Izuku stood with his mouth agape as he stared at the building.

"I'm finally here." He said softly as if even he couldn't believe it.

"...Izuku, we've been here for the past ten minutes." Ryoya said dryly. "You've done nothing by stare and whisper like some creep." He said while pointedly ignoring the odd stares him and his friend were getting.

Izuku just blushed and laughed nervously. "O - oh right. I just can't believe we actually made it. This has been my dream school since as long as I could remember."

Ryoya just gave him a flat look. "Let's just go in. The longer we wait, the more people will get ahead of us."

"Fuck off Deku, Piss-Eyes." The sound of Katsuki's angry voice. He walked right up to them and was annoyed to no end that he had to glare upward. "Get the fuck outta my way, unless you wanna die."

Ryoya's calm facade broke. That stupid, childish nickname that Bakugo had given him due to his golden eye color was one of the few things that could consistently get under his skin. "Go around." Ryoya said with a glare that would kill lesser men. "It's too early in the morning for your bullshit."

Katsuki raised a sparking palm in an act of intimidation. "Who the fuck do you think you're talking to?"

"Go. Around. Unlike you, I don't care if we fight out here. I'll apply somewhere else. But I'm sure getting blacklisted on your first day for fighting in the parking lot really helps your 'perfect origin story'." The tan boy mocked, making sure to get directly in Bakugo's face while baring his fangs.

If looks could kill, Ryoya would've been a dead several times over. Bakugo growled like an animal before scoffing. "What the fuck ever. You both are fucking weak, quirkless fucks anyway. Think those little flashy lights and stupid tricks are enough to get you in, Deku? Don't make me laugh."

And with that, Katsuki walked around Ryoya and attempted to shoulder check Izuku.

The greenette didn't budge in the slightest. In fact, it was Katsuki who nearly fell over.

'What the ever loving fuck happened to Deku!?'

Now that the crisis was averted, if only for now, Izuku let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding.

Ryoya sighed. "God, I hate that guy. Sure, he's left you alone these past few months, but he's been on my ass. I should've fucking torched him from day one."

Izuku didn't doubt for a second that Ryoya would've actually done so with zero hesitation if the opportunity arose. He just laughed nervously. "Well, I'm glad you didn't. That would've uh, not ended well for anyone."

Ryoya just made a sound. "At least you don't cower in front of him anymore."

Ah, that was true. Izuku still didn't exactly feel comfortable in front of the ashen blond, but it was more of a case of lingering trepidation instead of fear.

"Y - yeah. Anyway, let's go. We've been out here for a while."

"Because of you, yes."

Then Izuku turned around and immediately tripped over nothing. 'Universe, why have you forsaken me!?' Being as trained as he was, he immediately leaned forward and ducked his head, clearly intending to catch himself with a roll.

"I'm honestly surprised that you managed to fall with your level of training, Midoriya-kun." Ochako said with a giggle. She waved to Ryoya, who just regarded her with a head nod. "Sorry for using my quirk though. I should've expected the roll."

"You should've expected him to walk like a normal person, Pink Cheeks-san." Ryoya said dryly while Izuku gave him a betrayed look. "Six years of training and you're nearly taken out by yourself."

"Weren't you the same guy who asked me if I saw your hair tie while you were holding it?" Izuku shot back. Ryoya had the grace to maintain his straight face, but Ochako could see the slight redness forming on the tips of his ears.

"...let's just go inside."

"WELCOME EVERYONE TO UA! EVERYBODY SAY HEEEEEYYY!" Present Mic said loudly and proudly while putting a hand to his ear.

Silence. Deafening silence.

Ever the performer, Mic continued on unabashed. "SUCH BOUNDLESS ENERGY FROM TODAY'S YOUTH. ALL RIGHT LISTENERS, I'M GONNA GIVE YOU A RUNDOWN ON HOW THIS GOES, CAPISHE?"

Once again, extremely loud silence. Mic heard a faint groan and someone say 'why is it always the blonds?' but ignored it.

