Morning Mischief

[Mal and Evie's home. 7:00 am]

Evie's POV

I got out of bed and stretched before walking over to the bedroom window to look out at the gorgeous view. What a beautiful morning to wake up to. But you know what else is beautiful and gorgeous? Mal. Obviously. She is no longer my girlfriend. She is now my fiance. And no one else could be better than her to have that title.

I turned and looked at the sleeping blonde. I smiled warmly at her as the memory of us having sex last night played in my mind. Afterwards, I put on some light clothes: underwear, black soft short shorts, and a gray t-shirt with the words "good vibes" written in black. I quietly used the bathroom then left the bedroom and headed to the stairs. As I was walking down the stairs, I heard the tv was on.

"Spongebob! You're fifteen minutes late!"

"Sorry, Mr. Krabs. I was out all night looking for Gary. You see, he ran away..."

And I should have guessed the boys would be the ones to turn it on. But that's okay.

"Good morning, boys." I said as I walked into the living room.

"Morning, Evie." Jay said.

"Good morning, Evie." Carlos said as he turned down the tv volume.

"Jane and Lonnie still asleep?" I asked.

"Yeah, we didn't want to disturb them." Jay replied.

"You both are true gentlemen for doing that." I said.

The boys, still dressed in their sleep attire, followed me into the kitchen. As I started to make some coffee, I felt someone hug me from behind. It was Carlos.

"Hi, sweetie." I said.

"Hi, Evie. I'm so glad to see you again."

"Me too. I'm glad to see all of you. It's been way too long."

Jay joined in on the hug, and it felt so nice to hug my brothers again. After the hug, the boys sat at the table while Mal walked in wearing her nightdress.

"Good morning, Mal." the boys greeted.

"Good morning, guys." Mal said.

She gave them a hug before looking at me.

"Good morning, my beautiful wife."

"M, we're not married yet." I said.

"No, but you're going to be my wife."

"Yes, Mal, I will."

"So, you two will one day be married. Evie will be the wife, so does that mean Mal will be the husband in the relationship?" Jay asked.

Mal had a questionable look on her face as I scratched an itch by my nose.

"I don't think that's going to apply in our relationship. We're both going to be each other's wives." I replied.

"Yeah, Jay. What kind of question was that?" Carlos asked.

"Well I don't know how lesbian marriages work." Jay said.

"Lesbian?" I asked while folding my arms.

"Well. That's not what I meant. Well you are, but I didn't mean to call you that. I was just using that term as well...I guess I could've said gay marriages but-"

"Jay, relax! I was just messing with you." I said.

"Yeah, chillax." Mal said.

"Mal and I are indeed lesbians, and we're proud of it." I said.

Jay smiled and nodded. It was then when Jane and Lonnie walked into the kitchen.

"Morning." Jane said.

"Morning, Jane! Morning, Lonnie!" I said.

"Good morning." Mal said.

The two girls kissed their boyfriends and then hugged me and Mal.

"I'm hungry." Jane said.

"I am too. I'll get breakfast started." I said.

As I began making eggs and bacon, Mal and the others sat at the dining table.

"So what is it about Vancouver that makes you fall in love with it?" Jane asked.

"Oh, a lot!" Mal replied.

"Like?"

"The scenery. It is absolutely gorgeous here. The mountains, the water, especially the water views. I'm not sure how to describe it, but I just love it here." Mal said.

"Your dream." Carlos said.

"Yeah."

Not too long after, I finished making breakfast and served it to them. It was so nice to eat breakfast together again. I missed it so much and I know Mal did too. We all did really.

Mal's POV

After eating, we helped Evie with the dishes.

"So what are we going to do today?" Lonnie asked.

That's a good question.

"Yeah, what are we going to do today, E?" I asked.

Evie didn't know either. She looked around the room until she spotted her laptop sitting on the coffee table. She went to grab it and returned back to us.

"Mal and I have only been here for two months, so we don't know everything around here." Evie said.

"Of course not." Carlos said.

"That's right. You two left in August, shortly after the school year began, but only two months? It feels a lot longer than that." Jay said.

