A/N: I don't own Power Rangers. They are owned by Saban

The Power Rangers were in the Command Center. Ninjor and Andros were there as well.

Zordon said, "I called you all here to discuss our plans for Rita, Lord Zedd, and their forces. To ensure that Earth is safe, we need to eliminate the threat."

Andros said, "Agreed. This will have to be done carefully, especially considering NASA's latest discovery. I have requested Lightspeed Rescue to keep this information from becoming public knowledge."

Andros entered a few buttons, and the Viewing Globe showed an image of the Zeo Crystals. The crystals were in a cave on the Moon.

Andros said, "The only thing NASA knows is that there is a mysterious source of energy on the surface of the Moon. They do not know that they have discovered the Zeo Crystals"

Zack asked, "Zeo Crystals? What are those?"

Zordon said, "These crystals hold immense power. An ancient civilization planted them there a long time ago. We need to retrieve these before anyone else gets them. For now, an energy field that repels evil protects them. We don't know how long that field will last, however."

Tommy said, "I think that means we need to get it right now, then."

Zordon said, "I agree. However, there is an issue that makes that impossible."

Zack said, "Of course there is. Let me guess, Rita and Lord Zedd are sitting on top of it?"

Zordon said, "That is correct, Zack. Whoever retrieves this will need to get through Rita's forces."

Tommy said, "I saw most of the Moon Palace during my time as Rita's Green Ranger. I didn't see anything that would give us too much trouble. We can go in there and attack."

Jason said, "We could, but there is one problem. Rita might have changed the layout since the last time you were there. Rito might have added his own forces and defenses. They can also keep creating more monsters."

Andros said, "Even if they did nothing to prepare for an attack, we all know that none of them will go down without a fight. An attack on the Moon Palace might as well be a suicide mission, especially if we go in blind."

Jason said, "It's time to infiltrate it, then. That's what my dad would do with his special forces squad. He and his ranger squad would infiltrate an outpost, take out any defenses while no one is looking, and hold their position while they wait for the main force to attack."

Andros asked, "Is your dad a Power Ranger?"

Jason said, "No, he's a regular ranger. That's just what our military calls people in his kind of unit."

Andros looked disappointed, but he said nothing more about Jason's dad.

Andros said, "Infiltration is smart, but we can't use a team. A team would attract too much attention. One person needs to infiltrate the base."

Tommy said, "I volunteer. I served under Rita as the Green Ranger, then I switched over to you guys. Rita would be thrilled to have me back. She wouldn't know to be suspicious."

Kimberly said, "There are a few problems with your plan. One, you could get hurt. Two, Goldar has a grudge against you. Three, you would be too obvious of a choice. For all we know, Lord Zedd or Rito could see right through the deception and kill you!"

Katherine said, "A newer Ranger should go. I volunteer."

The Rangers all looked at her.

Katherine said, "I'm the best choice. Even though I have been a Ranger for a few months, I am still the newest Ranger. Rita and her forces don't know me as well as they know the rest of you."

Andros said, "I can see your reasoning, Katherine. Rita and her forces have a lot of experience with the other Rangers. Since they don't know you as well, they may be more ambitious in trying to brainwash you."

Kimberly asked, "Are you sure about this?"

Katherine said, "I am."

Tommy said, "Good luck."

Zordon said, "First, get yourself captured by Rita and her forces. They will be too happy about capturing a Ranger that they won't notice how easy it was to capture you. Get comfortable with Rita and get on her good side. Make her believe you are working with her. She will tell you all of her plans and all of her defenses."

Andros added, "There is also a lot of bickering among Rita's forces. We can exploit the weak points and use that to our advantage. If you see anyone who is on the fence, push them to defect."

Katherine said, "Will do."

Trini asked, "Is there a chance they will see through her deception?"

Andros said, "Rita is evil, and she is also an idiot. She won't figure it out on her own. Neither will her forces. And if anyone tries to question Katherine's loyalty, Rita will shut down that discussion."

