(Ten Years Later)
(No POV)
Ten years have passed since the tragic death of Sir Lionel. Adryan was now twenty-five years old and Kayley was twenty years old. The eldest sibling had become the man of the farm when he became an adult.
Adryan knew that his father would be proud of him because of how he took care of his sister and mother. He and Kayley had gotten closer since that day. He promised himself to take care of the two women that he loved dearly.
He wore a pale beige tunic with a brown vest on it. His hair was still the same as it was when he was fifteen. He looked so much like Lionel.
As for Kayley, she had become more free-spirited like her older brother. When she would go to the beach, she would remember when her and Adryan were younger. She would remember when Adryan would have his sword practice fight with their father, and she would remember when she would leap into her fathers arm.
Back on the farm, Adryan was brushing his horse inside the barn, the same horse he's had since he was ten. He saw a single pitch fork strick the biggest pile of hay that they had in the barn for their cows and horses.
He smiled at her, seeing how hard she was doing her chores flawlessly. After he finished taking care of his horse, he left the barn and walked to the house, seeing his little sister standing on the end of a stone ledge. He smiled at her free-spirited nature.
Lady Juliana walked out of the house, seeing her son walking up to the house. She also her daughter on that ledge, holding out her arms as sea gulls flew by her. Afterwards, Kayley walked down the ledge to meet up with her big brother and mother. They all then go inside the house.