"Oh wow, it's Present Mic! I haven't seen him since the tournament when we were kids. I listen to him on the radio every week! The lecturers at UA really are pro heroes."

"Yes, Izuku." Ryoya groaned while rubbing his temples. He was frankly getting a bit sick of this running joke. It was always the blonds.

"Shut up." Katsuki said through gritted teeth while trying not to glare at Izuku. Ryoya had (unfortunately) been placed between them anyway.

"PAY CLOSE ATTENTION, LISTENERS!" Mic carried on. "YOU'LL BE TESTING YOURSELVES BY RUNNING A TEN-MINUTE RUN AT ONE OF OUR CITY REPLICAS. TAKE WHATEVER YOU THINK YOU NEED! EVERYONE WILL BE GATHERING AT THEIR DESIGNATED MEETING SPOTS AFTER THIS, YA DIG?"

Katsuki leaned over to try see Ryoya's paper, but the boy's hand covered any information. "Eyes to yourself." He said with a dirty look. "We aren't in the same testing areas."

The blond scoffed. "Probably to prevent friends or classmates from teaming up." He then sneered. "Looks like you both are up shit's creek now. Tch. A shame too, I was hoping I'd get to crush you both."

"WE'LL BE ADDING A LARGE NUMBER OF 'VILLAINS' TO EACH AREA." Mic said while pulling a remote out of his pocket and clicking a button. The screen behind him came alive, a big box marked with 'you are here' written on it. "AND THEY'LL APPEAR IN THREE DIFFERENT VARIATIES WITH POINT VALUES FROM ONE TO THREE SCALED ACCORDING TO DIFFICULTY!" Mic clicked the remote again and the image changed to a silhouette using various attacks and the number above it's head going up. "YOU'RE GOAL IS TO DISPATCH AS MUCH VILLAINS AS YOU CAN! RACK UP A HIGH SCORE! YEAHHHHH! IT'S AGAINST THE RULES TO ATTACK OTHER COMPETETORS SO DON'T THINK ABOUT IT! DON'T DO ANYTHING UNHERIOC EITHER!"

"Sir! I have a question!" A tall boy with blue-hair and glasses at roughly Ryoya's height said while standing up sharply and stiffly. "On the hand-out, there's clearly four villain types listed, yet you only displayed three! Such an error would be an embarrassment for a top-tier academy such as UA! The reason we are seated here is because we seek guidance on the path of becoming model heroes! Moreso, you! The curly-haired kid!"

Izuku looked around confused before pointing to himself in confusion. Ryoya's face twitched. "Yes, you! You've been muttering since you got here and it's distracting! If you aren't here to take this seriously, then leave this place!"

Izuku sputtered out something close to an apology before Ryoya stood up and glared daggers at the blue-haired teen. "He's not distracting. I'm sitting right here and I can hear everything just fine. If something as simple as muttering is a distraction to you, you're really gonna be a piss poor hero. Are you sure you're the one who's not taking this seriously? You just cut off Present Mic when he clearly wasn't done explaining things." Ryoya said in a very annoyed tone. Izuku only marginally saw this coming. Ryoya wasn't the nicest person normally, but he was also way more nocturnal. Early morning Ryoya was a monster that he didn't want any parts of.

The glasses wearing teen looked scandalized for a moment before his own sputtering happened. People were snickering at the blue-haired teen's embarrassment.

"OKAY, OKAY, CALM DOWN LISTENERS!" Mic said with a sweat-drop. "THANKS FOR THE SEGUE THOUGH, EXAMINEE 7111! THE FOURTH TYPE OF VILLAIN IS WORTH ZERO POINTS! THEY'RE LIKE ARENA TRAPS! THINK OF THAT GAME 'SUPER MARIO BROTHERS', YOU REMEMBER THOSE THWOMPS?!"

"I see, sounds like one of those stage hazards to just avoid." Someone in the crowd said.

"Thank you very much!" The blue-haired boy shouted before bowing. "I apologize for being rude!" He felt a pair of predatorial eyes on him but didn't turn around and tried to ignore the feeling.