Katherine said, "So, the plan is I get taken away by Rita and her forces. Once I am there, I get cozy with Rita and pretend to work for her. I gather information while I'm there, and I will relay anything I learn to you. Once we have enough information, we will launch our assault. Do I have all that right?"

Zordon said, "Yes, that is correct. If Rita sends down a monster, do your best to take it away from Angel Grove. Do what you can to interfere with her plans. Appear incompetent."

Andros said, "Don't worry about looking too incompetent. The more incompetent you are when helping Rita and Lord Zedd, the more you will fit in. They are used to incompetence. If you become competent, then they won't trust you anymore. They will try to kill you instead."

Katherine said, "That's good to know."

Tommy said, "Good luck."

Zordon added, "May the Power protect you."

Katherine teleported to Angel Grove Park, ready to find one of Rita's minions. She didn't have to look far. She saw Squatt trying to do something near some park benches. Katherine asked herself what someone with very low intelligence and very high confidence would do, and the answer immediately came to her.

Katherine yelled, "Hey! Hey, you! I am going to stop you!"

Squatt turned around, and said, "Oh! A Power Ranger! How wonderful!"

Squatt summoned a squad of Tenga Warriors, and they surrounded Katherine.

Katherine yelled, "Oh no! What have I done!?"

The Tenga Warriors grabbed Katherine and brought her to Squatt. Squatt jumped with glee, and he teleported with the Tenga Warriors and Katherine to the Moon Palace. When they arrived, Squatt ran off to get Rita. He came back a minute later with Rita. Squatt was babbling happily, and Rita snapped at him. Squatt whimpered and ran off.

Rita walked over to Katherine, and she looked Katherine up and down.

Rita said, "So, Squatt captured a Power Ranger? That's wonderful!" She turned to Goldar, who was in the room with them.

Rita said triumphantly, "See!? This is how you get a Power Ranger! If only you were as good as Squatt!"

Goldar said, "This makes little sense! This was too easy! And Squatt gets nothing done right!"

Rita snapped, "Who cares if it's too easy!? We have a Power Ranger! This means I can start a new plan! I am going to brainwash this Ranger, and I will use her against the others! We will go after Tommy and Kimberly first!"

Goldar opened his mouth to speak, but Rita cut him off with a tirade.

Meanwhile, the Rangers were in the Command Center. They anxiously waited for Katherine to get captured.

Tommy's communicator beeped, and he heard Katherine report that Rita has taken the bait.

Tommy said, "Good. Find out what you can, and note any weak points."

Katherine whispered, "Will do."

Kimberly asked, "What do we do now?"

Tommy said, "Now we wait until we are ready to make our next move."

Kimberly said, "That will be hard. I don't enjoy waiting."

Aisha said, "Me neither. Let's go volunteer at the animal shelter, Kimberly. I can use a distraction."

Kimberly said, "Good thinking!"

Aisha and Kimberly were at the animal shelter for an hour, taking care of pets and trying to find new owners for those pets.

Kimberly said, "I am going to go outside for a quick break. Do you want to join?"

Aisha said, "Sure. I can use some fresh air."

The two Rangers stepped outside into the fall sun. It was a little dry and windy as well. Kimberly looked around to make sure no one else was nearby, and she asked, "Do you think Katherine is okay? It's been an hour…"

Aisha said, "I am sure she's fine. She's a Ranger, like us."

Kimberly said, "Tommy told me what it was like at the Moon Palace. It sounded like an absolute nightmare."

Aisha said, "I'm not surprised it was a nightmare. We can only hope for the best."

Kimberly looked out onto the street, and she noticed a white stray cat. The white cat looked at Kimberly, and she quickly ran over to her. The cat bumped up against Kimberly's and Aisha's legs, and the cat purred loudly.

Aisha picked up the cat and said, "Hey there, little kitty. Are you lost?"

The cat meowed, and Aisha said, "The poor thing must be hungry!"

Aisha and Kimberly were about to take the cat inside, but the cat jumped out of Aisha's arms! The cat landed on the ground, and she looked around. Light momentarily engulfed the cat, and the cat morphed into Katherine. Aisha and Kimberly both took a step back in surprise.

