When they got to the dorm, Ashley, Chloe, and Penny set on the bed.
"What did you need to talk about?" Ashley asked.
"Before we continue, Penny, you've been here longer then us. Do you know the names of the two team star bases we haven't beat yet?"
"Yeah," Penny nodded. "The Segin and Navi squads."
"I was afraid of that," Chloe sighed, to the others confusion. "The bases we have beat already are named Schedar, Caph and Ruchbah, which puts a rather bad twist on our actions."
"I'm not sure what you mean," Penny said.
"Me neither," Ashley agreed, before sighing. "But speaking of our actions with what we learned about Team Star I no longer feel mad about them. Every other group with Team in it I dealt with were criminals. Team Rocket, Team Magma, Team Aqua, Team Galatic, Team Plasma, and Team Flare were the worst trying to use legendary pokemon to take over the world, or reshape it in their image. Team Skull weren't so bad, but they deliberately bullied others. Team Star in comparison are saints. But because of the actions of the former deputy Director they were labeled bullies like Team Skull."
"They were the ones being bullied, only to end up being called bullies because they stood up for themselves," Penny added. "But what does that have to do with the base names?"
"Schedar, Caph, Ruchbah, Segin, Navi…" Penny sighed. "I studied a lot and I know that they are named after the five brightest stars in the constellation Cassiopeia. I realized the connection when I tried to figure out who the big boss was by their base names. If I'm right then Cassiopeia is the big boss. Though I don't know why she doesn't just order them to disband."
"Do you know Penny?" Ashley said looking at Penny, which was suprised and with a hint of fear in her eyes. "Judging by what Mr. Harrington said and what I know about you. I'm pretty sure you are the student sent for overseas study after taking responsibility for their actions, meaning you were likely a member as well."
This made Chloe gasp, as Penny decided to come clean.
"It is in the code." Penny said. "It says that no member of Team Star had the right to order anyone around, and the squad bosses have to accept challenges and give away their Star Badges when defeated, hence, forcing them to step down as squad boss. It is why I needed to create Operation Starfall instead of disbanding them myself. But if they don't disband they could be expelled, and although I only talked to them as Cassiopeia the same way I did you two, and they do not know who I really am, I still consider them friends."
"You're Cassiopeia?" Ashley said in shock, as Penny curled in on herself.
"Yes," Penny said, "I am Cassiopeia, the big boss of Team Star. I'm sorry I never told you. I understand if you want nothing to do with me now."
Seeing Penny looking about to bolt, Ashley tackled her in a hug. "Never, I already said that with what we've learned about Team Star I no longer hate them. I only did before because of my many bad experiences with other teams in the past. Honestly if I had been asked before I started my journey and met those teams, I would have willingly joined Team Star. I was bullied myself and wish I had a group like Team Star to help me then."
"You don't hate me?" Penny asked. "Even though I kept it secret?"
"Of course not!" Ashley said, "and the fact you are going through all this trouble to help them, well I can't help but love you more."
"Thank you," Penny sighed, before they told stories the rest of the night about their pasts Team Star for Penny, how they ended up here for Chloe, and that and the past experiences with the other Teams for Ashley, which left Penny cuddling up with Ashley and refusing to let go, making Chloe have to cuddle them both where they went to sleep.