"WELL THAT'S ENOUGH OUTTA ME! LET'S MOVE ONTO THE MAIN EVENT. REMEMBER THE SCHOOL'S MOTTO, LITTLE LISTENERS! GO BEYOND,"

"PLUS ULTRA!"

Before he knew it, Izuku was standing front of the gates of one of the faux cities with other test takers flanking him. He changed into his normal All Might branded muscle shirt and sweat pants. He was currently doing some of the breathing techniques that Ryu and Ken taught him to calm his nerves. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a pair of brown, fingerless gloves gifted to him by his sensei before perking up at the sight of Uraraka. "Oh, thank god." He said while moving to approach her. "I wonder how she's feeling now."

Then he sensed someone nearing him and activated Mind's Eye on instinct. His hand snapped up and grabbed the wrist of someone looking to place a hand on his shoulder. "May I help you?" He tried to say politely and with a smile, but it came out tense through gritted teeth.

It was the stiff boy from the auditorium.

"Are you by chance here on behalf of UA to cause disruptions during the test?" He asked suddenly while chopping his hand through the air.

Izuku gave him a flat look. "No." He said while slowly letting the boy's wrist go. "I know that girl. She's my friend and I was just making sure she's okay. It's wrong to make assumptions about people you don't know, you know?" He said while giving the boy a pointed look and turning away.

Before he could approach Ochako however, Mic suddenly yelled.

"ANNNND START!"

And without hesitation, Izuku took off. If there was anything he learned from his years of training with Ryu, Ken and Ryoya, was that hesitation killed. (Read, meant getting kicked and/or punched in the face by a very large smiling man).

"WHAT ARE YOU STANDING AROUND FOR? THERE'S NO COUNTDOWNS IN REAL LIFE! LOOK, A COUPLE STUDENTS HAVE THE RIGHT IDEA!"

The students turned just in time to see Izuku firing a Hadoken and blowing up a one-pointer before dodging the missiles fired by a two-pointer without looking and punching it so hard, the metal dented.

Momo and Setsuna were sitting in the observation deck with the teachers. They, along with the two other students who passed the recommended exam had been invited to watch the general exam, and there was simply no way Momo could say no to that. She looked around from screen to screen, hoping to see any of her four friends currently taking the test and was a bit saddened when none of them appeared as yet.

"Thank you for coming today, students." Nezu, the small chimera creature greeted.

Momo had brought her parents, since they were the ones who recommended her. Next to her, were Todoroki and his father. Neither of the two said anything, and had barely spoken at all since they arrived. She oddly reminded her of Ryoya due to his impassive expression and calm, blank way of speaking. But that's where the similarities ended. Todoroki's eyes were cold, while Ryoya's were full of life and expressive. She looked over to see Setsuna trying and failing to make conversation with him, as the boy simply ignored any of her advances.

"We have quite the special guest today, but I'll let him introduce himself." Nezu concluded.

"I am coming through the door like a normal person!" A booming voice suddenly called out before the door was thrown open and All Might leaned inside.

Endeavor growled as All Might entered and took a seat among the teachers.

Nezu waved his hands to get everyone's attention. "Now, if you're curious. The test goes like such: there's four robots in the exam. The main three are worth one, two and three points respectively . The fourth one is a surprise usually withheld until the end of the exam, and is worth zero points. Applicants have a simple goal, simply amass as many points as possible within ten minutes by either destroying on deactivating the robots."

Momo then raised her hand and Nezu regarded her. "What about people who have don't have combat oriented quirks or ones that don't effect something inanimate like a robot? Or even quirkless people?"

Everyone raised a brow at the last part of the question, but it was Aizawa who answered in his tired glory. "Then its up to them to get creative and overcome that hurdle. If they haven't figured it out by now, or within the next ten minutes, they just aren't cut out to be heroes." He then paused. "As for being quirkless, well. It would simply be irrational for a quirkless person to join this exam."

