Everything felt right for Aang. He was so happy yet excited for the next day to come. All he thought about was Katara. The love of his life. He couldn't sleep. He was so eager to see her again. He finally decided to get out of bed and headed towards the hallway.

Meanwhile, Katara also couldn't sleep. She was also excited knowing that her and Aang finally kissed. Well, of course, they have kissed before. But this kiss was different. Much more meaningful. It was definitely her favorite so far. Though, she was confused as to where they stand. They love each other so does that mean they are dating. 'Is he my boyfriend?' thought Katara. She liked that word. 'My boyfriend.'

Aang headed towards a specific room in the hallway. 'She must be asleep' he thought. It didn't matter though. He just needed to see her beautiful face. He quietly opened the door leading to her bedroom. There she was. Lying in bed staring at the window. He could tell she was awake since he could kind of see her eyelashes blinking. He stepped forward walking towards her. Katara heard footsteps and turned around.

"Aang? What are you doing up?" Katara said.

"Oh, I thought you'd be happy to see me." he grinned.

Katara rolled her eyes and pat a spot on the bed next to her gesturing him to sit down. He nodded and sat on the rim of her bed.

"So, um... Aang. I have a question."

"What is it?" asked Aang curious to know.

"You see, I know that we both love each other but what does that exactly mean for us. I mean- are we dating? Are we a couple?"

Aang smiled. "What do you want it to mean?"

Katara blushed. She knew that Aang knew the answer to that question. He leaned in and gave her a peck on the lips.

"Sorry, it's all quite new to me. I've never had a real boyfriend, so I am still lost in this aspect." Katara said sincerely.

"Well, Katara, it's new for me too. But what do you mean by me being your first real boyfriend?" Aang cocked an eyebrow.

"You know what I mean!" Katara giggled.

The two stayed silent for a while. Blue eyes staring at gray eyes. They stayed like this for what seemed like years. None of them wanted to look away. Well that is until Katara yawned.

"Oh, I guess we should sleep now. Goodnight, Katara." He placed a kiss on her forehead.

Before he could leave, Katara grabbed his arm.

"Wait, Aang... can you- can you sleep here with me tonight?"

Aang blushed and nodded as he laid in bed with her. He fixed the pillow and the blanket. Katara laid her head on his chest.

"I love you, Aang."

"I love you too, Katara. So much."

Soon, the couple drifted off to a relaxing but really peaceful sleep.

Katara woke up to the warm feeling of the sun. It was still a good weather here in Ba Sing Se even though it was the Autumn season already. Soon enough, she felt a pair of arms wrapped around her. She looked over her shoulder and smiled. She had almost forgotten that Aang spent the night in her room. 'No wonder I slept so well' she thought. A few seconds later, Aang began stirring and he eventually woke up to the sight of a beautiful face looking at him. He smiled.

"I can get used to this." He said.

"Good morning to you too Aang." Katara smirked.

He gave her a kind gentle kiss.

"We should get up. If Sokka catches us...who knows what will happen." she said.

Aang nodded as they both got up. Aang quietly walked out of her room towards his own. He put on day clothes and walked off to the kitchen where everyone was serving their breakfast.

A few moments later, Katara walked in wearing a green dress similar to the one she had on yesterday. This time, her dress had different shades of green with flowers outlining the bottom. Aang was stunned when he saw her. Katara blushed at the fact that she still did that to him.

"Finally! Sugarqueen woke up. Took you long enough." Toph said.

The gaang all got their breakfast served and they began eating. Sokka was stuffing food in his mouth while the rest just watched in disgust.

Sokka looks up from his food, "What? Can a guy just eat in peace?"

Everyone laughed and began to eat.

Toph trying to start a conversation said, "Wow. Ya'll are awfully quiet today huh? Come on guys. What's-"

Suki interrupted, "Oh I know what we can talk about. Let's talk about the fact that Aang didn't sleep in his room last night." It's obvious she wanted to stir up some trouble.

Everyone gasped. Katara looked away and Aang blushed.

"Yeah, Aang. Would you mind telling us where you were?" Toph evilly grinned.

Aang stammered, "Uh-I-uh... meditating-"

Katara spoke up, "He was outside meditating by Appa."

"How do you know?" Suki asked.

"I checked up on him." Katara replied.

"All night?" Suki implied.

Sokka gasped, "No, you didn't! I swear to the spirits Aang if you slept in Katara's room I will-"

"Sokka! Fine, he did sleep in my room but no! We just slept." Katara yelled having enough with this.

"Still! You're too young for this!"

"Excuse me?! I am 14 almost 15 and Aang is 13-"

Zuko decided to step in. "Sokka, chill. First of all, it's none of your business-"

Sokka interrupted, "She is my sister, so it is my business! She shouldn't be doing any of that."

Zuko rolled his eyes, "Well, Sokka. You aren't exactly Mr. Goody-two-shoes either."

"Zuko, what do you mean?" Sokka asked nervously.

"Remember that night when I asked about your guys' mother and what happened to her. Well Suki was supposed to be in that tent before I interrupted. Oh and... while I was waiting out all night by Katara's tent, I found out that the tents aren't exactly sound-proof." Zuko smirked. The entire gaang laughed except for Suki and Sokka. Suki blushed but Sokka got furious!

"Zuko! You are giving Aang ideas!" Sokka immediately covered Aang's ears even though he already heard what Zuko had to say. Aang madly blushed while everyone laughed except for Sokka and Aang.

"What's so funny? This is a serious matter." Sokka groaned.

Suki giggled and grabbed Sokka's hands, "Sokka, you are so immature and silly sometimes. Have you forgotten that Aang was raised by monks?"

Sokka facepalmed himself and rolled his eyes. The rest of the group enjoyed their breakfast and time together for the next couple of days.