"Right?" I asked.

I gave him a hug from the side.

"Oh, okay." Evie said.

"What's up, E?" I asked.

"I'm on this website that shows different things to do in Vancouver. There are a lot of nature parks." Evie said.

"One thing we should all do is go whale watching again." I said.

"Oh yes, definitely! But I was thinking since it's going to be a gorgeous day, we should go to a park." Evie said.

"What kind of park?" Carlos asked.

Evie showed us her computer screen. On it was a website about a park west of Vancouver. It showed beautiful trees, cliffs, and water views.

"That looks pretty." Lonnie said.

"We can go there and have a picnic." Evie said.

"That sounds nice." Jay said.

"Nice! Let's get ready!" Evie said.

"Alright!" Jay exclaimed.

We all headed to our rooms to begin getting dressed and ready. However as Evie took the first turn to use the bathroom, a devious thought came to my mind. A while ago, I bought a realistic looking toy cockroach at a store. I grabbed it from a drawer in my dresser and looked at it in my hand.

"Is this really the time to do this?" I asked myself.

I looked towards the bathroom and saw Evie undressed and applying her makeup. I then smiled.

"Yes it is."

I hid it around my breasts in the inside of my nightdress as Evie walked out of the bathroom to the closet, but stopped and looked at me.

"You good, M?" she asked.

"Yeah. Just admiring your body." I replied.

Evie winked at me and opened the closet door to look at her selection of clothes. As she was deciding what to wear, I quickly, but quietly, walked past her and into the bathroom. She hasn't done her hair yet, so I lifted up her hair iron, placed the toy roach on the counter, then carefully placed the hair iron over it in the perfect position to where the roach was hidden. I then tiptoed back to the bed and sat on it just as Evie walked to her dresser to get a bra. I watched her as she got dressed. When she finished, she wore black pants, a blue sweatshirt, and her blue Isle jacket over it.

"You should wear your Isle jacket too, Mal." she said.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah! But you don't have too, of course. Just saying."

I smiled at Evie.

"That's okay. I'll wear it." I said.

"Really? Yay!" Evie exclaimed.

She gave me a kiss and headed into the bathroom. I waited to get dressed because I knew it was just a matter of seconds before I would hear a scream. And I did. Once I did, I started laughing quietly, but knew I must rush over to Evie.

"Okay. Solemn face. Solemn face." I told myself.

I controlled myself and ran over to her.

"What's wrong, Evie?" I asked before arriving at the bathroom.

When I got there, I saw Evie keeping her distance from the vanity by standing near the shower. She was freaked out for sure.

"M! There's a-a roach!"

I walked over to her and tried to give her a hug to comfort her, but Evie turned me around to face it.

"Please do something, Mal!"

I smiled and calmly walked over to the countertop, quickly grabbed the toy roach, then quickly turned and threw it right at Evie. And she screamed so loud, I thought the others would come running up. I probably shouldn't have done that, because she ran out into the bedroom.

"Evie. Evie, it's okay. It's not real." I said.

I figured it was time to tell her. I went over to her and held her in my arms. Evie was breathing fast. I gave her many kisses on the lips and her cheek.

"What do you mean it's not real?" Evie asked.

"It's just a toy. I bought at a store not too long ago." I said.

"What?"

Evie wasn't getting what I was saying. So I took her hand and led her to the bathroom to where the toy roach was laying on the floor. Once Evie really looked at it, she could tell it wasn't real. She calmed herself and afterwards, she looked at me.

"Mal...why?"

I shrugged and smiled. Evie scoffed, but smiled as well.

"You're really something, you know that?" she asked.

"I do." I replied happily.

Evie opened her arms for a hug. I happily accepted the invite and we cuddled for a moment. Evie then kissed me on my neck and made my nightdress fall off me to the floor.

"Yeah?" I asked as I stood naked in front of her.

"Go start getting ready."

"Yes, my love."

"And I'll find a way to pay you back for that." Evie muttered quietly, but I heard it.

I love my future wife so much.
