As the Night Daze was rushing to them, Ashley and Penny heard the sound it made coming and pushed Chloe out of the way and jumped off.
"Great…" Ashley said, "looks like she did see the stream. What rotten luck."
"How powerful is she?" Chloe asked.
"Powerful enough she took down a legendary when I was 6," Ashley said, causing the others to pale, before Chloe released Chien-Pao.
"Then Chien-Pao has the best chance," Chloe said. "As a legendary itself it is the strongest pokemon we have."
Chien-Pao started off with Sacred Sword, which Delia countered with Focus Blast, and while Ruination weakened her, she was still very powerful, and knew both Fire and Fighting type attacks which were very effective. Of course Chien-Pao was a trained legendary, not a wild one like she fry bought before, thus was able to hold its own until Delia used an illusion to make it trap itself, and fired a Night Daze at Chloe after using Nasty Plot to maximize its special attack.
"No!" Ashley and Penny yelled jumping in front of the attack and using protect, while both Kirlia's sensing the danger, and massive amount of dark energy coming did the same.
Unfortunately the attack was just the first as Delia used a barrage of Night Dazes, and the second to last of the multiple attacks broke their Protects and the last one sent the four of them flying into the nearby neon sign. Shattering both it, and the Kirlia's Everstones. The energy released from that, combined with the electricity flowing through them, and their psychic power distorting time in their stress caused the Kirlia to evolve into pokemon not recognized, but looked like a mechanical Gallade/Gardevoir combo. Meanwhile the extra energy flowed into Ashley and Penny, and changed them as well.
The two of them saw nothing but blackness before a blue line crossed their vision, and played what looked like a security video.
They saw a pair of scientists talking in front of an unactivated mechanical/Robotic version of Zorua and Eevee, both the same size as Ashley and Penny, and with metallic versions of their coloring.
"Behold, it is done!" the first scientist said.
"The Zorua is kind of small don't you think?" the second scientist said.
"I only had enough of the metal I made their body from to make them this size," the first scientist admitted. "And while they are too small to have a Quark Drive installed as a power source, but I got around that by making their stomachs a fire powered engine/generator that produces electricity to power them by burning the same food they ate in the long ago past. All that is left is to download their moves, including one that uses their energy to make a forcefield of fire and electricity. Like a Protect that doubles as an attack to those that touch it. I named the move Offensive Protect. With this the Zorua and Eevee species will no longer be extinct, I will call them Iron Trickster and Iron Soul respectively!"
"We will see," the second scientist said as the first scientist opened a hidden hatch on the base of the necks revealing an extending cable above an input port he plugged into a nearby computer, connecting them to the computer as a massive amount of code far beyond both of them appeared on the screen, before the scientist went to a blank section, and copy and pasted a series of codes from another file with their moves, one for each of them. Once the download finished. He retracted the cables, closed the hatch and forced a Berry down both of their throats activating their stomach engines as they powered on as electricity flowed through them.
"Zor?" the Zorua said, looking at the scientists
"Eve?" the Eevee added as the video cut out.
Suddenly the blue line returned and their vision returned in virtual blue before filling in with color as they noticed they had somehow become the same as the Zorua and Eevee they had seen in the video. All the way down to the fire based engines in their stomach, being made of metal, and now that they were awake being able to see they had the same pupils as Miraidon. They also could sense their new coding.
"Are you two okay?" Chloe asked, looking at them.
"We are fine!" they said after running a system diagnostic which they found strange. "It will just take a bit to get used too."
"Well when both Kirlia evolved into those pokemon that look like Iron Valiant from the book of Violet the extra energy turned both of you into what you two are now. The pokedex has no data on you except, you both are Fire/Electric Type, and have the ability Mecha body, which apparently means you are made of a previously unknown metal that grant's you the Resistances of Steel Types but not the weaknesses, meaning you only need to watch out for Water and Ground Type attacks. Also the Iron Valiants they decided to go by that name, are now Fairy/Fighting with an ability called Quark Drive and managed to take Delia down when she was distracted thinking she had killed you. The police took her away, and I'm sorry… but they said with what she has done she will probably be put down."
"I understand," Ashley sighed as Penny nuzzled her, their body sensors giving very different sensations they would need to adjust to. "We saw a video that might help explain about our new bodies."
"Here, while I didn't understand everything in our new code I did recognize a projection ability." Penny said as her eyes glowed and she projected the video into the air in front of them."
"Well that explains what a Quark Drive is," Chloe said, "It appears to be in the far future. And considering Everything that happened you probably got turned into the versions of you from that time."
"Can we just go back to the dorms?" Ashley asked, "with what's going to happen to my mom, I just want to forget about today."
"Of course!" Chloe nodded as they took a flying Taxi back to the academy.
