"We need to protect ourselves," Jimmy said as the Doctor stood at the microwave with Rose while the others were gathered around the table.
"Are you a violent man, Jimmy?" The Doctor asked as he put a container of food into the microwave.
"No," Jimmy answered.
"Then why would the other Jimmy be?" Rose asked.
"Don't tell me you both can eat at a time like this," Cleaves told the Doctor and Rose.
"You told us that we were out cold for a few minutes, Cleaves, when, in fact, it was an hour," the Doctor reminded her.
"Sorry, I just assumed…" Cleaves began to say.
"Well, it's not your fault. Like I said, they're disorientated," the Doctor told her.
"Jack, when you, Amy and Rory got to the alcoves, who was in harness?" Rose asked as
The timer on the microwave went off and the Doctor took out the plate using a towel.
"Jimmy and Dicken were helping Buzzer out," Jack answered.
"Jennifer?" The Doctor asked.
"She was standing on her own when we got to her," Amy added.
'Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Theta?' Rose asked her husband through their bond.
'That the Jennifer that was with us was a ganger? Yes I do, Arkytior,' he answered through their bond as the Doctor handed the plate to Cleaves and she held it in her bare hand, "It's hot."
Cleaves hissed as she dropped the plate which shattered on the floor, "Ah."
"The transmatter's still a little rubbery," the Doctor said before he examined Cleaves' hand and realized that she was in fact a ganger, "The nerve endings are not quite fused properly."
"What the hell are you talking about?" The ganger that was Cleaves asked as she pulled away.
"It's okay," the Doctor reassured her.
"Why didn't I feel that?" She asked him.
"You will," he assured her, "You'll stabilize."
"No, stop it. You're playing stupid games. Stop it!" She snapped as she turned away from him.
"You don't have to hide," he told her, "Please, trust me. I'm the Doctor."
The ganger that was Cleaves then turned on the Doctor with a hiss, her face was now in its half-formed state as Buzzer grabbed a knife from the table and headed towards her, only for Jimmy to hold him back.
"Where's the real Cleaves, you thing?! What have you done with her?!" Buzzer demanded.
"That's it, good. You remember. This is early flesh, the early stages of the technology. So much…" The Doctor said as he reached out a hand to touch the ganger that was Cleaves as she shuddered, "to learn."
"Doctor, Rose, what's happened to her?" Amy asked both Gallifreyans.
"She can't stabilize, she's shifting between half-formed and full-formed," Rose explained, "For now, at least."
"We are living!" The ganger that was Cleaves said.
"If it surprises you, me and my husband do consider you gangers as living things," Rose told her as the ganger that was Cleaves lunged at the Doctor with a growl before she ran from the room, screaming.
"Let her go," the Doctor told everyone.
"Doctor, Rose, Rory," Amy said, telling them that Rory could be in danger.
"'Rory'?" The Doctor said with confusion.
"Rory!" Amy said, calling out to her husband as she turned around with her arms up
"Oh, Rory," the Doctor said as he realized what she meant, "Rory! Always with the Rory!"
The Doctor, Rose, Jack, Amy and Jimmy exited one of the buildings only to find their way blocked by acid on the ground.
"The explosion must've ruptured the acid feeds," Jimmy said, "We're going to need the acid suits."
"No, no, no, we haven't got time. Back, back, back," the Doctor said as they went in the opposite direction.
Jimmy, the Doctor, Rose, Jack and Amy soon ran into the washroom as the Doctor saw a hole in the stall door.
"Rory!" Amy called.
"Of course. Jennifer's a ganger, too," the Doctor muttered.
"We suspected as much," Rose added.
"Doctor, you said they wouldn't be violent," Amy reminded them.
"But he did say they were scared, and angry," Jack told her.
"And early technology, is what you said. You two seem to know something about the flesh," Jimmy told both Gallifreyans as the Doctor looked in the washroom's mirror.
"Do you? Doctor and Rose?" Amy asked them
"You're no weatherman," Jimmy realized, "Why are you really here?"
"Finally, you figured that out," Rose said.
"He's been dropping hints like crazy," Jack added.
"I have to talk to them. I can fix this," the Doctor added as he ran out of the room with Rose, Amy and Jack following.
"Wait! What's going on? Where's the real Jennifer?!" Jimmy asked as he followed them.
A while later, Jimmy, the Doctor, Rose, Jack and Amy reached the top of a set of stairs and as they headed down the tunnel, steam burst from a pipe as there was also acid on the ground.
"It is too dangerous out here with acid leaks!" The Doctor told them.
