Settling In
Disclaimer: Just another of those lovely things that hit me and I'm assuming that by this point, he's graduated from College.
Summary: He's been around the World and through Time, a College Graduate, an adept Student of the Ways of the Speed Force, and now, Wally's making himself at home again in Keystone City.
"Yo, Tail Lights, you sure about this place? Kinda small." Questioned a Caucasian Male with Redhair as he brought in a box into the one Bedroom House.
Wally himself chuckled, mainly over the Nickname he hadn't heard in awhile and because of the question. "Yeah, I'm sure, its perfect for my needs since I don't need much."
Sure, he could've gotten a bigger place thanks to Keystone Motors paying him quite a bit for his designs after he finally agreed to come work for them once he knew he was settling down in one place for good after his travels, but a bigger place likely would've put unwanted attention on him considering he planned to be the Flash of Keystone. And yes, he is planning to go by 'Flash' and not 'Kid Flash' since he felt he'd out grown that Name and didn't necessarily think Barry would take issue with it. Especially considering Jay Garrick goes by that name too. Or… Did anyway until Crisis happened. His Dad and Iris weren't all that happy he chose to settle down in Keystone since they'd have preferred his being much closer but ultimately they let it be since they wanted him to be happy. "Alright, that makes sense… But what about Parties?" Asked the Redhead known as Mitch.
Shrugging as he sipped on some Water, the Speedster turned to his friend with a grin on his face. "Well… There's always your place. And aren't we a little old for that kinda thing now?"
Mitch laughed. "Never too old for fun, bro!" He replied and Wally chuckled as he shook his head.
Moving back was definitely the right choice.
And once Mitch was gone and he got things set up how he wanted them, Wally would suit up and head out into the City and let them know they had their own Hero now.
Author's Notes: I've been thinking again recently about doing a Multi-Chaptered Wally centered fic and this may be how I start it by using this idea.
