EPISODE 13 – THE BUG COLLECTORS' DREAM!
INTRO: Team Heroes and friends got sidetracked due to Team EXO attacking some farms, stealing produce, and ruining the Farmers' Market. Thanks to Violette and her Pokémon's courage, Team Heroes and friends were able to stop Team EXO, recover the stolen produce, and save the day. Team Heroes made new friends, Violette and Squarrel, while Bee got the chance to reconnect with her cousin. Adam, who needed berries for his family's restaurant, failed to complete his task, but his grandpa showed up and understood why. Team Heroes were eager to get to the gym before it closed, so Violette and her Pokémon volunteered to take them there; she wanted to watch her first gym team battle and so did Bee and Adam. They all rushed to the gym together...
[Entomo Town/Entomo Gym & Insectarium/Thursday Afternoon]
"Wait up, cousin!" whined Bee after chasing Violette down the main street, "geez…you are fast!"
"so…can we rest for a minute? Kittime seems a bit stressed; it may need something to eat!" explained Adam after catching up to Bee and Violette; he fed a bread roll to Kittime.
"FINE! Let's regroup and take a quick minute!" Violette looked at her smartphone, "If I'm not mistaken, the gym should still be open until 6 P.M. I think…"
"Is everything good, Violette?" wondered Belen; she drank some water from her bottle, "Are we going to make it in time?" Everyone regrouped.
"Why is the main street so busy and what's that weird looking kind of like a dome building over there…" wondered Johnny; he surveyed the area.
"Do you really know where the gym is, Violette?" asked Francis; he was getting desperate.
"YOU BET, silly!" Violette pointed at the weird dome greenhouse building close to them, "There! That's Entomo's famous Insectarium!"
"Insectarium?!" everyone stared at the building curiously; they walked towards that direction.
"The gym is inside here! There is also a small museum and a café attached to the whole building!" explained Violette and Squarrel.
"I just remember that this place is simply marvelous!" confessed Bee, "And I've been here before; I just realized we were coming to THIS gym…"
"Why are so many school buses in the parking lot, guys?" pondered Josh and Adam.
"Not sure! But let's go to the reception and ask!" suggested Violette.
"DOPE! Team, we can finally earn our first gym badge and perhaps surpass Marcus and his team!" Francis was excited and eager to enter, "Are you guys, ready?!"
"WE ARE!" The Mezza siblings were ecstatic; Team Heroes entered the building and the others followed behind.
"WELCOME!" said an old woman from behind the reception desk, "How can I help you?"
"Hello! My name is Francis and this is my team, Belen and Johnny!" stated Francis, "We're Team Heroes and we're here to earn our first gym badge!"
"EXCELLENT! I am glad that you chose Entomo Gym to obtain your first gym badge, Team Heroes, but…" she paused and looked at her computer's clock, "you see, today we have an all-day event for all the schools in Entomo Town to come visit, check out the bug collectors' especial exhibition, and tour the facilities for FREE!" She handed pamphlets to everyone.
"That explains it!" said Josh and Adam collectively.
"That means no gym challenges are accepted today…our very own gym leader is busy with the event and so is all her staff! I am very sorry, younglings…" apologized the receptionist, "AH! WATCH OUT!"
"TAKE COVER!" screamed a kid from down the hall.
"UH?!" Everyone freaked out and took cover.
- ZZZOOOOM! BUMP! – A frisbee flew by, collided against a flower vase, which was located at the reception counter, and the vase fell to the floor – CRASH! -
"What the…" Everyone was confused and looking around, "What was that…"
"My favorite vase! NO!" cried the receptionist; she came around to check the horrible scene.
A kid approached the scene and his Pokémon popped out of nowhere, "OH-oh…" the kid covered his mouth in surprised.
"SPIDER! MANTOTO!" yelled the receptionist; she approached the kid and his Pokémon, "How many times do I have to tell YOU?! NO PLAYING INSIDE THE PREMISES!"
The kid, with baby dolled eyes on his face while his Pokémon copied him, said, "WE'RE SORRY, Mrs. JOJO! We did not mean to break your vase; we swear!" He collected his toy and then they both began to pick up the vase's pieces off the floor.
"I know you probably didn't mean to break anything, but you're still not obeying the rules and listening to your elders…" Mrs. JoJo brought a broom and dustpan from a nearby closet, "I told you clearly that you shouldn't play inside the facilities, Spider, especially when we have guests…you need to learn how to listen and learn…I…I still have to report this to your parents…"
"BUT WE'RE BORED AND CONFUSED!" yelled Spider with tears on his eyes; his Pokémon mimicked, "NOBODY WANTS TO PLAY WITH US!"
"UH?!" Mrs. JoJo and everyone else were shocked.
"We wanna go to the Insectarium and play with the other Pokémon…but…but my mom told me to stay inside and stay away from the Gym and Insectarium until my grandparents are finished with the last tour of the day BUT-BUT then YOU tell us to go play outside and stay away from here?! WE'RE SO CONFUSED! AND WE'RE BORED!"
Mrs. JoJo got very worried; nonetheless, she smiled and comforted Spider, "I am sorry you feel that way, honey…I understand how hard it must be for you to be on your own most of the time after you come back from school…it must be difficult dealing with super busy parents and super busy grandparents, but you still have to obey the rules and try to behave your best, kiddo…I know you're a good, sweet, and well-behaved kid, Spider…" Mrs. JoJo took out two chocolate bars from one of her desk's drawers…
"Choco-chu bars? For US?!" Spider and his Pokémon were jumping in joy and cheered up.
"Now-now…" Mrs. JoJo held the bars for a minute, "You both have to apologize to these youngsters first, for almost hitting one of them in the head with your toy!"
