"Mom? Dad? You called for me?"
"Yes Lincoln, we did. Please sit down, we and Pop Pop need to have an important talk with you."
An eight year old Lincoln looked at his parental figures in confusion as he entered the kitchen where they awaited at the table. All three of them had a serious expression on their face which only caused the boy to grow worried.
"Don't worry sport, you're not in trouble. It's just about time we told you something important." The boy's grandfather explained, smiling at his grandson.
It worked as Lincoln relaxed as he took a seat at the table. "So… what's going on?"
The three adults looked at each other, their expressions unreadable before Rita spoke. "Lincoln, what we're about to explain to you… we just want you to be sure that it changes nothing. You're still our son and we still love you as much as we love your siblings."
Lincoln only raised a confused eyebrow, his worry growing.
"Lincoln…" Lynn picked up after his wife. "You might have noticed there's a few differences between you and your sisters, gender aside of course. There's a reason for that, especially as to why yours and Leni's birthdays are so close to one another."
Rita continued after him. "Didn't you always wonder about that? You've always been a curious boy after all. The reason for that is… you're not actually ours."
"What?" Lincoln's face only became more confused. "What do you mean?"
"Have you ever heard of the term 'adopted' Lincoln?" Rita asked as her son nodded.
"Yeah, that's what Clyde told me he is. That's why he has two dads." Realization hit the boy as his eyes slowly widened. "W-Wait…"
"Lincoln. This changes nothing." Lynn said firmly, reaching over to grab one of his adopted son's hands. "You are still our child. You are still a part of this family. That will never change."
"B-But…!"
Rita shot up from her chair to rush around the table and gave her confused boy a tight hug as he began to tear up. "Don't. Please Lincoln, don't ever think like that. I love you. Your father loves you. Your grandfather loves you. Your sisters especially love you. Even if you didn't come from me, I will never stop treating you like my own."
Lincoln didn't respond, only burying his face into his mother's shoulder as he dealt with the swirling emotions inside of him. However, one thought came to the front of his mind.
"So… where are my other parents?"
The three adults stiffened again before everyone slowly turned towards Albert. The eldest in the room gave a small sigh as he stood up.
"That's… a very big topic Lincoln. I know you have a lot of questions right now, and believe me that you deserve answers. But now is not the time." The man crossed his arms as he stared at his grandson. "However, do know that they loved you and left you with us because they trusted us to do good with you. Considering the outstanding young man you're becoming, I'd say they made a good choice."
Lincoln looked down at the floor, not fully satisfied with the answer.
"Don't worry." The boy looked back up again. "When the time is right, I'll tell you about them. Trust me."
Part of Lincoln wanted to argue, yell at grandfather but he felt the grip of his adoptive parents tightened. Even at his young age, he had a feeling of what they were going through at the moment and relented with a nod.
"Dinner tonight is whatever you want, sport. You deserve it after this." Lynn said, placing a hand on the white haired boy's head.
"...Can we have pizza tonight?"
Rita smiled as she grabbed her son's hand and began to lead him away. "Sure Lincoln, whatever toppings you want."
"Thanks mom and dad."
Both young adults smiled as they took Lincoln to the phone. From the corner of his eye, he could see his grandfather smiling as well.
'But… who are my parents?'
"Lincoln!"
The white haired teenager snapped to attention from staring at the dungeon ceiling as he turned to his right to see Karin approaching him. "Is everything okay, you seem to be spaced out just now."
"Oh, hey Karin." The Gamer greeted back as he stood up from the debris he was using a makeshift seat. "Sorry about that, I was just thinking about some things…"
"It's nothing bad is it?" Karin's red eyes were laced with concern. "Do you need someone to talk about it with, because I'm free to lend an ear."
Lincoln chuckled, somewhat embarrassed. "It's nothing that serious, don't worry. On another note, are we good to move on?"
Instead of answering his question, Karin stared at him intently causing him to lean back as she started invading his private space. "K-Karin?"
The girl continued to stare before snapping her fingers. "I know what you need! Sweets!"