Katherine said, "Aisha, never call me a little kitty!"

Aisha said, "Sorry! I, uh, didn't know it was you!"

Katherine said, "Rita has cast a spell on me that allows me to transform into a cat. She wants me to spy on you while I'm in my cat form. Whatever you do, make sure no one adopts me."

Kimberly said, "That may be difficult. You make a cute cat!" She thought for a moment, and she said, "I got an idea. Hiss and bite at anyone who tries to take you. People don't want an aggressive cat."

Aisha said, "I think we should have sent a boy. We would have a male cat instead, and intact male cats can be aggressive. Same with dogs."

Katherine said, "Too late for that. Anyway, hissing, biting, and attacking people are already good tactics to keep people from adopting me."

Aisha added, "We should also make it look like Kimberly or I have the magic touch, that only Kimberly and I can keep you calm."

Katherine said, "I can do that. I once had a dog who loved me and hated everyone else. We had to put him down after he bit my last boyfriend's hand, though."

Kimberly said, "Ouch. I'm sorry."

Katherine said, "It's an old wound. The two of them hated each other. My last boyfriend loved to kick my dog sometimes, and my dog hated him for it."

Kimberly asked, "Who does Rita want you to spy on?"

Katherine said, "You and Tommy."

Kimberly said, "Of course she does. I will take you home after our time at the animal shelter is done. The story is that I have the magic touch, and I am the only person you seem to like."

Katherine changed back into her cat form and sat in a cage. Every time someone tried to talk to her, she would act furious. She hissed, swatted, and even tried to bite anyone who approached her.

Kimberly walked up to Katherine, and Katherine instantly stopped the aggressive cat routine. She became a very sweet cat instead.

A woman who hoped to adopt the cat cried, "How did you do that!? That cat was ready to tear my throat out! She calmed down the second you showed up!"

Kimberly said, "I don't know. I think the cat likes me!"

The woman said, "I think you should adopt her then! That cat is mean to everyone else!"

The woman left, and she walked into the section with dogs. Kimberly took Katherine out and she held her. Katherine purred loudly, and she relaxed in Kimberly's arms.

Kimberly whispered, "Are you going to kiss me?"

Katherine slapped Kimberly's face, and she went back to cuddling in Kimberly's arms.

Kimberly said, "Ow! You could have just looked away!"

Aisha said, "Well, it has been a couple of hours since we got her, and no one claimed her. And no one wants to adopt her. I guess that means you can take her home."

Kimberly said, "I guess so." She looked at the cat, and she said, "I am going to name you PC, short for Park Cat. We saw you next to the park, so it seems appropriate."

Katherine stared at Kimberly, not bothering to blink her eyes.

Kimberly asked, "Are you trying to judge me?"

Aisha said, "I think so. That's the same look my cat gives me when he judges me."

Kimberly took Katherine straight to her home, much to Rita's delight.

When Kimberly got home, she introduced the cat to her dad. It delighted her that her dad was happy with the cat.

Roger smiled and said, "She's a cute cat! What did you name her?"

Kimberly said, "PC. It's short for Park Cat. Aisha and I found her near the park while we were at the animal shelter."

Roger smiled, and said, "That's really nice! I will get some supplies for her. I will be back in a few hours."

Kimberly said, "Thanks, Dad."

Kimberly took Katherine to her room, and Katherine changed into her human form.

Katherine said, "I don't know what came over you at the shelter, but please don't ask me to kiss you!"

Kimberly laughed, and she said, "Sorry. I had forgotten you were a cat for a moment!"

Katherine said, "That's fair. Also, PC? Really?"

Kimberly said, "That was the first name to cross my mind. Would you like to be named Kitty instead?"

Katherine shook her head, and she said, "No thanks. I was thinking about the names we give our pets… and some of them are just wrong."

Kimberly said, "Don't worry, I am sure the cat part of the plan is temporary."

