Baron was out in the backyard, waiting. He looked up into the windows above him to see what everyone was doing. There he can see the silhouettes of everyone doing their own thing.
Lance was playing his guitar in a sulky manner. Ilana was twirling around in her room to the music coming from her stereo. Octus wasn't home, so his room wasn't lit up.
Another window was also not filled with light. Because it was Stella's. She opened her window and jumped out into the cool night, wearing a big robe. She landed gracefully in front of Baron and stood up with a sigh. As soon as she was up she pointed at the window, a dash of sparkles flew up to quietly close the window. She looked at baron. "Ready?"
He was smiled and took his arm out for her to grab onto.
"Let's go, your highness."
She held his arm and they started walking away from the house.
"May I ask why you're wearing that ridiculous outfit?" He questioned
She giggled. " I don't want to show my real outfit till I get there." She replied
They walked a few more feet till she stopped dead in her tracks. Baron looked at her confused.
"Is something wrong ?"
"No, we're just taking a faster route. Hold still." With that, she waved her hands to form a ring under them and it sucked them into a portal. Baron started screaming at them free falling into the magic. Stella giggled some more before finally letting them out to the doors of the club. Barons screamed died off very quickly and turned into a groan, as he landed on his back instead of on his feet like Stella.
"You could've warned me before doing that !" He yelled
"What? You think I'm gonna walk across town to this? As if." She flipped her hair at him and walked towards the building. Baron reluctantly got up and followed, cursing and grumbling under his breath. He stopped at the line that surrounded the building, but notice Stella wasn't around him. He looked at the front to see her talking to the bouncer at the door. The guy smiled and let her in first. She waved at baron and he caught up with her to walk in.
The place was fancy. Gold silky seats that hugged the walls, black and gold curtains and streamers on the ceiling. Fountains of water were spewing out every corner of the room. The dance floor was filled with white lights that shined a little too bright.
"It's beautiful!" Stella gasped.
"It sure is", Baron said, not even looking at the room. He was looking at her.
"There's Kimmy !" She pointed at the redhead and ran over to her. She gave her a hug and realized Octus wasn't with her .
"Where's Newton ?"
"He didn't feel like coming, so he went home. Total nerd." Kimmy laughed and Stella as well.
Baron quickly grabbed her arm and pulled her a little too fast.
"If he's going home, he's gonna see we're not there." He whispered
"Don't worry I already cast a spell for it to look like we're at home. The illusions have a small light orb inside so if he monitors us , it'll still show a heat source." She replied. Baron sighed of relief and let her go.
"Did you really think i wouldn't think this through ?" She asked as she walked away with Kimmy. He watched her all dumbfounded that he doubted her abilities.
"Why are you here with baron? What about the whole Lance thing ? " Kimmy asked
"Him and Ilana didn't want me to be here cause of the location. So me and baron snuck out. That's it." Stella replied
"Really? You can easily defend yourself. They're crazy."
"I'll say." Stella was gonna say more, but work from home by fifth harmony started playing. She looked at Kimmy and they both squealed, running over to the dance floor and meeting up with the other girls.
"Ready girls ?" Stella asked
"Yeah!" Kimmy and rest of their friends replied
With that Stella threw up her robe and revealed her outfit. It was a black halter top laced with gold on the strap, a tight black pencil skirt with a gold trim along the ends, and gold high heeled shoes. Her hair flowed everywhere from the robe getting in the way so the whole transition made her look so elegant yet mysterious.
"Marry me." Thought baron. His jaw dropped and eyes locked on the blonde beauty, all he could think about is that ray of sunshine in his life will soon be his and his alone.
Stella was killing it on the dance floor, swaying her hips to the beat and doing the occasional hair flip. All the excitement from the dance was causing her body to light up. Her hair was floating and glowing brighter than everything else. Everyone was in shock and awe, but moved away just Incase something went down. Stella stomped her foot and flipped her hair once again and the light just went everywhere off her body, causing the lights in the building to absorb all the extra energy. Everyone awed and applauded the Fairy. She giggled and bowed for the crowd.
Finally she walked towards Baron, who was leaning against the wall, watching her the whole time.
"Are you gonna be a wallflower all night ?" She asked
"I'm here to protect you. Not have fun. Go one and dance some more." He replied
With that, Despicito came on the speakers. Every girl was screaming and grabbing the closest guy to dance with them to the Spanish masterpiece.
Stella turned to baron. "Oh come on! You might as well have fun too!" She grabbed his arm and dragged him to the dance floor, to his surprise.
"But Stella I-" he protested
"Shhh! " she put her finger on his lips. "Let's dance." She whispered. She put his hand on her waist and held his other hand. He looked at her in shock. She's actually letting him touch her!
He smiled at her and brought her over to the dance floor. He twirled her all around, bringing her close before lifting her up in the air and swinging her on both sides around his hips. They tangoed their way all over the floor, impressing all the bystanders that surrounded them. By the end of the song, baron had finished the dance with bringing Stella into a dip and raised his other hand up. The crowd applauded the two and went back to dancing to another song.
Baron brought Stella up gently. She smiled and laughed at him.
"You're a natural, Baron!"
"Thank you...Stella" he replied.
"Come on. Let's dance some more." Stella said.
Baron smiled at her, grabbed her hand and went back to it. They didn't keep track of time. The hours seemed to melt altogether as they were out dancing and talking to Kimmy and the rest. It wasn't till baron just happen to look at his watch that made him jolt in surprise.
1:55 AM
He looked up in search of Stella. She was across the room in a sea of people. He sprinted over, not caring if he bumped into other people along the way. Finally he made it to her and grabbed her arm back, to her surprise. He showed her the time, and quickly they ran out of the club and down the street. She opened a portal below them and in an instant, they were in the backyard. Stella was about to jump onto the roof when baron stopped her.
"I had fun tonight with you. " he whispered
Stella relaxed and smiled at him. "You know what ? Me too, Baron." With that she watched him run into the house undetected, while she jumped onto the roof where her window was at. She quietly opened the window and climbed into her room. She turned around and gasped.
There was lance. Sitting on her bed. The hologram was gone. The clock in her room said 2:00 AM. He woke up and found out she was gone. He knew.
" We need to talk." He growled