"S-Sweets?" The boy repeated as Karin rapidly nodded, digging in one of her pockets on her uniform.
"Sweets always help with a clouded mind!" The raven haired girl pulled out what looked like a chocolate bar before holding it towards Lincoln. "My aunt Celine always told me to have something to fall back on, so sweets is that for me."
"You really seem to look up to her." Lincoln noted, taking the candy as Karin grinned widely.
"Yep, she taught me everything I know! I look up to her since she's my role model." The girl explained, sitting down as she pulled out another candy bar before looking to the side with a slight grimace. "Even if she sometimes forgets who I am or what she's doing…"
Lincoln smirked, tearing off the candy wrapper. "I understand the feeling with the first part. It's my grandfather for me, he taught me how to fight but also instilled some strong convictions in me."
"Like what?"
"To always be there for my family, especially my sisters. I'm the second oldest of eleven, so I feel the need to constantly look out for them even though some of them can take care of themselves."
Karin smiled. "You sound like an amazing brother."
"Far from it…" Lincoln chuckled with a shake of his head. "I'm a selfish guy who's also jealous of them for their talents. I'm not amazing nor perfect."
"We're only human Lincoln." Karin retorted with a small frown. "I'm sure they look up to you."
"Heh maybe…" Lincoln muttered with a whimsical smile.
Karin only pouted before placing both of her hands on Lincoln's ears, much to his surprise.
"K-Karin?"
"Now listen here Lincoln. I've only known you for a couple of days but I can tell you that you're much better than you give yourself credit for! You've already done a lot for us! You just have to believe in yourself!"
"Y-Yeah…" Lincoln stuttered out, embarrassed by the close proximity of the girl and her pep talk. His eyes began to wander downwards as they landed on a well endowed area that caused his cheeks to heat up a bit more. 'Well puberty has been good to her.'
Karin, thankfully, didn't seem to notice as she removed her hands from him and leaned back with a smile. "Good!"
"You two seemed to be having fun."
The two turned to the side to see the rest of their party approaching them. However, Lincoln noticed glares on both Renee's and Yuna's face causing him to inwardly sigh.
'Is it too late to get rid of this Harem Aura skill? Pretty sure I'm en route to a nice boat ending.'
Karin frowned, standing up from her seat. "We were just talking. I was getting to know him a bit better, that's all."
Both Yuna's and Renee's gazes turned towards Lincoln, causing him to stiffen slightly at the looks they were giving him. He turned his own gaze onto Hazel who was looking away but could see one of the corners of her lips turned upwards.
'She's enjoying this…!'
Lincoln loudly sighed, standing up. "So I guess break time is over then huh? Do you guys want to head back?"
"I guess we can, not like we're getting anything done right now." Yuna muttered, loud enough for everyone to hear.
Lincoln's eyebrows furrowed. "Oi, you asked me to join you guys." Yuna flinched at that. "And I'm pretty sure I've been taking out more monsters than the rest of you."
"He has a point, he's managed to take out about forty and the person closest to him is Karin at twenty five. You and Renee combined just match the latter's amount." Hazel explained, looking over her book.
"Hazel!" Renee shouted, glaring at the guild's second in command along with Yuna. "You didn't have to let him know that!"
"Well maybe if you two spent more time killing monsters instead of gazing at him, you'd both be doing better." Hazel dryly retorted at the two girls who only grew red in the face at the accusation.
'I thought I noticed extra eyes on me.' Lincoln thought with a small laugh as he watched both Renee and Yuna start arguing with Hazel. An idea coming to mind, he called out to the trio. "You know, I don't mind. I'm flattered actually."
You have earned points in the Renee Route
You have earned points in the Yuna Route
The Gamer couldn't help the smirk on his face as he saw both girls' faces light up like Christmas trees. 'Well if I have this ability, I might as well have a little fun with it and tease them a bit. That being said, I need to be careful not to hurt anyone's feelings too much.'
Chandler McCann was not in a good mood.