"We have to find Rory," Amy told him.
"We will, Amy," Rose reassured her.
"Rose is right," the Doctor said, agreeing with Rose, "We're going back to the TARDIS. Wait for me and Rose in the dining hall. We want us to keep together, okay? No more wandering off."
"And what about Rory?" Amy asked.
"Well, it would be safer to look for Rory and Jennifer with the TARDIS," the Doctor told her.
"Here we go," Jimmy said as he spotted a box on the wall and opened the box and pulled out a large container, "Distress flares." He then closed the box and was startled by the Doctor when he saw him standing next to him.
"Exit?" The Doctor asked.
"Keep going straight, can't miss it," Jimmy answered, "But you're never going to get your vehicle in here.
"I'm a great parker," the Doctor said as he began to leave, "Come on, Rose."
"We really need those acid suits," Jimmy told Amy, "I've sent Buzzer and Dicken to get them."
"Fine and dandy. I'm just going to find my husband, so...cheers," Amy told him.
"But, Amy, I wouldn't…" Jimmy protested.
"Nor would I. What can you do, eh?" Amy said as she headed down the tunnel.
"At least wait for an acid suit!" Jimmy told her.
"Don't worry about her, I'll keep an eye on her," Jack told him.
The Doctor and Rose soon reentered the Flesh room and made their way to the vat of Flesh and took out their sonic screwdrivers and used them on the Flesh. The liquid in the vat began to bubble. They then ran from the room. In the vat, a mouth appears at the surface.
"Trust us," the mouth from the vat said.
As they exited the Monastery, the Doctor and Rose stopped and looked down as they saw that the TARDIS was nearly completely sunk into acid-saturated ground.
"Oh. What are you doing down there?" The Doctor asked the TARDIS.
"How did the acid get to you?" Rose asked at the same time.
"Really!" The Doctor told the TARDIS as he began to reach into his pocket but stopped when he realized he was standing in a puddle of acid and Rose did the same as she realized the substance had been eating away at his boots and her converse sneakers and the Doctor left his boots and Rose left her converse sneakers as they headed back up the stairs into the courtyard.
The Doctor and Rose soon entered the acid room and looked around as they saw the acid suits and they continued looking at the floor and saw the legs of the gangers, they then looked up at them.
"Hello," The Doctor greeted them, "How are we all getting on?"
"Why don't you both tell us?" The ganger version of Cleaves asked them.
"Well, we have two choices," the Doctor told them, "The first is to tear each other apart, not our favorite, the second is to knuckle down and work together. Try to work out how best we can help you."
"Also we want to help both you and the originals to have a common ground," Rose added.
The Doctor and Rose were walking with the gangers who were in their full-form down one of the tunnels.
"Now, we know it's hard for you to hold your fully human form, that's why you keep shifting between the flesh stages, but do try it'll make the others less scared of you," the Doctor said as the real Cleaves watched from a stairwell behind them as they walked past before the ganger version of her stopped, causing her to stop as her Ganger turned her head 180 degrees.
In the dining hall, the ganger version of Jennifer was sitting on one side of the table as Rory stood beside her. Across from her was Buzzer, Jimmy and Dicken as Amy and Jack stood across from Rory.
"Where's Jen? What have you done with her?" Buzzer asked the ganger.
"I haven't seen her," she answered before pleading with them, "I swear. But, look, I'm her. I'm just like her. I'm real."
"You're a copy," Jimmy told them, "You're just pretending to be like her."
"Rory, um, we don't really know anything about them yet," Amy whispered to Rory.
"Well…" Rory began to say.
"And…" Amy began to say as well.
"I know that she's afraid and she needs our help," Rory told her.
"Rory," Amy muttered.
"I think this is the beginning of the Ganger Revolution," Jack muttered to Amy and Rory.
"What do you mean?" Amy asked him.
"Sometime in the mid 22nd century, Gangers were given equal rights after accidents and Gangers began to protest against their human counterparts," Jack explained.
"Jimmy, Buzzer, come on, you guys," the ganger version of Jennifer, pleading with them, 'We've worked together for two years.'
"I work with Jennifer Lucas, not you," Buzzer told her.
"Okay, let's not do anything at all," Amy began to say as the Doctor and Rose entered the room.
"Until the Doctor and Rose gets here. Hello," the Doctor finished for her as he and Rose entered the room with the four other gangers behind them.
"This is…" Jimmy began to say as he stared at his ganger.
"You're telling me," the ganger version of Jimmy said, agreeing with him.
