Au: Here's what this story is about and if you saw the summary please don't freak out. Nezuko is currently 14-15 years old because I checked her age to make sure to put her in this crossover to be paired up with Hiei. I just want to note that and there will be moments where I add Nezuko doing cute things as she did in the show except to change them and replaced them into the Yu Yu Hakusho series. I'll be honest. I tried to come up without rewriting this whole thing to see if it will fit well with the story, but I decided no let's do this. It's hard. However, I finished plotting it all down and it will be written down up here, so I'm excited about that. I hope you enjoy this story like the other two MHA/BNHA fanfics I have written up here as well.

P.S. I thought there would be a crossover featuring Tanjiro and Nezuko in Yu Yu Hakusho in this series. They did have a cool drawing. This idea came into my head when I saw a Gacha video of Nezuko entering the MHA universe which was really good to watch before returning to her world. This is going to be long fanfic and I'll personally add my own chapters that weren't in the YYH series.

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN YU YU Hakusho or DEMON SLAYER. THEY BOTH BELONG TO THEIR OWNERS THAT HAVE WRITTEN THE MANGA AND PLEASE DON'T COPY THIS FANFICTION.

In the land of top mountains the trail that walks along the deep woods where Tanjiro was carrying the box over his back with his sister Nezuko inside. It was almost getting dark, and he had to be careful around this time when a demon could appear anywhere. Just a matter of luck, a demon appeared just when it was striking towards Tanjiro wearing a malicious smile on its face.

"Human flesh. Perfect timing!" The demon purred.

Tanjiro was prepared to fight the demon after all he is a demon slayer to kill any demon that he comes across that will try to kill him. He has to be aware that not all demons are easy to beat depending on what level or class they are in. As he pulled out his sword, he jumps aside and the demon began to strike him, and then as he was about to strike for Tanjiro's face. Nezuko appeared just in time as she kicked him away from them and stood her ground next to her brother.

"Nezuko! Stay close and don't separate yourself from me." Tanjiro ordered.

Nezuko "hn" in response as the demon shook off the pain and charged at them again. Nezuko used her legs to kick his side while Tanjiro used his sword to slice his arms and then lets his sister takes the opening attack while he prepares for his tenth form of water breathing technique.

"HERE WE GO! Tenth form! Water breathing technique!" Tanjiro shouted preparing to use the final attack to see the thread towards the demon and strikes it down. However, when he thought he had killed it the demon lets out a dark evil laugh.

"What a weak move you've got there. You thought you killed me that easily?" The demon purred.

Tanjiro glanced over to see the demon holding his sister who was struggling to get out of the demon's grip. The demon smirked as he knocked the girl out cold and used a technique of his own to form a portal making Tanjiro slightly widen.

"Say goodbye!" The demon tosses the unconscious body of Nezuko into the portal as Tanjiro immediately runs to try to get his sister back, but he could only watch in horror.

"NEZUKO!" Tanjiro screamed.

He watched his sister being warped inside of the portal that the demon had summoned sunken her inside of it. As Nezuko was unconscious she didn't feel anything or scent something unusual when she was warped into another part of the world underneath something dark that will keep her body from disappearing.

It was the late afternoon, Yusuke was just heading home after dealing with the pain in the neck with teachers after returning alive. On his way back home, he noticed something underneath the bridge laying underneath as he paced over slightly widen to find a girl. She was a petite young girl with fair skin, visibly large, prominent fangs, and sharp, claw-like nails that fade to red where they point. Her hair is long, black, and reaches just below her waist, turning a flame-orange color as it passes her elbows, and appears to be crimped into large, straight ridges, worn side-swept drastically to her left. Her clothes look rather old-looking She wears a light pink kimono with a hemp leaf pattern, the lining a paler pink, with a red and white checkered with orange threaded obi, with another band of green above it. Over this, she sports a long, dark brown hair that reaches past her knees towards her calves, as well as a pair of zōri with pink straps and white tabi socks, wrapped with thick pieces of black material. She also wore a small pink ribbon to the left of her head, to keep her hair out of her face, and the bamboo gag Giyu Tomioka gave her, which is secured around her jaw with a strip of red cloth.