Things for him seemed to take a downturn in a few days alone and it was that damn Larry's fault. It turns out someone had filmed the basketball game earlier on their phone and it had spread amongst the school like a wildfire. The fact that he and his team had been outright embarrassed by the blue eyed albino and everyone saw his flagrant foul on Ronnie Anne had made his reputation take a very damaging hit.
In fact from what one of the members in his group told him, many were applauding Larry for elbowing him in the head for what he had done as well.
This wasn't all either. Thanks to his damaged popularity, he had gotten many rebuked invitations to his planned birthday party this weekend. Many people no longer wanted to associate themselves with him now after seeing how he truly was, the only ones who seemed to want to attend his party now were the lackeys that followed him around.
The redhead clenched one of his hands into a fist before slamming it into the wall next to him as he and his group sat outside for lunch. His birthday party was the day after tomorrow, and it was too late to cancel it.
"C-Chandler?" The boy with glasses named Trent stuttered out causing Chandler to turn his gaze onto him. "Everything alright man?"
"Do you think everything is alright Trent? Think for a damn minute." Chandler growled out, standing up from his seat. "This was supposed to be my biggest birthday party yet, set me up nicely for my senior year at this school. Now because of that damn Larry, nobody wants to show up!"
The rest of the boys around the table went silent as their leader vented his frustrations. Chandler took a deep breath, glaring at the ground. "That nerd is going to pay for this. Just need to find out how."
"Good luck with that, you try something and I'm pretty sure his sisters will come after you." George said, taking a bite of his burger. "I mean his three sisters here are some of the most popular girls at school after all. Everyone knows not to mess with the Louds."
Chandler turned to the overweight boy. "Who exactly are his sisters here again?"
"You really don't know them?" A tan skinned boy by the name of Richie questioned. At Chandler's headshake, he raised an eyebrow. "How do you… Luna, Leni, and Lori Loud bro. Lori Loud is a senior and considered one of the queens of the school alongside Carol Pingrey. Leni Loud is in our grade and everyone loves her for her fashion taste. Luna Loud is a grade below us, but she and her band already got a strong following."
Chandler remained silent, processing the information for a moment before finally speaking. "Wait… Luna Loud right? Doesn't she and that band of hers have a pretty big gig for the Nite Café on Saturday?" The other three boys nodded as Chandler placed a hand to his chin before a small smirk formed on his face. "Boys, clear your plans tonight. I have an idea."
"What are we going to do?" Trent asked, becoming slightly uneasy by the smile on Chandler's face.
"We're just… going to have a little backstage preview per say." Chandler stood up as the school bell rang, walking away as his smile grew. "Want to show Larry's sister some hospitality, you know."
"Luna I know I promised you I'd help but…"
"You said you'd help me any way you could today bro, please!"
The sole son of the Loud family sighed as he stood outside of the Nite Café with his aspiring rock star sister and her girlfriend, Sam Sharp, passing out flyers for the band's upcoming show in two days. 'I really need to stop promising my sisters things but… I couldn't have turned her down even if I wanted to. She's looking forward to this completely.'
"Sorry about this Linc." Sam said, smiling apologetically at her girlfriend's older brother. "But you know how Lunes is."
Lincoln dryly chuckled. "Considering I've known her for her entire life, yeah." The two shared a laugh at the brunette's expense who pouted. "But seriously, don't worry about it. I know this means a lot to you guys, so I want to help in any way I can."
Sam smiled before turning to Luna. "You have a really cool older brother, you know that?"
"Tell me about it babe. I owe bro a lot." Luna walked over, giving Lincoln a half hug as she grinned up at him. "Wouldn't have made it this far without his support."
"And you'll have my support the whole way through." Lincoln added as his sister nodded.
Sam smiled at the two siblings before also giving Lincoln a hug as they separated. "Well, take some thanks from me too. It's always great to hear support from our number one fan."
Lincoln looked amused as he hugged Sam back. "I'm your number one fan?"
"Of course bro, you've been supporting us before we even started." Luna smirked, holding up a finger. "And being our number one fan comes with special benefits I might add, such as VIP benefits, free entries into our shows, and even more."
