Fitz's intentions were never to hurt Olivia, but being the other man wasn't something he could see himself being any longer. At first, he was fine with it because Olivia's the love of his life and he was willing to do anything for her but knowing that she was still being intimate with Jake really enraged him.
She had definitely crossed a line and it's why he had to end the affair. But he knew once she came to her senses and realized that he's the only man she need, he'd be waiting for her.
Right now, he was just teaching her a hard lesson.

Fitz got dressed and when he came out of the room, Olivia was nowhere to be found. He felt a tug at his heart but he headed to soundcheck for his concert anyway. Olivia was still on his mind heavily but he had to push through anyway, his fans deserved his best performance no matter what was going on in his personal life.
During his entire soundcheck he sang from his heart, nearly every song reminded him of her and everyone in the room could feel his energy as he sung the lyrics.
Once things wrapped up on stage, Cyrus came over and clapped Fitz's back. "Fitz, you are singing like somebody took your woman. I can hear something different in your voice, what's going on," he asked only jokingly.
"Man, there's just a lot on my mind right now," Fitz answered solemnly. Cyrus then realized that the situation was more serious than he thought. "Oh, c'mon now, buddy. I've known you for too long for you to give me that. Tell me what's going on," Cyrus said.
In Fitz's dressing, they both sat down as Fitz explained everything that's been happening between him and Olivia since the night of the party.
Cyrus blew out his breathe and shook his head. "Shit! I knew it. When I saw you and Liv getting cozy at that party I knew you two were going to get into something that night."
"Yeah, and I regret it man. I should've just left her alone. Word of advice brother, never mess around with married people, they're no good." Fitz chuckled. He and Cyrus both knew he was just shit talking and not being serious. He didn't regret anything.
"Fitz, you're my boy, but I know if Olivia was to come in right now and throw herself at you, you would most definitely fall for it, buddy."
Fitz chuckled again as he shrugged. "I can't even argue with that, Cy. You know I probably would. I love her. She is the love of my life, but I can't continue allowing her to play with my feelings. I just want to be all in with her, y'know." Fitz expressed.
Damn, he wished he could have a scotch right now, but he refused to drink the day of his concerts. He wanted his voice to be at its best.
"Fitz, if that's the case, then you should fight for your woman. If you really love Liv like you say you do, then make her yours. Hell, we all know Jake's been messing around on Olivia since the beginning."
Fitz nodded in agreement. It's one of the many reasons he was so angry about their engagement. He knew Jake wasn't shit. "Yeah, but that isn't my place, Cy. She's only with him because of their kids and that's a personal issue she's gonna have to deal with on her own. I can't make her choose."
"Come on. Allow me to buy you a bite to eat." Fitz and Cyrus headed out to a restaurant soon after. They talked more about his situation with Olivia over some good ole soul food. Something Olivia had introduced them into years ago and anytime they were in the south, they just had to have it.
After their meal, they left to get some rest; they knew the time for the concert was going to come quick and it was going to be a long night.

After the concert, Fitz, Cyrus and a few members of the band went out for drinks at a private social club to celebrate another successful night in ATL.
Fitz was feeling good after the few drinks he had been desperately craving. He wasn't too intoxicated, but he was mellowed out. Exactly where he needed to be after today's events.
And though it felt good to be out with the guys, he just wasn't in the mood. He then decided to call himself an uber and end the night early. "Fellas, I'm gonna throw in the towel early!" Fitz shouted over the music.
"Be safe buddy, we'll see you tomorrow!"
Fitz was notified when his ride arrived outside. He relaxed in the backseat as the young fella drove, and when he arrived at the hotel, he tipped big for the smooth and quiet ride back. "Have a goodnight," the young man smiled, looking at the wad of cash in his hand.
"You too," Fitz said, climbing out of the vehicle.
Once Fitz made it up to his room, he immediately headed for his medicine bag and took a goody's hangover relief powder so he wouldn't feel any affects of the alcohol in the morning. After that, he had a cool shower then dressed for bed. When his head finally hit the pillow at the three in the morning, he was out like a light soon after.
But even in his sleep, he was missing Olivia.
Sorry this was so short! I hope you enjoyed nonetheless!
Buckle up for the next chapter!!! It's juicy!