The girl laying under the dark tunnel lying unconscious as he picked her up and carried her back to his apartment. When he carried the girl back to his apartment, Yusuke went to go get a wet cloth draining it out in the bucket then lay it across the girl's forehead.

'How did she end up underneath the bridge? Knowing some people wouldn't give a damn if they would do something so dangerous to harm her.' Yusuke deeply thought.

He sits there for a moment watching the girl's chest rise up and down until he decided to go do something elsewhere in the apartment. Hours later around the evening, the girl's eyes opened as she stairs up at the ceiling blinking as she sat up feeling the cloth on her forehead still slightly wet. She scans around the room looking around to find unusual things she has never seen before and they were a lot different than what she expected. As she crawled out of the bed placing the cloth on the nightstand she enters the room to see the home furniture was most likely different, the kitchen was very odd, and the bathroom was more unusual.

'Where am I?' She thought.

She heard the door open and slammed as she stood her ground to see a boy no older than fourteen with black hair, usually slicked back with gel, with brown eyes. He has a peach to tan skin complexion and has a skinny but lean, muscular body. He wears a green jumpsuit with gold buttons and black shoes.

The boy's eyes met the girls as he faintly smiled, "Hey, I see you finally awake. You had a large bump on your forehead that really must've knocked you out cold." The girl tilted her head to the side as the male walked past her setting the bag he was carrying on the coffee table. He took a seat by the couch and patted her to come to sit next to him and she did obey to take a seat feeling the soft cushion.

"My name is Yusuke Urameshi. I found you nearly the dark tunnel underneath the bridge on the way back from school." Yusuke told the girl as she "Mmf" underneath the bamboo muzzle as she blinks her eyelids at him. "What's your name? You got that muzzle in your mouth that is preventing you to talk, so I guess you can't." Yusuke stands up from the couch to go find some paper near the desk and ink pen to let the girl write her name down. "Here. Use this to write your name."

The girl was confused with the ink pen she was holding as she clicked it and was in 'awe' as she begins to write down her name. When she finished writing she handed it over for Yusuke to read it out loud and clear.

Yusuke squinted his eyes reading her name saying, "N...Nezuka Kamado?"

Nezuko was deadpanned to hear him pronounce her name incorrectly as Yusuke read her name correctly mistaken the letter "O" as the letter "A". He slightly giggled scratching the back of his nape staring directly at her with an apologetic expression.

"Oh! My bad! Your name is Nezuko." He giggled.

Nezuko smiled underneath her muzzle and nodded her head, "Well, it's nice to meet you Nezuko. Since you've just woken up just now, I can take you home." Just as Yusuke grabbed the girl's wrist to drag her outside Nezuko noticed that there was still sunlight outside and she yanked her arm back to step away from Yusuke who was slightly confused about her actions.

"Y...You don't want to go outside?" He asked.

Nezuko shook her head as Yusuke shuts the door behind him except it was caught by someone that was trying to get inside. Yusuke opens the door as a girl who steps inside looked about 16 has long blue hair pulled up into a ponytail and purple eyes and she wore clad in a light-pink kimono with a white obi sash.

"Yusuke I-Hello..." The girl stops in mid-sentence when she spotted Nezuko standing in the room as she approached over to her. She faintly smiled and held the girl's hand as Nezuko stares up at her quite confused with her friendly gestures. "My aren't you such an adorable demon."

"Demon?" Yusuke quirks an eyebrow up at the girl.

"Yes, demon." She replied. "She's quite a cutie."

"Please, lay off on her. She was unconscious when I found her and she just woke up." Yusuke said.

"I'm Botan and what's your name?" Botan inquired.

"Botan, don't you see that muzzle on her mouth? She can't talk." Yusuke said.

"Oh, pardon me. Do you have a name?"

Nezuko nodded.

"Her name is Nezuko Kamado." Yusuke said.