Momo and Setsuna took issue with how he said that last part. But before either could voice this opinion, Nezu said spoke up in a dangerously cheerful tone.

"On the contrary, Aizawa-kun. Quirkless people have a right to join this exam just as everyone else does. In fact, we even have two this year!"

That little bombshell shook the room. Nezu raised his hand enough to silence the incredulous murmurings.

"Yes," The rodent said while clicking a button on his desk. The screens suddenly split vertically to show two students. Momo and Setsuna smiled in recognition. "Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to introduce you to our two quirkless examines. The first two in UA's history!" Nezu proudly proclaimed. The crowd watched in awe as, on the right screen, Midoriya masterfully evaded every missile fired at him and some people even raised brows when a missile seemed to avoid him by randomly flying off course when he raised a palm in it's direction. On the left screen would make any mechanic wince. Harushi walked among the countless pieces of scrap that littered an entire city block with the energy of a man taking a Sunday stroll. A robot seemingly got the jump on him by running out of a shadowed alleyway, but Harushi barely regarded it. He ducked under the robot's swipe and immediately kicked in the leg, causing the metal bend and snap before he swiftly crouched low and delivered a rising uppercut so strong, his fist broke cleanly though the robot's housing.

"Holy shit." Midnight couldn't help but to say.

"See? Told you, Aunty. Those two are absolute monsters!" Setsuna said proudly.

"Izuku Midoriya and Ryoya Harushi, quite powerful indeed." Nezu said while gauging everyone's reactions.

All Might was surprisingly the first person to speak. "Yes, young Midoriya and young Harushi have spent most of their lives training for this very moment. I know from personal experience that their training have been nothing short of harrowing. But they're shown true heroic spirit by coming out of it stronger than ever!"

"This is illogical." Aizawa said, completely killing the mood.

"Don't you recognize them, Sho?" Midnight questioned with a raised brow. "They're Tokage's friends we met at that one martial arts tournament."

"I know that," Aizawa said with a flat stare. "I was saying it is illogical to allow them in. I'll admit, they are physically impressive. But they're going to need more than some flashy punches and kicks to prove they're worthy of being heroes."

"I'd say they're a bit beyond physically impressive, Aizawa-kun!" Nezu waved him off. "The one-pointers are rather brittle, but even the average person can't break them that easy. The two and three pointers are just barely within the realm of requiring a strength or enhancement quirk to actually damage." As he said this, Nezu gestured to the screen to see Izuku kicking a two-pointer hard enough that it flew into another one.

"And also," Momo said slowly. "They both are holding back it seems. I've seen both Izu - Midoriya and Harushi use way more power than this, Harushi a bit more since he is one of my personal trainers and sparring partners, and I can personally assure you that there's much more to them than one would assume."

Todoroki raised a brow at that. Yaoyorozu had completely dominated the recommended exam, scoring equally to himself and tying for second place. If these boys were truly this powerful, he'd have to keep an eye on them.

"Six minutes and two seconds left, listeners!"

Then Izuku sparked up, and Ryoya blazed.

"Do they seriously have nothing tougher than this?" Ryoya questioned to no one in particular. He stopped counting his points around forty-seven, and as enemies grew more scarce. "I will say though, I'm surprised you and I ended up in the same place, Bunny-san."

As if on cue, Rumi fell out of the sky and crushed a one-pointer that was seconds away from harming a winded student. She was wearing a green tracksuit with the top unzipped and a black, form fitting tank top with the words "Killer Bee" on the chest. "Watch out next time! Saving you lot makes it harder to get points!"

"R - right! Thanks!" They ran off and Ryoya raised a brow.

"I don't know why, but I'm a bit surprised you chose to save someone."

"Eh? Fuck you, pretty boy! It's no use being the strongest if no one is there to notice it!" Rumi shot back with a fierce scowl.

"Is that how you're rationalizing it? Would it kill you to just admit you want to save people too?" Ryoya said with a deadpanned stare.

"What? Of course! Someone has to save these weaklings who can't save themselves!" She proclaimed but a small blush. "You better get in, pretty boy. Or I'm kicking your ass!" With that, Rumi bounded off, leaving Ryoya to watch her retreating form with a grin.