Katherine said, "It better be! I will not use the litter box! I am going to use the restroom as a human being, as nature intended!"

Kimberly said, "You can do that, but there is one problem. Dad knows we have a cat. He will get worried if you go missing as a cat. He would also wonder why you suddenly showed up in my house as a human."

Katherine groaned, and she said, "I hate the idea of using a litter box. But I will do it to keep my cover."

Kimberly said, "Thank you. What cover story did you give your parents?"

Katherine said, "My disappearance is my cover story. Turn on the news."

Kimberly turned on the TV in her room, and the two watched the latest news report.

The reporter said, "We still have no word on the whereabouts of local teenager Katherine Hillard. She was last seen at Angel Grove Park, where Rita Repulsa's forces abducted her."

Katherine shut off the TV when her parents showed up on the screen. She said, "I don't need to hear them be heartbroken." She paused for a moment, and she added, "I don't think your dad knew I was missing. Either that or he sucks at giving you emotional support."

Kimberly said, "He doesn't watch the news that often. It stresses him out. I will tell him later about your disappearance. I can tell him that Tommy told me about it on our date."

Katherine asked, "Date? When is it?"

Kimberly said, "I am going to go on a date with Tommy tonight. I feel bad about how much time I've been spending with my gymnastics."

Katherine said, "Hey, it's okay. You are preparing for the Pan Global Olympics."

Kimberly sighed, and she said, "I know. I just feel bad, you know? Tommy has been there for me, and I'm not spending any time with him."

Katherine said, "I am sure he will understand…"

Kimberly said, "If you say so. Tommy and I have plans to see a movie tonight. When I come home, I can tell my dad that Tommy told me Rita Repulsa took you."

Katherine asked, "Can you cry on command?"

Kimberly said, "Watch."

Kimberly brought to mind the image of all the Rangers lying dead around her. It was an image from one of her nightmares, and it had stuck with her for a long time. Her eyes watered, and she felt a sinking feeling in her chest.

Katherine said, "Okay, yes, you can. Just one thing… can I please drive? I've been a cat for the last few hours, and I desperately want to be a human!"

Kimberly said, "Of course!"

Katherine said, "Thank you!"

Katherine saw a flash of light outside of the window. Katherine walked over to the window and saw Rita standing in the backyard. Katherine closed the blinds, and she said, "I have to meet someone in your backyard."

Katherine mouthed, "Rita."

Kimberly made a disgusted face, and she nodded. Katherine left Kimberly's room and went outside.

Rita screeched, "Why weren't you in your cat form!?"

Katherine played dumb and asked, "Oh, was I supposed to do that?"

Rita screeched, "Yes! Kimberly almost found out my plan!"

Katherine said, "She doesn't seem to notice anything was wrong."

Rita sighed, and said, "I guess not. I have a headache though! What did Kimberly tell you?"

Katherine said, "I am going to drive Kimberly to meet up with Tommy. The two will go on a date."

Rita said, "That's wonderful news! Perhaps forgetting to stay as a cat wasn't a problem after all!" Rita aimed her staff at the street, and she created a car out of thin air.

Rita said, "You will drive Kimberly and Tommy using this car. Don't mess this up!"

Katherine said, "Of course, my Empress."

Rita disappeared, and Katherine went back up to Kimberly's room. She told Kimberly what Rita had said.

Kimberly asked, "Does Rita seriously think that we will get in a car that you magically gained out of nowhere!? How stupid does she think we are!?"

Katherine said, "Apparently, she thinks we are idiotic. They don't seem suspicious at all that the others haven't reacted to my disappearance."

Kimberly asked, "Did Rita tell you what she plans on doing with the car?"

Katherine said, "No, she didn't. I would be ready to morph, just in case."

Kimberly said, "Agreed. I will tell Tommy that, too."

Katherine and Kimberly got in the car, and Katherine drove them to the Juice Bar. When they arrived, they saw Tommy waiting outside. Katherine and Kimberly got out of the car and greeted Tommy.

Tommy asked, "Katherine, what are you doing here?"