Team Heroes and friends were waiting for the receptionist's undivided attention, but Spider had intervened, "It's okay…we're all okay…we just need to…"
"I'M SORRY, BUT HE NEEDS TO SHOW SOME RESPECT!" corrected and guided Mrs. JoJo, "Go on, Spider…Mantoto…say you're sorry…"
Spider and his Pokémon approached Team Heroes and friends; they bowed apologetically, "WE'RE VERY SORRY! FORGIVE US, PLEASE!"
"YEAH! All is forgiven!" Team Heroes and friends smiled; they felt a bit bad for the kid's loneliness and wanting attention, "thanks for the apology, though!"
"SO COOL! That's a terrific Mantoto you got there, buddy! Mind if I say hi?" asked Josh.
"EH?!" Spider seemed baffled, "But my Mantoto…Mantoto, is that okay with you? I mean, I know you only let ME get close to you, but…"
"TOTO! TOTO!" Mantoto jumped up and down and then began hopping around Josh in circles.
"That's…a bug-type Pokémon, for sure…I just need to distance myself for now…" whispered Belen while taking refuge behind her brother.
"Don't be scared, sis…it's just a little hopping bug-type Pokémon…" mocked Johnny.
"What's this Pokémon, anyways?" Francis pulled out his smartphone, activated the PokeDEX App, and scanned...

053) Mantoto – The Hopping Pokémon [BUG]
"Mantoto are gentle, stealth, and social bug-type Pokémon that enjoy hopping from one place to another, either in pairs or in groups; they prefer grassy terrains, flower fields, or sometimes deep woods. They feed mostly on herbs found in the wilderness, but their favorite herb of all time is the Jolly Mint, which raises their speed and special attack very significantly, especially add muscles to their legs. It is known that the Mantoto with the strongest looking legs are the fastest, the most agile, and can jump as high as 50 ft."

Spider witnessed how his Mantoto trusted Josh, Team Heroes, and friends so quickly; he was very puzzled as he had never seen his Mantoto play with other kids, "Mantoto, are you feeling okay?"
"TOTO! TOTO! MANTOTO!" Mantoto began chasing after Josh; Kittime joined Josh and they both began to run away from Mantoto as a game.
"It seems we are not going to have a gym battle today, guys…" Francis looked disappointed.
"Yeah…according to this pamphlet, the event ends around dusk and then all activities are finished for the day…" read Belen out loud.
"Does that mean we are not going to get our badges today?" asked Johnny.
"It appears so…right now, they're having an exhibition on bug-type Pokémon at the museum here…I have goosebumps, e-hem…BUT it might end soon…" explained Belen.
"I'm sorry you can't challenge the gym and obtain your first gym badge today, guys…," said Violette.
"That blows! I really wanted to see you guys in action!" expressed Adam.
"I also wanted to see you guys battle! I'm sorry, Team Heroes…" expressed Bee.
"It's all cool…it's nobody's fault we got tangled up in other situations…but I really wanted to challenge the gym today...or at least meet the gym leader..." confessed Francis.
Spider had overheard everything, "WELL…We can join the last school group that's about to tour the Insectarium…my grandparents will be there and maybe…maybe you can meet them…"
"UH?!" Team Heroes and friends paused and thought about Spider's proposal.
"What do you mean, kid?" asked Francis.
"My name is Spider! I'm a Pokémon trainer and I'm kind of the supervisor around here as well…"
"Hi, Spider…" Team Heroes and friends greeted.
"Since Mantoto really likes you, guys…I guess you all can join us in our expedition to the Insectarium!" explained Spider, "My grandpa and grandma are probably done at the museum so they may be heading to the Insectarium with the last group in order to tour the facilities…"
"What are you saying? We can all go to the Insectarium and join the tour?!" wondered Belen and Johnny.
"If you really want to…I'm not going to tell you guys what to do, but…you simply won't be able to challenge the gym at all today, so…what are you guys going to do?" Spider picked up Mantoto and began to walk down the hall, away from the reception, "We know a fast way to get there…"
"UH? They're leaving, guys! What should we do?!" Francis was confused, but he really wanted to check out the place and meet the gym leader; he wants to know what and who they're up against.
"I mean…we're already here…" suggested Johnny.
"Do you think we would get in trouble? They're not allowing any challengers today…" claimed Bee while waiting for the group's choice.
"We are students one way or another…we want to learn about bug-type Pokémon anyways…" explained Violette; Bee agreed.
"If…if we go with them…we would have at least someone they know on our side…the…the worst that can happen is for them to kick us out…either way, we have to come back tomorrow…" stated Adam while playing with his fingers nervously.
"RIGHT!" Francis signaled his friends to chase after Spider and Mantoto, "Let's go guys! Let's join Spider and Mantoto and check out the Insectarium!" Francis ran after Spider and he caught up; the rest of them followed suit and they were all behind the kid, who was leading the group.
Meanwhile…
Using a megaphone, a tall, vigorous, pearly skin, jet black brunette, middle-aged man spoke, "Listen up, guests! Now we are all going to proceed to the Insectarium where the especial exhibition is located!"
Students, teachers, and teachers' guests were paying attention. All of them were inside Entomo Gym where the presentation took place but it had ended. This was the last school group for the day.
"Excuse me, Mr. Beatles, but where are we heading now?" asked one of the teachers' captains to make sure everyone was informed and on the same page.
"For you, miss, I am Beckett! And we are all going to the Insectarium where my wife is ready to present our special exhibition of Bug-type Pokémon we have caught recently…"
"Oh, wow! I can't wait to see what kind of Pokémon our famous bug collectors have to show!"
