Waking up to see a blue box in front of his face, Dante just stares at it for a few seconds until it hits him and he remembers everything that happened before he woke up.
Dante shoots out of the bed panicked before [Gamers Mind] kicks in and calms him. His previous haggard state of mind is replaced by a cool calmness, like a cold breeze as he stretches his body.
He takes a look around the room he's in, it looks like a typical suite hotel room, complete with marble floors, expensive decor, a TV and walk-in closet that connects to a bathroom presumably.
The bed was also comfortable with soft fluffy white pillows and clean white bed sheets.
As he's exploring the room he realises that he must be in a luxury hotel somewhere, the background given to him by the game mentioned his esteemed father chucked him in a hotel until he was "needed," whatever the hell that meant.
Before he could ponder on it any further a notification comes up and he remembers he needs to check out the system. "Game?" He calls out and a screen comes to life before him.

Dante then moves down to see [Store] locked and wonders why, so naturally he asks the system. "Hey Game, why is the [Store] locked?"
You need to be at least LVL 100 to unlock this system feature.
"Okay then, what about [World Jump]?"
You need to complete a certain amount of the main story line of this world before you'll be allowed to goto other worlds.
Dante sighs, "I guess that's fair, would you mind explaining to me what the [Store] sells?" He asks curiously.
The [Store] allows you to buy items, abilities, powers and anything else you can think of from all over the multiverse. Abilities native to your current world will cost significantly less then abilities from another world or universe. The currency used in the [Store] are credits, you can earn credits by completing quests, loot drops and Gachas. Currently you have none and you will be unable to see them at all until you reach LVL 100, though rest assured all accumulated credits you earn prior to reaching LVL 100 will be added to your wallet.
'That's gonna be really fucking useful, grabbing a pair of those totally hax eyes from the Naruto universe is gonna be huge help in surviving in this crazy world. The anime may have been about a moron powering up by poking girls in their nipples but I have no doubt this world is gonna be different and I'm not gonna have the bullshit plot armour that Issei had, the same probably goes for the PJO side of things, so I have to exploit anything and everything I can.'

Dante then closes [Quests] and skims [Traits] since he chose them himself not too long ago, then shuts the window, a few seconds later a system notification appears.

Seeing himself level up was quite euphoric for Dante, even though he was still just a measly LVL 2, given enough time he knew that he could reach the top of this world, and that's exactly the goal he had set for himself, he knew only the strong are truly free in a world like this and he intended to be the strongest.
Of course that doesn't mean he wasn't going to enjoy himself, he was going to focus on getting stronger but he'll also pursue other interests. Like say, exploring magic, bending reality to his whims was intoxicating to him and the thought of being able to utilize and explore magic made him giddy or getting a sexy harem, he was in DxD for crying out loud, it would be sacrilege if he didn't and Dante had no intention of blaspheming the ero gods in such a manner.
Go hard or go home, as the saying goes.
He is by no means a good guy; he merely wants power and freedom, the ability to do whatever tickles his fancy whenever and however he wants. To indulge in his wants and desires to the fullest, that was what he wanted above all else and being strong was pretty much a requirement for that, and wasn't that the ultimate desire for every Gamer?
He supposed it was time he stopped monologuing and opened that starter pack, he didn't have any magical capabilities right now because the Game decided that throwing him into a death trap world with his abilities locked was a good idea.
So he was hoping for a weapon of some sort, he had a bad feeling coming from this hotels name and he needed some way to defend himself.
Summoning the starter box from his inventory and inspecting it for a second, he noticed that it was small fitting snugly into the palm of his hand with glowing purple runes of some sort etched onto it, they seemed to almost writhe and stretch around the inky black colour of the box.

Dante stared at all the abilities he had gained from discovering his godly parent in shock, 'By Aphrodites glorious tits, children of Hades are fucking STACKED! Fuck Poseidon, fuck Zeus, Hades has to be the strongest of the Big 3.'
Just imagining all the things he could do with these abilities was making him feel positively giddy. And the crazy thing was this was just with 3 of his Unique skills unlocked, he had absolutely no idea what his other inherited skills could be so he would have to do research on Hades later on to see if he could piece anything together but just these three skills would be very powerful once levelled and this was just one half of his heritage he had no idea who or what his mother was, so he had no idea what he would get from her.
The path to power was looking significantly less arduous with his powerful heritage granting him these powers, though he had no doubt that the reason he unlocked and had the potential to unlock all of these powers from Hades was due to the Game.
Demigods usually don't inherit abilities from all of their godly parents domains from what he remembered, Percy excluded of course but that kid was just a monster all around and considering the shit he got himself into on a regular basis he kinda needed them.
More often than not demigods inherit powers from certain domains over others, he remembered Hazel having more control over metals then the dead due to her inheriting more of Pluto's domain over riches and vice-versa for her brother.
But due to the game and him clearly being able to see 8 skills from his father, he concluded he likely had all of his fathers domains powers and he would likely have both his brother and sisters capabilities, while his knowledge of those books was fairly hazy he remembered the gist of it and had decent info on the characters in them.