Katherine said, "I thought I would drive you and Kimberly to your movie tonight!"

Kimberly said, "Yeah! It's great that Katherine is doing that. Hold on, I want to write something down quickly."

Kimberly took out a piece of paper, and she wrote that Rita wants the three Rangers to get in the car. She also wrote a warning to be prepared to morph. She showed the note to Tommy, and Tommy nodded.

Tommy said, "Don't worry, I will be ready."

The three Rangers stepped into the car, and Katherine drove. The three of them arrived at the movie theater without incident.

Katherine asked, "What movie were you thinking of watching?"

Tommy said, "I was thinking Texas Chainsaw Massacre."

Kimberly asked, "Really? That's hardly romantic."

Suddenly, a dense fog surrounded the car. They couldn't see anything other than the space immediately around their car. The three Rangers took that as their cue to morph. They stood around the car, ready for anything.

Tommy asked, "Do you have any idea what Rita might have planned?"

Katherine said, "No idea. I have a feeling this fog has something to do with it…"

The three Rangers saw a teenage girl run out of the fog. She stopped in front of the car and screamed, "Help me, please!"

The three Rangers heard a loud chainsaw starting up. A huge figure stepped into the fog, and the figure raised his chainsaw. The teenage girl screamed, and the figure tore the girl apart with the chainsaw. The three Rangers couldn't help but scream in horror as well.

Tommy yelled, "I think that is what Rita had planned! Let's fight him!"

The three Rangers charged towards the figure, and the figure swung his chainsaw at the Rangers. The Rangers jumped back, and they each realized that they had to change their plan of attack.

Meanwhile, Trini and Aisha went to the Juice Bar looking for Kimberly and Tommy. Aisha walked up to Ernie, and she asked, "Have you seen Tommy and Kimberly anywhere?"

Ernie said, "They left with Katherine to see a movie. Tommy said he was going to see the new Chainsaw Massacre movie."

Trini said, "Oh, that's violent and scary."

Aisha asked, "Didn't you and Jason watch all the Jurassic Park movies?"

Trini said, "Hey, that's different. We were rooting for the dinosaurs, especially the T. Rex!"

The two Rangers' communicators beeped, and they went to a private spot.

Trini asked, "What is it, Zordon?"

Zordon said, "Come to the Command Center at once. Two unfolding situations need to be resolved."

Trini and Aisha teleported to the Command Center, and they joined the rest of the Rangers.

Zordon said, "There are two problems. One, Tommy, Kimberly, and Katherine are currently fighting off what appears to be a large person with a chainsaw. Look at the Viewing Globe."

The Rangers turned to look at the Viewing Globe. Tommy, Kimberly, and Katherine were struggling with trying to hurt the chainsaw figure.

Zack said, "Man, that's Leatherface! He's a character in the Chainsaw Massacre movie."

Rocky said, "No spoilers! Aisha and I are going to watch that tomorrow night!"

Zordon said, "There is another problem. Rito is attacking Angel Grove again."

The Rangers saw Rito attacking Angel Grove.

Zack said, "That guy will never learn, will he? How many times do we need to beat him before he gets the message?"

Jason said, "Let's split up. Zack, Trini, and Billy, you three help me save Tommy, Kimberly, and Katherine. The rest of you take the Ninja Megazord to fight Rito."

Rocky said, "That works for me!"

Rocky, Adam, Aisha, and Matthew morphed and formed the Ninja Megazord. Thanks to Billy's upgrade, the Megazord could operate with four Rangers as opposed to the six it needs to operate.

Jason asked, "Where are Tommy, Kimberly, and Katherine?"

Alpha 5 cried, "I can't find them! The fog is hiding them!"

At that moment, Katherine, Tommy, and Kimberly got teleported to the Moon Palace. The fog surrounding the car disappeared. Leatherface and his victim disappeared as well. Tommy, Kimberly, and Katherine left an empty car sitting in a parking lot.

Billy said, "We missed them!"

Zack asked, "What about Leatherface? What happened to him?"