"Let's go! Tell everyone we're all ready for you! This way, please!" Beckett showed the way.
"ALRIGHT, EVERYONE! Let's follow Mr. Beatles to the Insectarium!" directed the teachers' captain.
Two suspicious looking individuals wearing the school's uniform were checking out the gym area, the corridors, the halls, and the exits. They got very distracted and hadn't noticed the school group leaving. They were among the teachers' guests and had arrived with all of them, or so it seems.
"HEY YOU TWO! Hurry up!" yelled one of the teachers.
"YES, MA'AM!" The two individuals began to make their way to the group slowly and watching everything around.
"This whole building is huge! I cannot believe we just made it to the gym!" expressed Violette and Bee, "Like, 30 minutes later…"
"Well, we did stop at the café to get some frozen coffees…" Adam was shy; he slurped some of his frozen coffee and gave Kittime some.
"We also got distracted at the museum, but it was worth it!" Belen was excited and calmed, she whispered to herself, "we haven't seen a Bug-type Pokémon so we're good…"
Johnny was sipping frozen coffee, "This stuff is awesome! And the museum was "meh!""
"The museum rocked! I got me a Bug-type Pokémon Book and a pencil shaped as a Mantoto!" Josh was skipping, "can't wait to come back!"
"Yeah, yeah, we need to hurry up if you want to catch up to my grandparents! I can't believe you made us go thru the whole circle instead of going the fastest way we know!" complained Spider; his Mantoto seemed a bit upset as well.
"Are we far from the Insectarium, Spider?" asked eager Francis; he couldn't wait to meet the gym leader and learn more about the gym and the gym battle.
"Eh? Actually, no…we can make it in time this way, guys!" Spider pointed the way and began to run; his Mantoto jumped on his back and hold onto.
"Common, team! Everyone! Let's make it to the exhibition and check out the gym leader!" Francis directed his friends and chased after Spider.
All of them followed Spider; after running and walking thru the offices of the main building, Spider noticed two people he had never seen before walked out of an office; they were wearing school uniforms, "Hey! Hello, who are you?!" shouted Spider.
"EH?!" The two individuals flinched for a minute; they signaled to Spider and company that they had gotten lost, but then they pretended to find an exit and fled, "Sorry, excuse us!"
Spider, Mantoto, and everyone else were confused, "What was all that about?"
"What's the matter, buddy?" wondered Francis.
"Those people had bad energy!" confessed Spider and Mantoto agreed.
"UH? What are you talking about?" Belen and Johnny were concerned.
"Let's hurry! We need to find my grandparents!" Spider and Mantoto hurried and took everyone to the Insectarium.
"Right! Let's go!" Everyone followed suit.
"Welcome, everyone! My name is Butterfly Beatles and over there with the megaphone is my husband, Beckett Beatles!" introduced a charismatic, beautiful, olive skin, blond, middle-aged woman as she pointed at her husband.
"HELLO!" waved Beckett to the group.
"We are Entomo's most illustrious Bug Collectors!" smiled Butterfly, "But we are also Pokémon trainers, breeders, and biologists!"
"WOW!" the crowd applauded and became more excited.
"Today, we're showing you guys our newest Pokémon additions, plus tell you all about these guys!" explained Butterfly, "We will educate y'all about Bug-type Pokémon while letting you all meet our own Pokémon that live here in our beautiful Insectarium!"
Beckett joined his wife and both made their unique and famous Bug Collectors' camera poses that everyone knew and loved so much; the crowd took out their phones and cameras and took pictures. They cheered and screamed wildly, but the loudest were mostly students who are Bug-type Pokémon trainers; some began to ask for autographs.
The two suspicious individuals that were wondering around suddenly joined the group but camouflaged themselves within the crowd, while Spider, Mantoto, and the rest of them arrived as well and got close to the main stage, where Beckett and Butterfly were; they waved hello and waited for them…
"Grandson! Mantoto! What are you guys doing here?" whispered Beckett while keeping his composure.
"Yeah…we told you to stay inside and we will have dinner together after work, honey…" said Butterfly.
"I know! I know!" Spider and Mantoto met with his grandparents and with baby doll eyes said, "But I helped these guests make their way here so they wouldn't miss your special exhibition…I thought Mantoto and I could help…after all, you taught me to help anyone that needs help…"
Beckett and Butterfly dismissed their fans and told everyone to wait for a moment, "Oh kiddo, you are an angel!" They hugged Spider.
Team Heroes and friends got even closer to the stage and they were able to finally meet Spider's grandparents, who also happened to be…
"UNCLE! AUNT!" shouted Bee and Violette.
"WHAT?!" Team Heroes and Adam were shocked.
Beckett and Butterfly stood up and walked towards Team Heroes and friends; they were able to recognize their nieces, Bee and Violette…after all, Irving is Beckett's younger brother and Ladybird is their little sister, Beckett is the oldest… "What a surprise! What a small world!"
Bee and Violette hugged their uncle and aunt, who they haven't seen in years…mostly because they travel all the time and have lived overseas most times; now, they had moved back to Entomo Town and settled, "It's been years! What are you doing here?!"
"Years, you say…" Butterfly scratched her head, "I guess you're right, dolls…"
"Last time we saw you two was at the family's holiday party! Bee was seven and Violette was eight…" recalled Beckett; he was happy to see his nieces.
"So, we're related?!" Spider and Mantoto were astonished to learn such truth.
"Oh, yeah…you haven't met our grandson Spider before, have you?" asked Butterfly.
"Grandson?" Bee and Violette seemed confused.
