Thank you for reading! Another idea that I actually had a dream about so I decided to try to write a story based around it. There is romance and mature themes. This is an apocalyptic world after the nation shuts down and gets taken over by a man who only wants to rule and will kill as many people as it takes to achieve that. This story follows Sakura and her group as they try to survive.
R/R much appreciated, Thank you!!

"Look I'm not saying we attack I'm just saying we can't keep hiding like this!" A pink haired woman yells as she paces around the dimly lit room. Her green eyes glancing at the others surrounding her in the small room while her shoes echo in the quiet. The dim sunlight cascading through the shutters leaves an eerie sight of dust floating through the air around them.
"Sakura, I'm not saying we can't leave, we just can't risk giving up our position because they might-" A silver haired man starts from his spot on a chair at the opposite end of the room, positioned close enough to see out of the slots of the shutters overviewing the street below them.
"Kakashi, they do know our position! There's no use in us hanging around like sitting ducks while they plan their attack on us." She continues, stopping briefly to toss a map at the older man. His gloved fingers carelessly catch the paper before glancing down at the different marks made all over the map. His black long sleeve shirt shifts slightly as he sits up slowly and turns his dark eyes towards the woman, her long pink hair loosely falling around her face as she stops suddenly.
"They know where we are. We've gotten away for months without having to worry, but that stupid escapade through the mall only caught their attention." She snaps, her eyes shifting to the blonde man rubbing his neck awkwardly on a torn up couch. His navy green pants are tucked into his brown boots while he sits with his legs spread as he leans back into the couch, the black haired man to his left rolls his eyes as he looks back to his computer in his lap.
"I didn't think anyone would notice, it was only an hour." He starts, trying to be defensive before the pinkette snaps her head around and glares at him.
"Okay okay I know it was stupid. I shouldn't have gone, but Sai bet me I couldn't snag another-"
"It doesn't matter! If we don't leave in the next day we are going to get caught. Look, I heard from Temari and their group and they're planning on going to Sound tonight to lay low for a while, I think it would be best if we follow suit." She says, finally turning to look back at Kakashi. He shakes his head slightly, running a hand through his messy silver hair before glancing back at her.
"I think you're correct in your assumptions, but we can't easily move everyone out of here in blatant sight and expect them to just look past it. We need an actual plan if we are going to leave." He says, his dark eyes glancing around to the others scattered throughout the room, looking for insight from the others as he thinks it over.
"I think forehead is right, we need to leave tonight. If it's true you've been in contact with Temari then we can meet up with them in Sound and figure out a plan." A blonde woman says from her spot against a brown haired man with his hair pulled back into a short spiked ponytail.
Her blue eyes glance from the woman pacing the room and the man sitting to her right, her hands absentmindedly filing her painted nails. The man next to her has his right arm wrapped around her shoulder while the other holds a cigarette loosely over the concrete floors. He nods briefly before looking back to Kakashi and taking a short pull from his cigarette.
"I agree, we need to move tonight if they've discovered this place. Plus having a larger group in Sound would only help us if we end up getting attacked. It's troublesome to have to move everything again, but I personally don't want to be controlled by some old lunatic." He says as he tosses his cigarette onto the floor before putting it out with the tip of his black boot.
The pinkette nods before smoothing out the material of her black t shirt and adjusting her fingerless gloves on her small hands. She moves silently to a small chair opposite the loveseat and pulls out her beat up flip phone.
"I'm going to let them know we will be meeting up with them in Sound tonight, we'll have plenty of time to get our shit packed and figure out the easiest and quickest way." She says before typing away quickly on the phone, only freezing when a noise echoes in the hallway outside of the room they were currently in.
Every head in the room snaps to the closed door before they all move into different defensive stances.
The two men previously on the couch grab two of the long swords laid out on the table top behind the them before moving to either side of the doorway. The two girls in the room quickly move behind one of the pillars holding the ceiling up, both pulling small hand guns from their hips and releasing the safety.
Lastly were the two men left in the room who both moved to the opposite side with their guns drawn as well, all eyes focused on the echoing sound in the hallway.
The scare of being caught by the current ruler of the deadlands and his ragtag group of ruthless killers left all members of this group holding their breath. The past few years having had enough bloodshed and dictatorship to have even the strongest people fearing what would happen if they were caught. This current group happened to mesh together since the fall and the start of the deadlands, everything deserted and resembling the most desolate cities you'd ever seen.
