After bar fights were stopped and cleared up, Rex carried on deejaying as though nothing had ever happened.

Until a shady Weequay entered Oga's Cantina, accompanied by a red, white, and yellow astromech droid, trying to recruit people to join him in his operation to smuggle coaxium from the First Order.

Rex knew the First Order were at the Black Spire Outpost, just as he knew the Resistance were.

And in an earlier time, Rex might have volunteered himself as pilot. But he didn't. He was so bad at it.

Instead, he played music. Deejaying was his true calling anyway.

Yes it is all about Smuggler's Run. The whole point is that you work for Hondo Ohnaka, who's borrowing the Millennium Falcon from Chewbacca, and you're smuggling coaxium from the First Order to aid the Resistance - there are six roles. Two gunners, two gunners, and two pilots.
It's a really fun ride actually. I've been on it only once and I was a pilot. So I got to live our a lifelong dream of piloting the Millennium Falcon. Too bad I was just as terrible a pilot as Rex!
And this also marks the first non-Disney Parks original character appearance in this series all about characters from Disney Parks.