Zordon said, "Leatherface must have been an illusion intended to distract us."

Billy said, "There must be a way to get the three Rangers back. I may have a solution at my lab."

Zack said, "I will come with you!"

Jason said, "Good. Trini and I will stay here in case anything changes."

Jason and Trini looked at the Viewing Globe, which now showed images of the Ninja Megazord fighting Rito. Jason and Trini both winced when they saw the Ninja Megazord deliver a Power Punch to Rito's face.

Jason asked, "Do you have any luck finding the other three, Alpha?"

Alpha 5 cried, "Ay ay ay, I can't find them! Rita and Lord Zedd have created an energy signal that keeps me from finding them!"

At the Moon Palace, Tommy and Kimberly woke up to find themselves trapped in containment fields. Katherine was the only one in the room with them, and she said, "I'm so sorry! I didn't know they were going to capture you!"

Tommy said, "We can use this to our advantage. Kimberly and I can run through the Moon Palace, and you can chase us. Once we get a good understanding of the layout, Kimberly and I will teleport away."

Katherine said, "That's an excellent plan. I can always pin your escape on someone else's failure. That's apparently how they do things here. It's always someone else's fault."

Kimberly said, "Hey, someone is coming!"

Goldar walked into the room, and he gloated, "We now have you two captured, Tommy and Kimberly!"

Tommy yelled, "Let us go! Now!"

Goldar said, "I don't think so! I have been waiting for a chance to get revenge for Scorpina, and now I will take my revenge!"

Katherine said, "Don't kill them! Rita wants them alive!"

Goldar growled, "But my sister's killer is right there!"

Katherine said, "Empress' orders. If Rita says they stay alive, then they stay alive."

Goldar roared, "But I haven't avenged my sister's death!"

Katherine said, "Take it up with Rita, not me!"

Goldar said, "On second thought, I won't kill them. I will do as the Empress demands." He turned to Tommy and Kimberly, and he said, "You two are lucky!"

Katherine silently made her way to a switch, taking advantage of Goldar's angry tirade. Katherine flipped a switch, and the force fields holding Tommy and Kimberly in place went away.

Katherine said, "Oops."

Tommy asked, "Do you want revenge? Fight for it!"

Tommy and Kimberly leaped into action. The two of them both delivered a kick to Goldar's chest. Goldar staggered backward, and he raised his sword.

Goldar yelled, "Scorpina, I will avenge you!"

Rita walked into the room, and she screeched, "Goldar, don't kill them, you idiot!"

Goldar spun around to face Rita. He got kicked in the back, and he fell right on top of Rita. Tommy and Kimberly took that opportunity to run off.

Rita shoved Goldar off of her, and she screeched, "You idiot! Look at what you have done!"

Katherine said, "I will find them, Empress!"

Rita yelled, "I have one thing I want to do before you do that! Turn into your cat form."

Katherine was about to protest, but she stopped herself. She turned into her cat form, and she faced Rita. Rita zapped her, and she turned Katherine into Katastrophe, a humanoid cat monster.

Katherine cried, "Do you want the Rangers to kill me!?"

Rita yelled, "No, I want you to fight Billy and Zack! The two of them are trying to rescue their friends!"

Rito walked into the room, and said, "I got bad news. I wasn't able to kill the Rangers, so now they are going to help Billy and Zack as well!"

Rita screeched, "What!? What do you mean you couldn't kill them!?"

Rito said, "It's their Megazord. Is it any surprise I haven't been able to kill them?"

Rita screeched, "Oh, you have given me a headache!" She pointed at Goldar and Rito, and she screeched, "You two! Go find Tommy and Kimberly! Now!"

Meanwhile, Katherine showed up in her Katastrophe form outside of Billy's house. She looked around to make sure no one was watching, and she turned back into her human form. She saw Billy and Zack working on something in Billy's garage.

Billy looked up, and he said, "Katherine, you're back!" He frowned, and he asked, "Are Tommy and Kimberly still at the Moon Palace?"

