The rest of Meg's pregnancy had gone rather smoothly as had their relationship. Christine enjoyed the hormones that had appeared during the fifth month. Having a horny, easily turned on girlfriend was something that she found more enjoyable than she ever thought it would. The only downside was that it had sometimes happened at inopportune moments and caused awkward situations.

Of course, Christine had found herself putting this to a stop in the middle of the sixth month. She hadn't wanted to do this, no. It had triggered some false contractions. She'd assured her that they weren't painful and that they hadn't lasted long, but Christine wouldn't allow herself to be swayed by her. It was probably irrational to worry so much. She just wanted to ensure that she didn't do any harm to her.

Being in her thirty-second week now, they were getting closer to her planned C-section. Well, getting closer was a bit of an over-exaggeration seeing as they'd scheduled it for this evening. They could've waited a tiny bit longer but it had been decided that it was safer for both the triplets and Meg this way.

Christine wandered through the house, looking for her heavily pregnant girlfriend. They couldn't be late or reschedule something like this, especially not with Meg's early track record. "Meg! Where are you?" Her voice was uncertain as she called out for her.

"I'm trying to lace my boots up!" Meg called back, a small grunt leaving her lips a moment later. While she was eager to meet her little brats, being so big was quite the hinderance. She often called them little brats affectionately but there was another reason.

That reason was that she had wanted their genders to be a surprise. Christine was a little disappointed by this but she ultimately supported her girlfriend in this decision.

Christine hurried downstairs and skidded to a stop in front of her girlfriend, surprised by how quickly she'd managed to move. "I'll do it. Stop straining yourself." She scolded gently, getting a giggle out of Meg.

Once they were completely ready to go, they were off. The ride was rather anxiety inducing for both of them as Christine wouldn't be able to go back with her. She wasn't family and she wasn't the father of the child. Chauncey thankfully wouldn't be showing up. He still didn't know that he'd left Me with a few little gifts. He would never know, if either of them had any say in the matter.

Upon arriving at the hospital, Meg was immediately taken back. Christine was allowed to sit in the waiting room. Even though it was only a little over an hour, it felt like she was waiting for ages. She'd probably annoyed everyone with her insistent finger drumming but she really couldn't help it.

"Miss Daae? We've successfully preformed the C-section. Meg is asking to see you. We'll be bringing the babies in as soon as we can get them cleaned up." The nurse informed and it was perhaps the best news that Christine had received all day. She followed eagerly when the older woman beckoned for her to do so.

The nurse left her alone with Meg and she immediately noticed the paler tint to her cheeks and all the wires hooked to her girlfriend. This was to be expected as she wasn't going home today. She perched beside her and stroked her hair gently. "How're you holding up, darling?" She asked softly.

"Mm.. I'm doing alright. Mostly 'cause I'm still numb." Meg murmured in response, getting a small giggle out of Christine when she tried to lean up into her hand. Her girlfriend was so cute right now, more so than usual.

"That's good, just don't move too much. We don't need you to rip your stitches." Christine reminded gently, leaning over to kiss her forehead. Meg closed her eyes in bliss and hummed in understanding.

It was a very pleasant surprise when two pink bundles and a blue bundle were brought into them. Meg took both of her daughters and Christine was more than willing to hold the adorable little boy. She cooed down at him, stroking a little cheek with her finger.

"What are you going to name them?" Christine inquired curiously, glancing up at her girlfriend. She wouldn't be surprised if Meg already had something in mind.

"Luc Gustave Giry, Alice Michelle Giry and Odette Astrid Giry." Meg decided, nodding to each baby as she said their full names. She didn't even entertain the idea of giving them Chauncey's last name.

"I love them.." Christine breathed, looking down at Luc as she cradled him. Perhaps her papa would only be remembered by a middle name, but it was better than anything she could ever dream.

Perhaps this was her chance to have a family of her own in some sense.
