There they were. The avatar and the water tribe girl. They were figuring out what they meant to each other. With a kiss. A passionate one. Aang's heart started beating like crazy. He was both relieved and happy at the same time. Katara, on the other hand, was pretty confident and very happy. They broke up the kiss as they both quietly sighed. It wasn't a sad sigh. It was a sigh of relief.

"So-uh..." Aang finally said even though he was still speechless. "No more confusion?"

Katara smiled, "I don't think there ever was any."

Suddenly, Aang said the words that would make both of them feel like they were on cloud nine.

"I love you, Katara. I've always had. Since day one."

Katara's heart jumped. She was not expecting that. Well, she knew how much he liked her, but she never thought that he loved her.

"I love you too, Aang." Katara blushed and said without a second thought. Aang immediately leaned in for another passionate kiss. Katara complied.

Meanwhile, the rest of the gaang was teasing Sokka and his terrible art skills. Iroh stepped out to walk to the kitchen while the rest of them stayed talking and laughing. The war was finally over, and they were happy to hang out with each other knowing that they had many new responsibilities and duties ahead of them.

Toph snickered, "Way to go Twinkletoes."

The rest of the gang heard and stared at her confused. Sooner or later, the gaang knew what she meant and started giggling. Sokka, being the oaf he is, was still confused. He shrugged it off and continued on his portrait of the group.

Out of nowhere he noticed who was missing from the group. He stood up but Suki caught his arm.

"Where are you going Sokka?" Suki asked.

"I am going to look for Aang and Katara. I want to show them my portrait." Sokka replied.

Iroh walked in the room. "While you're at it, tell your friends about the Earth King's upcoming meeting and how he wants all of us to attend."

Sokka nodded and went outside. The rest of the gaang quietly mourned for Aang knowing what Sokka will do when he saw them together. Sokka opened the door leading to the balcony and saw his best friend and sister basically making out. His mouth hung upon and he almost immediately charged at Aang. Toph had previously taught Aang how to use seismic waves as an earth bending technique. Even though he wasn't a master at it, he could still feel Sokka coming. He broke off the kiss and saw Sokka running towards them. Before Sokka could tackle him though, Katara stood in front of him and stared at Sokka.

"Have you ever heard of knocking?!" she yelled at him.

"First of all, you aren't supposed to knock before going outside! And what the heck were you two doing?!" Sokka yelled back.

The siblings started arguing. It could even be heard from inside the teashop. Aang tried breaking them apart.

"Uh guys...?" Aang said.

"Time out. What is it Aang?" Sokka replied.

"What were you going to tell us before you caught us- you know... kissing?"

"Ohhh yea! The Earth King needs us back at the palace in a few days to attend a meeting."

"Okay okay, you can go now Sokka. We would like some privacy." Katara snapped at him.

"Uh NO! You are my little sister; therefore, you are both going back inside with the rest of us so we can supervise." Sokka said.

They couldn't argue anymore since they were already very embarrassed. They gave in and walked inside. The gaang was surprised to see Aang come back in one piece.

"Ahh Sokka brought back the two love birds." Suki giggled.

The pair just blushed. The teasing went on for a few and then they decided to go to bed. It was already pretty late and most of them were tired. They went back to their rooms that Iroh let them stay in during their visit.
