Disclaimer: I Don't own Doctor Who that goes to the BBC

Inside a restaurant a string quartet was playing Pachelbel's 'Canon in D', as ladies and gentlemen were dining on fine food and wine, when suddenly the atmosphere was broken by machine gun fire, causing the women to scream as everyone ducked behind the tables as melody entered the restaurant, aiming machine guns at the ceiling.

"Ladies and gentlemen... I don't have a thing to wear," Melody said before chuckling as she aimed her machine guns at them, "Take off your clothes."

"OK, all of Berlin, how do we find her?" Rory asked as he, Jack and Rory soon pulled up outside an impressive building.

"I don't know. Look for clues," Amy surmised.

"I was thinking the exact same thing," Jack said, agreeing with Amy.

"Clues? What kind of clues?!" Rory asked them.

"Shut up…" Amy said when suddenly the doors of the building opened and the restaurant clientele came running out in their under garments.

"OK," Rory muttered.

"River is definitely in there," Jack said when they heard the sound of a motorcycle next to them and turned to see a look-a-like of Amy riding it as the look-a-like turned around towards them.

"Now, look at that! Now that's fun... from every angle!" Melody said, giggling as she was trying on various pieces of clothing in front of a mirror when Amy suddenly opened the doors and ran in, "Now, dear, I told you not to follow me." Amy continued to walk forward, face cold.

Amy, Jack and Rory gasped as they got up off a floor as they found themselves in a mysterious place

"OK. OK, I am trapped inside a giant robot replica of my wife," Rory surmised, "I'm really trying not to see this as a metaphor."

"How can we be in here?" Amy asked, "How do we fit?"

"Miniaturisation ray," Jack explained.

"How would you know that?" Amy asked the ex-Time Agent.

"Well, there was a ray and we were miniaturised," Jack explained, "Which is very common in the 51st century."

"All right," Amy muttered when they suddenly heard an electronic buzzing as a metal jellyfish-like creature known as an antibody began rising from the floor.

"Welcome. You are unauthorised. Your death will now be implemented," the antibody told them.

"Yeah, well, see if I die, I'll just come back to life," Jack told the antibody, "I'm immortal."

"Um... what's that?" Amy asked them.

"Er, I don't know, it's in your head," Rory answered.

"I don't know either," Jack said, agreeing with Rory.

"Please remain calm while your life is terminated," the antibody told the three humans.

"We come in peace!" Amy said, pulling her hands up as she, Jack and Rory backed away from the antibody.

"When has that ever worked?" Rory asked his wife.

"Yeah, it has never worked," Jack said, agreeing with Rory.

"Oh, shut up!" Amy told them as they found that the other corridors were blocked by more of the antibodies.

"Please cooperate in your officially sanctioned termination," the antibody said, "It is normal to experience fear during your incineration."

"Stop, I got a sonic," Amy told the antibodies as they were backed against a wall as she pulled out the Doctor's sonic screwdriver.

"What are you doing?" Rory asked her.

"I don't know," Amy answered.

"Psychic interface, just point and think," Jack told her.

"I know, but what do I think?" Amy asked them.

"I don't know!" Rory answered.

"I don't know either!" Jack said, agreeing with Rory.

Electricity crackled as the antibodies got closer when the door behind them suddenly slid open as a man with light skin and black hair named Jim appeared in the doorway.

"It's OK. Stay still and don't move," Jim said as he slipped green light devices over Amy, Jack and Rory's wrists, "Privileges activated. See? Activated." He then helds Amy and Rory's arms up as Jack did the same for himself as he knew that man wanted him to do the same thing for the antibodies to see.

"You are authorised. Your existence will continue," the antibodies said before leaving.

"You can put your hands down," Jim told them, "This is Justice Department Vehicle 6018. You're not guilty of anything. Welcome aboard the Teselecta."

"I might take the age down a little, just gradually, to freak people out," Melody said as she now had an officer's uniform jacket over her other clothes.

"You killed the Doctor and Rose Smith," the Teselecta disguising as Amy told her.

"Oh, yes, I know, dear. I hope you're not going to keep on about it," River told the Teselecta as she put an officer's cap over her head, "Oh, regeneration, it's a whole new colouring to work with."