"Huh, sounds like quite the exclusive club. Glad to be a part of it then!"
The three teenagers shared a laugh before going back to their task. They had some moderate success as multiple people had taken an interest in the show, and some had even started making plans to show up to it. There were a few boys around their age that tried to flirt with the two girls and made them feel uncomfortable, but Lincoln was quick to drive them off. Overall, however, Lincoln was proud of his younger sister and the drive she was showing.
The teenager leaned on the wall against the side of the building as the three of them had felt they did enough promoting, with Luna and Sam having gone inside the café to talk to the rest of their bandmates. Taking a breath, he focused. 'Open Menu.'
On cue, a blue holographic screen appeared in front of him holding a screen of information.

'Mm, probably could use some more support magic to be honest. I need to be able to support myself when fighting on my own. I'll look into Great Grandmother Harriet's books again to see if maybe she has something that can help. Hope I can avoid Lucy too, don't want her asking questions or telling Lori anything.'
The boy swiped the screen once more before coming to the EQUIPMENT screen. 'I namely have the royal knight armor set equipped. Got it from a drop in the Item World. Its stats are pretty good, but I need to find something better eventually, especially with my stats increasing. Probably need to either wait until I get some enhancement stones drops or buy something better from the shop in the system.'
Enhancement Stones… the young Gamer had found out through enemy drops in either dungeons or the Item World that enemies would on occasion drop small silver stones. Using them, he could actually increase the level of an item even more to improve its benefits and potency. His armor would improve his stats even further or his health and mana potions would recover even more HP or MP respectively.
Sighing, the boy closes the screens before pushing off the wall and stretching. 'All in all I'm getting stronger which is the most important thing. Just need to keep at it.' He looked up at the sky. 'And maybe… just maybe I'll be able to find out some clues about them.'
Shaking his head, the Gamer closed his menus before walking out back to the main sidewalk before feeling his phone vibrate. Pulling it out, he saw a lone text message on it.
"Hey Lincoln, can we meet up after school tomorrow? I need to talk with you and ask for your help." - Karin
Lincoln raised an eyebrow before sending a message back. "Yeah sure, no problem. Is everything alright?"
"Yeah it is, don't worry! It's just something I don't think I can approach everyone else about."
Lincoln raised an eyebrow. 'Something she can't approach everyone else about? Wonder what it is if she's asking someone who she's only known for half a week.' Shaking his head, he texted back.
"Alright, we can meet up at a café after school lets out tomorrow."
"Great! Thanks Lincoln!"
Lincoln smiled before placing his phone back in his pocket.
"Bro!"
The teen looked up to see his sister approaching him along with her girlfriend and the rest of their band. "We're going to grab something to eat love, want to come?"
"Yeah, coming!" Lincoln said with a smile, joining the group as they walked to a nearby taco shop.
"Lame-O!"
Lincoln barely registered the name as he was grabbing his things when the final school bell rang before feeling someone slam into him to his slight surprise. Quickly regathering himself, he gave a small smile. "Hello to you too, Ronnie Anne."
Ronnie Anne grinned, ignoring the stares from the rest of their classmates in the classroom, as she looked up at her friend. "Was wondering if you wanted to get some flippees from Flip's and hang out? Figured you weren't too busy today."
"Actually yeah, I have some plans today. A friend asked me to meet up with her after school because she wanted to talk about something."
"...her?"
"Yeah, Karin. She's part of the… Ronnie?"
Murderous Intent Detected
'That describes it pretty well…' Lincoln internally mused as he saw a stifling glare on the Hispanic girl's face as soon as he said Karin's name.
"So… another girl huh?" Ronnie Anne said evenly.
"Yeah, we're just friends though. I met her through Renee and we've started talking thanks to similar interests."
"You've been hanging out with Renee a lot lately."
"She's been helping me out with some stuff."
"Like what?" Ronnie Anne pressed, leaning towards Lincoln.
Lincoln paused for a moment to think over his words. "Just… some miscellaneous stuff. Nothing for you to really worry about."
