Later that day all the huntresses and campers stood together all packed up when Zoe pick up a small voice asking if the sun was getting bigger, "no that's just Apollo coming to pick us up. Keep your eyes averted as he starts to park."
He stepped out of the car, "everyone hop in."
Zoe replies about how not everyone can fit in the bright red Maserati.
"I hate taking out of sports mode but when needs must." He takes out the keys and presses a couple buttons, suddenly the Maserati turns into a school bus.
"Right," he said. "Everybody in."
Following that Zoe ordered all the hunters to start loading all their equipment. She picked up her camping pack, and Apollo reached out a hand and said, "here sweetheart, let me get that for you." But Zoe was having none of it and she caught Apollo's hand and politely yet frigidly said, "remember what milady said to you about flirting with you milord." Apollo gulped nervously, "that'll she will castrate me."
"Exactly."
At that Apollo moved his hand away and got on the bus.
The Hunters piled into the bus. They all crammed into the back so they'd be as far away as possible from Apollo and the rest of the highly infectious males, Bianca sat with them, leaving her little brother to hang in the front with Apollo, but Nico didn't seem to mind. It seemed that no one thought to tell him that his sister was leaving him for a promise of immortality. However what no one seemed to notice was a man reclining in the shadows as he watched the hunters and the campers boarding the sun. "This is why I hate those bastard Olympians, only caring about their own gain and their own power; no care for ripping families apart as long as she gains more worshippers. With me in charge nothing like this would happen."
Deep in the depths of Tartarus
Near the river Phlegethon, in a cave a young man kneels in front of an extravagant coffin with the image of a scythe and a sickle crossing each other. The man had sandy blonde hair and striking blue eyes that kept on flickering gold. Either side of the coffin there were two Lastrygonian giants, each with a sword strapped to their backs and a jug of flaming red water in their hands. Suddenly the man starts to speak.
"Lord Kronos, they are boarding the sun on the way to camp."
"Good, good. And what of my eldest?"
"He's watching them, should we try to approach him again?"
"No! I don't understand though he always put family first."
"I think we should approach him whilst he is visiting Nyx."
"Nyx; why would he be visiting… you should have told me this. He is siding with family but he has chosen his grandmother's side over ours."
"If I may be so bold milord, who is his grandmother?"
"Ah young Castellan, his mother was one of the Keres making his grandmother the primordial Nyx."
"Why have we never heard of him then?"
"My children wiped all evidence of existence after he was banished. Either way the more important thing is to tell our troops that there is a third side to this war and to not trust Atlas."
"Yes milord."
The young man unsheathed his sword from his scabbard and spun it around in a circle, from there a portal formed to a bunch of mountains. He stepped through the portal and stood it from of numerous monsters and several titans.
"We have been betrayed, Atlas has decided to side with Perseus and Nyx in order to create a third side to this war. But we shall emerge triumphant, no one shall conquer us. This is our time for vengeance." He ended with a roar.
"Atlas is no son of mine, I disown him for this betrayal."
"Well then!" Luke said, ignoring Iapetus' comment, "let's us prepare for war."