He then takes a quick peek at his new status.

"Are those what I think they are?" Dante says as a slightly malicious smile started spreading across his face, he sat down on the edge of the bed and took out one of the explosive tags and used [Observe] on it.

"Awesome! So this is the one from Naruto then. Using this is going to be fucking metal." He then looks around.
"I should probably get out of here. I've wasted enough time." As he's about to leave the room he passes by a mirror, "The fuck game why am I midget?!" His face, while still very good looking, was more on the cute side than handsome and he was around 5'3 rather than the 6'2 he had chosen.

"Bloody hell, at least I'm still good looking, and fairly tall for my age, whatever." This meant that he was probably around the Lightning Thief or Sea of Monsters timeline right now. As he was about to exit the room a pop up appeared.

He then realises that leaving this hotel might not be as easy as it seems judging by the random quest, he immediately presses accept.
Doing a quick scan of his surroundings, and seeing no windows for him to jump out off, Dante cautiously starts to walk down the hallway he's in, focusing on everything around him as best as he can.
While many may call him overly paranoid or overly cautious, this was his first day alive with barely any memory of his past life and he's not trying to get back to that damnable eternal darkness.
Slowly walking down the hallways as if expecting something to pop out and try to kill him, Dante keeps himself prepared to bolt at the first sign of danger, [Gamers Mind] may keep him calm but he wasn't stupid, he knew he was weak and didn't want to risk his new life when it had only just started.
Dante then turns a corner to see an elevator, quickly walking over to it he hesitantly presses the button that calls the lift to his floor and patiently waits until the elevator finally opens up then walks inside and looks at the buttons with the number of floors labelled on them, seeing that he's on the 7th floor, he presses the button to the ground floor.
He mentally thanks [Gamers Mind] for keeping him so calm and decides it's a good idea to open his inventory just in case he needs to use his new sword or the explosive tags.
When the elevator stops he gets ready, his golden eyes practically glowing with anticipation and as the door opens he sees a big room filled with… arcade games?
Dante stands there slightly baffled as he walks into what could only be described as a big arcade full of people playing games and a big bar on the corner serving drinks. He decides to play it safe and uses [Observe] on a random person playing some old arcade game.

Dante walks around a bit before spotting the large exit, as he's making his way there he feels like an idiot for assuming that leaving this hotel or casino or whatever it is was going to be that easy.
Case in point being the dude staring at him near the entrance.
Just as he's about to use [Observe] he's stopped by a man with brown hair and hazel nut eyes dressed in a fancy tuxedo with his hand raised and a friendly small on his face.
"Sorry sir you cannot leave at this time why don't you take a seat and order some drinks?"
I look at him strangely and say, "No thanks, why can't I leave now?" As soon as he says that another male with short black hair comes up and serves him a plate with some sort of flower on it.
The man infront of me says, "Leaving the casino is currently prohibited sir, we apologise for the wait so why not try one of our delicacies." He says excitedly, obviously trying to get him to stay for some reason and avoiding his questions. Dante then picks up the fruit and uses [Observe] on it.

When eaten it puts the consumer under a hypnotic curse that distorts perception of time and makes them addicted to the casinos facilities.
'These sneaky fuckers, no wonder everyone around me looks like they're perma-drugged, and the time thing explains the outdated clothes some of them are wearing.'
If he didn't have [Gamers Mind] he was sure he would have run like a man with his dick on fire but he stayed calm and figured kindly declining and pushing past the man was the way to go.
"Yea… no thanks, I'm just going to leave thanks though," he says and starts walking past the man and as he does he feels an ironclad grip on his shoulder, panicking slightly he whips his head around and uses [Observe.]