It all happened 3 years prior to their current predicament, the fall of a huge city leading to the fall of many other cities and the opportunistic man who decided to take advantage of the deadlands. His plan? Create an army who could overpower any city and kill those who went against his words.
Now all that's left is the few surviving groups who scavenge around silently and keep in contact with each other to try and keep the trails of the other groups cold. It's an almost foolproof plan, until one of the members of this current group left and caught the eye of a helicopter hovering around the city.
The sound of the handle starting to turn had everyone holding their breath as the door started to open, immediately the pink haired woman shot around the pillar and aimed her colt directly at the intruders only to release a loud sigh.
"What a welcoming party.." A sandy haired woman says, her eye brow raised as she walks in with a group behind her.
"Temari, you could've been shot. Let me know next time." Sakura says before stepping forward and hugging the woman tightly, her dusty blonde hair separated in almost pig tails are a light contrast to the woman's dark top and cargo pants.
"Hey I wanted to surprise you with my dazzling appearance." She says as her dark green eyes scan the others in the room, landing on the dark haired man who lit up another cigarette as he leans on the wall across from them.
"Shika." She says, throwing her hand on her hip and glaring at the man.
"Temi." He responds, smirking lightly at her.
"Alright alright, the love fest is for when we aren't all watching. So what gives with the sudden-" Sakura starts before turning and looking at the other people entering the room. Her eyes quickly stopping on a tall raven haired figure, his onyx eyes glancing around the room before meeting her eyes.
Her breath catches in her throat as memories of this man start flooding through her. Memories of being young and training with him under her father's supervision. Memories of crushing on this man for years, slowly forming a relationship with him before the hit of this awful apocalypse.
"Hey you okay? You look extra pale." Ino says from beside her best friend, her blue eyes glancing at the man before stepping in front of the pinkette.
"Hey isn't that..?" She starts before Sakura throws her hand over the blondes mouth, her eyes almost watering at the memories rushing through her head. She quickly fixes her expression and pushes everything down as her eyes look away.
"So Temari why did you all decide to come here? We were actually just talking about meeting with you in Sound." Sakura says as she turns away quickly, trying to focus on anything other than the ghost standing in this room.

Sakura's POV
--
"We were just cutting through Konoha so I figured why not go ahead and join forces just in case one of us gets caught in some trouble." Temari says as I force my head to stay turned, there's no way he's here. Out of all the people left in the deadlands, he happened to be one of them? It's not like I don't want to see him alive, but things just went silent after the power cut and I never heard from him again.
I'm torn from my thoughts as I feel a hand on my back causing me to jump slightly until I hear his voice.
"Hey pinky." I turn and smile at the huge man pulling me into a hug. Kisame, an insanely tall and overly built man with dark blue hair and black eyes.
"Hey fishy, it's been a while. Gaara, good to see you again." I say, allowing Kisame to pick me up slightly before laughing and hitting his shoulder. The awkward looking redhead in the room nods at me, his light green eyes glancing around our room before he walks over to Naruto and starts talking quietly.
Their friendship goes way back from when we were all kids, this whole group of people left somehow miraculously had some sort of knowledge of each other before the fallout. Probably because of all of the training we all went through against other villages throughout our youth. And going through school with most of them probably made it easier to come together as the world was ending.
"Alright I get it, you can put me down. Deidara, still carrying every explosive known to man?" I joke as everyone starts mingling with each other, all of Team Nine sets their bags down near the door alongside ours.
"Yeah, you know it babe." The blonde, who happens to look a lot like Ino, says as he tosses his bag down and throws himself onto the couch to my left. I look back over the small cluster of people in this room, my mind playing back to the start of these groups.
Each group was separated into numbers, there used to be fifteen groups total. But after years of things getting harder and more unpredictable, there are only five of those groups left. Everyone else has either been killed or recruited. Those seem to be the only options nowadays if you are caught in any of the villages.
"Oh yeah, this is our new find. His name is Sasuke, turns out he's actually from this area. Sasuke this is -"
I hear Temari start as my eyes finally settle on his face, he still looks the same..
"Sakura, we met a long time ago actually." The stoic man says as he stares almost soullessly into my eyes before glancing away and tossing his pack down. He has a long sleeved black shirt on with tan cargo pants and black boots.