"You killed the Doctor and Rose Smith on the orders of the movement known as the Silence and Academy of the Question," the Teselecta said as it moved around to face Melody as she removed the cap from her head, "You accept and know this to be true."

"Quite honestly, I don't really remember," Melody told the Teselecta, "It was all a bit of a jumble."

The teselecta then pushed the mirror out of the way and opened its mouth as a beam of light enveloped Melody, who backed away as she cried out in terror, "No! No! Get off me!"

"Sorry, did you say she killed the Doctor and Rose Smith?" They suddenly heard the Doctor say as they turned to see him leaning against the TARDIS on the dais with Rose as he was dressed in tails and a top hat and had a cane, while Rose was dressed similar to what she wore to Lazarus' party and Amy and Rory's wedding, "The Doctor? Doctor who?"

"And who is this Rose Smith?" Rose asked as well.

"You said they were dying," a man with light skin and blonde hair, who was the teselecta's captain named Carter said as he sat in his seat in the Teselecta's bridge.

"They are!" A woman with black hair named Anita told him.

"When you're done here, your memories will be wiped and you'll be able…" Jim said as he entered the Teselecta's bridge with Rory, Jack and Amy.

"Oh, great. Another memory wipe," Jack muttered.

"So, you've had memory wipes before then?" Jim asked him.

"Yeah, two years of my memory when I was part of the Time Agency," Jack answered.

"Doctor? Rose?" Amy suddenly said as she saw both Gallifreyans through the Teselecta's screen in front of them.

"You're both dying and you two stopped to change?" Melody told both Gallifreyans with disbelief in her voice.

"Oh, you should always waste time when you don't have any," the Doctor said, spinning around with his came before he grabbed Rose by the hand as they walked down the steps as he twirled his cane, "Time is not the boss of you - Rule 408." He then faced the Teselecta disguising as Amy, "Amelia Pond, judgment death machine. Why am I not surprised? Are you not surprised either, Rose?"

"I'm not surprised, either, Doctor," Rose said, agreeing with her husband.

"Sonic cane!" The Doctor said as the top of his cane opened up, revealing a part of his sonic screwdriver embedded within his cane.

"Oh, brother," Rose muttered to herself.

"Are you serious, Doctor?" Melody asked the Time Lord as he began scanning the Teselecta with the sonic cane.

"Never knowingly. Never knowingly be serious," the Doctor answered, "Rule 27. You might want to write these down." He then checked the readings from his sonic cane as he stopped scanning the Teselecta, "Oh, it's a robot! With 423 life signs inside. A robot worked by tiny people. Love it! But how do you all get in there, though?"

"I'm wondering too," Rose said, agreeing with her husband.

"Bigger on the inside?" He asked them, "No, basic miniaturisation sustained by a compression field. Oh, watch what you eat, it'll get you every time. Amy, if you, Jack and Rory are OK, signal me and Rose."

Amy from inside the Teselecta then activated the Doctor's sonic screwdriver as the Doctor read the signal on the cane.

"Thanking you," the Doctor said, thanking her.

"Yeah, thanks, Amy," Rose said, agreeing with her husband.

"Why did you do that?" Carter asked Amy when suddenly both the Doctor and Rose cried out in pain.

The Doctor and Rose then began to lose control of their legs.

"Oops, sorry, legs went to sleep. Just had a quick left leg power nap, I forgot I had one scheduled," the Doctor apologized.

"Me too," Rose said, agreeing with her husband.

"Actually, better sit down, I think I heard the right one yawning. Come on, Rose," he added as both Gallifreyans sat on the dais steps as Melody tried to run for the door, only for the Teselecta to once again shoot a beam of light at her.

"Don't you touch her! Do not harm her in any way," the Doctor and Rose both ordered the Teselecta at the same time before the Teselecta closed its mouth as Melody was caught in a containment field.

"Why would either of you care?" Carter asked both Gallifreyans as he spoke into a microphone by his chair that controls the Teselecta's voice, which currently sounded like Amy's voice, "She is the woman who kills you both."

"We're not dead," the Doctor told him as he removed his top hat.

