The Swamp Boys had moved around quite a bit in their long history at Disneyland Park. They had originated at America Sings. But when that shut down, they were re-assigned to Splash Mountain, where they'd been for over thirty years now.

Overall, the hillbilly alligators had spent forty-eight years at the Park, just making music. The right alligator on guitar. The left alligator on concertina. The middle one on banjo. And a raccoon on harmonica - though he'd been assigned elsewhere on the ride.

They knew Splash Mountain would soon be closing for a Princess and the Frog makeover because of racial stereotyping. They were on social media - they weren't stupid.

They didn't know what their futures held. Whether they'd be jamming together on the new ride, in the Walt Disney Archives, or somewhere else, they just hoped they'd be together.

Fifty year old friendships were hard to break, after all.

A/N:

I don't know what'll happen to these guys. But those three alligators and that raccoon, they'll always be a part of Disney Parks history. It's not often characters are a part of two attractions, after all.