"Our oldest daughter, Rhene, got married and had this little boy about three years before we last saw you…" shared Beckett, "They were living in Kanto and needed our help raising their kids so we would travel back and forth much…we had to move back because our family business here was declining and needed our full attention…Rhene and her husband Zachary moved back to Entomo Town to help US with the family business; Zachary is a Technical Director and our Rhene handles all things management here, but she's away on a business trip and had asked us to watch Spider and Pax…"
"Rhene used to babysit the two of you…sometimes separately or somethings together…you probably remember her when you think extravagant flashy dresses; she had been wearing those since her senior year in High School…oh the memories…" Butterfly was inspired and nostalgic.
"OH! HER!" Bee and Violette finally remembered. Team Heroes and Adam were paying attention.
"Excuse, us!" Two teachers' captains approached Beckett and Butterfly, "Are we going to start the exhibition soon, Mr. and Mrs. Beatles, or can the group go to the café and get refreshments? They are getting a bit hungry and thirsty…"
"OH YEAH! THE EXHIBITION!" Beckett and Butterfly focused and let the captains know that in ten minutes everything will begin.
"It's very nice to catch up, but let's do this after our presentation, shall we?" expressed Butterfly.
"That's a splendid idea! We can all have dinner together!" Beckett was thrilled.
"Of course! Can't wait to talk more!" Bee and Violette agreed; they met with Team Heroes and Adam and they all left the stage; they found a place to watch the presentation.
"Grandma! Grandpa!" Spider and Mantoto needed to talk.
"Honey, go join your cousins and wait for us, please?" asked Butterfly.
"Yeah, kiddo…we need to finish our job! Go stand with them, please!" directed Beckett.
"There's something important we need to tell you NOW!" shouted Spider.
Beckett and Butterfly paused and approached their grandson, "What is it, Spider? Tell us…"
"We saw two suspicious students leave one of the main offices, early…" told Spider.
"WHAT?" Beckett and Butterfly looked at each other if disbelief.
"To be honest, these guys looked like adults in school uniforms! There's no way they were high school students!" blurted Spider to Mantoto.
"Did you get the chance to see their faces? And did they steal or vandalize anything?" asked Beckett.
"No, because as we were approaching them, they left in a hurry and disappeared…" explained Spider, "But they came over here! They're among the crowd!"
"Is that so?" Beckett and Butterfly looked around and were making decisions; they knew that their grandson wouldn't lie about anything like that and they knew they have precious objects and treasures around, but mostly inside their museum…
"You're a great kid! You are also great, Mantoto! Thanks for keeping an eye around here!" Beckett was proud of Spider and his Pokémon.
"This is what we're going to do…Spider, join your cousins and friends; being with them will be safe while your grandpa and I take care of things…" directed Butterfly, "You're great, honey!" she kissed Spider on the forehead and dismissed him; Spider and Mantoto joined Team Heroes.
"You're the best giving presentations, sweetheart, so why don't I go take a look around the offices and check if everything in the safe is accounted for…" Beckett was serious and determined.
"Alrighty, I will act as if nothing is happening until we have proof and we can identify these individuals…besides, I have my Pokémon with me!" Butterfly wished her husband good luck and dismissed him; she began the presentation.
"WITHOUT FURTHER ADO…I, BUTTERFLY BEATLES, YOUR BUG COLLECTOR INTRODUCE…" Butterfly took four pokeballs out of her pants' pockets, "Common out, Roacharacha! Venorpion! Our four new friends!"
"ROACH! ROACH! RACHA!" Both Roacharacha greeted the crowd and began posing; they had rehearsed prior to the exhibition.
"VENO! VENO! VENORPION!" Both Venorpion crawled around the group saying hello to anyone who dared to meet their eyes.
"Wow! All those Pokémon are SO COOL!" Josh and Adam were admiring the Pokémon.
"YIKES! Better close my eyes…get into my comfort zone…" whispered Belen and she hid behind Johnny.
"Awesome! They have both female and male versions of both Roacharacha and Venorpion!" admired Johnny.
"Yet they're so unique and different! They may have similarities, but we can tell which one is which…" expressed Francis; he was fascinated by such Pokémon.
"They're wicked cool!" Bee and Violette smiled, "I wonder what other Pokémon our uncle and aunt have!"
"The Insectarium is enormous and my grandparents have many Pokémon living here!" shared Spider, but Mantoto was sensing something…
"ROACH! ROACH! ROACHARACHA!" whined both Roacharacha; "VENO! VENO! VENORPION!" complained Venorpion; all of them had been captured with a special net by two students…
"WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING?!" shouted Butterfly; she was shocked.
"HEY! WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH YOU TWO?!" yelled Spider.
"WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?!" wondered Team Heroes and the rest. The crowd was petrified and surprised; they feared the worst.
The two students paused, then maniacally giggled, and laughed, and then rip apart their school uniforms, revealing their true identities...

"TEAM EXO‼" shouted Team Heroes, Bee, and Violette. Spider was baffled; Butterfly was a bit nervous and looking around to make sure everyone is okay.
"What kind of scheme are you guys pulling this time?!" demanded Francis to know.
"How dare you use that tone of voice with us!" whined Artemis, "Don't you know who we are?!"
"You're the bad guys!" shouted Belen and Josh.
"Besides, it is none of your business!" affirmed Charon, "Let's just say we came here for these four and now we'll be in our way!" Charon took out a smoke bomb from his pockets and threw it to the crowd.
"AAAHHH!" People panicked, some exited the Insectarium, and some took cover. Team Heroes and friends were vigilant, took cover, and remained together, but then…
"My Pokémon! I can't let you take them away from me!" Butterfly began chasing after Team EXO, who were riding an all-terrain golf cart with the Pokémon they've stolen in the back; the cart wasn't that fast but it was going at least fifteen miles per hour. They were heading for the Insectarium's back exit.