"Oh, what a coincidence then. Anyways, I need to go over our plans with you before we head out tonight." Temari says as she pulls me away towards the table near the shutters. I let my eyes glance back at Sasuke before turning around and looking over the map that was set in front of me.
"So the plan is just to sneak around this section of buildings and there's a cut through in the wall that we'd be able to get through fairly easily. It'll be a few hour trip but I've gotten in contact with Group 3 and they're more than willing to help out once we get there. Hey are you okay?" She rambles on until she catches me glancing back at the dark eyes that are non too subtly stuck on me.
"Oh uhm.. Yeah sorry. That sounds like a good plan actually. Run it by Kakashi, excuse me." I say before turning back and grabbing my canteen and slowly slipping through the door towards the kitchen.
Fuck. Not exactly how I planned this day to go, granted I wasn't planning on having to flee our hideout either but it is what it is. Growing up through this apocalypse teaches you not to hold on to sentimental things, we're constantly moving and constantly fighting. It was almost better that I hadn't heard from Sasuke, it would've been just another person to worry about losing.
I turn quickly into the kitchen to refill my canteen, closing the door silently after me. I pull out my flashlight and search for the light system we set up to make it easier to cook, I find it easily and the dim lights flicker some before illuminating the giant kitchen.
"Fuck." I breathe out before stopping in front of the sink and tossing the lid to the side harshly.
So Sasuke is here. He's a part of the groups now, and a part of the group I'm going to be traveling with and living with. Fuck.
I'm thankful that he's alive and not a part of the soldiers, but this just adds more drama to an already tense situation.
"Long time no see, little girl." I hear from the doorway causing me to jump slightly and throw my hand on my gun holster.
"Sasuke." I say, relaxing some as my eyes meet his. He's leaning on the door frame with his arms crossed just staring at me.
"Quite the unexpected surprise I must say." He adds before stepping in and closing the door behind him. I turn and start my original task of filling my canteen and trying to push my emotions out of my head.
"What's that supposed to mean? You thought I wouldn't still be alive?" I counter, glancing at him briefly before zeroing back in on the water rushing from the faucet.
"No, I just didn't expect you to be on the outside considering-"
"Don't. Ino is the only one who knows about that and I'd rather not be turned on by my group. What are you doing around here anyways? After the silence I figured you had just gone off the grid." I say, finally turning and leaning against the counter as my eyes still avoid his in this now claustrophobic room.
"I didn't really have any ties to this city so I just left while I could." He says, looking around the kitchen before landing back on me. There's a brief silence before I clear my throat and put the lid back on my canteen.
"Well, it's been a wonderful reunion. Awkward as always, but-" I start, trying to tie up this awkward conversation before he cuts me off and steps forward.
"Are you avoiding me?" He says, raising an eyebrow at me and slightly smirking as I fumble for words.
"What? You just got here. Why would you even-"
"You're avoiding me, Sakura. Why? You never came looking so why the odd behavior now that we have to live together?" He says, causing me to glare as he leans against the fridge on my right.
"I did come looking for you. For the first week Ino and I tried to find everyone and you were at the top of that list. YOU were already gone. I showed up that night after we were able to get out and you were gone along with all of your stuff. So don't go blaming me for not exactly wanting to have some happy reunion." I snap, pointing my black painted fingernail at his chest as I glare up at him.
"I-"
"No, you were gone. So don't walk in here acting like I didn't care. I cared for you, you twat. And you were gone, so don't give me all this macho man shit acting like I'm just shy and avoiding you, you left me." I continue, tapping my finger into his chest as his eyes watch my movements.
"Okay, okay. I get it, I'm on the fucked up end here. I didn't follow you for an argument, I just wanted to check up on you." He says finally, his eyes still watching my face as I roll my own at his statement.
"Yeah well you fucked up, not me." I say as I start to walk around him only to have my wrist grabbed and yanked back.
"You can't keep running from me. I still care about you." He says, his eyes searching mine slightly as I glare at him.
"You left, that's not my problem." I say as I try to pull my wrist back, not necessarily wanting to be caught up in this bullshit before we have to leave.
"Hey, listen to me. I care about you and there isn't exactly an unlimited amount of time that we all have, especially with a target on your back." He says, his voice taking a serious tone as his obsidian eyes reflect the warm light from the room.
