A New Day 2

~Is It A Fight or Training?~

"Wait wait, hold on. Are you want to fight me? I just recovered from my first fight, don't you think that's too much?" I ask him.

"Well, this is not going to be an actual fight. I don't have anything towards you nor do I need to take something from you, and I not trying to kill you to replace you" Answer Joy.

'Well that rules out that possibility,' I thought to myself with a little bit of sweat before asking another question.

"So what is it then?"

"I simply just wanna know how to use moves and how it looks like in real life, this could also be considered as training, both for getting used to our new body and moves," he answers again.

"You sure it's not because you just want to fight me for no reason?"

"I'm certainly not doing this without having any reason, and again, this is only training"

"Well if you say so, what are we gonna do then?"

"I was checking through Bulbapedia's page about sylveon to see what moves it can do," he says as he pulls out his phone seemingly from his body.

'Where the hell did you store your phone,' I thought to myself with a little bit of a confused face.

"By the way, have you tried to use any move before?" asks Joy as he still looking at his phone.

"Well, I've used them twice. One when I was at my uncle's house, the other was in my fight with a jolteon," I answer.

"I see, what are those moves?"

"Fairy Wind and Swift, though I only use Swift at the jolteon to make them ran away"

"Hmm, can you use those moves again?"

"Well, I need a target first" After I answer him with that, he suddenly stops looking at his phone and shifts his focus to me.

"Why not use me as a target?" asks Joy with a little bit of a warm smile.

"Woah hey, are you serious? I don't want to hurt you" I respond with a bit of surprise and a slight of worry tone.

"Don't worry about it, plus this could be used to test how painful a certain move is and how much damage they can do to pokemon in real life" he replies with a calm voice, how can he be so calm about it?

I then let out a sigh of worry and thought for a while before finally deciding to agree to his proposal, though I still felt uneasy with this idea. He also said to only hit his ribbons and the reason is to find out if the ribbons also have a blood flow and if it's gonna hurt if they are damaged. He then stops after walking a few meters away from me before turning around and letting his ribbons loose, making them wave from the calm wind, I'm getting more uneasy about this.

"Remember Agung, only aim for my ribbons!" says Joy from where he is standing.

"Yes yes, I know that!" I reply to him.

I quickly imagined a few star-shaped lights around my head and I quickly see Joy's expression change, but not for long as he returned to his usual calm and serious expression. As for me, I'm sweating like hell, I don't know what will happen and I'm afraid to find it out. I look up above my head to see those star-shaped lights circling before I look back at Joy again, still letting his ribbons move in the wind like noodles.

"Alright, here we go," I say as I slowly take a deep breath before finally releasing it and in an instant, I see one of his ribbons flung back before Joy immediately holds it with his paws.

Seeing that I feel my heart sink and I quickly ran to him to see what had happened with the ribbon that he currently holds. We both were in shock because when he uncover the ribbon that he holds, we can see blood coming from there.

"I knew this was not a great idea," I say with a low and concerned voice.

"Well, I didn't expect it to be like this, not to mention that I still have the same color of blood as a human," he says as I see some sweat on his face.

"Dude this is not the time to talk about it, we have to treat it first," I reply with a loud tone.

"Yeah I know, thankfully I grab this when I went inside before," he says before pulling out a bandage from his back.

'Where the hell are you storing those?!' That is my first thought before I noticed that he have a bandage bag strapped near the base of his tail and it was covered by his fur.

He quickly ran to the nearby bench and jump on it before sitting down and treating his injury with the bandage.

"Okay, I guess that proves pokemon moves are now dangerous in real life," he says after treating his injury.

"So what are we gonna do then?" I ask.

"I guess we won't learn about moves for today, seeing its destructive property. Let's do some physical training to get used to this new body" he answers.

"Any rules?"

"We keep them simple, no moves and you can only use your ribbons, the one who can give a punch with it get a score"

"So this will be a competition huh? how many scores do I need to get?"

"10"

"Heh, that's good for me," I say with a little bit of pride.

After that, he immediately hops down from the bench and starts walking to the right side from where we are, as for me I go to the left side. We both stare for a while as the sky turns even more grey and the wind is getting stronger. I'm not the kind of person who likes to fight, but I still need some training for self-defense if I get attacked again. Despite the strong wind, everything feels quiet around us and I can feel the tension in the air rising.

A wood block suddenly fell to the ground with a loud thud, breaking the quiet silence and I immediately begin to rush toward him. As for Joy, he just looks at me with an intimidating look that doesn't do anything to me. When I get close to him I quickly jump off the ground and dive straight at him so I can get close to him and punch his face directly. But suddenly he quickly ducks down and dodges to his left before punching me directly to my right side with one of his ribbons, it doesn't hurt but it was enough to push me away from him, thankfully I manage to land on the ground with my legs. After that, we both stare at each other.

"Heh, that's one for me," says Joy with a proud voice.

Not wanting to lose, I start charging at him again. This time I try to just run straight at him, but to my surprise, he manages to dodge that one too and like before, punches me with his ribbon as I completely miss him.

"Two"

I keep trying to get close so I can land some punches on him but he somehow manages to dodge all of them. This is getting infuriating, he already punched me 5 times now.

"Come on Agung, keep trying," says Joy and it kinda triggers my infuriation that had built up for a while now.

I didn't reply to his words and instead, I look at him with anger, I feel something is wrong but I don't care anymore. I want to punch him, I WANT TO GET HIM.