"Yep on it," Dante says as he does a 180 and walks back to the arcade, he starts to try and come up with a plan to get out of this admittedly awesome but dangerous hotel.
As Dantes looks around hoping to find another exit, he thinks about what he should do about his siblings that are most likely running around somewhere here in a trance, he could break them out but that'll probably create more problems than it's worth.
Besides lugging around two in-experienced Big 3 demigod monster magnets when he was so weak was just a recipe for disaster.
More than likely he'll be getting into a few fights before he leaves, and while Dante had no emotional attachment to the two, he wasn't heartless enough to risk kids getting killed because he was arrogant in his measly abilities.
No, it was better to just leave them here until Hades decides to break them out, they'll be much safer at the moment in the Gods hands than his and Dante was in no mood to be a babysitter to two whiny kids.
Besides it was quite likely that after his escape and the chaos that he would inevitably cause that his pops was gonna relocate them anyways, maybe put them in that military school earlier than anticipated or hell maybe even train them up in the underworld.
Dante pushes that to the back of his mind when he notices a staff only door, getting out of the front would be too dangerous at the moment and finding some other backdoor exit would be his best chance at leaving this hotel.
He didn't wanna piss off these guys and get swarmed by the dozens in the open by those lotophage fucks and whatever else might be in this casino.
'It's more than likely there'll lotus eaters back there but there's likely less in there than out here, plus that door likely leads to corridors and fighting them in an enclosed space would be to my benefit since they won't be able to take advantage of their numbers and I also have some new skills thanks to daddy dearest, [Shadow Cloak] should help me avoid as much trouble as I can as well,' he thinks with a grin as a plan starts to form in his mind, he opens his [Inventory] and glances at his new sword and then looks at his new skills.

'I can only use my shadow cloak for 80 seconds with my full MP but with my regen per minute I can go for around 96 seconds though that will leave me powerless magically and I haven't used this sword yet so my best bet is to channel my inner Ezio and assassinate these fuckers, while conserving my mp."
Keeping his inventory open and ready to pull out his sword at a moment's notice seemed like a wise course of action since he knew that at its current level [Shadow cloak] wouldn't conceal him from view completely.
Walking calmly towards the door of the staff only room he decides to wait a few minutes in case any lotus eaters come out of the door, when it became clear that no one was going to be coming through at this time, he activates the skill and immediately all the shadows near him seem to darken and stretch to envelop him in their embrace.
The sensation of being cloaked in shadows was odd at first, but Dante shook it off and walks in while keeping to the walls and darker area's to maximise the effectiveness of the skill.
Walking carefully through the corridor he takes multiple lefts and rights trusting his instincts to lead him and checks any rooms he comes across for any lotus eaters, after a bit of a walk he hears someone speaking and takes out his sword and readies himself for any confrontation while also checking his mp.

Pausing at the next turn, he peeks over the side to see two people in uniform conversing rather heatedly, staying quiet and letting his skill keep him concealed, he listens in. "The boy seems to have regained control of himself somehow, Agnar caught him trying to leave at the main entrance some time ago but has since lost sight of him," the female lotus eater says. "Lord Hades will be very displeased in the event the boy escapes before he sends his servants for him," the man says with a scowl on his face.
"We need to get the brat back under our control and soon, the Lord of the Dead cutting of our funding is the least of our concerns if we lose his child."
So his Divine pops didn't want him leaving right now did he? Too bad for him Dante wasn't in the mood to play the good little pawn for him, considering his de-aging its likely that the big scary prophecy is still in effect and Hades probably didn't want him revealed too soon just in case Lord Thunder Thighs gets trigger happy and blasts him to bits.
Though he seriously doubted that's all it was, Gods didn't do things if it did not benefit them, at least from what he remembered from the books, even Nico was a pawn in his eyes, a means to control the prophecy and get himself crowned as the God King or at least it was until Percy smacked some sense into him and the other gods.
Dante having enough of listening to the two soon to be dead monsters prattle on and on, comes out of the corner while sticking to the walls and sneaks close to the male monster and stabs him in the throat from the back.
Immediately the lotus eater turns to dust and just as he goes to swing his sword at the other one, he feels a punch hit him on his chest through the still falling dust and uses the momentum to roll on his back and stand up.

Ignoring the notification, he looks up to see a female lotus eater scowling, as it rushes him, he uses his sword to deflect the sharp set of claws sprouting from her fingernails going straight for his throat and for the first time ever uses [Ray of Death] on her.
Caught by surprise the female lotus eater tries to dodge only to get hit on the chest, immediately screaming in pain, she vomits black blood and then like her friend turns to golden dust.