"So what? You want me to drop everything and run back to you? Pick up where we left off? Why would I do that?" I say, raising an eyebrow at the man staring at me intently.
"I'm saying if you still care about me there is a chance for us to still be together through all of this."
I blank a little as his hand is still holding my wrist lightly, his eyes searching mine for something. It wouldn't be the end of the world.. To have someone there for you consistently through everything, to help fight and survive..
But he left. Almost immediately without a note or a word or anything. And now I've got someone else.. Even if it's not really official.
"I don't know about that. You just got here and it's been a while, a lot longer than I would like to continue some childish relationship. How do I even know if you're anything like you were? How do I know you're not just spying on our groups?" I ask, finally pulling my hand free and standing with my weight shifted on one hip. I'm not going to just run into his arms from him saying a couple of nice things to me, the hurt I had wasn't exactly easy.
"Because we spent years together, I know more about you still than I bet anyone out there. I will always care for you regardless if you decide to open your eyes to it or not." He says, almost scoffing at me as I roll my eyes again.
"You don't get to just decide for me! You left me! You never even-" I start, feeling my anger rising before I'm suddenly pulled into his lips. I'm frozen still for a moment before he pulls back and looks me dead in the eyes.
"I still love you. You haven't left my head and I told myself if I ever got the chance to see you I would act on it." He says causing my eyes to go slightly wide at the sudden confession.
It's been years since I heard that from anyone let alone the man who just disappeared after the end of our city. We had been together for years, dating through our teens and training together constantly. Only after we started college did things become a little tough and that was only because I was living with Naruto and Sai and Sasuke didn't exactly like how close we all were at home.
"Sasuke.. I-" I try to talk again only to be cut off by yelling in the hallway.
"Hey forehead!" Ino calls before opening the door and staring at us. She smirks a little before leaning on the doorway with a catlike look on her face.
"Sasuke, good to see you again." She says, flipping her blonde hair back over her shoulder before her blue eyes reach mine.
"Hate to disrupt the love fest, but we've got to get going if we're going to make it out on time. The searcher just went passed us so it's now or never." She says before walking out, leaving me still close to the raven haired man beside me. I breathe out heavily before turning and looking up at him.
"I.. I don't know what to say to you." I say quietly, not pulling away but not leaning into him. His right hand suddenly moves up to my neck as he leans in again, not quite kissing me but leaving the decision to me.
I hesitate before slowly reaching forward and lightly kissing him, my body frozen as he responds and pulls me flush against him. His left arm wraps around my waist as he kisses me harder, my bottle dropping carelessly on the counter beside us.
His lips are still as soft as I remember and his mouth works against mine almost fluidly as I lean into him. Another noise from the hallway causes me to come back to reality, knowing we have to stay on schedule if we don't want to get caught.
"We need to go." I breathe out finally as I pull back, my eyes slowly moving up to his.
"Okay, let's go." He responds softly as his arm edges me towards the door, his other hand reaching back and grabbing my canteen.
I walk slowly out of the room and feel his hand slip into mine, causing me to glance back at him. I don't pull away as we walk to the meeting room, the noise of everyone packing echoing in the quiet hall.
"Hey I mean it by the way, they have no idea about that secret and I need to keep it that way." I say as I pause before we open the door.
"I won't tell anyone, I swear." He says smiling lightly at me as he squeezes my hand in his before handing me my canteen.
"Don't let it go to your head, but I missed you a lot actually." I say before releasing his hand and pulling the door open, breathing in heavily as I walk over to my pack and shove the bottle inside.
"Alright we've got about five minutes until we all need to be out of here. Itachi is up ahead scouting it out, so once I get the okay from him we need to go." Temari says as she peaks out of the shutters.
"Okay, is everyone packed up?" I say as I look around to everyone before pulling on my loose fitting green jacket. Everyone either nods or makes some sort of agreeing noise as we all start to head for the door.
"Great, let's get going then. Itachi just sent the signal." She says as we file out of the door, Kakashi and Temari leading with everyone else walking in pairs.
"Hey so you gonna fill me in?" Ino says from my right as we walk behind Sai and Gaara. I sigh before looking at the floor crunching under our feet.
"He's back and he wants to try." I say simply, keeping my voice low as we walk down the set of stairs on our right.