"You're both dying," the Teselecta explained.

"Well, at least we're not time-travelling shape-shifting robots operated by miniaturised cross people, which, I have got to admit, I didn't see coming," the Doctor told the Teselecta.

"Nor did I see this coming either," Rose said, agreeing with her husband.

"What do you want with her?" The Doctor asked as he pointed his cane at Melody.

"She's Melody Pond," the Teselecta answered.

"According to records, the woman who kills the Doctor and Rose Smith," Carter added as he continued speaking into his chair's microphone.

"And We're the Doctor and Rose Smith, what's it to you?" The Doctor asked the Teselecta.

"Throughout history, many criminals have gone unpunished in their lifetimes," Carter said as he stood up and grabbed the microphone from his chair's microphone stand, "Time travel has... responsibilities."

"What?" The Doctor laughed, "You got yourselves time travel, so you decided to punish dead people?"

"Yeah, that sounds crazy 'cause the Time Lords or the Time Agency never did anything like that," Rose said, agreeing with her husband.

"We don't kill them," Carter explained, "We extract them near the end of their established timelines."

"And then what?" Both Gallifreyans asked him.

"Give them hell," Carter answered.

"I'd ask you who you think you are, but I think the answer is pretty obvious," the Doctor told him, "So, who do you think we are?" He then pointed his cane at Melody, "'The woman who killed the Doctor and Rose Smith'. It sounds like you've got our biographies in there. I'd love a peek."

"Me too," Rose said, agreeing with her husband as she stuck her tongue between her teeth, "Can we see it?"

"Our records office is sealed to the public," Carter told both Gallifreyans, "Foreknowledge is dangerous."

"Yes, well, we'll be dead in three minutes," the Doctor reminded them, "There isn't much foreknowledge left."

"My husband's right," Rose said, agreeing with the Doctor, "But can we please see it?"

"Sorry, can't do that," Carter apologized as he sat back down in his seat.

"The Doctor and Rose are my best friends. That woman is my daughter," Amy told Carter as she pulled his chair around and leaned into his face.

"And Rose is like a sister to me," Jack added.

"You give them anything they want," Amy told Carter.

"If they're family and friends, they have privileges," Jim told Carter, who then tapped buttons on Amy's wrist device, "Say, Access personal records, the Doctor and Rose Smith."

"Access personal records, the Doctor and Rose Smith," Amy said, repeating what Jim said into her wrist device.

"Records available," the Teselecta said as both the Doctor and Rose stood up with great effort with the Doctor holding Rose's hand as he used his other hand to lean heavily with his cane.

"Question. We're dying... who wants us dead?" The Doctor asked the Teselecta.

"The Silence," the Teselecta answered.

"What is the Silence?" Rose asked, "Why is it called that? What does it mean?"

"The Silence is not a species. It is a religious order, or movement. Their core belief is that silence will fall when the question is asked," the Teselecta answered.

"What question?" The Doctor asked.

"The first question. The oldest question in the universe, hidden in plain sight," the Teselecta answered.

"Yes, but what is the question?" Both Gallifreyans asked at the same time.

"Unknown," the Teselecta answered.

"Well, fat lot of use that is, you big ginge! Call yourself a Records…" The Doctor said before he fell to the floor as Rose did the same as they screamed in pain, "Kidneys are always the first to quit."

"Agreed, Doctor," Rose said, agreeing with her husband.

"We've had better, you know," the Doctor added.

"OK, they're finished," Anita announced.

"Oh, my God!" Amy said as she looked away as Rory went to comfort her.

"This is too soon," Jack muttered as he looked away as well.

"Well, then, let's do what we do," Carter said, "Give her hell."

The field around Melody turned red as it now looked like a flame as she began screaming in agony.

"Amy! Jack! Rory! Amy," The Doctor and Rose said as they began pulling themselves across the floor with their hands, "Can you hear me?"

"Yeah," Amy answered.

"You can talk to them," Carter said as he handed her the microphone.

"What do we do?" Amy asked both Gallifreyans with the Teselecta's microphone, "This is me. This is me actually talking. What do we do?"

"Just stop them," the Doctor told her, "She's your daughter, just stop them."