"All right, Doctor and Rose, you both have brought us together, now what?" The ganger version of Cleaves asked the Time Lord.
"Before we do anything, I have one very important question, has anybody got a pair of shoes me and Rose could borrow?" The Doctor asked, "I'm a size 10 and she's a size 8. Although I should warn you, I have very wide feet and she'd want some converse shoes."
A while later, the Doctor was sitting on the edge of the table with Rose and was now wearing brown boots while Rose was wearing women's red converse shoes as Amy and Jack stood behind them. To one side were the originals and on the other were the gangers as the ganger version of Jennifer stood next to Rory.
"The flesh was never merely moss. These are not copies. The storm has hardwired them. They are becoming people," the Doctor explained.
"With souls?" Jimmy asked.
"Exactly," Rose answered.
"Rubbish," Dicken said with disbelief before sneezing, "Ah-choo!"
"Bless you," the ganger version of Dicken told the original Dicken before the ganger version of Cleaves looked at him, "What?"
"We were all jelly, once," the Doctor told them, "Little jelly eggs, sitting in goop."
"Yeah, thanks. Too much information," Amy told him with disgust.
"He's right though, Amy," Rose told her, "How else was life going to come about on Earth if not for Primordial soup billions of years ago."
"We are not talking about an accident that needs to be mopped up. We are talking about sacred life," the Doctor said, "Do you understand? Good. Now, the TARDIS is trapped in an acid pool. Once we could reach her, me and Rose can get you all off this island, humans and gangers, eh, how does that sound?"
"Can we get home for Adam's birthday?" Jimmy asked.
"What about me?" Jimmy's ganger asked, "He's my son, too."
"You? You really think that?" Jimmy asked him.
"I feel it," the ganger version of Jimmy answered.
"Oh, so you were there when he was born, were you?" Jimmy asked him.
"Yeah. I drank about 8 pints of tea and they told me I had a wee boy and I just burst out laughing," the ganger version of Jimmy answered before he chuckled, "No idea why. I miss home. As much as you."
"Look, I'm not going to lie to you. It's a right odd mess, this. But, as you might say up north, 'oh, well, I'll just go to t' foot of the stairs.' Ha ha ha. Eh, bye-bye, gum," the Doctor told them as he spoke in the same accent that Rose's current incarnation has, "Or not. Good. Right. The first step is we get everyone together, then get everyone safe, then get everyone out of here."
"But we're still missing Jennifer and Cleaves," Amy told them.
"I'll go and look for them," Jimmy said as he headed for the door.
"I'll give you a hand, if you like," the ganger version of Jimmy said as he joined him, "Cover more ground."
"Yeah. Okay. Thanks," Jimmy said, accepting his help.
With everyone watching both Jimmys, they didn't see Cleaves enter behind them, "This circus has gone on long enough!"
"Oh, great. You see, that is just so typically me," the ganger version of Cleaves said as she held a device in her hand that crackled with electricity.
"Doctor, tell it to shut up," Cleaves ordered the Time Lord.
"Please, no. No! No!" The Doctor pleaded.
"Circuit probe. Fires about, oh, 40,000 volts," Cleaves explained, "It would kill any one of us, so I guess she'll work on gangers, just the same."
"It's interesting you refer to them as 'it,' but you call a glorified cattle prod a 'she,'" the Doctor told her.
"When the real people are safely off this island, then I'll happily talk philosophy over a pint with you, Doctor," Cleaves told him.
"What are you going to do to them?" Amy asked.
"I think she wants to kill them," Rose answered.
"Sorry, they're monsters, mistakes," Cleaves told her, "Like what Rose said, I'm going to have to kill them as they have to be destroyed."
"Give me the probe, Cleaves," the Doctor ordered her.
"We always have to take charge, don't we, Miranda?" The ganger version of Cleaves said, "Even when we don't really know what the hell is going on." The ganger version of Buzzer then charged at Cleaves before she fired at him three times, causing him to fall to the ground as the Doctor ran over to him and kneeled beside him with Rose.
"Stop! Oh! Ah! He's dead!" The Doctor said with anger.
"We call it 'decommissioned,'" Cleaves told him and moved the probe around in the air and the ganger version of Jennifer gasped and ducked when it was aimed in her direction.
"You stopped his heart," Rose told her with as much anger as her husband did, "He had a heart! Aorta, valves — a real, human heart! And you stopped it."
"Jen?" Rory called out to the ganger version of Jennifer.
"What happened to Buzz will happen to us all, if we trust you!" The ganger version of Jennifer told the Doctor.
