When they got to the academy Penny turned to face Ashley with a sheepish smile on her face.
"We should probably tell my Pokémon!" she said, getting Ashley to nod.
"Tell them what?" Chloe asked, getting them both to pause before Ashley facepalmed.
"I was so focused on the Titan I forgot you didn't know," Ashley said before explaining how they got together.
"Congratulations," Chloe smiled, before turning to Penny with a glare. "However, I see Ashley as a sister, so if you break her heart I will hurt you."
"Got it!" Penny said, rapidly nodding as Chloe stopped glaring.
"Good," Chloe said. "Now after you tell Penny's Pokémon you should go on a date. So I'll leave you to it."
The two of them then headed to Penny's room and entered through the newly installed cat flap used to make it easier to enter, Ashley's dorm has one too. And met the Pokémon Penny didn't take with her, who when they told immediately gave Ashley the same threat Chloe gave Penny.
Afterwards they headed to the school courtyard and sat together on the ground watching the stars, while cuddling and talking to each other about their pasts, of course they didn't tell everything, but most.
"Hey Ashley?" Penny asked, looking at her. "I have two questions to ask you, the first one… is, as a Zorua you are supposed to be twice my size, but you're not. Why is that?"
"I don't know," Ashley admitted, "when I was growing up something happened and I stopped growing at one foot. We never figured out why, but it was like my body was frozen in time. It is just something I learned to live with."
"Huh?" Penny said, "that's interesting. And two, Zorua are supposed to be mischievous, but I haven't seen you be like that. Is that normal?"
"Not really," Ashley said, "I have to constantly suppress that part of me. I spent most of my time as a human, so my love of pranks wasn't very useful for settling in."
"Oh," Penny said, "Is there anyone you want to prank now?"
"Nemona," Ashley said with a small glare. "Before the Treasure Hunt began she kept trying to get me and Chloe to drop the contest track for gyms. We finally had to tell her to leave us alone. Honestly she was acting as if not doing battles weren't real trainers."
"Well how about we prank her then?" Penny asked, "I'm good at hacking and I could use that to mess with her phone. We would just need to figure out what to do with it."
"You would do that for me?" Ashley asked, wide eyed.
"Of course!" Penny said, "It was my idea to watch the stars, so I also wanted to do something you enjoyed as well."
"I had fun watching the stars," Ashley said, "I got to know more about you. Though I won't say no to pranking if the offer is still available."
"Thank you," Penny smiled. "And it is."
"Then how about we make it so her phone randomly shows a video of a contest?" Ashley asked before thinking. "No… a showcase. Make her think it is someone from the Showcase Track instead."
"The Showcase Track put on a practice showcase a few years ago," Penny said, "they recorded it too. I can use that, and since that class has graduated she'll think it is one of them and not a current student. And we can download it through her phones trainer account so it will be downloaded whenever she accesses it, and be programmed to play at random times every hour. Even changing phones won't work then, and when we want to end it we just have to remove it."
"I love it!" Ashley cheered, following Penny to her dorm, where they used the newly installed hand attachment of their Veepacks to get typing, with Penny showing Ashley what to do to access the student account through the school staff accounts and how to hack into said accounts.
Afterwards they gave each other a good night kiss and went back to the dorms and went to sleep, while Nemona would be in for a shock when she next accessed her account.