"GUYS! LET'S HELP!" Francis took off, "SHE CAN'T DEAL WITH THOSE GUYS BY HERSELF, COMMON!"
Belen, Johnny, and Josh followed Francis; Bee and the rest stayed at the Insectarium as instructed by Francis; he had told them to stay hidden but vigilant until they come back with Butterfly; they agreed, but Spider seem antsy.
"Something's not right…" Spider and Mantoto couldn't stay put, "We have to check on grandpa! We must get grandpa to help grandma too! Common!" Spider picked Mantoto and rushed towards the offices.
"WAIT! Spider! Mantoto!" Bee and Violette got worried; they didn't know what to do.
"What if there's more Team EXO grunts around, guys?" Adam was anxious, his Kittime was sad, "Do you think your little cousin can handle Team EXO guys?"
"NO! We must go help them!" Bee and Violette took off and chased after Spider and Mantoto; Adam and Kittime followed behind.
"I NEED YOUR HELP, GO!" Butterfly threw a pokeball and a Mosking was released.
"MOSK! KING! KING! MOSKING!" Butterfly's Pokémon greeted her and was ready.
"USE SLUDGE BOMB AND STOP THAT CART!" directed Butterfly.
Mosking used Sludge Bomb; it was able to hit the golf cart's back tires, which deflated and threw Team EXO off course; they crashed against a tree, but the Pokémon were okay.
"Mosking, use Steel Wing and release our friends from that nasty net!" commanded Butterfly; her Mosking use Steel Wing, but was stopped by Artemis…
"GO, CAMELURK!" Artemis released her Camelurk, "USE ROCK TOMB AND STOP THAT PESKY GIANT FLY!" Camelurk used Rock Tomb and countered Mosking.
Team Heroes finally caught up with Butterfly; she was battling Artemis and then Charon joined his teammate.
"GO, CHIROP! LET'S GET RID OF THEM!" Charon released his Chirop, "USE AIR CUTTER!"
"Mosking, dodge that Air Cutter and hit them with your Aerial Ace!" guided Butterfly; Mosking avoided Camelurk and Chirop's attacks and then used its Aerial Ace attack to stop them; it was effective.
"CAMELURK!" "CHI! ROP! ROP!" cried Team EXO's Pokémon.
"OH YEAH?!" Artemis and Charon got annoyed; "I think is time to release the Pokémon our captains let us borrow just in case, don't you think?!" said Artemis; "I think you're right! We need to go back to HQ with these Roacharacha and Venorpion or else!" affirmed Charon; they threw two pokeballs out in the battlefield and two Waspeking appeared.
"BZZZ! BZZZ! WASP!" The Waspeking were waiting for orders; Team EXO giggled.
"Four against one? You really are the bad guys!" Butterfly kept her composure, but she was a bit nervous; she only brought her Mosking and left her bag back at the Insectarium; she began planning a strategy in her head, but then Team Heroes finally caught up to her…
"MRS. BEATLES!" Team Heroes approached Butterfly; she got relieved.
"KIDS! What are you doing here?!" pondered Butterfly while keeping her guard up.
"We came to help!" expressed Francis, "They never play by the battle rules, Mrs. Beatles! Help us out, Markitty!" Francis released his Markitty, "MAR! MEOW! MEOW!"
"We battled these guys before and we know how evil and cheaters they can be!" commented Belen, "Chickleaf! Let's help too!" Belen released her Chickleaf, "CHICK! CHICK! CHICK!"
"We're a team, so we have to help each other out! Rodemart, come out and help, lil guy!" Johnny released his Rodemart, "RODE! RODE! RODEMART!"
"Now is four against four! I think that's fair!" said Josh; he was keeping his distance.
"YOU AGAIN! Why do you insist in meddling in our affairs?!" complained Artemis.
"IT'S PAYBACK TIME! YOU OWE US FROM LAST TIME!" shouted Charon.
"WAIT A SECOND!" yelled Josh confused.
"UH? What's the matter, Josh?" wondered Team Heroes; Butterfly was puzzled too.
"Where is your talking pet? The one that always hangs out with you? What Pokémon was it…" wondered Josh as he was thinking very deeply.
"Oh yeah…you're thinking about Moonlix, bro!" said Francis.
"Moonlix! Yes!" agreed Belen and Johnny.
"Yeah, where is Moonlix?!" asked Josh.
"SUNLIX! You idiots! You're talking about SUNLIX!" yelled Artemis and Charon madly.
"Where's Sunlix?!" asked everyone.
Artemis and Charon looked at each other and grinned; they giggle maniacally and acted very suspicious, "Sunlix's around…doing the other part of today's mission…we are sure that he was able to retrieve the artifacts and is probably making his way out…"
"WHAT?" everyone was confused.
"Retrieve the artifacts…are they talking about the…" whispered Butterfly and then she realized, "The museum!"
Team EXO laughed, "There's nothing you can do! We are here and you can't stop us!"
Team Heroes and Butterfly stared at each other and got worried; they were thinking of ways to help, but they needed to stop Team EXO first in order to get to the museum, but Butterfly was calmed; she sent a text to her husband using her AirWatch.
"I know you're here! Show yourself!" shouted Beckett; he got his wife's text and was on the lookout; he investigated the main offices, and everything was in order, except that the museum's blueprints had disappeared; he figured whoever stole the blueprints needed them to access parts of the museum, so he came to check it out… "Let's be ready for anything! I need my partner!" Beckett took a pokeball out and threw it, "Help me, Flamtis!"
"TIZZ! TIZZ! FLAMTIZZ!" Flamtis illuminated the area with its fiery glowing wings.