Taking a second to breathe, he hears other voices rushing down the hall obviously from the pained scream he stupidly didn't try to stop. Realising his situation was going from bad to worse he checks his mp to see where he stands.

Using [Shadow Cloak] and running in the opposite direction he hears the voices from, he runs sticking to the wall as an alarm all of a sudden goes off and as he starts to panic a little,
he sees what looks to be a grey steel door with chains wrapped around it, running down the corridor and coming to a stop in front of the door he equips his [Celestial Bronze Sword.]
Slashing the blade on the chains he wasn't surprised when the celestial bronze cut through the mortal steel like a hot knife through butter, trying the same with door itself didn't seem to work, which led him to believe that the door was likely reinforced in some way either with Divine metal itself or enchantments despite its plain appearance.
Deactivating [Shadow Cloak] he tries to ram the door open with his shoulder with it refusing to budge, he didn't fancy himself a quitter so he gave it a few more tries before he heard footsteps rapidly closing in on him and gave up and started preparing himself as much as he could for duking it out with the flower suckling cunts coming for him.
Checking his mp he saw that he was in a better state than he was before he tried to show the door who's boss.

As he hears the monsters closing in he remembers that a sword and money wasn't all he got from the Game, and pulls out the [Explosive Tags.]

Weighing the pros and cons of using them he decides that most if not all of them had likely already taken notice of his disappearance and the banshee from before hollering her lungs out had already alerted them to his position so he figured he might as well cause as much chaos as he can to help him escape.
He puts one [Explosive Tag] on the door and backs away and concentrates on the tag preparing himself for the explosion he shuts his eyes and…. Nothing happens. 'Are these fucking things a gag? Are you trolling me Game?'
Look at the description again you fool.
Looking at the description and focusing on the explosive tag, he thinks, 'explode?' it immediately sizzles then lights up and explodes, sending him flying into the wall. "Moderate explosion my ass," he groans and forces himself to his feet, and looks up to see the door blown off its hinges along with a decent chunk of the wall.
The door was reinforced but the stupid monsters didn't reinforce the wall surounding it, getting off the ground, he hears shouting and looks to his left along the corridor to see 3 lotus eaters charging at him through the narrow white dirty hallway, all of them had pistols in there hand.
Immediately getting up and hearing multiple sounds of gunshots, Dante feels a sharp painful entry in his right arm, ignoring it he bolts to the door wincing in pain as he does so,
"Damn it," he mutters weakly, quickly making his way out of the door and into some sort of back street alleyway.
Moving to the right side of the door and grabbing his [Celestial Bronze Sword] firmly in his left hand, he prepares himself to ambush the persistent bastards.
He hears shouts and a head pops out just in time to see a blade come down and slice through its neck like butter, the lotus eater turns to dust.
Before the next female lotus eater can act he launches [Earth Spike] at her as she watches in horror as a foot long spike made out of dirty stones impales her through the chest she falls over slowly bleeding out that disgusting black blood they seem to produce.
Just as Dante goes to charge the next male lotus eater he feels a bullet go through his leg and his stomach and backtracks diving as he does so.
He checks his wounds and sees blood covering his once pristine white shirt, though he wasn't too worried since the wounds already seemed to be healing, he mentally thanked whatever being had given him this system because if it wasn't for his 80 HP regen per min saving his ass, he'd likely be much worse off.

Seeing the lotus eater come out cautiously, he goes to get up only for the male lotus eater to turn around instantly and let loose a hail of bullets at him, he was obviously expecting a sneak attack, which wasn't too surprising, since while they are monsters, they do have intelligence. Hiding behind the green trash can and ignoring the foul smell of rotten food, he focused on what to do with his opponent.
"Come out little demigod, you have killed many of my brothers and sisters, your father asked us to protect you and this is how you repay us!" He growled out menacingly, "you will pay for making us go to all this trouble especially when the boss gets here!" He says with a cold laugh with no mirth in it that sends a slight shiver down Dante's spine.
Getting a hold of himself, he comes up with an idea while the crazy monster in front of him cackles like an evil witch. Closing his eyes he focuses on the shadows around him.
Dante suddenly feels something below him which gives off a strange feeling that he could only liken to weightless water of some sort, assuming it was his own shadow, he notices that he can somehow feel all the shadows around him, he could even feel the lotus eaters shadow and in a trance like state he commands the darkness to impale him.
Immediately he's snapped back to reality as he hears the lotus eater scream and curse in Ancient Greek, getting up from behind the trash can and looking at the sight of an impaled lotus eater looking at his stomach in shock, Dante grins.
The lotus eater having seen him get up from behind the trash can clocks in to the vicious grin that was splitting the demigods visage and speaks, "damn you bastard, the boss is coming and he will rip your spine out you little shit," he snarls and then gasps weakly as he finally fades into golden dust.