"Ooo, juicy. You totally missed the awkward staring between Temari and Shika. So now there's two couples drama I get to watch." She says happily as we continue down two more flights of stairs before reaching the bottom floor. There's almost no light in the dark hallways but we've learned it's not smart to pull out a flashlight where it can be seen from the outside.
"I swear you use us as your personal reality tv." I say quietly, laughing lightly at the normalcy of this conversation.
Ino absolutely loves gossip, which was constant back in the old days but now all that's left to gossip about is the drama among the groups. Which I guess it counts? Temari and Shikamaru are on again off again, they have secret meetings in between cities at least once a week. Shikamaru is fine with everyone knowing but Temari thinks it will effect how her group sees her as a leader.
It's understandable, but with it being the end of our cities he doesn't see the problem in having an actual relationship while we're still alive.
"Of course it's my personal reality tv. Where else am I supposed to get entertainment? But now I get to live vicariously through you, who would've imagined?" She says, sighing dramatically as we all make it to the back exit of this building.
"Hoods." Kakashi whispers as we all follow suit and pull our hoods up to cover our hair from sticking out. I release a quiet breath as my eyes look ahead at Sasuke looking back at me from his spot next to Kisame. Naruto is walking behind us and Deidara and Shikamaru are at the front behind Temari and Kakashi. Thankfully we all went to the same college so everyone already knew each other prior to the fall, but we all split up into smaller groups to make hiding out easier.
Kakashi makes a quick hand movement and we all start filing out into the back alley, careful to keep our backs close to the wall on our right as we move quickly.
We all try to step carefully as we round the couple of corners before we come to a desolate street covered in the remains of exploded cars and burnt debris and bodies. We move across it in small groups, careful to be quick and quiet.
Once we start down another couple of backstreets Temari signals that we're getting close to the fence.
The sky is almost a dark violet as the dark blue of night starts overtaking the sky, leaving us hidden in the shadows thankfully.
Kakashi moves back as Temari, Shikamaru, and Kisame quickly dart across the street to the other alleyway ending with a fence leading to the forest outside of the city. We wait about a minute before Gaara, Sai, and Ino rush across, Sasuke and Deidara standing a step ahead of me. Next Kakashi starts across with Sasuke and Deidara silently behind him leaving Naruto and myself.
I count to 60 before taking a quick step out only to have a huge light illuminate the street. My heart almost stops in my chest as I see the armored vehicle turning onto the street and the light shinning directly on me.
Fuck.
-
"Fuck.." I breathe out as I freeze where I am in the road, I glance briefly at the others before giving them the signal to go.
"You! Stop where you are! By the order of-"
"Run." I say quickly to Naruto who is looking on with his typical look of rushing adrenaline and stupidity.
I take one last look at the others before sprinting down the street in the opposite direction with Naruto close on my right. We can hear the truck picking up speed behind us as we run until we hit an intersection and take a right towards the old barracks they had set up at the start of the war.
"We need to get off the streets. Follow me." I call out before taking a sharp left into a small alleyway between two shops, the truck rounding the corner as we duck into the darkness.
"We cant stay here. We need to move." The blonde haired man whispers close to my head as we press ourselves behind a large dumpster. My mind races as I try to think of an easy escape from this truck, it shouldn't be too difficult if there's only one truck but we don't know how many more there really are.
I turn my head to the left and see a fence with a gash in the bottom left, hopefully big enough for us to squeeze through before they get out of their truck.
"Come on." I whisper as I take off for the cut and peel it back as he slides through, I quickly follow and we take off down the alley behind one of the shops. It's hard to make anything out in the darkness but our eyes have adjusted to having to maneuver around in the dark.
"This way." I hear before I'm pulled back towards a wall slightly taller than myself. I look at his blue eyes before he nods towards it, wanting me to jump and go over the wall. I nod as he quickly wraps his arms around my thighs and hoists me up, I turn on my heel as I crouch down and pull him up. Once we steady ourselves we jump off onto the other side of the crumbling wall before freezing silently.
The sound of the soldiers boots hitting the pavement on the other side echo in the silence as we stay still and try to be as quiet as possible as we lean against the wall. Silently hoping we can slip away and meet up with the others before they're too far ahead, which considering the threat I wouldn't blame them if they didn't even look back.
I feel a hand on my arm as Naruto nods towards a small building across from us, we wait for a minute before silently running into the dark building. The door is slightly hanging off its hinges at an awkward angle causing me to bend to avoid making any noise.