"How, how? How?" Amy asked both Gallifreyans.

"Just do it, Amy!" Rose told her.

Amy then recalls the antibodies and the devices that Jim placed on her, Jack and Rory and realizes what they had to do with the antibodies and how the green light saved them from them before as she saw that everyone was wearing the devices and there is an antibody resting in a console as she pulls out the Doctor's sonic screwdriver.

"What are you doing?" Rory and Jack asked her at the same time.

"Pointing and thinking. Get ready to run," she told them as she used the Doctor's sonic screwdriver on her device, causing it to turn red as an alarm went off as the antibody rose up.

"You are unauthorised. Your death will now be implemented," the antibody told them.

"OK, Captain, release her now, or I take down the whole Teselecta," Amy warned Carter.

"Amy?" Rory said with shock in his voice.

"I think I know what she's getting at," Jack told Rory.

"You can't," Carter told Amy.

"They can," she explained as she leaned over his back as she used the Doctor's sonic screwdriver on everyone else's devices as their wrists as Anita and Jim tried to get their devices on their wrists working again, "Rory, Jack, go!"

"All privileges withdrawn," one of the antibodies stated as Amy, Jack and Rory ran for the lift.

"What have you done?" Jim asked Amy as she, Jack and Rory entered the lift as the lift's door closed.

"All life forms prepare for immediate decease. You will experience a tingling sensation and then death," one of the antibodies said as one of them wrapped two of their tentacles around Anita's neck.

"Shut it down!" Carter ordered.

"I'm trying!" Jim told him.

"Shut everything down!" Carter ordered as everyone began to pull wires, causing the Teselecta to power down.

As the Teselecta was powering down, Melody was freed as the Doctor and Rose both looked up at her.

"Please, now the three of us have to save your parents and Jack," the Doctor told Melody, "Don't run. Now, I know you're scared, but never run when you're scared. Rule 7. Please." Melody looked at both Gallifreyans and then at the Teselecta.

"Remain calm while your life is extracted," the antibodies of the Teselecta said as Amy, Jack and Rory ran out of the lift into a corridor as they saw members of the Teselecta were being attacked by the antibodies.

"Run! Keep running," Amy ordered her husband and Jack.

"Where?" Rory asked her.

"Yeah, where do we go?" Jack asked, agreeing with her.

"I don't know, just run!" Amy answered as they ran down the corridor.

"Mothership. Mothership, get us out of here." Carter said, using a radio to call for help, "Emergency beam up now. Everyone!" Carter, Jim and the rest of the crew were then transmatted away from the Teselecta.

"Only three life forms remain. This will be rectified," one of the antibodies said.

"Where did everyone go?" Amy asked as she, Rory and Jack realized that everyone had transmatted out of the Teselecta.

"How can they just disappear?" Rory asked as well.

"They were transmatted away," Jack explained.

"Doctor, Rose, can you both help us?" Amy asked as she pulled the microphone back out, "Doctor? Rose? Doctor, Rose, help us!"

"Doctor, Rose, help us!" The Teselecta disguised as Amy pleaded with both the Doctor and Rose, who were both on the floor, holding each other's hands as they had their eyes closed, "Doctor, Rose, please!" The Doctor and Rose then opened their eyes as they stood back up with great difficulty as they began to head for the TARDIS as Melody watched from a chair as they fell onto the steps, "Doctor! Rose! Help!"

"Look at you two. You both still care," Melody told the two Gallifreyans with surprise as she watched them trying to pull themselves up the steps.

"Doctor! Rose! Help! Doctor, Rose, help us! Please help us," the Teselecta disguised as Amy pleaded with both the Doctor and Rose again.

"It's impressive, I'll give you both that," Melody told the Doctor and Rose.

"River, please…" The Doctor pleaded with Melody.

"Yeah, River, help us save Jack and your parents," Rose said, agreeing with her husband.

"Again? Who is this River that you both are referring to?" Melody asked them as she stood up, "She's got to be a female friend of yours, am I right?"

"Listen to Rose. Help us. Save Jack, Amy and Rory. Help us," the Doctor pleaded with Melody as both Gallifreyans had their arms stretched on the steps with one of their hands reaching for the TARDIS.