"Flamtis! I know you know where the enemy is…use Flame Wheel!" Flamtis used Flame Wheel and moved towards a Pokémon statue close to the museum's entrance.
"COUNTER!" Sunlix used Counter and prevented Flamtis to touch it.
"WHAT POKEMON ARE YOU? WHAT DO YOU WANT?" demanded Beckett to know, "UH? WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT?" he noticed Sunlix holding a gem.
"I AM SUNLIX!" yelled Sunlix.
Beckett was shocked; he was speechless for a minute but then recovered, "You can talk?!"
"What does it look like I'm doing here? Making faces?!" Sunlix got annoyed, "I already have what I want! I only need to go back and get my teammates!"
"So, you are the people my grandson told me about!" said Beckett.
"I guess we are! But you don't need to worry about us, you won't remember a thing once I'm done with you!" Sunlix tried to use Psychic on Beckett, but then…
"MANTOTO, USE FURY CUTTER!" Mantoto used Fury Cutter and scratched Sunlix in the face.
"ARGH! WHAT THE HECK?!" complained Sunlix and lost focus.
"SPIDER! MANTOTO! What are you doing here?!" Beckett hugged his grandson.
"Grandpa! We came to check on you!" Spider was relieved, "We also came to tell you that Grandma's Pokémon were stolen from her, but she went to get them back with the help of Team Heroes…"
"Is that so…well, if she went to go get them back, I am a hundred percent sure she'll rescue them…and even better if Team Heroes is helping her…"
"UNCLE! SPIDER!" Bee and Violette caught up to Spider and Mantoto; Adam and Kittime were just right behind them.
"KIDS! You all came!" Beckett was surprised yet happy to see them all alright.
"UGH! And here I thought I could easily get rid of the old man and his chargrilled bug, but these brats had to show up!" Sunlix was planning something.
"I am okay! I am happy you worry about me…" said Beckett to his family, "But you have to let me handle this situation on my own for now; it's best of you stay behind me and let me deal with this guy!"
"Understood!" Bee, Violette, Spider, and Adam let Beckett handle Sunlix.
"Flamtis, how about another Flame Wheel but don't miss this time!" Beckett guided Flamtis and Flamtis used Flame Wheel.
"ARGH! I won't let you touch me!" Sunlix used Psychic on Flamtis, and Flamtis missed.
"It's okay, buddy!" encouraged Beckett, "Let's try a X-Scissors attack this time!"
Flamtis used X-Scissors on Sunlix, but Sunlix used Counter; it dealt some damage to Flamtis, but Sunlix was getting exhausted…
"I can't keep doing this! I need to save my energy to complete this mission…I know!" Sunlix used Psychic on the gem it was holding; it was a Bug Gem.
"What's Sunlix doing?!" Bee and the rest wondered.
"That's one of our Bug Gems! It stole it from a case inside the museum!" explained Beckett.
"What do you think Sunlix is trying to do, Grandpa?!" asked curious Spider.
"I…am…not sure…" Beckett observed Sunlix.
"WITH ALL MY MIND POWER…I CAN CONTROL ANY BUG-TYPE POKEMON THAT'S NEAR ME!" shouted Sunlix proudly.
"WHAT?!" Everyone was shocked.
"AND GUESS WHAT?! FLAMTIS AND MANTOTO ARE BUG -TYPE POKEMON!" Sunlix cackled maniacally.
"OH-NO! My partner!" Beckett thought quick and recalled his Pokémon, "Come back…AH!"
"NOT SO FAST!" Sunlix used Psychic on Flamtis and controlled it, "FLAMTIS! COME TO ME!" Flamtis jumped and got next to Sunlix.
"FLAMTIS!" Beckett got anxious.
"MANTOTO! COME BACK!" Spider tried to recall his Pokémon too, but…
"MANTOTO! I COMMAND YOU TO COME HERE!" Mantoto jumped and got next to Sunlix and Flamtis.
"MANTOTO! NOO!" cried Spider.
"We have to help!" expressed Violette, "We can't let Sunlix do this!"
"You're right! But I'm afraid Bebe might get controlled too!" Bee was nervous and afraid her Pokémon would get hurt.
"You're right, Bee! You just stay close to us and let us handle this!" said Violette.
"Kittime and I can help!" Adam relied on Violette's courage to see this through.
"That's great! Squarrel will help for sure! Come out, my friend! We need you!" Violette released Squarrel.
"RREL! RREL! SQUARREL!" Squarrel was pumped to help out.
"Squarrel! Give Sunlix a kicking! Use High Jump Kick!" directed Violette.
"Mantoto! Use Fury Cutter!" ordered Sunlix thru Psychic; Mantoto used Fury Cutter and countered Squarrel's High Jump Kick.
"Kittime! Use Quick Attack!" directed Adam; Kittime used Quick Attack, but Sunlix was faster.
"Flamtis! Use X-Scissors and deflect Kittime!" ordered Sunlix; Flamtis used X-Scissors, stopped Kittime, and dealt some damage.
"KITTIME!" cried Kittime; Adam caught Kittime on his arms, "Kittime! You, okay?!"
"KIDS! Be careful!" suggested Beckett, "I believe you can stop Sunlix!"
"RIGHT! Let's try again! Squarrel, use High Jump Kick and stop Sunlix!" said Violette.
"Flamtis, counter Squarrel with your X-Scissors attack!" ordered Sunlix and Flamtis was able to stop Squarrel.
"Squarrel! NO!"
"Kittime! Let's try again too! Use Confusion on Sunlix!" directed Adam and Kittime tried to use Confusion but…
"Mantoto! Use Fury Cutter and stop Kittime!" Mantoto used Fury Cutter and hurt Kittime.