"Very please to meet you, Nezuko." Botan cheerfully smiled at Nezuko making her smile in return.

"I was just going to return her home. But for some reason, she doesn't want to go outside into the sunlight." Yusuke said.

"Afraid to step outside? Hm, very strange even for a demon to be acting like that."

Nezuko walks over to the coffee table where the paper she wrote her name on and tries to explain it by writing it out. When she was done, she walks over and handed the sheet to Botan to let her read it to Yusuke.

"She said, "The sunlight burns onto my skin, and it will kill me instantly. I only come out when it's dark out." Botan read out loud as she perked her head up to glance over at Nezuko. "So, the sun will kill you if you step out there, but when it's completely dark you can come out."

Nezuko bobbed her head as Yusuke speaks up, "Well, at least I got to understand why you couldn't step out. But do you have a place to stay?"

The response that Yusuke got was a "No" when Nezuko shook her head. She did seem confused about her surroundings and she didn't know where she ended up since her world isn't much like the tall house buildings, streets were painted black with a middle white line and yellow separated. Not only that she doesn't even know where she is and there was no home not after what happened to her family only leaving her and Tanjiro alive.

"I don't think she has a home. Why not let her stay here with you?" Botan suggested.

"With me? I don't have a room for her except we can share by getting another futon for her. Plus, she'll need some clothes and I'm not sure if she wants to eat anything afterward." Yusuke said.

"Then, it's settled that you're going to look after her, right?"

"I didn't say-"

"Nezuko-chan! You're going to enjoy being with Yusuke and I'm sure you wouldn't mind being apart with him, right?" Botan asked as Nezuko merely nodded her head as she watched Botan get headbutted by Yusuke.

"I wasn't finished talking." His eyes glanced over at Nezuko standing there as he rested a palm on her shoulder. "You stay here as long as you want. Just so you know, I'm not a good babysitter, so don't go wandering off to places or be around strangers that pick on you. I can kick them in the ass if they bother you, but don't get into any trouble. Got it?"

Nezuko did understand his words very clearly as she gave him a head pat making him stiffen a little. When she stopped a vision of Tanjiro appeared in front of her because the color green he wore most likely looked similar to her brother's clothes that he wore.

"Wonderful! Now, Yusuke, I came all the way over to explain the next mission for you that you'll have to do." Botan said.

"If it's one of Koenma's tasks then let's see it. Now, that I'm alive again." Yusuke said.

"Mmm?" Nezuko grunted.

The two individuals looked over at her to see her head tilt to the side as Yusuke chuckled, "About that Nezuko...uh...I'll explain it to you later. Anyway, what's the mission Botan?"

"There are three artifacts that have been stolen by three demons to extract and contain the souls of any human it comes across. We need to get them back in the Spirit World. The first is the Orb of Baast, the second The Forlorn Hope, and the last is the Shadow Sword. You must find them." Botan explained as Nezuko lays over by the couch staring up at the ceiling eavesdropping on their conversation about the mysterious artifacts that belonged in Spirit World.

"Okay. So, these artifacts are stolen. By whom?" Yusuke asked.

"Three demons that are criminals name: Gouki, Kurama, and Hiei," Botan replied.

"Right. Then, I should do that by tomorrow, right" Yusuke asked.

"Yes, you should," Botan said as she looked over towards Nezuko who laid on the couch.

"It was nice meeting you, Nezuko-Chan," Botan said.

Nezuko sits up to glanced over her shoulder waving goodbye to Botan with a happy expression on her face. Just when Botan left, Yusuke sighs as he went over to sit on the armchair glancing down at Nezuko.

"I got a load of shit to deal with tomorrow. Not that you would know about after what happened to me about a week ago." Yusuke said as Nezuko stares up at him very eager to listen as she sat on her knees feeling his eye gaze staring into her pink eyes. "I guess I can tell you what happened to me."

