Another week had come and gone with lessons and it was time for the next Titan.
"You two ready?" Ashley asked Chloe and Penny.
"Yeah!" they agreed.
"Good," Ashley said, "mind if we fight the trainers along the path? One of the school Charcedet's wanted to come with me, and could use the training."
The other two nodded.
"While you do that, I can get Chloe to help hold things in place for me to add tools to the Vee Packs." Penny said.
"I'd be glad too," Chloe agreed as she and Penny climbed in Ashley's bag, while Ashley climbed on Miraidon.
On the way, they passed through South Province (Area 2), Ashley defeating Noa the Student, Sergio the Office Worker, pass the poke center and watchtower, defeating Manuel the Student and David the Office Worker, through Cortondo into West Province (Area one), defeating Yeray the Student, Aroa the Student, Neizan the Student, and Backpacker Asier, healing at the Pokecenter and continuing along the path, defeating Mireia the Musician, before Arven called.
"Yo, Ashley! Chloe! Penny!" he said as Chloe and Penny came to the opening of the bag, and looked out as well, both also in awe at how huge the area is in comparison to there current size. Though Penny did wonder how it would feel to use Ashley's giant fur as a bed, having used her eeveelutions as beds before (Sylveon had the softest, then Umbreon, Flareon was too hot for comfort, Vaporeon too wet, Jolteon to spiky, and Leafeon was too… plant like she didn't know how to describe it otherwise). "So from what I gather, seems like the Open Sky Titan lives somewhere up on this mountain… but there are all these crazy boulders raining down from the mountain, too! It's gonna be a little tricky to stand around and look for the Titan while dodging all those. I think you'll be sent flying if a falling boulder-but maybe you could power your way through atop that brute of yours!"
"That makes sense," Penny said as Arven hung up. "Miraidon is fast. You could use it to dodge the boulders."
"I don't want to watch this," Chloe said shivering and heading farther into the bag. "Falling boulders are bad enough. But in your bag I am shrunken which means the boulders are far bigger to me. I'll be in the back of the bag until we get past the boulders."
"Hope she is okay." Ashley said worried.
"I'm sure she will be," Penny said, "It is just an issue of size. And big threats being even bigger."
"I wouldn't know," Ashley said, thinking,l while riding up the path and dodging boulders. "Why don't we take turns with the bags. Me and Chloe can be in your bag next time, after that is a Team Star Base, so I can be in Chloe's bag then and so on. Taking turns so we all spend time normal size."
"Works for me," Penny said, wondering what a tiny Ashley would look like and blushing, having developed a small crush after spending so much time together and getting to know her.
When they reached the top past the boulders Penny went further into the bag and got Chloe as they got out of the bag and walked around the top of the mountain looking for the titan. Chloe sent out Pawmo, and walked around one side searching while Ashley and Penny searched another.
While looking the two of them jumped on top of a boulder in the ground for a better viewpoint.
"Wonder where the Titan is," Ashley said as they looked around only to pause when they were covered in a shadow, turning around they paled when they saw the Titan was a Bombirdier, and he was gathering the boulder they were on in his apron. "Oh no."
They then tumbled around as the boulder was wrapped in the apron with others and they ended up squished together at the bottom with a boulder on each side as they felt the Bombirdier take off.
"We're going to die aren't we?" Penny sighed, resigned.
"Probably," Ashley agreed, "I have strange luck, so it is possible something might save us at the last minute. But if not the fall will kill us."
"Oh," Penny said, thinking before sighing. "Hey Ashley?"
"Yeah?" she asked, confused.
"While getting to know you I had developed a small crush on you." Penny started. "I didn't do anything before because I didn't know if it would grow into love or go away, and I didn't know how to deal with it, but coming this close to death… if your luck kicks in, and saves us will you be my girlfriend?"
"I never thought about love before," Ashley said as Penny's hope drained, until she continued. "I know several of my past companions had crushes on me, but all but two were human, so I didn't give them a chance, and I was too young when I met the other two. I don't know if I will be a good girlfriend, but I enjoy your company and you are an Eevee now, not human, so I am willing to give it a try."
"Thank you," Penny said as Bombirdier released them, both with eyes closed in fear and holding onto each other. Only for Miraidon to pop out of its pokeball and catch them both.
Seeing they were still alive, they blushed before giving each other a kiss, and heading back up where they found Chloe and a newly evolved Pawmot had just found Bombirdier. And seeing ashley show up had her Terastalize and use Tera Blast to summon a massive amount of fairy energy to explode on Bombirdier, greatly damaging it enough to cause it to open up a cave, and eat Herba Mystica as Arven showed up.
"You three managed to get to the Titan somehow, huh?" Arven said. "So that's the Open Sky Titan… wait, is this Titan What's been dropping all those boulders?!"
"Yes," Ashley and Penny deadpanned.
"I was lucky enough to be able to sneak up here because it had all its attention on you three!" Arven continued. "It looks like it's trying to power itself up. Like with some kinda mystical Meal Power or something. So we'd better be ready to go all out!"
"Just Terastalize me again," Ashley said as Arven sent out Nacli and Penny sent out Jolteon, as the Bombirdier released a beam of power that made it stronger, and recharged the Tera Orb.
Their Tera Blast, Thunder, and Rock Slide, made short work of the Titan.
"Yesss! Way to go, you three! Looks like we don't have to worry about any more boulders falling on us now, huh?" Arven said as they approached the cave. "There has to be more of that Herba Mystica it ate in here Let's hurry and find it before the titan can come back for another go at us!"
With that they went in the cave and found Bitter Herba Mystica, where Arven put it into sandwiches, as well as giving them another Titan Badge. This time Arven made enough for Miraidon as well, and Ashley, Penny, and Miraidon glew brighter again. They also learned about Arven's partner Mabosstiff, before leaving the cave and having Professor Turo call and inform them his sensors had detected Miraidon had regained his ability to move across water. And with that they headed back to the academy.