"Save weaklings who can't save themselves, huh?"

"Six minutes and two seconds left, listeners!"

"Ah, I've wasted enough time." After a brief moment, Ryoya's ki in it's wispy, black raw state appeared around him, spiraling like a candle flame like it always did. 'Heat Rush!' His hands and feet immediately caught fire and he took off, leaving a trail of fiery footsteps.

Izuku dodged another hail of gunfire, ducking behind a collapsed bus stop. He grabbed a piece of rubble and threw it up to distract the robot, and when the bullets hit the rock, Izuku moved. He leapt over the rubble and dashed forward, firing off a a ki enhanced axe kicked that shredded through the metal.

Two robots approached him from behind but before he could act, he heard someone yell something. "Release!" Three more robots that he hadn't even noticed fell out of the sky and crushed the other two.

"That was amazing, Uraraka-san!" Izuku said with a bright smile. Uraraka blushed a bit at the praise before smiling. She was currently using One For All and the pink sparks around her body made her look ethereal against the backlight of the burning faux city.

"Sorry for stealing your points."

Izuku waved her off. "You didn't steal them, you saved me!" He corrected. "And don't worry about it, I was at forty-something points anyway. I just kept stopping to help people."

"I'm in the forties too! Wanna see who can get more before time's up?" She said innocently, but Izuku knew better. Competitive Uraraka was a girl to be taken very, very seriously.

"Six minutes and two seconds left, listeners!"

They both used that for their unspoken starting point. Ochako dashed away quickly, and Izuku, not one to be undone, flared up his inky, black ki.

'Denjin Renki!'

"Um, partner?" Snipe said cautiously. "Those two ain't looking so quirkless to me. What gives?"

"Ah yes, Snipe." All Might answered. "I can personally attest to their quirklessness. What you're witnessing now is the result of hellish training to unlock the very power of one's soul."

Endeavor gave him a flat look. "Do you really expect us to believe such drivel, All Might? What do you take me for?"

"Ah, but All Might is right, Enji-kun!" Nezu chirped. "I won't lie to you and say I fully understand it myself. But what I can confirm is that both Midoriya-kun and Harushi-kun really are without quirks. They have the toe joints and everything."

"So how is such a thing possible without quirks?" It was Vlad King who asked with a raised brow. He looked over to Setsuna and Momo, the two who were proclaimed friends of the two.

"Honestly, no idea, sir." Setsuna said with a shrug. "As long as I've known them, they've just sorta always been strong. Then one day, a few years ago, boom. Out of nowhere, they shoot up in height, gain a ton of muscle and could pick me up as easily as breathing. Then they started doing this... black energy thing. Midoriya's is like ink while Harushi's is more wispy." And Setsuna knew that personally too. Many times had she thrown herself on both of them and each and every time, they caught her with a surprising amount of ease. Sure, she wasn't the heaviest girl around, but to be able to pick up another person with so little effort was a bit wild. Hell, Ryoya could even pick up Momo with seemingly less effort and her quirk made her at least twice as dense as a normal person!

"They are definitely worth consideration, if nothing else. It's been so long since something unprecedented appeared at my doorstep. Normally it's I who has to look for mysteries!" Nezu then cackled and everyone in the room suddenly felt bad for the duo who had caught Nezu's eye. When he stopped laughing, he pressed another button to return the massive amount of screens to their default cameras. "Such a wide battlefield and such limited time tends to bring out the best in our hero hopefuls."

The cameras focused on a tall, shirtless boy with six arms, each ending with either eyes or ears. "Those who can assess the situation in an instant. The ability to search and locate targets amidst confusion."

The camera cut again Rumi dancing between multiple robots with a feral grin as she disabled them with brutally powerful kicks, then to Izuku who suddenly appeared in front of a purple haired boy with wild hair who'd been knocked down. "Those who'll never be late to the party," Nezu said as they watched Izuku kick the robot away before helping the boy up and pointing a palm behind him. Everyone watched in amazement as a piece of rebar flew to Izuku's hand before giving it to the examinee. "...and the drive to help those in need."