So, Yusuke told Nezuko what happened to him being dead after saving a kid, and he had to do some task from a toddler the ruler of Spirit World. When he had to get a kiss from his former childhood also his crush which he hasn't confessed to her quite yet. Afterward, Yusuke lets Nezuko borrow a pair of his clothes a large white t-shirt and grey pants for her sleep-in after she took her bath. Yusuke got out a futon for Nezuko to lay on while she's staying under his care.

"I forgot to ask. Uh, this may be a bit rude, but you are the same age as I am, right?" Yusuke asked a little nervous as Nezuko nodded her head when a woman comes in to smack Yusuke in the back of his head.

"AH! MOTHER!" Yusuke yelped.

"Idiot! You are never supposed to ask a woman their age." His mother shouted.

"I know. I-I just had to ask first of all." Yusuke sweatdropped.

His mother peered over at Nezuko that sat on the futon as her face soften, "I apologize for my son's inconvenience, dear. Please stay as long as you like." Yusuke rolls his eyes listening to his mother's kind words towards Nezuko before his mother left out of the bedroom.

"That hag sure knows how to embarrass me in front of guests," Yusuke muttered.

Nezuko climbs under her futon and Yusuke climbs in bed as he looked over at the demon girl, "Goodnight, Nezuko. See you in the morning." With that, his eyes shut as Nezuko faced back up on the ceiling staring at it blankly thinking about her brother worried if he was concerned about her safety.

'Tanjiro...' She thought deeply before shutting her eyes to rest through the whole night of sleeping as much as she could to regenerate.

Yusuke is awakened up by his mother the next morning as he groggily sat up to get ready for school. When he went to get dress he remembers Nezuko was still asleep, and she wasn't awake thinking that she may be a hard sleeper. So, he decided to put her in his bed to let her sleep more throughout the day while he carries on with his day. Yusuke returns to school that day, and when he tries to join a conversation between two students, they run away from him thinking he was a ghost. Keiko approaches him, sparking the memory of her kissing him. They walk to school together, and when their schoolmates see him they are shocked, as they had assumed he was dead. They all run away after he looks at them. Yusuke comments that maybe he should've stayed dead, but Kuwabara taps his back and tells him not to worry because he's going to be a ghost soon after he defeats him. Principal Takanaka enters the scene and hits Yusuke at the back of his head, welcoming him back to school. This annoys Yusuke, making him think about skipping, but Keiko scolds him. From above, Mr. Iwamoto scowls seeing that Yusuke is back at school.

Through the whole day of school lessons, Yusuke begins his search for the three criminals in the town but is unsure of where to start looking. He lays down on a bench when he notices a large crowd gathering. He pushes his way through and sees a small child has fainted. Yusuke sees the kids rise into the air and follows it. The spirit leads him into an alley, but Yusuke loses sight of it. Looking around, he spots the criminal and used his Psychic Spyglass to check if this criminal has an artifact. He sees the Orb of Baast in the man's pocket. As he was about to confront him, thugs circle Yusuke, asking him for money. He gets into a fight and beats them up. When he finishes, however, he notices that the criminal has left.

While following the criminal, Yusuke arrives just outside of a forest. He sees a light emitting from the middle of the forest, prompting him to run in. Hiei is seen practicing with the Shadow Sword, and begins talking to Gouki about raising a demon army using the sword. Gouki says he likes the way he thinks. Hiei continues his conversation and says that on the night of the full moon, they will use all three artifacts to have complete control. However, Kurama emerges from the shadows and states that he will be withdrawing from their alliance. Angry, Gouki demands that Kurama hand over his artifact, the Forlorn Hope, but Kurama refuses, saying he needs it to fulfill his own desires first. Gouki attempts to punch Kurama but is interrupted by Yusuke walking towards the group. Hiei interrogates Yusuke, who introduces himself to everyone. Hiei insults Yusuke over his weak spirit energy. Kurama takes this time to leave, with Hiei soon following suit, leaving Gouki to deal with Yusuke.

