*Lumine has found Aether, everything is at peace, This won't spoil much because this story was always gonna have a happy ending anyway

**OOh OOh! Remember:

~Lumine mentally talking to Aether

-Aether mentally talking to Lumine

Where Sleeping Dragons Lie

So it's not like Venti forgot that the twins were older than time itself… but that's not something you actively think about ya'know? So when he went to check on the twins because he hadn't seen them in a few weeks, and saw them just sitting doing nothing, he assumed something was wrong. Ever since they finally got Aether back, he had been scared of losing him again to the stillness of when they found him. That had been… a bad time.

Venti started to panic a little before realizing that he should probably just make sure nothing was wrong BEFORE freaking out. He walked closer to the twins, and seeing their cores glowing assured him they weren't doing strange mental things like talking to people literally in entire other worlds, or dead. The twin's cores glowed often since they regained their powers, much like they always wanted to make sure the potential was still there, and not sealed away.

When he got within a three foot radius, they both opened their eyes and turned to him with that eerie synchronicity they had. (Yeesh that was freaky) He grinned, pretending he hadn't just been panicking, and said-

"What are my two favorite twins doing this fine morning? I haven't seen you in aaaaaaggggggeeeeesssssssss how am I supposed to compose more music if you won't even talk to me?! Or learn Spanish! I can't learn from anyone else! Besides, all you were doing was sitting there for like three weeks, haven't you gotten bored yet? Come on let's go fly, I still wanna figure out how you turn so fast!"

The only reaction he got was a blink.

"Venti, it's been a few hours, and we've been meditating. It's a great pastime, especially here on Teyvat with all the elements in constant motion. You should try it sometime, even Aether stops causing chaos when he does it."

… Venti was slightly flabbergasted. How could you have such a bad sense of time? Three weeks should never feel like just a few hours. Never. Three weeks was way too long to sit on the floor contemplating life. This called for an intervention. And some lessons on how to pay attention to time passing. For ancient beings such as the twins, perhaps this was less of an important skill to have, but damnit if Venti didn't want them to spend centuries sitting in one place. They had mortal friends! Mortal friends who wouldn't live forever! This was a crisis! Come to think of it… there were a lot of lessons these twins seemed to have not learned… maybe he could get some help teaching them the essentials.

Lutsen. Lutsen was friends with both of them, AND was able to convince them food was necessary. Surely he would be willing to help teach them more important lessons? Question was… how willing would he be. UUUUGH. This took too much brain power, he could figure it out later. Right now the twins needed to actually leave their house and do something. Like fly with him. Or go drinking with him. Or beat up Childe again with him. OR DO ANYTHING with him he sooooo bored.

Something Aether seemed to notice and take pity on. Well, as much as anyone could pity with that expression on one's face. (Aether was looking more feral than anything else with that grin) Venti decided to take matters into his own hands and drag these two crazies outside. Not that… y'know… he could really make them do anything against their will… being overpowered immortal deities with a cure for death… because of course that's who he befriended.

On second thought, maybe dragging them wasn't quite as smart a choice as it had seemed.

;

Lumine watched as her friend seemed to go over a few things in his mind. This was unacceptable. Whenever Venti came up with an idea, it ended in someone drunk and Venti in need of a nap. Preventative measures must be made. His brain would overheat otherwise.

So she took the best available option she knew, a nap. When in doubt, one should nap. Thus, she flared her core, and changed into her dragon skin. (a small version of course. Sternenlicht had only recently made its way back out of mythology, destruction wouldn't be very beneficial.) ~Brother~ She said.

~Our friend's brain is overheating. It is not used to activity such as thinking. I suggest we give it a break.~

-Of course. I noticed as well that he has been standing there for a while-

Her brother shifted into his natural skin as well, and gently snared Venti around the waist. The Archon barely seemed to notice. Aether carefully reeled Venti into his clutches, and curled himself around the poor guy. Lumine purred deep in the back of her throat and joined the cuddle pile. Venti finally seemed to notice and let out an undignified squawk at finding himself within the clutches of the twins. Aether just rumbled, and Lumine set her considerably sized snout down on Venti's chest. Eventually he would see sense and give in to the guarantee of a nice long nap.

;

Venti woke up surrounded by the soft warmth of summer sunshine on the beach. He sighed in content. Even if this wasn't necessarily something he had agreed to, it was still the best night of sleep he had in years. He snuggled back up to the soft scales cocooning him, drifting back into the darkness of sleep and the soft rumbling of the twins curled around him.

-;-

I was in a cuddle pile type of mood :)