The screen changed again to Bakugo, a manic smile etched on his face as he dove into a wave of robots and engulfed them all in an explosion. When the smoke cleared, he was already moving onto the next set of robots. The principle frowned when he saw the boy ignore a downed student then realized why he wasn't moving. He was acting as a shield as another student with spiked red hair charged in to grabbed the downed examinee. Then the scene cut to Ryoya standing defiantly between a group of five robots and a girl with purple hair and long ears clutching the sides of her head in pain. They took note how he carefully and swiftly picked the girl up in his arms and dodged all of the missile fire before leaping away. He placed her a good distance away before punching the ground and they watched as a wave of fire tore through the concrete and swallowed the robots whole. "And those with will to protect, no matter what."

"This year's crop is a bit insane, isn't it?" Snipe joked. "All Might, ain't you launching the zero-pointers this year, partner?"

"Oh- oh, right." All Might cleared his throat as he approached a comically large button with the words 'Yaruki Switch' under it. "Now then, time to see which one of them will truly prove themself and go beyond," He pushed the button. Immediately, various testing grounds started rumbling as the zero pointers came to life. "Plus Ultra."

'You've got this, young Uraraka and young Midoriya! Show the world the power of the next Symbol of Peace and Symbol of Hope!'

Izuku watched with wide eyes as the robot towered over the buildings between him and it. As he looked up at it, he remembered how he felt both times the day at the mall. "Th - that's insane! I better get out of here." He kept his eyes on the giant robot while watching everyone else run away, one of which was the stern, blue haired boy who scoffed at him, not that he noticed. He reactivated Denjin Renki and took a stop forward.

"Help!"

And immediately turned around. It was a voice he recognized. He quickly scanned the area where the voice came from and saw it.

It was a girl he knew very well, with short black hair and big blue eyes. Yui was pinned under some rubble that collapsed at some point during the zero-pointer's advance. She reached for the rubble and touched it, but he could see the exhaustion on her face and the fact that the rocks on got a bit smaller for a second before returning to it's normal size.

He ran forward to help. "Hey, it's fine, Yui. I'm here now. I'm gonna get you outta this!" Yui looked visibly relieved to see him and nodded. He used Denjin Renki to try to move the large piece of rubble but it was lodged against a wall and he didn't trust himself to go all out without potentially harming his friend. While Denji Renki made him far stronger than he was already, it also had the biproduct of electricity, which he didn't have the convenience of simply turning off while keeping the strength. "Hey!" He yelled out to a few others still running by. Most kept running, almost all of them in fact, but a rather tall boy with extra arms and the same purple haired boy he helped from before.

The ground shook. The zero-pointer was looming ominously over them, blocking out the sun.

Then Izuku felt a familiar ki signature and smiled. "Uraraka-san!"

Ochako was there in an instant. She touched the rubble trapping Yui and the whole pile rose. Izuku immediately grabbed his friend and pushed her into the large boy's arms. "Get her to safety!"

"What're you going to do against that that?" Ask the purple haired boy.

But it was Ochako who answered. "We're gonna stop it!"

Setsuna, at this point, was holding onto Momo's arm so tight, he taller girl was starting to lose the feeling in her hand.

"It's alright, Set." Midnight said easily. "The zero-pointer's not actually going to kill them. It's programmed to stop before any fatal injury happens."

That did seem to ease Setsuna's mind, but not much.

"What is the boy doing?" Aizawa asked. "It is irrational to not just leave since they succeeded in the rescue."

"Such excitement this year. Normally, everyone runs from the zero pointer, but this time, we have two people attacking it."

Momo's head snapped to the other screens. She really hoped the other people fighting the gargantuan robot wasn't who she thought it was. She was already planning to read Midoriya the riot act once this was over, but if it were Ryo-kun too, she might have a conniption.