"Kittime! Get away!" Adam tried to pull Kittime away from Mantoto.
"THAT'S ENOUGH, SUNLIX!" Bee was upset and did what it needed to be done, believing in her Pokémon with all her heart, "BEBE! USE X-SCISSORS!"
Bebe used X-Scissors on Sunlix, which was caught off guard because it was focused on Squarrel and Kittime's movements, "ARGH! AAHHH!" shrieked Sunlix and let go of the Bug Gem.
"Good job, Bebe!" Bee was proud and so were the others.
"Now, Squarrel! Use High Jump Kick and knockout Sunlix!" directed Violette.
"EH?! I gotta get out of here! I barely have any energy left! TELEPORT!" Using the little Psychic powers it had left, Sunlix teleported himself out of the scene.
"SUNLIX!" Everyone witnessed how Sunlix vanished into thin air.
"MANTOTO!" Spider hugged its Pokémon; Beckett did the same but was getting a bit burnt, "FLAMTIS! MY PARTNER!"
"That was wicked awesome, cousin!" Violette was proud of Bee.
"Yeah! You saved the day, Bee and Bebe!" Adam was glad Kittime was no longer in harm's way.
"It was nothing! I just couldn't stand there and do nothing! Besides, Bebe told me she could never be controlled by such spell due to her royal status!" Bee giggled.
"Are you all alright?" asked Beckett.
"YES! Are you?" wondered Bee and Violette.
"OF COURSE! Thank you all for stepping in and helping as much as you could. You saved my Flamtis and my grandson's Mantoto! We're very grateful!" Beckett was proud.
"Thank you, cousins! And thank you, Adam and Kittime!" said Spider.
"You're all welcome!"
"You three worked as a team! It seemed as if you guys have been friends all your life…" expressed Beckett.
"Uh? Us, three?"
"Yes! You three and your Pokémon!" Beckett hugged his nieces, "You two and your friend Adam made a good team fighting Sunlix together!"
"Grandpa! We should get grandma!" Spider was still worried.
"You're right! We know that Sunlix works with the other ruffians wondering our premises! But I bet your grandma already took care of it!" Beckett was positive.
"Yeah! Specially with Team Heroes by her side!" said Bee and Violette.
"We should check on them regardless! We also need to make sure the students and the rest of our guests are safe! Let's go back to the Insectarium, kids!" directed Beckett; he and the others were making their way to the Insectarium.
"Let's hurry so we can take care of the rest! Mosking, use Aerial Ace and stop those Waspeking!" Butterfly was determined to fix everything fast.
"Chirop, use Bite and stop it!" commanded Charon.
"Camelurk! Use your Rock Tomb on Mosking!" ordered Artemis.
"Not so fast! Markitty, use your water gun! Stop Camelurk!" guided Francis.
"Chickleaf, help! Use Vine Whip on both Camelurk and Chirop!" said Belen.
"Rodemart, lil guy! Do your thing! Use Ember on Chirop!" suggested Johnny.
Markitty, Chickleaf, and Rodemart were able to stop Chirop and Camelurk.
"YEY! Good job!" expressed Team Heroes.
"ZZZ! ZZZ! KING!" both Waspeking were hit; it was super effective!
"Great job, Mosking! I know I can count on you!" said Butterfly.
"ARGH! WHY? WHY? WHY?" whined Team EXO; "Let's try it again! Waspeking, use X-Scissors and defeat that Mosking! NOW!"
"Let's help Mosking, guys!" Francis thought of attacking the Waspeking together and stop them once and for all, "Markitty, use Water Gun!"
"Rodemart, use Ember!"
"Chickleaf, use Vine Whip!"
"Mosking, Aerial Ace once more! You got this!"
"ZZZ! ZZZ! KING!" Waspeking were hit and dealt a lot of damage; they both fainted.
"UH?! WHAT?! How dare you defeat our Waspeking like that!" whined Team EXO.
"It's time we defeat you! Guys, let's attack their Pokémon together again!" guided Francis; everyone followed, but all of the sudden…
"Let's retreat, you two!" shouted Sunlix who appeared out of nowhere.
"Sunlix! What are you doing here?!" Charon and Artemis looked surprised.
"There are more of them and just the three of us! My powers were drained during an encounter I had with one of the Bug Collectors!" explained Sunlix, "I can't go on for today! I'm beat!"
"Understood! Guess we failed this time, but we will succeed on the next mission!" Charon and Artemis recalled their Pokémon and then used two smoke bombs; they escaped, "THOSE BRATS WILL PAY FOR THIS! WE'LL BE BACK!" They got on their golf cart and dropped the Pokémon they've stolen; they know how to pick their battles.
Team Heroes, Butterfly, and their Pokémon were coughing while they had their eyes closed in order to avoid the smoke, but Butterfly said, "Mosking, use your Steel Wing attack and get rid of this smoke, please!" Mosking used Steel Wing and was able to clear the area.
"Thanks, Mosking! You helped me save our new friends!" Butterfly smiled and then directed her partner to use Steel Wing on the net and release Roacharacha and Venorpion. Butterfly was happy, but not calmed yet, "You kids were amazing! Without you, we couldn't have been able to outnumber them and stop them! Thanks, sincerely!"
"YOU'RE WELCOME!" Team Heroes smiled and recalled their Pokémon, "you guys were SUPER! Thanks for your help!" thanked Team Heroes to their partners.
"You guys did great! Once again, you stopped Team EXO!" Josh was proud of his brother and friends, "Team Heroes for life!" Josh giggled.
"You guys are a team?" wondered Butterfly.