Dante quickly brought out his status sheet excited at all the levels he was seeing, of course he knew it wasn't much but that doesn't mean he couldn't get excited by his progress.
He quickly glances down at his extra stat points.
"Nice I've got an extra 20 stat points," Dante says happily, he's starting to get somewhere finally and hasn't died yet! As Dante is in the midst of reviewing his new status and quest rewards, a pop up appears that makes his heart drop.

As he stands there looking at the text box perplexed, the next second he feels a massive fist connect with his face and he felt like a truck slammed into his head, the next second he was airborne and nearly instantly after, slams into a car rolling it over in the process.
1 END for surviving a fatal hit
Dante lies there bleeding from his head, limp and dazed until he snaps back to reality.
Quickly getting up, Dante stumbles to his feet and sees his attacker for the first time, only to blanch at the mountain of pure strength and muscle that is this monster, immediately putting him on edge.
'This is a shit way to start my new life,' Dante thinks exasperated at his first day in his new life which involved being shot and chased by human looking monsters and finding out his dad is the God of the Dead and in Dante's personal opinion the unofficial God of edginess. 'All this shit is too much for my first day.'
Standing there with a scowl is a man who used way too many steroids because his arms looked more like tree trunks than even a super jacked dude's arms.
Dante quickly uses [Observe] to decide how fucked he was out of a scale of 1-10.

Dante sighs, 'I've basically used up all my magic, the guys fucking ripped and won't have issues in overwhelming me in strength. Guess I'm going to have to rely on my speed and battle reflex's to take him down with my sword.'
Gripping his sword tightly he pumps himself up, 'I can do this, this guy's fodder in the grand scheme of things, I can't die,' he thinks to himself.
"I'm going to rip your head off little Demigod," the lotus boss says with a menacing smile, no doubt trying to scare Dante.
Unfortunately for him Dante has [Gamers Mind] so he can't feel as intimidated as he probably should be, which just left a kid that thoroughly enjoys pissing people off.
"As enjoyable as that sounds, I think I'm going to go with option 2 where I shove my sword up your ass," Dante says with a cheeky little smirk on his face.
"HOW DARE YOU INSULT YOUR BETTERS BOY!" The lotus eater boss' menacing smile was now gone, replaced with the snarling visage of a very pissed off monster.
"Let me know when you see any," Dante casually replies. While inwardly snarling at this lowly monster daring to insult him.
Instead of replying and continuing the round of pre-fight banter, the Lotus boss lets out a scream of rage and charges at Dante.
He swung, a mighty left haymaker aimed at Dante's skull, he barely managed to duck out of the way just in time for the skull crushing blow, to whistle over his head.
The lotus boss' swing was so powerful that it forced him off balance, the monster likely thought he would get him with one mighty blow to the head which would've blown apart a normal human's head like a crushed watermelon but luckily for him he was no human and his demigod reflexes saved his ass there.
As if almost on instinct Dante thrusts his sword right into the side of the monster and was surprised to see it cleave through his belly like it was made of paper, 'divine metal really is the bane of these fuckers huh?' Dante thought.
The introduction of the sword to the monster's gut made a spray of foul black blood erupt with some smearing the sword. 'I expected it to be much harder but I guess my sword will help me coast through a bit,' Dante thought.
Dante was quickly brought out of his internal musing by a roar of pain and a rapidly descending fist that would have smashed through him if his instincts had not screamed at him to move.
He quickly leaned back and shifted his weight to aid him in rolling away from the monster and putting some space between them, he had to use the reach of his sword to his advantage and stay away from those punches.
'It's a good thing he's slower then me or I would be thoroughly fucked,' he thought as he watched the ground crack from where the fist had slammed down.
Quickly getting up to his feet Dante checks his mp hoping to be able to use some magic to avoid a fight in close quarters and supplement his swordplay.