Upon seeing the girl pout, he couldn't help but chuckle. 'She's always been kind of cute when she's mad. Actually…'
"Ronnie Anne." The girl perked up. "You want to go to the Sadie Hawkins Dance together? Was thinking about going and was wondering if you'd like to go with me."
The Santiago girl blinked about two times before her whole face turned a bright shade of red. "W-What?! W-What did you just ask me?!"
"I asked if you liked to go to the Sadie Hawkins Dance together." Lincoln repeated with a small chuckle. Whilst on the outside he was calm, on the inside he was quite nervous. 'Sometimes you just have to shoot your shot and take a chance.'
Ronnie Anne looked down at her hands as she twiddled her fingers. "U-Uh… U-Um…"
"So… is that a no?"
"Hell yeah, I'd like to go with you!" The latina suddenly screamed out, causing the boy to take a step back in surprise. She quickly realized what she did and slapped her forehead with a loud groan as Lincoln chuckled once again.
"So it's a yes then." Lincoln laughed out, as Ronnie Ann returned his smile with a rapid nod.
"You better not flake out on me, you hear me?" The girl warned, holding up a fist while still blushing. "If you do, I'll make you regret it."
"What kind of guy do you think I am, I'd never hurt you like that." Lincoln deadpanned with a smile. "We'll talk more when we get closer to the day, it's still a ways away after all."
"Y-Yeah sounds good! I have to go home now, mi madre needs my help with la cena." Ronnie Anne hastily said, slipping slightly back into her native language at the end. Lincoln just waved as she dashed out of the classroom as fast as she could. before turning around to grab his things…
"WOOOOOOO!"
Only to jump as he heard her holler of joy from down the hallway. He scratched his cheek with a small blush, trying to ignore some of the stares from his classmates as he finished packing and left the classroom.
"Thanks for agreeing to meet with me on such short notice Lincoln."
"Don't worry about it, you guys have done a lot for me so it's only fair I do the same."
Karin smiled as she took a sip of her coffee, enjoying the caramel taste. Lincoln did the same with his before placing it back on the coffee shop table.
"So…" The girl perked up. "What's up? This must be something serious if you wanted to meet up alone."
Karin remained silent, looking down into her cup before finally finding her words. "Lincoln… can we start training together?"
The albino teen raised an eyebrow. "Don't we train together already by going through the dungeons?"
"No, I mean like one on one. Sparring actually." The girl looked up at him, her red eyes meeting his light blue. "I can't ask anyone in my group this as they wouldn't be able to keep up with me in close combat. You're the strongest person I know at the moment, so I was wondering…"
Lincoln took a sip of his coffee before speaking. "I don't mind at all, but is everything alright Karin? You seem pretty tense right now."
The raven-haired girl remained silent, not saying a word only looking down at her coffee. Lincoln only grew more confused, caught off guard by the girl's change from her usual energetic demeanor.
"Lincoln." The girl suddenly started, as she looked at him once again. "What does being strong mean to you?"
"Being strong… hmm, never gave it a lot of thought to be honest. My grandfather raised me with the mindset to help others and protect my sisters. My father told me before that he looks forward to the day I become the man of the house. Not to mention, a part of me has always enjoyed a challenge."
Karin chuckled. "You sound like you had good mentors, not that different from mine. My aunt and mother were the ones who trained me in my swordsmanship. They installed into me their beliefs and values to always protect the weak."
"So do they know about the…"
"Yes, they know about the Abyss. My aunt Celine is actually a powerful figure in it and she travels a lot."
"Yeah, you mentioned her before." Lincoln noted, taking another sip of his coffee.
Karin smiled, looking out a nearby window. "She's my role model. Don't get me wrong, I look up to my mom too, especially since she's the master of a kendo dojo, but my aunt Celine has always been amazing. I used to follow her wherever she went when I was a lot younger."
"Sounds like you were really attached to her."
"Yep!" Karin grinned before relaxing. "Those two figures in my life, those are who I consider strong. I want to be just like them."