Once we're inside we search for any door leading to a room that we can camp out in for the time being.
"Here." He says, motioning towards a small closet on the right side of the empty room.
I nod and we both slip inside and shut the door, the cramped space not giving us much room but it's better than being out in the open.
I breathe in heavily before pulling out my phone and checking for any message from the group. My heart drops slightly as the phone screen is empty, but the dim light takes my mind off of it as it illuminates how tiny this room really is.
"Anything?" Naruto says from behind me, his chest slightly heaving against my back.
"Not yet." I say, trying to turn to face him so my back is against a wall and not him.
"Great." He whispers, his eyes looking at my face before glancing at my phone screen as well. I shift a little as I realize his left hand is resting on my waist while his back is against the door.
"Why'd you have to go betting with Sai anyways? You know he'll dare you to do anything." I whisper, starting to get agitated at everything going on and the reason behind it happening.
"It's not my fault he bet rations on it." He whispers back, his tone like child caught with his hand in the candy jar. I roll my eyes before brushing his hand off of me causing him to scoff.
"What's your problem?" I say, glancing at his face in the light my phone gives off.
"It's not the first time we've been in one of these together." He says, a slight smirk pulling at his lips causing me to roll my eyes even harder.
"Oh please. Do not go there right now. Now is not the time." I say, trying to get more space between us in this tiny room. Of course he'd bring that up right now.
"If I remember correctly you were the one who instigated it last time we were running from them." He says, his breath fanning over my face as his hand goes back to my hip.
"Really? Now you want to be interested in something other than rations?" I grumble out as I check my phone again, this time a message is on the screen.
"They're going an hour ahead to the north and will wait for us there. We need to get going. And stop that." I snap as I slap at his hand as he tries to wrap it around my waist, he scoffs before pulling me against him.
"Please? Hasn't it been long enough since we've-"
"No. Our mission is to get out of Konoha before we're caught, and I don't plan on hanging around to get caught." I say, trying to move to grab the handle. My movements are stopped as I'm suddenly pressed against the back wall, his knee moving between my thighs and holding me in place.
I release a low growling noise as his right hand travels up my side inside of my jacket. Now is not the time and definitely not since the recent addition to our group and my life's drama.
"What better time than now? You never know what could happen once we leave." He whispers close to my ear before I push him back and put my hand on his chest.
"No. I want to get back with our team. And by the way, you were the one who ignored me the whole rest of that night. So don't treat me like I gave you the cold shoulder." I grumble as I slowly open the door and inch out into the darkness, listening for any sign of movement.
The lights are gone from outside and there's no sounds other than our breathing, so it should be safe.
"Come on, we can talk later." I mumble as I slip through the door and head towards the door we entered through, he follows silently as we both glance out of the shattered window.
I nod before bending through the door again and racing for the wall across from us.
"If we head-" I start before I'm cut off by some sort of noise at the end of this street, it's not a truck but it looks like a man.
"Fuck, against the wall." I say as we press ourselves into the darkness, both of our eyes trained in on the man standing at the end of the street.
My mind starts racing until I see plain clothes on him, which would point towards a survivor.. But why isn't he moving? Why is he in the middle of the street?
My eyebrows stitch together as I grab Naruto's hand tightly, the sight in front of us starting to make my anxiety worse.
The man we are watching starts moving his head to the left and back to the right in almost a feral snake kind of way. His movements abnormal, but the sound..
I almost release the breath I'm holding as a loud screech echos from his mouth, his movements getting more deranged as he steps forward almost like a drunk.
"What in the fuck.." I whisper out as we watch this.. man.. stumble forward before another figure shows up. The same movements and sounds causing my heart to race at the feral and horrifying noises they are emitting.
"We need to move. Move!" Naruto almost yells at me as we take off in the opposite direction.
"What the fuck was that? What the fuck was that?!" I manage out as we sprint in the direction we are planning on meeting the rest of the team.
My mind won't stop replaying the sounds of the mannerisms of those people. What in the fuck would cause someone to move like that? Drugs? Yeah it has to be drugs, I mean people are desperate out here so maybe they just took some laced shit. But then why would they.. No just focus on running.
"I don't know." He says lowly as we disappear into the trees where the others took off earlier.
Thank you so much for reading! Please let me know what you think!
