly didn't come to this place. I understood Graystark Hall was closed in '67," Canton told him.
"That's the plan, yes," Renfrew said.
"The plan?" Amy asked.
"Not long now," Renfrew added.
"It's 1969," Canton told him.
"No, no. We close in '67," Renfrew told him, "That's the plan, yes."
"You misunderstood him, sir. The year is 1969 now," Rose told him.
"Why are you saying that?" Renfrew asked her, "Of course, it isn't."
"July," Canton added.
"My office is this way, this way," Renfrew said as he veered off to a smaller stairway.
"I'll check upstairs," Amy told them.
"Be careful," Rose said as she and Canton followed Renfrew as Amy continued going upstairs and pushed the door open to a dorm room. There were a number of bed frames lined on either side of the room. Painted on the wall was the message 'LEAVE ME ALONE'.
The Doctor was working on a myriad of wires in the module of Apollo 11 when his phone rang as he put on the earpiece so he could keep working, "Amy?"
"I think we've found the place she was taken from," Amy told him.
"How do you know?" He asked her
"'Cause those things have been here. But the whole place is deserted," she replied over the phone.
"There's just one guy here and I think he's lost it," she went on.
"Repeated memory wipes fry your head eventually," he explained, "Find out what you can, but don't hang around."
"Where are you?" She asked him.
"Gotta go! Got company!" The Doctor said as he ended the call and sat up as the door was open and men were looking in on him, "Don't worry. I put everything back the way I found it," he had a piece in his hand, "Except this. There's always a bit left over, isn't there?"
Amy put away her phone as she continued to walk through the window until the door slammed shut behind her, causing her to whirl around wondering if she was alone or not. She then ran for the door and, as she tried the knob, she saw markings on her hand. She turned her hand over and saw red flashing. She pressed her palm with her other thumb.
"I can see them, but I think they're asleep. Get out! Just get out!" The recorded voice of Amy told herself before she tried the door again then tried the windows. She then saw more markings on her hands and the reflection in the window shows marks on her face. She turned around and slowly looked up. There was a mass of the creatures hanging upside-down from the ceiling like bats. She walked towards the door, not taking her eyes off them, and kicked a pail there to catch water. One of the creatures hissed at the noise. Amy reached her hand to her mouth to leave a message when the door opened. She looked away and all thoughts of the aliens hanging above her were gone. As she left the room, one of the aliens stood in the room.
The Doctor was sitting in a lecture room of Kennedy Space Center on a chair, legs crossed even though he was handcuffed with a Military Police officer standing behind him as two men questioned him.
"One more time, sir. How the hell did you get into the command module?" One of the men asked him.
"I told you! I'm on a top secret mission for the President," the Doctor said before he tried biting the chain of his cuffs.
"Well, maybe if you just get President Nixon to assure us of that, sir, that would be swell," the man told him.
"I sent him a message," the Doctor told him, causing the man to scoff in disbelief, just as the double door behind him opened up with Nixon walking into the room with Jack, Jenny, Rory and River, in suits from the 60s with Rory wearing glasses, acting as his aids, behind them was the TARDIS.
"Hello, I believe it's Mr Gardner, is that correct? Head of security?" Nixon asked the man as he shook his hand.
"Ah, yes, sir. Yes, Mr President," the man, who the Doctor now knew was named Gardner said.
"Mr Grant, is it?" Nixon asked the other man.
"Yes, Mr President," the other man, who the Doctor now knew was called Grant said as he shook the President's hand.
"The hopes and dreams of millions of Americans stand here today, at Cape Kennedy, and you are the men who guard those dreams," Nixon told them, "On behalf of the American people, I thank you."
"You're welcome, Mr President," Gardner said, thanking him for the compliment.
"I understand you have a baby on the way, Mr Grant?" Nixon asked Grant.
"Yes, Mr President," Grant confirmed.
"What are you hoping for, a boy or a girl?" The President asked him.
"Just a healthy American, sir," Grant answered.
"A healthy American will do just nicely," Nixon said before he gave him a friendly shoulder punch, "Now, fellas, listen. This man here- codename, The Doctor-is doing some work for me, personally. Could you cut him a little slack?"
"Er, Mr President, he did break into Apollo 11," Gardner told him.
"Sorry," the Doctor mouthed.
"Well, I'm sure he had a very good reason for that," Nixon told him, "But I need you to release him now, so he can get on with some very important work for the American people. Could you do that for me?"
"Well…" Grant began to say.
"Son, I am your Commander-in-Chief," Nixon told him.
"Then I guess that would be fine, Mr President," Gardner relented.
"Glad to hear it," Nixon said as the Military Police Officer unlocked the handcuffs as the Doctor stood up.
"Thank you!" The Doctor said as he shook Grant's hand, "Bye-bye," he then shook Gardner's hand before heading back to the TARDIS with Jack, Jenny and River.
"Carry on, gentlemen," Nixon said as he followed the Doctor, Jack, Jenny and River.
Rory accidentally broke a piece of the model lunar module off sitting on the desk and when he couldn't fit it back on, he slipped the piece on the desk before he cleared his throat, "America salutes you." He then saluted them in a British fashion, palm facing outwards before joining the others as he closed the doors.
As Renfrew sat at his desk, Canton and Rose searched the filing cabinets.
"This place, it's been closed for years. What have you been doing?" Canton asked Renfrew.
"Oh, the child, she must be cared for. It's important. That's what they said," Renfrew answered.
"That's what who said?" Rose asked him.
As Amy searched the halls upstairs of the Orphanage, shining her torch. She heard a metal clink and looked ahead as a Caucasian skinned woman curly light brown hair, wearing an eye patch over her eye peered through an opening in the door.
"Hello. Who are you?" Amy asked the woman.
