Shinji brought Sakura and Midori to the lakeside ruins on the outskirts of Village 3.

"Hey," said Midori, "isn't this where NERV used to be?"

"Why did you bring us here, Ikari-san?" said Sakura.

Shinji stood staring at the lake. "When I first came to the village, I was devastated by what had happened I didn't want to do anything or be with anyone anymore. I came upon this place and spent my time here alone. The only person who ever came here to see me was Ayanami. The other Ayanami who took me from WILLE. This is the place where I last saw her. This is where she died."

The girls gasped.

"Before she did, she learned about things she'd never heard of or experienced before. She met people who didn't care who she was or where she came from. Only that she was there, and they were kind to her. She was going to become her own person. She was happy. The last thing she said to me was that she loved me. After that, I decided to return to WILLE and face my father."

Shinji turned to the girls. "I want to change my outlook on life and become a better person. Not just for my sake. But for Ayanami as well. To live the long life she didn't get the chance to. If you really want me to help you, then I want to do it here. Where everything began. Where I found resolve to keep moving forward."

"Ikari-san…" said Sakura.

"Ikari…" said Midori.

Shinji placed his hands on the girls' shoulders. They did not rebuff him. He looked at Sakura first. She still looked nervous but was not afraid. With her mind made up, she leaned her face forward and kissed him. It was gentle. Calm. Assuring. After a few seconds, their lips parted. Sakura looked amazed by the feeling of experiencing her first kiss.

Shinji then looked at Midori. Even though she didn't look hesitant, she still couldn't believe she was going to do this. She sighed and proceeded with kissing Shinji. In her mind, all she could think about was how much she resented him. Even after everything that happened, she still considered him a jinx. She didn't know anything about him except that he'd brought about the Near Third Impact. She wished she'd stayed behind instead of coming to see him. But Sakura insisted that she accompany her, claiming it was important that they get some things off their chests. She didn't care about his problems or worries. She wanted nothing to do with him. And yet, here she was.

They stopped kissing. Midori darted her eyes away from Shinji and mumbled, "…good."

"What was that?" said Shinji.

Midori blushed. "It felt good."

"So you liked it then?"

"Yeah."

Sakura smiled. "See? It's nice to be honest with your feelings, Midori-chan."

Midori groaned.

Shinji giggled. "You two must be really close."

"We've been roommates at WILLE for the past several years," said Sakura. "We often share things with each other."

"And you're both willing to share me?"

"It's no big deal," said Midori.

"Good. 'Cause honestly, I don't have any experience whatsoever."

"Don't worry," said Sakura. "We'll learn as we go along."

"Okay. Well, I'd like to proceed with kissing you both."

"Hmmph," said Midori. "You would say that. Being with two girls and all."

Sakura giggled.

"Shall we continue then?" said Shinji.

"Yes," said Sakura.

"Whatever," said Midori.

The three of them engaged in a triple makeout session. They held each other close, arms wrapped around one another, as their lips mushed together. Their tongues wrestled with each other as various moans emitted from their mouths. After several minutes, they stopped so they could breath.

"Wow! That was amazing!" said Sakura.

"I know, right?!" said Midori.

"I'm glad you both enjoyed it as much as I did," said Shinji.

The girls then noticed Shinji's pants were bulging.

"Ikari-san," said Sakura, "you're excited already?"

"Jeez. And just from kissing? You're hopeless," said Midori.

"What can I say?" said Shinji. "I'm living out a dream come true."

Sakura giggled. "Well then, shall we help you relieve yourself?"
