It was apparent that even though the south wing was for minor injuries, they needed the most staff. These tents were almost filled up, three people a tent, with visibly tired staff. I could tell they were relieved when we came.

"Working together on this one?" I asked

"Gets things done faster I suppose," Neji concluded. "Let's do it."

We entered a tent with one of our own basic training nurses and the visibly frustrated villager nurse. "Hello, I am Uzumaki Sakura, and this is Hyuga Neji, is there anything you need assistance with?"

"Ah T-Tsumagi, and yes!" He leads us to a child on the far left groaning in pain. "He's been like this all day but with limited resources, I can't tell what could be wrong with him. I suspect some bone is broken, whenever I try to touch him on his torso area, he screams in pain."

"I'll take it from here Sakura-san."

"Right, and the other child, what wrong with her?"

Tsumagi sighed as he flipped back a few pages on his clipboard. "The report says that she fell from one of the rocks and landed on her side really bad." The little girl looked to be out of it but subconsciously clutching her side. "It's bruised but she's been throwing up little bits of blood. If I knew how to do those healing techniques, I would, but there's only a few of us here who know that ninjitsu, the rest are overworked and or over in the north wing tending to those other children."

"Did you give her something for the pain?"

"The best I could give her was some pain medicine, small doses since she is pretty small, and some sleeping pills. She's been out for a while, but as you can see," he gestures to her small hand holding onto her side, "She's still in great pain."

'That's alright, let me see what I can do." I reassured him and got to work on the little girl. Since she was out like a light, it is much easier to examine the area. I lifted her shirt and was met with a huge black and blue spot on her side. I gently felt through the skin and discovered the problem immediately. "Tsumagi, she has two broken rib cages. What I'm going to do is heal her using that technique but still, she'll be in pain. Once she wakes up, make sure to give her some medicine."

"Right!"

As I focused my chakra into my hands and began healing, I looked over and observed Neji.

"I see the problem."

"Yes, Hyuga-san?'

"With my Byukkagan, I can clearly see he's broken a rib as well and a bruised stomach."

"Of course, just as I suspected! But how can we-"

"You can that to me, Tsumagi-san." Neji then placed his hands over the child's torso and a familiar glowing green light appeared.

So he knows medical ninjutsu now... I wonder when he learned? I'll have to ask later.

Three hours pass rather quickly as we tend to two more injured children. From a broken leg to a concussion to stomach contusions...it was so much. But I'm most with Neji. Though not on my level, he showed proficiency throughout the whole process, barely needing my help. Which reminds me...

"Hey, Neji." We were taking a twenty-minute break to replenish our chakra outside one of the tents. "Since when did you become so good in medical ninjutsu?'

"It was before Hinata-san gave me the title of the clan leader. While she continued to make changes surrounding our branch and hierarchy system and the seals, with some convincing from lady Tsunade, I decided to take up medical ninjutsu, While there weren't any big threats like when we were kids still around, there were still some people who...felt a certain way about the sudden change Naruto brought. So, I thought I'd take up medical ninjutsu to help out more than I already can."

"I see. With your Byukkagan, you can already see our chakra points."

"Exactly. Lady Tsunade stated that with my Byukkagan combined with my skill in the medical field, I could help wounded ninjas from the war with injuries that have affected their chakra flow. "

"And how's that been?"

"Very fulfilling..very fulfilling indeed. I may implement these skills in the next-gen of Hyuga..."

Didn't he say he was the new clan leader? It's been a long time since then, the last time we even spoke about that was when it was Hinata who was clan leader. Naruto did as promised and help change the oppressive system but I'm assuming the real work was done by both he and Hinata...

"Speaking of..it has been some years since we last spoke of the state of the Hyuga clan. How is it now?"

A small but noticeable smile form on his face. "It...is the way it should have always been. The branch and hierarchy's oppressive system is no longer in place, instead, clan leaders are chosen from the strongest family. When Hinata-san was in power, like I said, she abolished the caged bird seals." Neji unties his forehead plate and reveals a new seal. "We use these instead."

"Wait, why get new seals?"

"The seals were first introduced with an oppressive purpose. With these new seals and new leadership, these seals are meant to protect us from thieves that come to steal our Byukkagan."

"Amazing... I'm very proud of you and Hinata-san and how far you both have come from our genin days. I know I wasn't all the way there to see it but..from what I can see right now, the Hyuga clan is in great hands."

"Thank you, Sakura-san." He smiles at me and gets to his feet. "We should get back."

I get up as well and stretch and jokingly say, "Round two."