I quickly run straight at him again and I can see that he is smiling a bit. As I get closer and try to attack him, he dodges me again, but this time, I manage to turn in time to where he is after dodging, and instead of using my ribbon, I try to scratch him with my claw which makes Joy change his expression to shock. He still manages to dodge my attack, but now, I see that he is shaking.

"Hey Agung, that's dangerous you know"

I hear him say that, but I didn't respond to it, I don't care at all at this point. I start to rush at him again and try to scratch him with the claw in my paws. I manage to scratch the ribbons that he use to block my claw which makes him flinch and whine a bit, but I didn't stop. I keep getting close and trying to scratch him again, and again. He still manages to dodge some of my attacks but for the most part, I can still damage him. He then hit me with the most powerful punch he ever gives with his ribbon that I haven't been able to scratch, sending me back a few meters from him. As I look back at him, I can see that he is sweating, panting, and shaking a lot, I also see some blood coming out from the scratch mark I made on his ribbon.

"Agung... are you failed to resist your instinct?"

He asks which I completely ignore. I quickly whip my ribbons around and I start to see the air around me turning blue-ish pink, I then contain them with my ribbons and I feel the energy raising each second. As I feel it reach its peak, Joy starts to run and encircle me around in which I keep following him, but I didn't waste any more time. I quickly let my ribbon wide open and the gust of air that has accumulated travel to Joy, I slightly release it in front of him so he doesn't have any chance to dodge. As it hits him, he is thrown to the wooden fence behind him with the powerful force of my Fairy Wind. He then falls to the ground and lay there motionless, but I still see him breathing. I slowly approach him to make sure that I did enough damage to neutralize him.

When I stand next to him I try to move and touch his paw with my ribbon to see if he will react to it, no reaction. I then turn around and walks away when suddenly I feel the ribbon that I used to touch his paw being held by someone which quickly makes me turn around once more and see that Joy is grabbing it. He immediately pulls my ribbon and kisses me on my cheeks which suddenly makes me lightheaded and I feel all of my emotions just vanishing before I fall to the ground and slowly close my eyes.

...

"Ugh... where am I?" I say as I move my head around, I'm back on the bed.

I slowly get up on the bed and rub my eyes. I look around once more before spotting a tray on the small table that is next to the bed. On it, there's a bowl with slices of apple in it and a small glass of water. I also noticed my phone on the table too which I quickly grab it and check the clock

07:35 PM

It's already evening, I don't remember what I'm doing before and when I do all I can see is the training that I had with Joy back in the morning, and I still don't remember fully what happened. Suddenly I hear a clicking sound from the door as it slowly being open and I can see Joy quietly peeking through the door. We stare at each other before I see him open the door wider.

"Agung... are you okay?" he asks with a bit of concern and worry in his words.

"Umm... I think so?" I reply before I quickly notice a few bandages around his ribbons.

"Woah hey what happened with your ribbons?!" I ask him.

"You don't remember?"

"Remember what?" I ask him again, this time with more worry.

"Our fight this morning" he answers as he looks down a little bit.

"What do you mean?" I ask once more as I get even more uneasy.

"You suddenly attacked me back then, you keep trying to scratch me with your claw and you even use Fairy Wind on me"

"..." I don't even know how to respond to that. We both just stare at each other in silence, I don't remember what truly happened back then.

"Sorry..." A feeling of sorry is the only thing that I can say in this situation as my eyes start to fill with tears of regret.

"It's okay, it's not fully your fault," he says before slowly approaching me and wrapping the only undamaged ribbon around my hand, and we both share our emotions again. I feel Joy's emotions are full of forgiveness, but I still can't get rid of the fact that I hurt him.

"I'm going to get you dinner and tea," he says before unwrapping his ribbon and walking out of the room.

I'm still tearing up from realizing what had I done to him. I let my emotions take a hold of me and make me go crazy, what the hell is wrong with me, I'm used to being a teen who barely let loose of his emotions, especially with anger, is this the effect of the transformation? I don't wanna think too much about it, it gives me a headache sometimes. I quickly unlock my phone and browse through the internet to see some news.

Most that I see are either mass panic in the big cities, a few fights broke out between pokemon and humans that results in injuries or even death, and some religious chaplains that keep commenting on this event as the wrath of god. Speaking of religions, I've noticed that I start to skip most of the praying that I used to do daily, maybe it's because I keep passing out for a long time but I also start to not think much about doing prayer at all. I completely feel like a different person now. After a while, Joy is finally back and he brings some soup noodles and he puts it down on the small table next to the bed.

As I'm eating my dinner, we both talk about various topics. Ranging from the opinion of this whole transformation event, our old life of us, and some random things that just come to our mind. After I finish it, Joy's father enter the room and asks me various questions about how I'm feeling and what I feel when I attacked Joy. I answer those questions using my phone as best as I can, even though he doesn't look angry, I'm still scared to talk with him.

After all of that, he tells me that indeed some people that get transformed can get into a state of mind where they act like an animal, but that usually happened when they're under high mental stress. He tells me to keep my emotions in check and control it as best as I can, if I can't I should ask Joy to calm me down. After that, both of them walk out of the room and close the door from the other side. I'm still unable to comprehend what is happening, 2 days ago I was a human, and suddenly I woke up as a pokemon yesterday, and now I'm staying at the doctor's house and I just hurt his son without me remembering it. All of this thinking keeps making my head hurt so I try to get some rest as quickly as possible.

What is happening with my life now?...

Chapter 6 End.