The two began to exchange words, when Gouki pulls out the Orb of Baast, and sticks his fingers inside, pulling out the spirit of the child from earlier. He attempts to consume the soul, which angers Yusuke, who kicks him in the stomach, causing Gouki to spit the soul out. Yusuke then punches Gouki in the face, causing him to fall to the ground. Yusuke picks up the Orb of Baast, thinking he had an easy victory. However, Gouki appears behind him and transforms into his demon form. The demon form Gouki transformed into was incredibly strong that not even Yusuke could deal with him.

Yusuke awoke from his unconscious stage to find himself back at the apartment as he looked around to see Nezuko standing there wearing a light green frog hoodie, black skirt, and black socks as she stood in the doorway approaching over Yusuke.

"W-What happened to the forest?" He asked.

Nezuko stares at him blankly until Botan enters the room saying, "You were knocked unconscious after losing your fight against Gouki."

"How did you find me?" Yusuke asked.

"I didn't. Nezuko did." Botan said.

Yusuke looks over at Nezuko slightly shocked, "You went outside? You could've gotten hurt by the sun!"

"Calm down, Yusuke. It was cloudy outside and Nezuko sensed you were in danger and knew you didn't come back home sooner." Botan explained as she faced over at Nezukoo who was standing there with her hands inside of the hoodie. "Which is why she went out to go look for you and brought you all the way back when it stopped raining. I happen to give her some clothes when she was drenched in the rain."

Yusuke grunted, "I appreciate your help, Nezuko. Thanks."

"We still need to get the artifact from Gouki. You did manage to find Kurama and Hiei too."

"Yeah, I know," Yusuke mumbled.

By the next day, Gouki is seen playing with the Orb of Baast, and a kid returns it to him but took her soul afterward. Yusuke calls him out, and Gouki transforms into his demon form again. Yusuke charges and lands a punch on his stomach, but it hurt him instead because his skin was rock hard. Gouki tries to hit him but misses, and Yusuke tries to pierce his skin with a giant stick but fails to do so. Gouki uses this to his advantage and throws him to the ground while clinging to the stick. Yusuke is getting desperate and thinks about using his Spirit Gun, but opts not to use it yet after thinking about it carefully. Gouki kicks him and stomps his feet on him, enjoying his screams of pain, until Botan throws something on his back, catching his attention. Botan runs for her life, then runs on Yusuke's side. Gouki grabs Yusuke first, opening his mouth as he prepares to devour him Nezuko manages to find them while wearing a hoodie and warm clothing to keep her skin from burning from the sun. She ran over to them quickly using demon speed to kick Gouki's head off of his body right when Yusuke shot his body through his chest as his head bounced away. Botan and Yusuke were in shock as they saw Nezuko was standing there as they looked over at the body to see it disappearing and releasing the five spirits to return to the people Gouki had stolen.

"Man, I didn't think you would kick his head off. That was sick." Yusuke patted Nezoku on her shoulder as she faintly smiled up at him.

"Nezuko! You must be extremely hot under there with all of that warm fabric your wearing." Botan slightly gasped.

"It's getting dark soon and she can change out of it to wear the lighter clothes." Said Yusuke reaching over to grab a stick to help him stand up straight after the fight. Botan offers to help him as Nezuko stares at the two before noticing the sun was setting as night was approaching just when she stripped out of the heavy clothing.

As Nezuko walks through the crowd of humans blending in while helping an injured Yusuke to escort him home. Yusuke was holding onto the stick to keep his balance without stumbling over.

"Hey Yusuke, can't you just admit it'd be easier to lean on my shoulder?"Botan tries to lend Yusuke a hand when Nezuko being shorter than the two of them was helping him. Yusuke glanced over at Botan grunting in response hissing his aching bones after the fight.

"Right, can't you admit it'd be embarrassed?" Yusuke replied in sarcasm earning a small pout from Botan.

Suddenly, her watch was detecting spirit energy that was nearby when they noticed a person approaching them as Nezuko stares at the male figure heading towards them. He had bright green eyes, as well as long vibrant red hair, with two long forelocks on either shoulder and the rest on his back. While in this form, he is occasionally mistaken for a female because of his long hair and delicate features. He wore his pink school uniform matching pink slacks and a jacket with gold trim.

