To Avatar Aang and Fire Lord Zuko,

It has already been two weeks since the war has ended. Apart from the war, there are many other problems. In the upcoming series of meetings, we will discuss this matter. I hope you all attend. Until then.

Earth King Kuei

"So, when will these meeting start, uncle?" Zuko asked.

"Very soon. We will be receiving word when the time comes." Iroh said. "Oh, and before I forget, there has been another letter sent but this time, it is for Sokka and Katara."

The siblings looked interested as Iroh handed them the scoll. Katara grabbed it and opened it. She had no idea what this would be about, so she definitely wasn't expecting this:

Katara and Sokka,

Hi, my children. It is dad. I wanted to let you know personally that I, as the Head Chieftain of the Southern Water Tribe, have made you both representatives for the southern water tribe. I have to stay here at home helping with the rebuilding so I will not be able to attend these peace meetings. That is why I have made you both representatives. I trust you both to make the right decisions for us. Write back anytime.

Head Chieftain Hakoda

Sokka smiled, "Looks like I get to go! Haha!"

Katara rolled her eyes, "I do too, don't forget about that, Captain Boomerang." she said sarcastically.

The group said their goodbyes as they went to retire for the night. It was cool outside and the sky was starry but clear. It was beautiful night. Too bad they were getting tired.

Katara sat on her bed. She was thinking about many things. The upcoming peace meetings, how they just ended the war. Scratch that… she was thinking about Aang. She blushed when she thought of his name. 'Why am I feeling this? I've always had a hunch that I like Aang but now, he is all I think about. Is it a good or bad thing?' she thought. She decided to get out of bed and walk towards the corridor. She headed towards Aang's room.

"Here goes nothing." She whispered to herself. She opened the door and was surprised to see the bed empty. She looked around and no one was in the room. She had a confused look on her face. She left the room and went outside.

"Oh well, I'll just have to see him in the morning." Katara said with a sigh.

She sat on the rim of the balcony but then noticed a figure down by the gardens. It was Aang and he was meditating. She scoffed wondering how she didn't think about that sooner. 'He is always meditating' she thought. She stared down at him. Looking at him so peaceful, scanning his thoughts. She smiled, 'I wonder what he is thinking about.' She turned away from him and started walking back inside. Suddenly, she felt a hand on her shoulder.

Aang was tired. He felt like going to sleep. Peace meetings were coming soon and he figured that they would take away his sleep time. This was his time to sleep in. He heard a groan outside his window. 'Dammit! I forgot to feed Appa.' He thought to himself. He headed outside and jumped out his window and ran towards the stables as quietly as possible.

Appa welcomed him with a groan.

"I am so sorry, buddy. I got carried away with things. My head is scattered right now, I'm so tired." He told Appa as he was searching the boxes in the stable for food. He found some apples and handed them to Appa.

Appa groaned in excitement as he ate the apples out of his hand.

"Ok, I'll come back tomorrow. Good night, buddy." Aang said as he walked out towards the house. He spotted a tranquil spot in the garden. He could not stop staring it. He felt the urge to just sit there and start meditating. So, that is what he did.

A few minutes passed and he was still in deep meditation. Or, he was about to enter a deep meditation until he felt footsteps by the balcony. He recognized them. He smiled faintly making sure that his smile wouldn't be seen. 'Katara.' He thought. Using seismic senses, he noticed that she wasn't walking back inside. She was staring at him. Only at him. 'Wait, hold on a second. Does she not notice that I could feel her footsteps just like Toph does? Oh my god, she has no idea.' He let out a soft chuckle and then realized what he just did. 'Phew! She didn't notice.' He thought. Then, he felt her finally walking away. The thing is, he wanted her to stay. He quietly sneaked up on her and put a hand on her shoulder. She squealed and turned around.

"Aang, what? I thought you were meditating."

"I was... until I felt your footsteps… earth bending… Remember?"

Katara face palmed herself thinking that it was stupid that she didn't remember that.

"Hey, uh, what were you going to do out here anyways?" Aang asked.

Katara immediately blushed, "Oh right…that. I actually- um I- I came here to look for y-you."

"Me? Oh, I figured. Heh, so did you need to talk to me? He replied.

"Well, I just wanted to see you. I couldn't sleep so I guess I figured that I would come look for you."

Aang blushed and then let out a grin. "Uh-huh, so what did you expect me to do about that?"

Katara rolled her eyes and thought of what a big goof her boyfriend was. She said, "Here, I'll show you." Then, she leaned in and kissed him. Aang was actually not expecting it, surprisingly. He didn't mind the surprise kiss, obviously. He enjoyed it. The kiss immediately turned into a passionate one. They wouldn't let go of each other. Aang finally broke the kiss and stared into her eyes. Then, he started nibbling her ear making his way down her neck. Katara gasped at the feeling. She liked it. Aang then started kissing her lips again.

Katara finally backed a way for a second just to breathe. "Oh Aang. You're such a flirt. W-what was that for though?"

Aang looked at her, "I actually don't know. I'm sorry if-" Katara then put her finger up to his lips to make him stop talking.

"No no. I liked it." she said with a big grin on her face. Aang blushed.

"Should we go to bed now then?" Aang asked.

"Yeah I guess so." Katara replied as she was about to walk to her room. Then, an idea occurred to her. She turned around and sat on Aang's bed.

Aang looked surprised. He looked at her with a confused look and watched her as she took off her shoes and laid in bed.

"Come on, let's sleep." Katara said with a soothing voice.

Aang smiled and laid next to her. He began stroking her hair with his fingers.

"Why do you like my hair so much Aang?"

"Because it gorgeous but not even half as much as you."

Katara blushed at the compliment. Round 2 began. They began kissing. This time, though, it was more intimate since they were both laying in bed. Aang started kissing her neck. Katara let out a soft moan of pleasure. Aang smiled at the fact that he did that to her. He was quite proud of himself. Katara then straddled him. She began to kiss his lips as their tongues danced with each other. Aang wrapped his arms around her and started rubbing her back almost touching her butt. He stopped and realized what he was doing. He then left out a soft sigh and slowly pushed Katara off of him.

"Aang, what's wrong?" Katara asked. She was confused… they were passionately kissing one second and now Aang seemed sad.

"Look, Katara. I love you, so much. But, we can't do those things yet. W-what if Sokka came in? We're also too young, don't you think?" he finally said. Katara looked at him, there was no disappointment in her eyes. Just compassion.

"First of all, it's none of Sokka's business. But, yes I agree. We are too young. I can sense that you're uncomfortable. Don't be… I'm just Katara. Also, don't forget that I love you too, Aang. So much." Aang smiled. He thought that she would be upset and angry. He smiled and brought her into a warm embrace.

This is how the couple fell asleep. One cool starry night, one couple in bed, cuddling in their sleep. How much more loving can this get?