Katherine said, "They are. Rita sent me down here to fight you all. She also turned me into a cat monster named Katastrophe. When I turn into her, beat me, but don't destroy me."

Billy said, "Understood."

The other Rangers arrived at Billy's lab, and Billy updated them on the situation.

Katherine said, "Thank you for updating them, Billy." She turned to the other Rangers and said, "Now pretend I didn't tell you about Katastrophe."

Katherine walked to a secluded place and turned into Katastrophe. She jumped back to the Rangers, and she yelled, "Rangers! I will destroy you!"

Jason said, "It's Morphin Time!"

The Rangers all morphed, and they fought Katherine. Katherine found it strange to fight the other Rangers. She felt bad every time she punched or kicked a ranger. She admired how well the Rangers worked together, though. They always helped to pick each other back up. Katherine cried out in pain when Rocky punched her a little too hard. Rocky shot a quick apology, and he let Katherine slap him. Rocky jumped backward and turned to Aisha. Aisha charged forward and kicked Katherine in the chest. Katherine took that as her cue to leave the battle.

At the Moon Palace, Rito fought Kimberly while Goldar fought Tommy. Tommy and Kimberly were now cornered in a storage room in the Moon Palace.

Tommy jumped backward, avoiding Goldar's sword. Tommy saw the fire in Goldar's eyes, the fire for revenge.

Tommy taunted, "Scorpina screamed real good before she died!"

Goldar roared, "Don't you dare say that!"

Goldar went blind with rage, and he swung his sword at Tommy. Tommy rolled out of the way, and he hit Goldar's back with Saba. At that moment, Rito grabbed Tommy's arm. Rito pulled Tommy away from Goldar, making him drop Saba.

Goldar turned around and laughed at Tommy. He yelled, "You aren't so strong now without Saba!"

Kimberly kicked Rito in the back, making him release Tommy. Tommy broke free from Rito's grip, and he grabbed Saba. Tommy and Kimberly backed up towards a wall, and they stood side by side. Goldar and Rito raised their swords, ready to strike. At that moment, Tommy and Kimberly teleported back to the Command Center. Goldar's and Rito's swords narrowly missed them.

The other Rangers were at the Command Center, waiting for Tommy's and Kimberly's return. To everyone's relief, Tommy and Kimberly materialized before them. Jason gave Tommy a big hug.

Jason said, "I'm glad we got you both back!"

Tommy said, "Yeah, me too!"

Kimberly said, "That was a little too close for comfort."

Billy said, "I'm sorry. Zack and I tried to work as quickly as we could."

Tommy said, "The important part is we are back. Kimberly and I have learned a lot about the Moon Palace's layout."

Zordon said, "That was excellent work, Tommy. Thanks to you and Kimberly, we are closer to being ready for the assault."

Kimberly asked, "Does that mean Katherine's mission is done?"

Zordon said, "Unfortunately, no. Alpha has seen what Katherine said to Goldar on the Viewing Globe. I believe Katherine intends to sow unrest in Rita's forces."

Kimberly said, "Turn the enemy against each other. That's smart, and that's nice payback for the times they tried to turn us against each other."

Suddenly, the alarm at the Command Center went off.

Alpha 5 cried, "Ay ay ay, Lord Zedd has sent Katherine to attack Angel Grove!"

Kimberly cried, "What!?"

Billy said, "Rita and Lord Zedd have turned Katherine into a cat monster."

Kimberly said, "And now we have to fight Katherine in our Megazords."

The Rangers morphed, and they arrived to face Katherine in the Thunder Megazord and the Ninja Megafalconzord.

Katherine stared at the two Megazords, and she felt a shiver of fear go down her spine. She has been on the Rangers' side of the fight so many times that she knows exactly what will happen. She had to keep herself from getting killed. To make things more complicated, Ninjor showed up as well!

Jason yelled, "Ninjor, wait! That's our friend! Rita turned her into a giant monster!"

Ninjor cried, "What!? That's horrible!"

Tommy asked, "Is there a way we can beat the monster without killing our friend?"

