I woke up to the alarm on my cell phone. Sorelli had told me to come in early so that we could go over a couple of things. I got up, showered and brushed my teeth and made my way to my closet to pick out my clothes for the day. I decided to go with a cute black pencil skirt, a gray sweater, which I tucked a little bit of into one side and leopard pumps. I completed it with a mixed metal necklace and an oversized watch. I grabbed my laptop and cellphone off of my night stand and put my other things in my brown medium-sized purse.

As I backed out of the driveway I made sure to shoot Sorelli a text to let her know I would be there shortly. I quickly turned up my radio and set it to my favorite station. After a couple of minutes a ringing sound emerged from my radio. I quickly looked at my radio's small screen to spot an incoming call from Meg. I quickly clicked the green button on my steering wheel to quickly accept the call. "Good morning, Meg," I answered. "Christine! I was so busy yesterday after work, I forgot to ask how your day went," came Meg's voice from my speakers. "It went great! I have so much to tell you! Whenever you're free, you should come to my NEW apartment!"

I pulled into the parking garage and when I went to park my car, I noticed a car already in my spot and Sorelli standing with a salesman. I parked myself elsewhere and walked over to them. "What's going on here," I asked as I placed my keys in my purse. "I wouldn't put my keys away if I were you, the salesman here is going to need them," said Sorelli. What?! Not only do I get a laptop, cell phone, a place to live, BUT I also get a CAR! Why didn't I get this job before? I thought to myself.

I made my way over to the car parked in my spot. It was a 2020 BMW 3 series. 330i to be exact, and my favorite color… blue! I opened the driver's door to take a look at the interior. It had beautiful black leather seats with front and rear seat heating options. The car was fully loaded with a navigation system and more! I was absolutely in love with this car. I skipped my way over towards Sorelli and the salesman. "Take the keys! I love this baby!" I grabbed my keys from my purse and shot them at Sorelli, holding my hand out in anticipation. Sorelli took the keys from the salesman and quickly out them in my hands. As soon as the keys touched my palm I jumped up and down squealing with delight.

As the salesman drove off with my car, I turned to see Mr. Destler walking out of the building and towards Sorelli and I. ``Mrs. Martin, Ms. Daae, are you ready for this eventful final day of training," he asked once he was close enough for us to hear. He stood tall above us both, he wore a black suit paired with a white dress shirt and dark blue tie. His hair was slicked back and his mask covered the right side of his face like usual. "Christine and I will be searching for apartments until about lunch time. Afterwards we will come back and I can finish off the rest of her training," Sorelli said with a smile on her face. Mr. Destler nodded in understanding. "Very well. If you and Ms. Daae want to stop by somewhere for lunch, that is fine by me." He looked towards my new car and then back towards me. "Ms. Daae, did you like the car? I hope you are pleased by my judgement of car. I thought this shade of blue would suit you," he said. "It's perfect, Mr. Destler. Blue is actually my favorite color, I love it," I shouted with excitement. Before I knew it I jumped with excitement and embraced him. He seemed a little tense at first, so I quickly let go and smiled at him with embarrassment surely plastered all over my face.

"We are here," said Sorelli as she pulled up to a large building. The building looked extremely expensive and I knew just by looking at the outside that I would never be able to afford this place without Mr. Destler's money. Sorelli and I got out of her car and walked into the building. The lobby was the most luxurious place I had ever been in. Sorelli and I made our way to the reception desk and Sorelli pulled a note out from her purse to give to the receptionist. "Mr. Destler sent us out here to look at that room," Sorelli stated shortly after. "Ah, yes. Right this way madam," he said walking us over towards the elevator. Sorelli and I got in and I watched her pick the highest number underneath the PH button.

We were on the 22nd floor shortly after, as soon as we walked out of the elevator we were met with a long corridor with 4 visible doors. We made our way to the first door on the left, room #2200. I watched Sorelli punch in a couple of numbers and watched the door open. Sorelli and I walked in to find a beautiful apartment. As soon as we walked in I noticed we were inside of a small foyer area before entering the living room. On the left side of the living room was a large kitchen. On the right side of the living room, I noticed a door which led to a decent sized bathroom and another door which led to a small storage area. In between the living room and kitchen stood a wooden spiral staircase. Sorelli and I made our way up and found another small corridor with 4 doors. On the first door to the left I spotted the master bedroom with a bathroom larger than the one downstairs and a decent sized walk-in closet. On the first door to the right was another bedroom which was slightly smaller, I could use this room for Bianca. There was another door on the other side of the second bedroom which I later found out was for more storage. The door next to my bedroom door was another decent sized bathroom. "Soo, what do you think," asked Sorelli as we made our way out of the building. "It is absolutely perfect. I love it!"

We made our way to the nearest cafe and stopped for lunch. We had a couple of cups of tea and enjoyed a nice meal together before heading back to the company. On the drive back Sorelli told me about her years working at Destler LLC. Mr. Destler seems to have helped her and her husband, Theodore a lot. Sorelli told me how good friends Theodore and Mr. Destler have become. Sorelli made it seem as though Mr. Destler is indeed a great man. I hope that with time, I may come to know Mr. Destler just as Sorelli has gotten to do so.

We arrived at Destler LLC in only a couple of minutes. Sorelli and I made our way to the top floor of the building quickly to continue my training. "Alright, now that we are back let's get this show on the road," said Sorelli. I sat down at the desk with Sorelli joining next to me. "I taught you how to use the computer. Find and locate meetings, appointments, and people on the system. I think I even taught you where to locate the best hotels for Mr. Destler, is that right," she asked. I gave her a small nod to show that I had indeed learned this from her. "Alright! Let's move on to everyday life at the office, other than meetings and appointments Mr. Destler likes things done a certain way. Buckle up, Christine. We've got a lot to learn."

I quickly straightened up in my seat. "Mr. Deslter comes in very early in the morning. Don't be surprised if he comes in before you, he likes to get an early start on the day. Once you come in, make sure to get him a coffee as soon as you get her. He likes his coffee with milk and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Mr. Deslter sometimes gets very engrossed in his work and needs to be reminded to eat something, so around noon please make sure you head in there and bring him something to eat. At the end of your shift, try to let him know you will be going home. He usually doesn't stay much longer after I leave." So, I'm basically here to babysit him? I thought to myself. "When traveling out of the country or state, Mr. Destler will send you a strict itinerary that you must be sure to follow. Mr. Destler despises tardiness so whatever may be on the itinerary, try to be early at all times."

After a while, Sorelli and I were finishing up when a voice came from behind us. "How was the final day of training," asked Mr. Destler. Sorelli looked up at him with a big smile on her face, "It went great, Erik. I think she is ready to work on her own!" Mr. Destler looked towards me, giving me a silent questioning look, as if asking me if that were true. I nodded, "I think I've got almost everything down, sir." He gave me a small grin, which made him look extremely attractive as opposed to his usual lack of expression. "Very well, you guys are free to go whenever you'd like." Before he could make it to the glass doors behind my desk he turned around, "Oh! Before I forget, Ms. Daae. You have no need of transporting your items to your new apartment. I took the liberty of hiring a team to do it today. You should be able to settle into your apartment tonight." "Thank you very much Mr. Destler. You certainly didn't need to do that. I really appreciate it," I said as my face surely turned bright pink. "It's no problem at all, Ms. Daae. Let me know if there's anything else you need. If there's anything wrong with the apartment or the car you go ahead and give me a call, or text, I'll be sure to take care of it right away." With that said, he disappeared through the glass doors. God, he is such an amazing man. How will I ever be able to do my job now that I've developed a tiny crush… on my BOSS!