"Ah yes, Usagiyama seems to be trying to take down, but she's in a bit over her head." Snipe said casually. "Girl's tenacious if nothing else."

Momo let out a sight of relief.

"Oh, it seems like young Harushi has decided to join her."

Momo immediately felt herself suck in another breath. Why were her friends like this?

"You're an idiot, Bunny-san."

Rumi scowled at him. Her legs were a bit raw and in pain from kicking so much metal and she might've went a bit overboard when trying to charge at the zero-pointer. But it wasn't her fault! Some invisible girl was about to get crushed and if Rumi hadn't acted when she did, the girl would've been pinned. Sure, she was violent and an adrenaline junkie, but she was trying to be a hero, damn it!

She leaned on his shoulder for support. "Hey, shut up. Did you come back to help or chastise me?"

"Both."

Rumi gave Ryoya a look and he chuckled. Then another thundering step shook the city block. "Invisible-san." He said, turning his eyes exactly where he knew the invisible girl was. She squeaked under his very direct gaze. "Can you help Bunny-san away? I can deal with that thing."

Rumi scoffed. "What!? Are you fucking insane!?"

Ryoya just shrugged "Probably... or my friends are really bad influences. I blame you for this, by the way." He made sure to be gentle when allowing Rumi to shift her weight over from him to the invisible girl. Rumi stuck her tongue out at him.

Once they got a fair bit away, Ryoya took his stance and his ki blazed around him more than before. Then he took a deep breath. 'Heat Rush - Blue!' His entire body produced an incredible amount of blue flames that lit up the city block and beyond. Even though they weren't as close, Rumi still felt the very intense heat as Ryoya glared at the zero pointer.

'I can't take the thing out in one hit, but I don't need to. Just wait until it raises its foot and cause it to tip over... right there.'

With the full might of his Heat Rush and his blue flames operating at max power, Ryoya clenched his right fist and reared it back. Then he punched the ground just as the zero pointer entered it's stride. "Power Geyser!"

True to it's name, a literal geyser the size of a two story building of blue flame erupted from the point of impact, kicking up an impressive amount of scorched debris and shot up at an angle towards the zero pointer. Due to Ryoya's timing, he caught the foot at it's apex, and due to the sheer force and power behind the geyser, the zero pointer immediately fell back.

"Huh, Bogard was right. That is really fun."

"Holy fuck." Setsuna just couldn't help herself.

Momo was taking this much easier. After all, she knew how strong Ryoya was. She had been trained by him after all and had seen what she thought was the extent of his blue flames. But that didn't mean she still wasn't in awe over the sheer display. She had very little doubt in her mind that her friend, either of them, would fail this exam.

Endeavor and Todoroki were floored. Neither had taken their eyes off of Ryoya since he revealed his flaming abilities, but seeing him use blue fire was... eye opening. For Todoroki, Ryoya suddenly unknowingly put himself at the top of his hit list. He has proven himself to clearly be the biggest obstacle in his path to becoming number one.

And the look in his eyes... they reminded him too much of his bastard of a father. The calculating intelligence hidden by an apathic stare. He used fire, just like him. Used devasting attacks, just like him...

Yes, Ryoya Harushi will be a target.

Endeavor was floored for completely different reason. Blue flames left a very, very sore spot for him. They reminded him far too much of his greatest mistake as a man, father and hero. But here this boy was, wielding such a power with grace and fluidity like it was less of a tool and more like a limb. The memories of that faithful day on the mountain were almost enough to completely drag Enji's mind away from the display.

Almost.

"Are we sure they're quirkless?" Someone asked.

"Aha, young Harushi! You certainly know how to steal the show!"

After the boys (Shoji and Shinso, they introduced themselves as) took Yui away, Izuku and Ochako immediately answered the call to action.

"Uraraka-san! Do you think you can take it out if I hold it in place?" Izuku asked while weighing his options. On one hand, he could probably generate a big enough magnetic pulse to completely stun the behemoth at least for a time being while Uraraka used One For All to take it down.