"RRROACH! RACH! RACH!" Roacharacha were delighted to be free and back with Butterfly; the Venorpion were ecstatic as well, "PION! PION! VENOM!"
"SO COOL! Your male and female Roacharacha and Venorpion are looking great, Mrs. Beatles!" expressed Josh as he admired the Pokémon.
"Let's see…who are these Pokémon…" Francis was curious to know the difference between both the Roacharacha and Venorpion; Belen and Johnny were too. Francis used his smartphone, activated the PokeDEX APP, and scanned both Venorpion; Belen did the same and scanned both Roacharacha…

043) Venorpion – The Scorpion Pokémon [BUG – POISON (male) / BUG – FAIRY (female)]
"Both Venorpion are territorial and hunters while flying solo, but once they form or belong to a colony, they have different roles: the males, usually keep guard of their burrow, battle any threats, and go hunt for food, usually at night, to supply the whole colony, while the females give birth to their offspring, will take care of them, and carry them until their shell get hard as a rock and they're able to learn some moves. Female Venorpion will also teach their offspring how to fight and survive in the wilderness each one using the best of their abilities. The males have larger tails and claws and their poison sting is venomous while the females' stings are not; they also have darker and tougher exoskeletons than the females; the females are smaller than the males, and have colorful tails and claws, which are used to attract the males."

039) Roacharacha – The Pest Pokémon [BUG – FLYING (male) / BUG – GROUND (female)]
"Roacharacha, although they are friendly, serene, and mostly harmless, are considered a pest in the human world. Primitive Roacharacha lived in the wilderness, mainly deep woods, caves, and wetlands, but as time went by, a lot of Pokémon trainers would encounter them, feed them human food, sometimes caught them, and domesticated them to the point that Roacharacha began to prefer living with humans or amongst humans, and eat human food or waste. Nowadays, is rare to find Roacharacha in the wild; they make cities, towns, abandoned buildings, and underground facilities their home. Males develop functional wings once they learn how to fly, possess bigger antennas than the females, and they are light earthy colored; females prefer to stay on the ground, guarding their nests, burying their leftover food, and building/renovating better burrows for new offspring thus they develop bigger fangs and forelegs, but little antennas and useless wings; they are also dark earthy colored than males."

"GRANDMA! GUYS!" shouted Spider; he approached his grandma and hugged her.
"SPIDER! BECKETT! KIDS!" Butterfly was glad to see everyone.

"Honey! We're okay…" Butterfly looked around, "We are all fine…" Butterfly explained what happened to Beckett and Spider.
"Team Heroes!" Bee, Violette, and Adam reunited with their friends.
"Guys! How are you doing?" wondered Francis and his team; Bee proceeded to tell them what happened.
"THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR PATIENCE, FOR STAYING BY OUR SIDE, AND FOR NOT LETTING TEAM EXO RUIN YOUR EXPERIENCE!" explained and apologized Butterfly to the school group that had stayed in safety but waiting for the bug collectors to take care of the issue and continue the exhibition.
"WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCOVINIENCE AND FOR ALL THE TROUBLE!" bowed Beckett to the audience.
The last school group of the day, teachers and students, cheered for Beckett and Butterfly, "BECKETT! BUTTERFLY! BECKETT! BUTTERFLY!"
"THANK YOU! THANK YOU!" said Beckett and Butterfly, "AS BUG COLLECTORS, WE DREAM OF THE DAY WHEN WE CAN HAVE ALL THE BUG-TYPE POKEMON IN THE WORLD HERE AT OUR INSECTARIUM!"
"BECKETT! BUTTERFLY!" continued the crowd.
"WE DREAM OF FINALLY COLLECTING ALL THE DIFFERENT BUG-TYPE POKEMON IN THE WORLD FOR YOU TO SEE, LEARN, AND BECOME FRIENDS WITH! JUST LIKE WE HAVE BEEN DOING AND WILL CONTINUE DOING SO!" expressed Beckett and Butterfly.
The crowd was focused, cheering for their favorite bug collectors, and eager.
"NOW, WE PRESENT YOU ALL…" Butterfly threw two pokeballs out, "SHOWTIME, MY FRIENDS! COME OUT!" Butterfly released her male and female Roacharacha.
"AND WE ALSO INTRODUCE YOU TO…" Beckett threw two pokeballs out, "SHOWTIME, MY FRIENDS!" Beckett released his male and female Venorpion.
The crowd was excited and eager to learn more about these Pokémon, "WOW! Such unique Bug-type Pokémon!" They proceeded to get close and pet the Pokémon; some used their PokeDEX Apps, and others took pictures, with Beckett and Butterfly's supervision; they began to talk about each one of their Pokémon and their differences to everyone.
"SO, you have met and battled along with Entomo's gym leader, guys!" shared Spider to his friends.
"What? What are you talking about?" pondered Team Heroes.
"Well…my grandma is the official gym leader here at Entomo!" explained Spider, "And as you probably could tell, she specializes in Bug-Type Pokémon! We all do!"
"HUH?! Your grandma is the gym leader?!" Everyone was surprised.
"Guess you will battle her tomorrow! She will tell you the rules then, but at least you know what you're up against, right?" Spider took out a treat from his pocket and fed Mantoto.
"Team! Did you hear what he said?" asked Francis; he was perplexed yet trying to think of a strategy for their battle tomorrow.
"BUGS?!" Belen seemed mortified; "This can get rough! But Rodemart will manage!" confessed Johnny.
"Team Heroes will be fine! We know you can get your first gym badge, guys!" Bee, Violette, and Adam were positive and encouraged their friends.
"Our first gym badge…" Francis got lost on his thoughts; he couldn't wait for tomorrow.
