Disneyland was dead thanks to the pandemic, and the Harolds were bored.

One of the Harolds swiped the phone of a passing Cast Member and used it to watch Disney+.

This was how they discovered Cool Runnings. And inspired by Cool Runnings, they wanted to start a bobsled team. But there were only three of them.

There was three man bobsled.

But with some Googling, one of the Harolds discovered a way they could compete against each other.

Skeleton.

So into the half-basketball court they broke to create their skeleton luges.

A few weeks later, they were done, and the Park was still closed.

So down the coaster they went, one, by one, by one.

They had their fun on the bobsled runs turned temporary skeleton runs.

Characters from across the Park heard about the skeleton run and came down whenever the Cast Members weren't around. Pretty soon, brave characters would try the skeleton for themselves. Then came the sports betting.

It turned into a nightly gathering that continued even after Disneyland Resort reopened.

But of course, the Harolds just had to argue among themselves over who was best at skeleton.

And the Cast Member didn't get his phone back.

A/N:

There are three Yetis on Matterhorn Bobsleds (which is weird because the Yeti is a Himalayan thing), all of them are nicknamed Harold.

Skeleton is a sport where it's basically like one man bobsled, but you lie prone on a luge. Best winter sport - huge fan.

There really is a half basketball court in the Matterhorn - it's not a myth. It's shown in The Imagineering Story documentary on Disney+.