"It's Kurama," Yusuke muttered.

Kurama uses telepathic to mind read into their skulls just by looking at them, "Don't worry. I have no intention of fighting you, nor do I intend to flee. In fact, I need to ask you a favor." Yusuke gritted his teeth together as Nezuko glared over at Kurama gripping onto Yusuke's arm. They watch Kurama continue to walk until he stopped his tracks.

"Are you crazy?" Yusuke inquired in disbelief to help a demon out with a favor.

Kurama says not turning back to face them saying, "Give me three days. After that, I'll return you the Forlorn Hope." Just like that, Kurama walks out of their sight and disappears into the thick crowd.

Just as they returned to the apartment, Nezuko sets Yusuke down gently as he rested his bum on his bed feeling his whole body break almost like a glass. Nezuko was going to be helping him by running a bath the way Yusuke showed her how to and pick out a pair of clothes for him to wear.

"Gee, thanks Nezuko." Yusuke hoarsely said. "You don't have to do that for me."

Nezuko faintly smiled waving her hand to assure him that he should let her do this for him after what he's been through. She leaves out of the room letting Yusuke carry on with his business while she fixed him a bowl of his favorite meal when he's through getting himself relaxed. About an hour later, Yusuke retreats out of the bathroom drying his forehead, and tosses it into the basket of clothes that needed to be clean later through the weekend. He saw a bowl of food being set up at the table a glass of water, Yusuke looks around for Nezuko to find her asleep in her futon wearing her warm pajama's as he faintly smiled.

"Thank's Nezuko." He whispered.

Three days later, Yusuke and Nezuko were going to be meeting at the hospital where he asked to be. When they enter inside they followed Kurama leading them to Room 501, where Shiori Minamino, Kurama's human mother, is confined. The woman looked very ill, her hair was in a ponytail, and her eyelids were halfway shut to see the color brown in them.

"Hey there, it's been a long time since you've brought friends with you," Shiori says sitting up from her bed faintly smiling over at the two guests. Kurama comes over to his mother staring at her worried knowing she wasn't supposed to be sitting up therefore she should be resting since she's so ill.

"It's all right, mother. You don't have to sit up!" Kurama said.

'Mother?' Nezuko and Yusuke thought quite unexpectedly.

"It's not so bad. I'm feeling well today." Shiori said.

"Shall I peel an apple for you?" Kurama kindly asked.

"No, I'm not hungry." His mother politely declined.

Kurama furrowed his eyebrows feeling a little overwhelmed. He didn't want his mother to starve herself to death and she needed nutrients to keep her well and healthy.

"Please eat, mother." Kurama pleaded."You'll never get well without nutrition."

Kurama's mother faintly smiled, "Yes, of course. It's just hard to remember all these things, Shuichi."

As Kurama fully sat up straight saying, "well try harder. I need you to get well quickly."

Nezuko watches a very loving sight between mother and son, as evidenced by Kurama growing attached enough to her emotionally to go to great lengths to ensure her health and safety. A vision appeared of her mother was in bed laying there sick while her little brother was taking care of her as she emotionally stares at the loving sight bringing some memories back into her system. When they excused themselves leaving the room to head up the top of the hospital roof for some fresh air and to feel the slight breeze flowing through them.

"Shouichi is the name I've taken in my human form. That woman is my mother, sort of." Kurama explained as the two of them listened to him slightly. "My father passed away years ago. For fifteen years she brought me up, while I have deceived her."

Kurama's truest name is Yoko. He tells him about his past, that he was a spirit fox, gaining demon powers over the hundreds of years that he lived, and in time he grew bored and past his hours learning the art of breaking codes and seals, but 15 years ago he made a mistake and was severely injured by his pursuer, and with the last energy he had he escaped into the Human World and became the child of a human family, originally intending to recover his Spirit Energy, and planned that he would escape after 10 years, but as he was about to escape his mother fell ill. That is also the same time when Gouki and Hiei appeared, and he remembered the powers of the Forlorn Hope. Then he told Yusuke to let him use the Forlorn Hope to save his human mother's life, then he would accept his punishment.