"N - no! Not yet! I can't use that much power yet or I'll get hurt." She explained and Izuku swore. She was right. One For All would probably completely shatter her limbs if she used enough power to take this thing down. At least, if she just used One For All.

"I have an idea! Power up as high as you can and touch the zero-pointer!"

Ochako listened without hesitation, powering up to 7% of her power while pink energy sparkled chaotically around her body. She dashed forward while Izuku held his ground, cuffing both hands on his right hip. Ochako removed the gravity from the robot and immediately nearly threw up. This was by far the heaviest thing she ever even attempted to move and she already could honestly feel herself losing the pull.

"Whatever you're planning, do it!" She yelled while going a bit green in her face.

"Right!" Izuku's ki suddenly visually expanded. Denjin Renki deactivated but blue-ish, inky ki streaks started to swirl and gather between his hands. It reminded Ochako of flowing water. 'I was waiting to pull this out against you, Ryoya. But I've got no choice now!' A second later, Izuku's whole body flashed in the blue-ish white light. "Now! Shinku HADOKEN!" Izuku fired.

An incredible wave of energy shot out of Izuku's hands and slammed into the underside of the zero-pointer. The metal folded in immediately on impact and shot straight through and out the other side. Due to having it's gravity removed, the massive creation immediately flew back no less then twenty meters before Uraraka couldn't hold it any longer. When gravity returned, damage was already and the robot exploded.

"Time's up!"

"Holy fuck." Let it be known that Setsuna was a master of words.

The observation deck was deathly quiet. All Might's grin was so wide, it was beginning to hurt.

"Are we positive these children are quirkless, rat?" Endeavor asked seriously, never once taking his eyes off the screen.

Nezu just cackled.

Then Uraraka promptly puked and the lip-less teen spoke up for the first time since they got in the room. "Did she just throw up a rainbow?"

A/N: And my update streak continues. The reason I can update so fast is honestly because of the reception I've been getting. This story is over 12,600 hits at the time of posting this, and with all the reviews, follows and favorites, it helps my motivation. Geez, Rumi owns a Killer Bee branded track suit. I'm sure that's not a clue to who the hero who replaced her is. kek

At this point, I've revealed two Specials for Midoriya. The Denjin Hadoken and Shinku Hadoken. He has one more Special up his sleeve. Ryoya finally shows one of his, the mighty Power Geyser. Fans of SNK know where that comes from. He has two more to show off. They both have three each, at least for now.

Marbled Gold: Thanks! I'm really enjoying the Rumi/Ryoya dynamic as well. They work so well because she's so... her and Ryoya just is so... him.

rjkeith: Thanks for enjoying it. Ryu in this, I can confirm, does have his Shin Ryu form. He just failed to kill Akuma like Akuma mentioned. Gee, I wonder what happened to make him fail. hehe

solbandgus: You don't have to apologize for missing reviews on chapters. I know I update fairly quickly, my mostly because I'm motivated by all the interaction. I know I won't be able to maintain this speed, but I'll go as long as I can. Also, Burn Knuckle really just depends. Some games has it with the fire effect, while others don't. Some games are blue fire, some aren't. And like you said, sometimes it's not fire at all. Maybe Mai shows up later... who knows?

Ryuujin96: Thanks for consistently reading. Izuku giving advice to Ochako was something I had planned since the mall part where he brought it up about how exactly he uses Denjin Renki. I also really enjoyed writing Rumi vs Ryoya two. It shows that the boys have enough power to compete easily with quirked people, even with strong mutant quirks like Rabbit. Though Rumi's speed being above Izuku's even when he's using ki, but below when he's using Denjin Renki is a bit nuts. Ah yes, Ryoya's reasonings finally came to light. Ever since his talk with Ryu and All Might calling him a villain, he's been thinking about that. He may still doubt himself down the line, but for now, he's going to be a hero.

Animeguy1101: Answered on AO3, I believe. Thanks as always.

NinjaFang1331: More will be coming up eventually lol. I don't really plan when I'm going to write, I just sorta get the urge and it happens. :V