"Tell me about her. Go on," Melody urged them.

"Now's not the time," Rose told her, "You have to save Jack and your parents."

"Aaargh... just... help us," the Doctor told Melody.

Amy, Jack and Rory were running down the corridor to the Teselecta's iris before Amy tried to open the iris but the panel wouldn't recognize her as they began to be surrounded by the antibodies who followed each other.

"You are unauthorised. Your death will now be implemented," the antibodies told the three humans.

"Rory, I love you," Amy told Rory as they faced each other as Jack pulled out his revolver to defend himself against the antibodies.

"I love you too," Rory told her as he hugged her head to his chest as the antibodies continued to approach them.

"You are unauthorised. Your death will now be implemented," the antibodies said, repeating themselves as the TARDIS materialized around them.

"Doctor? Rose? Doctor, Rose, they did it. They did it!" Amy said as the three of them laughed with relief before stopping as they saw Melody on the other side of the TARDIS' console.

"I seem to be able to fly her. She showed me how. She taught me. The Doctor and Rose said I'm the child of the TARDIS," Melody told them, "What do they mean?"

"'Cause you were conceived in the Time Vortex," Jack explained.

"Where are they?" Amy asked her.

The Doctor and Rose were lying on their backs on the stairs as Jack, Amy and Rory kneeled beside them as Amy held The Doctor's hand in hers.

"You and Rose can't die now," Amy told the Doctor, "I know you both don't die now."

"Oh, Pond! You've got a schedule for everything," the Doctor told her.

"But it doesn't… It doesn't make any sense," Amy told him.

"How do we help you both?" Jack asked both Gallifreyans.

"Doctor, Rose, what do we do?" Rory asked them as well, "Come on. How do we help you both?"

"No, sorry, Rory. You can't. Nobody can help us," the Doctor told Rory, "Ponds, listen to me, we need to talk to your daughter."

"You two, Jack, we need to talk to Melody alone," Rose told the ex-Time Agent.

Rory, Amy and Jack got up as they walked to where Melody was standing as she slowly walked to the Doctor and Rose and kneeled beside them.

"Find her. Find River Song and tell her something from us," the Doctor told her.

"Tell her what?" Melody asked them.

The Doctor tugged on her jacket as Melody bent over so he could whisper in her ear before Rose did the same.

"Well, I'm sure she knows those things," River told them as she lifted her head and saw that the Doctor and Rose were now unconscious before backing away to Jack, Amy and Rory, "Who's River Song?"

"Are you still working?" Amy asked the Teselecta as she approached it after looking at Rory and Jack, who both nodded, "Because I'm still a relative. Access files on River Song."

"Records available," the Teselecta told her.

"Show me her. Show me River Song," Amy ordered the Teselecta as the Teselecta began changing its appearance from Amy to River Song as Melody saw herself standing before her in her outfit when she's at Stormcage as she turned to the Doctor and Rose, her eyes getting teary as Amy walked over to Rory, who held her, "Melody, what did they say? The Doctor and Rose both gave you a message for River Song. What was it?" Melody's hands started to glow with regeneration energy as she began to approach the Doctor and Rose, "What's happening? What are you doing?"

"Just tell me. The Doctor and Rose, are they worth it?" Melody asked them as she lifted her hands.

"Yes. Yes, they are," Amy answered as Melody held her arms out towards both Gallifreyans, who inhaled sharply as they opened their eyes.

"River? No! What are you doing?" The Doctor and Rose both asked at the same time.

"Hello, Doctor. Hello, Rose," Melody said, greeting them as she began transferring her regeneration energy to the Doctor and Rose.

A few hours later in a hospital, Rory and Amy bent over a bed that Melody was sleeping unconscious in as she slowly regained consciousness.

"Hey," Amy said, greeting her daughter.

"Hey," Melody said, greeting her back, "Where am I?"

"You're safe now," Amy told her, "Apparently, you used all your remaining regenerations in one go. You shouldn't have done that."

"Mother, I had to try," Melody explained.

"I know," Amy assured Melody.