Yusuke asks him why would a monster do that for a human, and Kurama replies that maybe he is guilty, and maybe he feels like he is one of those mother-devouring creatures because he caused her great pains and feels like he broke her spirit and maybe in someway he caused her disease. Yusuke asks him why is he telling him these things, and he replied that maybe he just needed someone to know and he could tell that Yusuke would trust him. Suddenly a nurse barges out from the door, alerting him about his mother's condition. His mother is already in the critical stage, and she is about to die that night.

At that moment, the moon is at its full that night, and Kurama decided that he would use it already. Yusuke asks him if he knows what would it ask for in return, and Kurama affirms and reveals to him that it is life. The Forlorn Hope began doing its thing but then Yusuke interrupts and puts his hand on top of it, just like what Kurama is doing. He told the Forlorn Hope to take his life instead and Kurama told him that it doesn't make sense since it's his wish, but Yusuke replied that it also doesn't make sense saving his mother's life if she's going to spend the rest of her life mourning his death, remembering her own mother while she was mourning over his own death. A bolt of light strikes out from the Forlorn Hope as Botan is approaching their place, and both of them are seen face down onto the floor.

Botan is approaching their place, and both of them are seen face down onto the floor. Kurama gets up first and runs away to see his mother, and Botan arrives to see Yusuke still face down onto the floor. Nezuko approached him to see him not waking up as she groaned and used her head to headbutt his hard skill making Yusuke groan in pain; he held the side of his head aching in despair.

"OW! What was that for?" Yusuke hissed. He glared over at Nezuko to see a happy expression written on her face of relief.

"Yusuke! Thank the spirits that your all right." Botan says in relief.

Yusuke gets up, glad that he's still alive, and realizes that if he would have died his mother would be the one to be sad, but on the better side of things, he managed to retrieve the Forlorn Hope. It spoke again and said that because of their good intentions it decided to grant the wish without anything in return. Kurama was welcomed with the good news that his mother's disease is gone. Now Yusuke and Nezuko have only one more artifact to go, and he celebrated with Botan, and watching from Spirit World is Koenma, annoyed with the fact that the two are celebrating not knowing that the last artifact is going to be ten times harder to get since Hiei is the one have it he's no ordinary demon.

The next morning, Yusuke is seeing cutting class once again, this time talking with Botan. Botan explains to Yusuke about the third artifact and the demon who owns it. However, the conversation is cut short when Keiko comes looking for Yusuke and sees Botan chatting with him. Botan goes over to greet her, however, Yusuke smacks her over the head and reminds her that she doesn't belong to this world and that things will become complicated. Botan decides to run off, leaving Yusuke to explain things to Keiko. However, Keiko doesn't want to hear about it and walks away, with Yusuke following after her. From afar, Hiei watches everything from his Jagan. He is now confident he has a plan to take back the artifacts.

On her way home from school, Keiko is lost in thought about seeing Yusuke and Botan together. While walking, she passes by Hiei, who uses the Shadow Sword and knocks her out. Yusuke, who is still in school, gets notified by the Demon Compass that a demon is close by. He runs out and follows the direction of the compass, running into Botan along the way. Botan tells him that the enemy has Keiko held hostage, angering Yusuke. They both arrive at a warehouse, and once inside they are met by possessed people, all branding a red circle on their forehead. Hiei then appears in front of Yusuke and Botan, telling them he controls the people here with his Jagan. Two possessed men then hold up Keiko, who is still knocked out from earlier. Hiei demands that Yusuke hand over the two artifacts in exchange for Keiko's safety. Yusuke obliges, and hands over the Orb of Baast and the Forlorn Hope. However, Hiei double-crosses Yusuke, saying he is still in control of Keiko's life. Looking at Keiko, Yusuke and Botan see a slit appear on Keiko's forehead, slowly opening to reveal red-eye. Botan tries to suppress the eye from opening using her spiritual power. Yusuke prepared to fight Hiei and stop his control over Keiko.

