Olivia decided to let Eleanore sleep in while she got ready. She had had a smile plastered on her face ever since she woke up with a text message from Elliot. Because she was so giddy she decided to make her self look more presentable than normal. She only wore dresses for special occasions but she reasoned that Elliot being alive and meeting their daughter was one of them. So she donned a light pink baby doll dress with puffer sleeves that tied in the bottom. It was a comfortable and flowey dress that was perfect for a hot summer day.

She didn't apply as much makeup as usual. Elliot always said he preferred when she didn't have any on. So she stuck with the basics a light brush of foundation, some mascara, and a touch of blush. She then curled her hair, threw it back into a nice pony tail, and left a few pieces out to frame the front. Olivia made sure that everything looked okay before deciding to get Eleanore up.

"Ellie, bug. It's time to wake up."

"You look pretty, mommy." Olivia smiled at her daughter. Her voice was raspy with sleep. She could tell that the four year old was still tired, but she put in her best effort not to be cranky towards her for waking her up.

"Thank you." Eleanore held out her arms and Olivia happily obliged by picking her up. "Are you going to help me pick out your outfit for the day?" Eleanore nodded as the pair walked over to her closet. She had her arms wrapped her her moms neck and her head placed comfortably on her moms shoulder. They looked through her clothes and the four year old turned down all of her mothers suggestions. "You aren't making this easy on me kid," the adult laughed out.

"Mommy, we can match," Ellie exclaimed. Before Olivia could see what the four year old meant she through her body forward to grab a romper that was on it's hanger. Olivia quickly had to adjust her arms in order to ensure she didn't drop the young girl. Ellie came back holding one of her newer pieces of clothing. It was a pink romper with little white hearts on it. It had spaghetti strap sleeves that you had to tie into bows.

"You want to match me?" Olivia questioned with a smile. Ellie Just turned to her mother and nodded the romper clutched to her chest "Alright, lets get you dressed." Once the four year old was dressed Olivia moved on to the next task at hand. Doing her hair.

Eleanore wasn't the worst at getting her hair done, and she wasn't the worst at getting it brush. She was the worst when it came to deciding if she liked the hairstyle or not. Instead of trying something new Olivia decided to stick to her little girls favorite. She created two little buns close to the top of her head and then accessorized each bun with a pink bow. While Olivia wasn't that girly, Eleanore was. The older brunette blamed it on her daughter three older sisters. Since the day she was born they pampered her with bows, painting her nails, and clothes that they thought were so cute they couldn't not buy them.

Kathleen was the main perpetrator. She would take Eleanore out on shopping sprees and spoil her to no avail. Olivia had to start giving the young blonde her card because as Eleanore got older she decided to join in on the shopping and her sister was a broke college student. Though, Olivia wouldn't have it any other way. It was how to two siblings bonded. She wouldn't take that away from them even if it did save her a bit of money.

"Are you excited to meet your dad?" Eleanore shrugged her shoulders. She could tell the four year old was still confused about the entire thing. Hell, Olivia was still confused to and she was an adult. A part of her wanted to jump all in at once. Have him move in and just take off where they left. The other part knew that couldn't happen. Eleanore needed time to get to know her father and truthfully so did Olivia. A part of Olivia couldn't believe that this was real. That Elliot was truly coming back to them.

"When's he coming, mommy?"

"Soon. We have about an hour." Olivia watched as her daughter tensed a little bit. Although the four year old wouldn't admit it Olivia knew she was nervous. She was shy around people she didn't know. Olivia partially blamed herself for that one. She closed herself off with those around her. She took Ellie out in public but she always stayed cautious. It was a hazard of the job. A part of her thought it wasn't such a bad thing for now because so far she hasn't lost her most prized possession.

"Is he going to like me?" She watched as her four year old down casted her eyes to the floor. Olivia felt her heart break.

"Why do you think he won't like you?"

"He left." Olivia sighed.

"Eleanore, he already adores you. I showed him pictures of you and he was in awe of you," Olivia sighed. "You know how monsters sneak under your bed at night?" Eleanore nodded. "Well there are even scarier monsters that daddy has to hunt down and put away. One of the monsters your father was chasing was trying to hurt us. Mommy couldn't fight the monster away, but your daddy could. He just had to do it in a way that would protect us from the monster. Thats why he had to go into hiding these past few years. He was protecting us." Olivia lifted her daughters chin so that her blue eyes would meet her brown ones. "Does that make sense?" Ellie smiled at her mom and nodded. Olivia knew it probably wouldn't be the end of the conversation. The little girl was probably going to have more questions, but she didn't blame her. All Olivia could do was try her best. There wasn't a guide book for something like this.

"Eleanore, don't you dare get that door," Olivia stated sternly as she exited the little girls bedroom. Olivia knew it was Elliot, but she was trying to break her daughters less than ideal habit. Elliot had texted her and told her that he was almost there a few minutes ago so she took the time to put on a pair of sandals and then head Eleanore's room to grab her a pair of hers.

Once Olivia reached the door she opened it. She couldn't help but grin like a fool. Elliot went to lean in for a kiss, but she stepped back and shook her head. She wanted this day to be about him and Ellie. Plus Eleanore had never seen her mom kiss anyone so Olivia figured they would introduce one thing at a time.

"Sorry, she is just right behind us in the living room." Elliot nodded as if he understood. "Are you nervous?" She could tell by his body language that he was.

"Yeah. It's weird. I know she's my daughter, but I have missed everything so far. I'm meeting this new person that is part me, but she's a stranger. I feel so bad for missing so much."

"If it helps she is nervous too," Olivia watched as he shook his head. Olivia looked behind her to make sure the little girl was watching the screen and not her. She leaned in and placed her left hand on his right cheek and then brought her lips to his left one. "Common, meet your daughter." She held out her hand and once he grabbed it she pulled him into the living room. Olivia grabbed the remote and turned off the t.v. earning her daughters attention. "Eleanore, this is your father." Olivia turned her attention to Elliot, "and Elliot this is your daughter."