"They said no one could save them but they must have known I could," Melody surmised.

"Rule one," they heard the Doctor say as the others turned to look at him and Rose, who were standing by a window as they were out of their formal clothes and into their regular clothes as Jack stood near the Time Lord couple, "The Doctor lies."

"And Rule two," Rose said, "Don't wander off."

"She just needs to rest," a female nurse told them, "She'll be absolutely fine."

"No, she won't," the Doctor said as he walked over to Melody's bed stand and set down a diary that was designed like the TARDIS on it as Amy, Rory and Jack realized that it was River's diary before it was hers as it had a red ribbon tied on it, "She will be... amazing."

"So that's it? We leave her there?" Amy asked the Doctor and Rose as both Gallifreyans were setting the TARDIS controls.

"Sisters of the Infinite Schism, greatest hospital in the universe," the Doctor told her.

"Yeah, it is one of the greatest hospitals in the universe like the one on New Earth is," Rose said, agreeing with her husband, "Aside from them breeding their own humans to create cures for every known disease in the galaxy."

"Yeah, but she's our daughter. Doctor, Rose, she's River and she's our daughter," Amy reminded them.

"Amy, I know. But we have to let her make her own way now. We have too much foreknowledge," the Doctor explained before looking at the monitor as he saw himself, Rose's next incarnation as well as the time and place of their deaths at Lake Silencio, Utah on April 22nd, 2011 at 5:02 p.m, "Dangerous thing, foreknowledge."

"What's that?" Amy asked him.

"Nothing. Just some data from the Teselecta. Very boring," he lied as he turned the monitor off.

"Doctor, Rose. I think it's time for me to leave," Jack told both Gallifreyans.

"What?" Rose said with surprise, "I love having you around."

"I know you do, Rosie," Jack told her, "But in the last few weeks I've been thinking about restarting Torchwood and rebuild in your honours again."

"Okay, Jack. We'll drop you off in Cardiff before we go on our next adventure," the Doctor told Jack.

"Jack, go get your things, by time we finish setting the coordinates, we'll drop you off," Rose told Jack.

"Will do, Rosie," Jack said as he left the console room to his suite.

"Doctor, Rose, River was brainwashed to kill the two of you?" Rory asked both Gallifreyans.

"Well, she did, and then used her remaining lives to bring us back," the Doctor answered.

"And if she didn't we'd be dead," Rose added.

"But that stuff that they put in her head, is that gone now?" Rory asked them, "The River that we know in the future, she is in prison for the murder of two people."

"Who were the people that she murdered?" Amy asked both Gallifreyans, causing the Doctor and Rose to exchange a look before smiling, while Rory looked upset that he didn't get an answer, "Will we see her again?"

"Oh, she'll come looking for us," the Doctor answered.

"Yeah, but how? How do people even look for you two?" Amy asked both Gallifreyans.

"Oh, Pond! Haven't you figured that one out yet?" He asked her.

"They do all sorts of things," Rose answered, "Like for instance, Jack based himself in Cardiff for a version of the Doctor that would coincide with him, that being his last incarnation with the two years before he found us he was using the Doctor's previous incarnation's hand that was cut off during his regeneration cycle that was in a jar and called it a 'Doctor detector.' But River will go into archeology to find us."

"Yeah, she will," the Doctor said, agreeing with her, "But I need you two to help Jack sort his things or something because Rose and I need to talk in private about something."

"What is it that you want to talk about?" Rose asked her husband after Amy and Rory left the console room.

"This, Arkytior," he answered as he switched the monitor back on, showing her the data that he downloaded from the Teselecta.

"We're gonna die in the near future?" She gasped before noticing that she looks different in the picture, "It looks like I'm gonna regenerate in the near future before this happens."

"Yeah, it seems that you will," the Doctor said, agreeing with her, "But it could be in the next few years or the next few hundred years."

"I really hope its in the next few hundred years," she told him, "'Cause I've been in this body for three years like my previous one, even though you were in your last body for six years."

"Me too, Arkytior," he said as he began hugging her, "Me too."

Please review.

And should Rose regenerate in Closing Time by Cybermen similar to how they caused the twelfth Doctor to regenerate?