Dante smirked, 'now this is going to make things a lot easier,' he thinks before he feels danger and is forced away as another swing lands where he just was, looking at a very pissed giant of a lotus eater with his fist in the ground, Dante clears his head and gets ready to finally end this whole thing and maybe be able to get some rest and actually figure out what the hell is going on.
Dante uses [Shadow Spike] and mentally aims at the monster in front of him, immediately a spike erupts from his shadow and races towards the lotus eater who leans to the side to avoid it.
'Huh would you look at that, the musclehead that is the lotus boss can be nimble when he wants to,' he thinks before immediately throwing another [Shadow Spike] using the shadow of a nearby car and was able to hit him on the shoulder just as he tried to dodge once more.
'He's still got much more health than me but hopefully I can get some good hits with my magic and then go in and finish this with my sword,' Dante thinks quickly, coming up with a basic strategy.
The lotus boss snarls and dashes at Dante not wanting to be hit with his magic again.
Dante takes a step back and shoots another [Shadow Spike] at the lotus boss who tries to dodge but with the momentum of his charge working against him, can only reduce the damage by leaning to the side and letting it hit the left side of his stomach all the while continuing to rush Dante.
The lotus boss throws another powerful punch with his left fist hoping to finally end the slippery little demigod before him, it was not to be however as Dante spins to the side and uses his blade to slice the monster across his stomach.
[Swordsmanship] has levelled up!
Ignoring the notification, Dante ducks under a punch only to realise it was feint when a jaw rattling strike from the lotus boss' knee crashes into his chin and and lifts him off the ground, the lotus boss wastes no time taking advantage of Dante's mistake and immediately follows up with a thunderous punch that lands squarely in the middle of his chest, breaking bones and causing blood to rush out of his mouth.
Dante is sent flying and crashing into the wall, before bonelessly sliding down it onto the ground.
"S-shit," Dante mutters weakly as he looks up to see the rapidly approaching lotus boss who looks all too happy to curb stomp him, needing some breathing room, Dante immediately sends 2 [Shadow Spikes] at him, one aiming for the heart and one honing in on his lower body, he watches with satisfaction as while the big bastard had been able to avoid a spike to the heart he was still tagged by a spike to the shoulder and one to the right leg.
[Shadow spike] has levelled up!
The monster roared with pain, black blood spilling from the many wounds he'd suffered through so far as he fell onto the ground with a thump, he lifted his head to glare at Dante with a look of pure hatred that would make most people shit their pants but all he got from the half delirious Dante was a bloody grin.
Getting up with a slight limp, Dante thanks his healing once again as he can already feel his bones mending and wounds closing. He made to walk over to the monster but stumbles having not been fully healed yet, giving the lotus eater enough time to shoot to his feet and charge at him with the ferocity of a tiger, knowing that this was likely the bastards last ditch attempt to kill him, he gets ready to finish the monster.
As the lotus boss comes into range Dante instantly ducks under the powerful punch that would have killed him had it landed, he pirouettes to the right and swings his sword into the monster's guts and is rewarded by a roar of pain as black blood sprayed into the air.
The monster roared and charged at him throwing punches wildly, as Dante tries his best to dodge them but the monster felt somehow faster than before, whether this was because Dante was still not fully healed or it had gotten some near death power boost was anyone's guess, the sheer ferocity and unpredictable nature of the strikes had left him flat footed and eventually a punch caught him by surprise as he was sent sailing into a bunch of bins in the alley way.
Dante looks up with a foggy vision to see the lotus boss limping towards him, grinning victoriously. The lotus boss came to a stop in front of him and stood almost casually, no longer enraged as he was likely assured of his victory.
"I might not be able to kill you little demigod, but that doesnt mean i can't hurt you a little or a lot, if you grovel at my feet like a good little boy, i'll just let you off easy and wipe your memories and stick you back in your room this time with maximum security, if you dont however…." The monster trails off threateningly.
"Alright alright you win man, I've just got one last thing to say," Dante says, acting like he'd given up. "Speak," he says, impatiently, "checkmate bitch," Dante says with sadistic glee and immediately releases a [Shadow Spike] through his heart, the monster lets out a wail of pain and then disintegrates into golden dust.
[Shadow manipulation] has levelled up!
Lying on the ground Dante pants heavily as he revels in the rush that came with winning a hard fought battle, a pop up from the Game appears before him.

AN: just to say I'm going for a dark character who will be cold, sarcastic, hungry for power and a bit of a delinquent who can hold a grudge…. Tho he won't be a psycho nut job who goes around randomly killing and revelling in peoples suffering so you don't have to worry about that.
He will get darker as the story goes on, for now he's just been dropped into a new world so you can't expect him to not be nervous and all at first but rest assured he'll be much more composed in the future.