"...Well, I think you're closer to being more like them than you realize." Seeing the girl's surprised look, he continued. "Whenever we're in the dungeons, I always see you keeping an eye out for everyone, especially Yuna and Hazel. You're always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needs it, despite how small it might be."
"You're just flattering me Lincoln!" Karin laughed before smiling as she blushed. "But…thank you. I needed to hear that."
Lincoln grinned. "Well, if it'll truly help you, I don't mind sparring with you then."
"Really?!" At Lincoln's nod, the excited girl grabbed one of his hands as she smiled at him. "Thanks Lincoln!"
A small red tint appeared on Lincoln's cheeks as he chuckled. "Don't worry about it Karin, glad to help…"
Karin rapidly nodded before noticing what she was doing and made a small yelp as she quickly let go of his hand, looking down with a bright blush. "S-Sorry… I got a bit excited."
"It's fine Karin." Lincoln laughed out as the girl only pouted. "So when do you want to start? Can't do it this Saturday, one of my sisters has a show and I promised her I would be there."
"We can star-"
The girl was cut off as Lincoln's phone started ringing. He picked it up and muttered a quick apology to Karin before answering it.
"Hello?"
"Bro…"
"Luna?" Lincoln raised an eyebrow. "What's up, I thought you said you guys would be busy getting things set up."
"Bro… it's…"
"Luna…?" A sinking feeling formed in the boy's stomach at his sister's tone. "Luna, what's wrong?"
"Everything… everything is ruined."
"...You guys are at the Nite Café right? I'm on my way."
"...Okay."
"Stay there Luna, I'll be there as fast as I can." Lincoln hung up the phone before turning back to Karin. "Sorry Karin, family emergency so I have to go."
"I'm coming too." The girl said firmly, standing up from the table the same time as Lincoln. "You promised to help me, so it's only fair that I do the same."
Lincoln stared at her for a moment before nodding. "Alright, let's hurry then."
"Right behind you!"
Karin Fantaria now has an interest in you
'Not now system. Not now…' Lincoln thought as he quickly closed the menu and walked out of the café with Karin following closely behind him.
"Luna!"
The fourth member of the Loud children as well as her girlfriend, Sam Sharp, looked up from where they were sitting on the sidewalk to see her older brother along with a girl they recognized from school approaching them.
Lincoln stopped once he was in front of the brunette as he knelt down and placed both his hands on her shoulders. "Are you alright?" He looked at the shop to see it surrounded by police as they had opened up a crime scene. "What the hell…?"
"Bro… they wrecked everything. All of our equipment is all destroyed." Luna explained in a broken tone as Sam rubbed her shoulders. "Someone broke into the café last night because it was closed. When the owner came to check it out this morning, someone had broken the windows and trash the place. All of our equipment was ruined…"
Lincoln's and the raven-haired girl's eyes both widened before the older brother pulled his younger sister into a hug, which she leaned into. From the corner of her eye, she could see the girl pull out her phone and start texting.
"I'm sorry Luna." She heard Lincoln say. "I know you and your band have been looking forward to this."
Luna did nothing but link her arms around Lincoln and return his hug as she buried her face in his shoulder.
"Lincoln." Both siblings looked up to see the girl with a serious expression on her face. "I asked Hazel for help and she sent me something I think you need to see."
Lincoln stood up, letting go of his sister as he grabbed the phone and walked away. Luna turned to the girl who had her arms crossed before her eyes widened. "Wait… Karin Fantaria?!"
Karin turned to the brunette before nodding with a smile. "That's my name, don't wear it out!" Her expression turned to one of concern. "Are you guys alright though?"
"Y-Yeah! We're alright!" This time it was Sam who answered as both girls were nervous, knowing of the self proclaimed "Royal Woods High Enforcer" reputation. "We're also behaving in an orderly manner and not up to any trouble!"
"Babe, relax…!" Luna whispered to Sam as she grabbed her hand in an effort to calm her down.
Karin, for her part, simply looked confused before turning back to her side as Lincoln approached the group again.