"No, I think she's just dreaming," the eye patched woman said to someone who was possibly inside the room before the window slid shut and after a slight pause, she went to the door and opened it to find a small nursery that looked like it had been occupied recently, "Hello? I saw you, looking through the hatch…" Amy then looked back at the door and saw that there was no sign of a small hatch before she rubbed her hand along the door and checked the back of it.
Amy then walked inside and saw stuffed animals on the bed, a mobile hanging from the light and framed photographs on the bureau. All of them are of the little girl at various ages. One hidden in the back catches Amy's eye. She picked it up and saw that it was of her holding a baby.
"How? How can that be me?" Amy asked with confusion before she put the picture down with shaking hands and turns just as someone wearing an astronaut suit entered the room, "Who are you? I don't understand, so just tell me who you are!"
The astronaut lifted their visor and Amy saw that it was still the little girl with the inner visor cracked from the bullet when Amy shot her.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to shoot you. I'm glad I missed. But you killed The Doctor and Rose. You're going to kill them," Amy told her, "But who are you? Just please tell me, because I don't understand!"
"Please help me. Help me, please," the little girl pleaded as two of the creatures entered the room and Amy screamed as the door slammed shut.
There was a thumping sound from the door and Renfrew went to answer the door. He opened it a bit and spoke to the person on the other side.
"It's just some questions. Yes, I see," Renfrew said as he closed the door and sat back don in his chair.
"Who was that? Doctor Renfrew? Who was that?" Canton asked.
"Who was who?" Renfrew asked.
"Who were you just speaking to?" Rose asked as she and Canton walked to the door but stopped when it opened and one of the creatures entered.
"What are you? You can tell us," Canton said as he and Rose both activated their recorders within the palm of their hands, "'Cause we won't remember. You invaded us. You're everywhere."
"Help me! Rose, Canton, please will either of you help me?!" Amy's voice said distantly through the hall.
"Are you armed?" Canton asked.
"This world is ours. We have ruled it since the wheel and the fire. We have no need of weapons," the creature answered.
"Yeah?" Canton asked as he took out a revolver and shot the creature three times, "Welcome to America."
"Amy!" Rose shouted as she and Canton left the room and ran down the hall.
In the Oval Office, Nixon was sitting at his desk as the Doctor was walking to the TARDIS, "You have to tape everything that happens in this office, every word, or we won't know if you're under the influence."
"Doctor, you have to give me more than this. What were you doing to Apollo 11?" Nixon asked the Time Lord.
"A thing. A clever thing," the Doctor answered, "No more questions. You have to trust me and nobody else."
"Doctor, it's Rose and Canton! Quick, they need us!" Jack said as he opened the TARDIS door before the DOctor ran into the TARDIS before it dematerialized.
"Help me! Please, I can't, I can't see! Somebody help me!" Amy said from the room that she was trapped in as Rose and Canton arrived outside the door as Canton tried to break down the door.
"Amy!" Canton said as he pounded on the door, "Amy, can you hear me? Amy, I'm going to try to blow the lock. I need you to stand back."
"You don't need to do that, Canton," Rose said as she took out her Sonic Screwdriver and used it on the door's lock, unlocking the door as the Doctor, Jack, Jenny, Rory and River arrived.
"I can't see!" Amy said as Rose opened the door before they went in while unbeknownst to them, down the hall was the little girl, pressed against the wall, hiding.
As they entered the room they saw that Amy wasn't there but on the floor was the spacesuit.
"Where is she, Doctor?" Rory asked as the Doctor took out his Sonic Screwdriver and scanned the suit with it as Rose opened it's visor.
"It's empty," Rose said, "Whoever was in here left before we got here."
"It's dark, it's so dark. I don't know where I am," they heard Amy's voice say, "Please, can anybody hear me?" Rose looked down and found Amy's nanorecorder blinking on the floor before Rory picked it up.
"They took this out of her? How did they do that, Doctor?" Rory asked as Amy sobbed over the recorder.
"Whatever the creatures are probably knew what we were doing and knew how to take them out," Rose surmised.
"Why can I still hear her?" Rory asked.
"Is it a recording?" Jack asked.
"No, It defaults to live. This is current," Rose answered after she scanned the recorder with her Sonic Screwdriver, "Wherever she is right now, this is what she's saying."
"Amy, can you hear me? We're coming for you. Wherever you are, we're coming, I swear," Rory said into the recorder.
"She can't hear you. I'm so sorry. It's one way," the Doctor apologized.
"She can always hear me, Doctor. Always, wherever she is," Rory told him, "She always knows that I am coming for her, do you understand me? Always."
"Doctor, are you and Rose out there? Can you both hear me? Doctor? Oh, God. Please, please, Doctor, just get me out of this," Amy pleaded from the recorder.
"They're coming. I'll bring them, I swear," Rory said into the recorder.
"Hello, is someone there? Who? I think someone has been shot. I think we should help. We…" Renfrew said as he entered the room with Canton aiming his revolver at him as Renfrew forgot why he entered the room, "I can't... I can't remember."
Renfrew led them back to his office where the creature was on the floor and it backed away as the Doctor kneels and reaches out before Rose did the same thing her husband did.
"OK. Who and what are you?" The Doctor asked the creature.
"Silence, Doctor and Rose," the creature who both Gallifreyans knew were calling Silents said as it held it's wound, "We are the Silence." Both Gallifreyans then recalled when Prisoner Zero told them that Silence would fall before they remembered their adventure in Venice where Signora Calvierri told them that she and the Saturnayians ran from the Silence before remembering what the Eknodines told them in the version of Leadworth that the Dream Lord created, "And silence will fall."
Please review.
And how long should Jack travel with the Doctor and Rose? Till sometime after Let's kill Hitler?