Nezuko was back at the apartment alone while Yusuke's mother was out drinking having a good time with her friends. While she was setting the table for dinner that was already prepared she sensed something was wrong. She sets the last dish on the table and heads out of the apartment to go search for Yusuke and hoping that he was alright. She did follow his scent trail and headed to the same direction where he was and then stopped when she found herself at a warehouse. Just as Nezuko opens the door she finds herself see a girl laying on the ground unconscious with Botan trying to heal her when she noticed an eye was trying to form on the girl's forehead. Her eyes landed on Yusuke glaring over at the demon that was holding the last artifact in his hands was the shadow sword. She remembered that the last person that hasn't come across was named Hiei and this had to be him.

Out of the blue, Yusuke flies high and smashes him in the jaw, and an unexpecting Hiei falls. Now enraged, Hiei uses his hyperspeed to daze Yusuke, but he follows the demon's movements and lands another right hand on his jaw as he tries to attack. Now more furious than ever, Hiei transforms himself into his demonic form, as red demonic eyes began to pop out of his body and his complexion turns green. As Nezuko watch the male struggling to fight against Hiei, her eyes changed pale pink eyes that appear a lighter color around the rims of their irises, slanted downwards towards the sides of her face and framed by notably long eyelashes, the pupils of which can appear slit as she transforms. She then charged straight over to Hiei to kick him on the side of the other room, and he caught himself as he glared over at her. Nezuko stands in front of Yusuke growling over at Hiei dangerously as the two demons stood feet away from each other.

"Nezuko!" Yusuke shouted.

"You've got a demon helping you out to fight against me?" Hiei sneered as he pointed the sword over at her as Nezuko growled underneath her muzzle.

"Trust me she's more than what you think," Yusuke said knitting his eyebrows together.

'What is the meeting of this? A human and demon working together?' Hiei finds this highly absurd to see that Nezuko was protecting Yusuke, Keiko, and Botan.

Nezuko began to charge straight for him piercing her eyes as she reached out her hand with her sharp claws-like nails trying to grab him. Hiei jumps aside trying to strike her with the sword, but Nezuko ducks and upper knee kicks him in the gut and swung her leg to his hip side hearing him wince a little. Then she straight up punched him in the face and uppercut him in the chin not hesitating.

'This girl is powerful! How the hell is she this strong?' Hiei sneered.

"Nezuko! I'll back you up! Yusuke shouted.

"MMMH!" Nezuko growls as she grabbed Hiei by the hair making him hiss with her strong grip as she flips him over onto his back. She was trying to kick, but Hiei grabs her by the ankle making her stumble a little just when Yusuke came to the rescue to kick Hiei by the side just as Nezuko was free from his grip, and in an instant, Hiei vanishes and appeared again behind them.

This shocks Yusuke, and then Hiei gets the upper hand when he traps him in some kind of spiritual bindings. Now Hiei beats up Yusuke, and then as he was about to land the finishing blow with his sword, Kurama suddenly steps into the way and absorbs his attack. He also made an effort of blinding Hiei with his blood, giving Yusuke enough time to recover a little bit while Nezuko stood her ground waiting to make a move for the next upcoming attack. Now stronger than before, he matches up with Hiei, landing every attack as he is getting hit by his opponent at the same time. When Yusuke realizes he won't win this way, he runs away from Hiei. As Hiei follows Yusuke turns back and unleashes his Spirit Gun on him, however, Hiei's hyperspeed allowed him to evade the blast, and Yusuke loses his strength upon releasing the attack.

When the fight was finally over, they retrieve the sword and Kurama used the antidote to get rid of the eye on Keiko's forehead. A sigh of relief came from Yusuke and Botan when they finally completed all three tasks to return the artifacts to Koenma.

Yusuke glanced over at Nezuko, "Thanks for the save back there, Nezuko. I didn't know you could fight like that." He received an "MMHM" from Nezuko and earned a head pat from her along with Kurama smiling under her muzzle. She glanced over to find Hiei's body nowhere to be found as she shrugged her shoulders and helped them all get home.