"Thanks Karin." Lincoln said, handing the girl back her phone before starting to walk off with the girl following after him. "You don't have to come with me, you know."
"I'm coming with you whether you want me too or not." Karin stated firmly, not budging in the least bit. "You'll need someone with you, we both know this."
Lincoln appeared ready to argue before relenting with a sigh as he nodded and they continued.
Luna shared a glance with Sam before calling out. "Bro, what's going on?"
Lincoln stopped, not turning around to face his sister. "I'm going to go handle something I should have taken care of a long time ago, Luna. Go home, I'll be alright."
He continued walking away with Karin as Luna and Sam only continued to stare after them confused.
In an alleyway a good distance away from the café, a group of boys openly laughed as they sat around. One held up a soda as the others followed his lead.
"Here's to us boys! To paying Larry back and ruining his sister's rocking concert!" Chandler yelled as the rest of the boys shouted in approval and started downing their drinks.
"I can't believe we actually got away with that too!" Trent said, looking around him as excitement still reverberated through his body. "You sure the cops aren't going to come after us?"
"Of course not, one of my dad's employees' sons hacked the security cameras for us. It'll be like no one was even there when the place got trashed." Chandler took another sip of his soda. "As long as no one here snitches, there's no way they'll be able to link us to it."
"Still I feel kind of bad for doing this…" This time it was Richie who spoke as he looked down. "Did we really need to drag his sister into this? She had nothing to do with it."
Chandler frowned. "Then she also should have scheduled a better time to hold her stupid concert than on my birthday party. Considered her a… casualty of war."
"A casualty of war huh?"
All four of the boys stiffened at the sound of the voice, almost feeling the air around the area chill as they turned to the entrance of the alleyway to see two people standing there.
"So that's why you not only trashed the café, but destroyed all of her and her band's equipment? Because your feelings were hurt that I embarrassed you in a basketball game? Because her concert was at the same time as your damn party and people wanted to go to it instead?"
Chandler gritted his teeth before smirking. "Oh? Where's your proof Larry? It's not like you have any."
"Of course not, one of my dad's employees' sons hacked the security cameras for us. It'll be like no one was even there when the place got trashed."
The boy suddenly froze as his voice came from the cellphone in Karin's hands. The girl smirked as she held it up, waving it in a mocking manner.
"Sounds like we got enough proof right there." Lincoln said with a vicious smirk. "Wonder how the cops are going to like this?"
Chandler and his friends begin to sweat, knowing that they had been caught. Once this got into the cops hands, who knew what would happen to them?
"C-Come on Larry, it was just a joke!" Chandler forced a trembling smile to his face "I was probably doing her a favor anyway, you know? So her and her band wouldn't embarrass themselves in front of everyone else. But I'll go apologize to her and-"
Murderous Intent Activated
"Do not… disrespect my sister like that Chandler." Lincoln said as the four boys trembled in fear from his glare. The albino took his hands out of his pockets, cracking his knuckles. "You know, I always said you weren't worth it. That you were a random idiot with more money than brains. However, now that you want to bring my sisters into it? Now I see that I should have set shit straight a long time ago.."
Chandler gulped but held his ground. "Oh yeah… and what are you and one girl going to do against the four of us huh?"
"Oh Karin isn't going to do anything. I'm the one who's going to beat your four asses."
"You have to be joking Larry!" Chandler laughed along his group, his confidence starting to return. "There's no way you can take us all!"
"Want to test that theory?"
Chandler looked at George before gesturing with his head as the large boy charged at Lincoln with a battle cry. He swung towards Loud's head with a large fist but the boy ducked under it. He did it again with his other fist but the boy backed away.
"Stay still you bas- guh!"
He was cut off as Lincoln landed a quick but powerful jab into his stomach that sent him crashing to his knees before slamming his foot onto his back and knocking him out.
The white haired Loud looked up at the other three boys who looked back in pure fear.
"Remember…" Lincoln started as he began walking forward.
"This all could have been avoided."
Yeah, I didn't have many ideas on what to call this chapter lol. Thanks for reading, please review and you all have a good one!