Katherine watched Ninjor talk to her friends about their plans. Katherine's heart hammered in her chest, and she tried to think of ways she could survive an attack. She could try running, of course, but that would make Rita and Lord Zedd kill her. She also didn't want to be killed by her friends.

Ninjor finally turned to Katherine, and he said, "I have a plan! I can turn into Super Mode and obliterate the cat form. It will make you transform into your Ninja form, and you will appear alongside your other Ninja Rangers. Nod if you understand."

Katherine nodded, eager to get through this tense moment. The thought of getting killed by her friends was still there in her head. It was different when they were human-sized. When they were human-sized, they fought Katherine until she retreated. This is different. There was no backing down from a Megazord fight.

Ninjor turned into his Super Mode, and he fired at Katherine. Katherine squeezed her eyes shut, expecting to be killed. She opened her eyes, and she was relieved that she was in her Ninja form. She was sitting inside the Ninja Megafalconzord, safe and sound.

Katherine hugged Tommy tightly and said, "I never want to go through that again!"

Tommy hugged Katherine, and he said, "Hopefully you won't have to."

The Rangers teleported back to the Command Center, and they stood before Zordon.

Zordon said, "Katherine, congratulations on getting this far on your mission."

Katherine said, "Thank you. What's the next step?"

Zordon said, "The next step is to continue sabotaging Rita's plans. Do that while we come up with a plan of attack."

Katherine said, "Understood. Rita seems to be interested in Tommy and Kimberly."

Kimberly said, "I noticed that. Is it because I'm with Tommy?"

Katherine said, "I think so. Also, aren't you practicing gymnastics for the Pan Global Olympics?"

Kimberly said, "I am." She thought for a moment, and she said, "She must want me to leave the team."

Zordon said, "That is very possible."

Kimberly said, "That reminds me, will I need a replacement when I go to the Pan Global Olympics? We were searching for Jason's, Zack's, and Trini's replacements for the Peace Conference when it looked like they might be part of the Conference."

Zordon said, "That was different. We only had six Rangers and three of you were going to leave for a few months. That was too long for the Rangers to be at half power. Now there are enough Rangers to defend Angel Grove while you are gone."

Kimberly smiled, and she said, "Thank you, that's a relief. It's for two weeks. Once that is over, I will be back with the team. I promise."

Tommy said, "I know you will be back. You have been loyal to us."

Kimberly smiled, and she took her helmet off to kiss Tommy's cheek. She turned to Zordon, and she asked, "What do we do about Rita's interest in me and Tommy?"

Zordon said, "For now, you will be on guard. Be prepared for Rita to try anything."

Katherine asked, "Would you like me to stay in the Moon Palace?"

Zordon said, "Only if Rita requires you to do so."

Katherine said, "Well, now that the cat monster is dead, I can return to my family."

Katherine demorphed, and she got ready to teleport out.

Kimberly stopped her and said, "I got an idea. Make Bulk and Skull find you. I want them to win. Just once."

Katherine smiled, and she said, "Perfect."

Katherine teleported to Angel Grove Park, and she saw Bulk and Skull talking nearby. Katherine made herself look scared and dirty, and she staggered over to Bulk and Skull.

Katherine cried, "Bulk! Skull! Help me, I'm scared!"

Bulk and Skull turned around to Katherine, and they ran over to her.

Bulk asked, "Where were you!? What happened!?"

Katherine said, "I don't know. One minute Rita captured me, and the next I was back here! The Rangers saved me!"

Bulk asked, "They did!? Where are they!?"

Katherine shrugged, and said, "You just missed them. They teleported away before I could thank them."

Skull groaned, "Aw, we missed them!"

Bulk said, "We will worry about that later! We need to return this girl to her family!"

Bulk and Skull returned Katherine to her family. Katherine's parents were clearly relieved. They had tears in their eyes, and they thanked Bulk and Skull profusely. Kimberly watched the whole thing unfold from the Command Center, and she smiled.

Kimberly said, "There's your win, Bulk and Skull. You reunited a lost girl with her parents."