"Wait, wait. Just wait," the Doctor said, pleading with them as he stood up.
"No!" Rory said as he rushed at Cleaves and knocked her to the ground and took the probe away from her as the Gangers took advantage of the situation and ran out of the room.
"You idiot!" Cleaves said.
"Wait!" The Doctor yelled as Rory got up as did Cleaves, "Look at what you've done, Cleaves."
"If it's war, then it's war. You don't get it, Doctor. How can you? It's us and them now," Cleaves said before turning to Jimmy, Dicken and Buzzer, "Us... And them."
"Us and them," Dicken said.
"Us and them," Jimmy sighed after a few seconds of hesitation before both the Doctor and Rose sighed as they were unhappy at how things turned out.
"Look, I just wanted to help her," Rory told his wife as they kneeled in the back of the room as they were covering up the remains of the ganger version of Buzzer's body.
"Well, we all do, okay?" She told him.
"Don't be like that, she's…" Rory began to say.
"I said I agree with you, so stop it," Amy told him.
"The most fortified and defendable room in the monastery?" The Doctor asked before turning his head towards Cleaves, "Cleaves, the most fortified and defendable room in the monastery?"
"The chapel," Cleaves answered as she turned to the Doctor.
"Thank you," he replied.
"Only one way in, stone walls, 2 feet thick," Cleaves added.
"You've crossed one hell of a line, Cleaves. You've killed one of them," Rose told her, "They're coming back. In a big way."
"Like it or not, you've just started a revolution," Jack added.
In one of the tunnels, the original Jennifer walked cautiously through the tunnels.
"Jennifer!" Rory called.
"Rory?" She called as she heard his voice as she limped along, panting before she neglected to look up where her ganger was pressed against the ceiling.
In another section of the tunnels, the Doctor, Rose, Jack and the others rushed towards the chapel.
"What about the flares?" Jimmy asked.
"We'll worry about the flares when we're locked inside," the Doctor answered as the three humans rushed through leaving the Doctor, Rose, Amy and Rory outside the chapel, "Rory Pond."
"Rory? Come on," Amy said as Rory heard Jennifer scream and hesitates to go with them.
"Jen's out there. She's out there and she's on her own," Rory said as he headed down the tunnel.
"Well, if she's got any sense, then she's hiding," Rose told him, "Rory!"
"I can't leave her out there!" Rory retorted.
"Rory!" Jack yelled.
"I know you three understand that," Rory told them.
"Get in here. Get in here!" Amy ordered her husband.
The Gangers then arrived through the other end of the hallway, wearing acid suits, causing Rory to dashe off through a side corridor.
"There they are!" The ganger version of Cleaves said as they walked towards them.
"Amy," the Doctor said as he grabbed Amy by the arm and pulled her through the doorway after Rose and Jack entered the chapel
"Rory!" Amy yelled as the Doctor slammed the door.
The Doctor gripped Amy by the arms as the others blocked the door with what they could find.
"Amy, Amy, they are not after him, they're after us," he told her.
From one of the dark corners comes a voice.
"Why? Why?" They heard a masculine voice say in a South English accent, similar to the Doctor's voice.
"Why does it hurt so much?" They heard another voice say, but this one was feminine and had a Northern accent similar to Rose's.
"Show yourselves. Show yourselves!" The Doctor ordered.
"Ah!" The voices groaned in pain.
They were building a blockade against the door as the Doctor and Rose cautiously approached the corner.
"Doctor!" Amy called.
"Pass me the barrel," Cleaves said.
"We need something heavy. Anything you can find," Jack added.
"This is insane. We're fighting ourselves," Jimmy laughed as Amy watched both Gallifreyans
"Yes, it's insane and it's about to get even more insanerer," the Doctor said, "Is that a word? Show yourselves! Right now!"
"Doctor, Rose! We are trapped in here and Rory is out there, with them," Amy reminded them, "Hello! We can't get to the TARDIS and we can't even leave the island."
"You're right, Amy," they heard Rose's voice say but it wasn't coming from her mouth and she and the Doctor were stunned as the others.
"It's frightening, unexpected, frankly, a total, utter, splattering mess on the carpet, but I'm certain, 100% certain, that we can work this out," the Doctor's voice added but like Rose, the words weren't coming from his mouth as out from the shadows emerged a ganger version of the Doctor and Rose with half-formed faces, "Trust me. I'm the Doctor and this is my wife, Rose."

Please review.
Also what should the ganger version of Rose call herself, Rose Tyler or Arkytior?
